1241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: McDonalds to accept Bitcoin by 2018 on: December 06, 2017, 12:02:03 AM
yeah  guys, i heard that McDonalds from Sweden few days ago inquired for a wallet in one platform. Its a real thing

So thats a real thing you say? If so this will be huge! This will bring BTC to a whole other level if McDonalds branches all over the world would accept Bitcoin. What do you think, would this be the case or only for some countries to test it out first?
1242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Minexcoin - A new era of payments (Exchange launch - November, 1) on: December 05, 2017, 11:46:46 PM
Volume is lower now but buy orders are tripled in 2 days. If I had free BTC I would support the buy walls. The market is open to manipulation now because of low volume. I hope it will be traded in bigger exchanges soon. Bittrex or Binance would be great for better volume.

Thats true, I am looking forward to see a lot more funds coming into crypto in 2018 and all the relevant cryptos having a volume so high that it wont be easy to manipulate anymore. I am disgusted by these market manipulations that we can see still everyday. However for the time being a bigger exchange like Bittrex or Binance are would definitely do good and strenghten the volume.
1243  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: where do you get your predictions? on: December 05, 2017, 11:42:56 PM
I am in some telegram groups where oldschool bitcoiners share their wisdom (I mostly just read and now and then ask questions), this turned out to be the best way to get predictions for me. Other than that I also read some blogs that are trustworthy and give good advise what to buy and what to stay away from. Another source is this forum, but I have learned that this forum is also full of trolls, so for the time being I remain suspicious in here.
1244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-ICO] AION - The Third Generation Blockchain Network on: December 05, 2017, 11:17:57 PM
As I recently read about the interoperability alliance I became aware of the great project AION. I was actually looking exactly for such projects do diversify my crypto portfolio with, as I am certain that there will be a huge need for those kind of projects. I now decided to fill 20% of my portfolio with those kind of projects, 10% on AION and 10% on Wanchain. What do you think about this split?
1245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SOMA - The Social Marketplace on: December 05, 2017, 11:14:40 PM
I really like to see SOMA prospering, I had to stay out of the ICO because I had no funds to spare at that time, but I was really interested in the project. Will be one of the first to check out the beta in 2018 and hopefully later the MVP!
1246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] POPULOUS - Invoice trading platform | ICO l BOUNTY CAMPAIGN on: December 05, 2017, 11:11:05 PM
Populous is doing great as I see on coinmarketcap. At first I was skeptical for it and therefore stayed away from the ICO. I must admit that I didnt researched much at that time about this coin. Turns out that it had been a way better investment than the ones I did back then. However, there is no need to regret, I will just jump in now and hope for an even higher rise in 2018!
1247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: December 05, 2017, 11:07:46 PM
I bought in in Monaco last week and it was a really good decision as it turned out! Already 100% ROI from this investment and I think this is only the beginning! Definitely my best investment in the last two months.
1248  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to protect your portfolio during the bear market? on: December 05, 2017, 11:04:54 PM
I for my part are long term hodling most of my coins in cold storage and therefore are just holding through the bear market and dont watch the prices too often. But I know people that just cash out everything to fiat, some also hedge via USTD (I dont like that though, trust issues from my side). I guess everybody must decide for himself what suits him, if you speculate on cheaper entries and plan on buying again, a cashout to fiat and then back to crypto would be the best way I guess, as nobody can know what happens to BTC in a bear market.
1249  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Suggest a good trading platform on: December 05, 2017, 10:57:58 PM
If you are looking to trade fiat to crypto I would suggest you Bitstamp and Kraken. Those are definitely my favourites. But if you are looking for crypto to crypto exchanges (without fiat at all) I would suggest you Binance. I also trade on bittrex, but it was pretty laggy in the last time and I have read some alarming reports on the forum too, so I would be careful. I would stay away from smaller exchanges like Cryptopia, Liqui or Yobit, I only trade there if there is no other choice.
1250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: BTCMoon Airdrop on: December 05, 2017, 10:51:02 PM
Im pretty confused about this project. Is it legit? A lot of fud in this thread but also many positive comments about it. As I found out it is already trading on several exchanges and made some insane gains in the last days. There is also a good trading volume as it seems. What are the advantages of BTCMoon? Would be nice if you share your opinions.
1251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] DIMCOIN The Future Of Equity on the Blockchain on: December 05, 2017, 10:45:57 PM
Hi guys, is this a new branch of DIMCOIN to develop? I see the opinions about this are split here, what do you know for sure about the team behind? Is it OK to invest?

Are you referring to DIMPAY? Because that actually is the new ICO that originated from DIMCOIN as far as I know. As for DIMCOIN, it is a really good investment in my opinion. I would advise you to read the whitepaper, this project has a very long road of success in front of it. I dont advise to invest, always do your own research and base your decision on your sentiment about the project.
1252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SHA-256D] PETRODOLLAR (P$): BIG OIL COMES TO CRYPTO on: December 05, 2017, 10:42:37 PM
Petrodollar is listed on coinmarketcap under XPD if Im not mistaken? That is a damn huge increase in price as I see on Coinmarketcap. Is there a reason for this huge spike? Really wonder why this happened this fast.

That's what i'm saying that maybe people confused this coin with the announced coin from Maduro in Venezuela and pumped this coin by accident, the coin that maduro announced is also called PETRO.

I also read your post after I posted my question, would be nice to have an answer on it, but maybe nobody knows the real reason and everybody just thinks a x1000 raise can happen these days in crypto. Whats the deal with the coin Maduro announced? As far as I knew Venezuela banned cryptocurrencies wasnt that the case?
1253  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Dota 2 play for money on: December 05, 2017, 08:23:16 PM
I recently saw this project called bountie (at least I think it was this), they want to give players of every skill level, if casual player or pro player, the opportunity to monetize their game (I think they only serve the asian market for now though). I guess this can really have a huge impact because so many players cant monetize what they do and if that will be possible from now on, it will incentivice people to use such platforms. Blockchain projects are great!
1254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Blockfolio ~Bitcoin and Altcoin Portfolio App~ Android and iOS on: December 05, 2017, 07:58:08 PM
One of the best applications in this cryptocurrency world, really big applause to developers.
I m using everyday everytime every moment nearly,
sometimes it lags or prices updates late but it always delivers good work.
keep up the good work and pls add altcoins faster
thanks

Second that, this App made the life of crypto enthusiasts so much more convenient. Its just great to be able to check your portfolio everytime you want and with all the nice new features added its even more convenient and fun.

One question: is it planned to implement a feature for checking the top 50 or top 100 coins on a seperate page besides of the own portfolio? I think this would bring another huge advantage to blockfolio, as all apps that I know that try to imitate coinmarketcap in an app version, are not very useful. I think that yuo guys would be capable to deliver something in this direction that could be great. Would be happy to get an answer on this.
1255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bancor | Protocol for Smart-tokens, solving the liquidity problem on: December 05, 2017, 07:51:05 PM
I know, I still think Bancor could be a big surprise for next months.
In $ problably you didnt lost too much, vs BTC almost everything is losing.

That is certainly true, alsmost every crypto lost compared to BTC value. I dont care about the dollar value, thats irrelevant. The point I was trying to make was that the initial investment was made with ETH and its the ETH trading price that I am looking at when checking the BNT price and as we are currently trading at around 0.006 ETH /BNT it just feels bad to know that I could have almost double bags of BNT with the same investment now. While missing out on other profits for over half a year now because of holding BNT.
1256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PHR] Phore - 100% PoS 3.0 - Masternodes - Zerocoin - Governance No ICO/Premine on: December 05, 2017, 07:39:07 PM
Our team won't badmouth other coins. I will tell you that we take professionalism seriously though. If you don't believe me, stop by in the discord and ask the core community. Great group of people.

Thats actually the most important thing for a solid community and therefor a successful project in my opinion. Thumbs up to you for this attitude.

I have two questions: 1. Is the code open sourced? 2. Was there a premine or not?

Thanks in advance and keep up the great work!
1257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage on: December 05, 2017, 07:32:45 PM
My concern with SIA is that for a widespread adoption it would need a blockchain that is more "light" dont you guys think? I mean it takes literally ages to sync (I'm still on 25% and have it running for several !weeks!, of course not all day long, but several hours a day). With this kind of a heavy blockchain people wont be very pleased to participate in the SIA network dont you think? Cant there be a more convenient solution somehow?
1258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [PTOY] Patientory Healthcare on the Blockchain on: December 05, 2017, 07:25:56 PM
Alright ouch, that doesnt sound good what I read here in this thread. I am still holding my PTOY, but only because it was my first ICO ever. I wont leave that alone. Even if the fud in this thread becomes a reality and I loose all the money in the end. But if not, I will maybe be one of the lucky holders that stayed with Patientory.
1259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best ICO of week on: December 05, 2017, 07:21:49 PM
I would definitely recommend everyone to take a look at Envion. They will provide mining solutions for the future, mobile mining units (containers) that will be placed right to the source of energy (green energy to be precise) and therefore prevent the cryptospace from eating up all the electricity produced from fossil ressources. This will be a highly successful project I have no doubt about it. The team is very responsive and proactive in the telegram chat that has almost 9k members.
1260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] [WGR] | Wagerr | The Betting Blockchain | Bounties on: December 05, 2017, 07:18:28 PM
Guys, lets not focus on the price. The price doesnt matter much in these early days, we should all be happy to be here to be a part of the successful journey of Wagerr. This project is targeting a huge market and is very professional in my opinion (unlike many other betting projects), so lets wait until mainnet is released and the first functions will be usable, price will surely follow with wider adoption. I am not scared at all that Wagerr will become successful.
