2222  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: Was waren eure letzten ICOS? on: November 11, 2017, 12:51:28 PM

At least 20 years or more to see all bitcoin to be mined completely. Since the bitcoin price is increased all of the people are get into bitcoin only to mine and get the higher profit dude. You have to choose the right miner to become the one of the person in among them.
Now bitcoin price is not going higher dude. It bumped to 7k and now back to same value previously we saw.

Hmmm, what makes you so sure of that? In my opinion we are still in a bull market, Bitcoin is likely to surge more until the end of the year. Maybe it will reach 8.000 or even 9.000. I suppose that what happened the last days is just a little dip for Bitcoin to climb even higher. We will see soon!

Could you please provide me with an invite link to the slack channel? I still got some questions that I would like to get answers to. Appreciate it.

It's hard though to know if an ico is scam or not. Some of them are obviously scams, no need for someone to tell you that. Some are in the gray area, and you can find out the truth only when is too late to take action. Look at dashcoin. Everyone was yelling about that one that is a big scam. Do I decided not get into that one. And they even had their crowdsale hacked. However dashcoin prove them wrong and eventually investors made quite a lot of money from that one. So you can have a community tell you which is legit or not, but they can be wrong, and you can lose opportunities because of it. So everyone should their own due diligence.
However we should have a website will ALL the icos, like we have coinmarketcap for all the coins. And have them listed for free. Then anyone could do his research.

You are definitely right about that! Everybody, always should do their own due diligence, but as there are many newbies around, that cant separate the scams with their due diligence, or just because their lack of knowledge, I still think that a general website at least for plain scams should be created, just to blacklist them. As you said there are some projects that are obviously scams, but truth is even these projects manage to lure newbies into their trap, and get rich off the back of other people. This is just not right and should not happen, hopefully there will be ways to prevent things like this from happening.
2230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: How to know a newly created ICO on: November 10, 2017, 10:38:03 PM
I just found the website
www.icobench.com
It’s pretty great because it has a rating system per ICO plus a link to the ICO webpage, it’s white paper and also social media links with comments from the public about the ICO. This morning already discovered an ICO on there that I value from a concept perspective. There are dates listed per ICO, stating when the timeframe is live. Take a look, I found it helpful.

Didnt know this one before, I will check it out. Hopefully they are not getting payed to list the ICO's as this is always shady in my opinion. But most of the ICO tracking websites are doing it. But a rating system is a step towards the right direction for sure.

Im curious how this will turn out. For the good or for the bad, but hopefully for the good, if you can keep up to your promises. After reading the last few posts I am going to take a closer look at the WP myself.

HI Wi-fi Global, is there a soft cap? or a minimum funding goal to your project? This question surely was answered before, but I dont want to read the 70+ pages...

Great concept. Do you have any links with Lynda?
You mentioned Y-combinator smt. Could you explain what you mean by that?

Since this project is becoming decentralized, how do you intend to deal with abuse of the platform when content creators create abusive content?

What do you mean by "abusive content"? All premium projects have to be approved by a site moderator of quality assurance before they get titles a premium project tutorial. This said, I guess no streamer will create bullshit content, as they are real persons.

Y-Combinator is a start-up group, that helps young start-ups with funding and to find their ways in the business world. As far as I know at least.

Glad if I was able to help Smiley
2234  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto is the future, make money of it on: November 10, 2017, 08:51:06 PM
What do you think about the fact that cryptocurrencies will literally be the future ? In a few years, it will exploded and, be rich if we hold many ?

I suppose yes, BUT maybe not by holding every coin that is out there. Cryptocurrencys still have a long way ahead of them until they will be accepted and / or regulated as legit payment method. Thus many coins will not be suitable for the future and will die off. The ones who picked the winners will definitely be rich. I wish all of us to pick these winners!

What is the approximate cost of a project that is ordered in LiveEdu?

It'll be based on monthly subscriptions for whom people are going to be able to pay with EDU Tokens.
2238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: How to know a newly created ICO on: November 10, 2017, 11:55:35 AM
There are many ICO related website such as tokenmarket, icobazaar, icocalendar, icoalert, coinschedule or my favourite: cryptocompare.com/ico
As aforementioned there are also a lot of apps to keep track, but I personally dont use them, the websites are always providing more structured information in my opinion.

How do they get listed on those websites? Can anyone list them or only the legitimate ICOs?

Thats a good question. I dont really know how the listing process on these websites is, but I guess everyone that pays them with some of their tokens or some BTC/ ETH will get listed. Its just business. As I just proposed in another Thread: there should be a trustworthy, independent website that whitelists/ blacklists all upcoming ICOs to seperate the legit ones from the scams. A site that is not profitting, just community maintained and for the good of the whole cryptospace. Hopefully there will be something like this in the near future.
2239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When ICO rush will stop? on: November 10, 2017, 11:44:15 AM
most of them are just shady and seems to be scam , so i guess its  better if someone can invent a kind of registration method or some kind of system to be able to track who is legit or not.

That is also my thinking. The market is totally overloaded at the moment and nobody, even the freakiest cryptonerd, can monitor all thats going on and seperate the scams from the legit ones. So a system with whitelisting/blacklisting for ICO's would be great, or maybe a general site where people could post redflags of suspicious ICO's would be a start. If you start a thread here, it will most likely not get seen by many people. So a website that is only dedicated to that would be great!
2240  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto-payment system on: November 10, 2017, 11:29:48 AM
Thank you for the additional infornmation, appreciate that. If it is possible - can you tell what did you meant by saying "third hand information"? I think it is an extremely important point if we speak about such projects.

Hey, your welcome, thats what the forum is here for! By "third hand information" I meant that people told me that they got told that BitWala provides a good situation. I havent spoke with someone who was a real costumer of BitWala. Im not sure if this term also exists in the english language though, so maybe thats why this caused confusion... have a good one!
