1221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA seems to be dropping on missed announcement on: December 06, 2017, 01:07:13 PM
The price increase of IOTA is insane, in my opinion this cant be real and definitely should not be and not in such a short time. Look at the total supply of IOTA, how can one IOT be priced at ~$5, crazy in my opinion. I have a bad feeling, that many people that want to hop on this train will suffer huge losses and then blame it on crypto markets, although its their own fault for running behind a hype... Just insane.
1222  Other / Off-topic / Re: Healthy Diet on: December 06, 2017, 12:16:12 PM
I would stick to eating less carbohydrates for some times, this will make your body get used to less energy and therefore you will not be tempted by snacks that are offered you whereever you are, it its at work or in the supermarket. The most important thing is to discipline yourself for a certain time, depends also on the individual, some need more time, some need less. In this time you will change your attitude overall and after that it will become normal to eat healthy and you dont need to discipline yourself much to do so. But there is also a big chance of falling back into old habits. Always watch out, if you sense that you do so , discipline yourself again. Watch yourself closely!
1223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ►►►[XBC] BitcoinPlus ►Official Thread◄官方公告◄◄◄ on: December 06, 2017, 12:10:50 PM
The old XBC that was abandoned was distributed on Poloniex back in 2014.It probably was some form of ICO but the developer put nothing into the coin and abandoned any of us who bought coins. Some others then stepped in and ran it for a while until they decided to call it a day and we were left without anyone to take over. That's when the old coin/chain stalled. Its all on the website history part.

Alright, so this coin has a pretty long history already. Is there a big userbase still that supports the coin? As this thread got 200+ it seems like it. I see that XBC is traded on poloniex, that is certainly something not many currencies nowadays can achieve. But trading volume is not that big and trades are mostly done through poloniex like 95% or something like that. Im interested, but not sure yet. Can somebody give some advice if this is a good investment or not, when entering now?
1224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC2] Einsteinium | FUNDING THE FUTURE WITH THE FUTURE OF CURRENCY on: December 06, 2017, 12:01:26 PM
Is the fork negative or positive for the price? or is that hard to say.

Im not an expert, but as it is publicity for EMC2 that will bring in new people, it will be good for the price. As we have seen with other forks in the past. The older, proven currency came up on top and more strong than ever. If I see it wrong please correct me!
1225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 🔵 Datarius 🔴 First Social p2p Cryptobank 🔵 on: December 06, 2017, 11:53:16 AM
Wow this project sounds just so great. This will be a disruptor and likewise something that helps people all over the world to get access to a network that offers similar servies as a bank. All that is needed to have access to all those features will be a smartphone, and everyone got those nowadays. Really solid project, I hope that everything on the roadmap can be implemented successfully and we all will be able to use your platform in the future!
1226  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin reach $15000 mark by first quarter of 2018 ? on: December 06, 2017, 11:35:18 AM
As we are almost touching $13,000 today, I can see Bitcoin price even reaching $15,000 in this month, maybe even in next days. Bitcoin momentum is strong and just doesnt seem to have an end. I think its crazy that we have such a constant increase, for me thats too fast, but im excited where it is heading.
1227  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: From 0.1 to 1 BTC in 6 months with Day-Trading on: December 06, 2017, 02:16:51 AM
Good luck on your journey, hope that it will be a succesful one. I like this kind of projects and will definitely follow your progress. I would love to be able to do this, but unfortunately I'm a very unexperienced trader.
1228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Neo December moon on: December 06, 2017, 01:58:37 AM
It has been a bit quite around NEO lately is my impression. However I think that neo can break the $50 mark by the end of 2017. But I dont see it mooning further this year. But next year there will surely be also a time for NEO to moon!
1229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔵 [ANN][ICO][BOUNTY] Aurora IDEX 🔥 Instant Ethereum Decentralized Exchange 🔵 on: December 06, 2017, 01:51:32 AM
I really like the Idex exchange, its a smooth experience to trade there. Hopefully we will see more traders and therefore considerable volumes soon. Then the real fun begins! Best wishes for your ICO!
1230  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the bitcoin price doesn't stop rising? on: December 06, 2017, 01:49:21 AM
The steadily increasing price of bitcoin of course animate investors to buy it in the hope that it will increase further and they will have a great winning. But the real reason why crypto currencies continue to increase is because there is a ton of trillions in fiat money available that looks for a return of capital and honestly where can you find such relatively secure winning rates besides the stock market that is based on the fiat crap?

When I opened this thread I was about to write exactly the same as you did, maybe with a bit different wording, but exactly the same meaning. Normal people are incentiviced to invest because they think it will a higher increase of price, while big players make money on the artificially (by them) created swings. Prices then are being held upon a certain level and further going up so that the circle contiunues. Thats how our current market looks.
1231  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: December 06, 2017, 01:29:27 AM
Is anyone here waiting for prices to go down so they could buy?  There are several coins i want to buy but the price is going so high... its basically an all time high etc...

To be honest, yes I am waiting for prices to go down so I can finally buy. Actually I have some fiat sitting on the exchange and waiting to be converted to Bitcoin for over 2! months now. I was too greedy back then and always thought that price will drop again, but it just kept rising. Now I will be happy to even be able to buy at $9,000.

As for the question of OP, I think it depends on the strategy one is pursuing. If you are long term holding, like I am, its best to just suffer the losses and stay in, and wait for the market to recover. That has worked fine for me so far.
1232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When you first know about bitcoin what was the price? on: December 06, 2017, 01:21:05 AM
When I first heard of Bitcoin it unfortunately didnt interest me at all. I cant remember the price at that time because I didnt care for it, but it was in 2012 I guess. The first time I was aware of the price it was trading at around $500. However stupid me still had no interest and didnt get in.
1233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] æternity blockchain ∞ AE TOKEN ∞ [PoW & PoS | Oracles | Smart Contracts] on: December 06, 2017, 01:17:22 AM
When we redeem the token, we can trade it at liqui?  I dont understand what ive read that it cant be moved.

The AE tokens were distributed some months ago. They are tradable at liqui and etherdelta as far as I know. They where sent to your ETH address automatically, if you dont see your tokens from the ICO in your wallet, you may need to add a costum token (contract address, symbol, decimals). You can find the information needed in the above posted link.
1234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hottest ico december on: December 06, 2017, 01:14:28 AM
I think one of the hottest ICO's for december is definitely Envion. They will offer mobile mining units that will be placed on clean energy sites and be directly operated from there. I can definitely recommend to check them out and ask your question on the telegram channel where the team is very active. Always do your own research though!
1235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In the case of a large percentage drop on: December 06, 2017, 12:53:18 AM
I guess that depends on your goals. If you want to multiply your Bitcoin holdings anyway by trading, you might be better off cutting losses and buying back in cheaper. But if you are going long term anyway and didnt plan to trade you can just stay in and wait for BTC to recover. This might be hard the first times, but one gets used to it in this volatile market, Bitcoin (as any other crypto) sometimes suffers huge drops, but always comes back up, stronger than ever, at least thats what I witnessed on my crypto journey.
1236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin not so anonymous? on: December 06, 2017, 12:48:39 AM
My guess always was that Bitcoin is anonymous as long as there wont be a link of your address to your person. As a distributed (open) ledger, all transactions are visible for everyone, so whatever one spends or receives can be seen by everyone. But if you for example always do your business from an internet cafe or other public places, nobody can link your entry in the ledger to your person. What I was always wondering about was how those mixing services work? Do they just send the transaction that you want to send to eg 10000 different addresses before sending it to the destination address? So it would be a huge amount of work to check all the addresses? I cant imagine how else they could make a transaction non trackable on Bitcoins blockchain. But this would also not be doable because of the transaction cost and speed. Maybe someone can explain it to me?
1237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TenX: Making Blockchain assets spendable on: December 06, 2017, 12:39:13 AM
Guys quick question, is it still possible to order a TenX card or were they only for ICO investors? If so, how? I could not find any information about that on the website. I really do want to have such a card!
1238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you USE your BTC? on: December 06, 2017, 12:34:54 AM
I bought something real just once with BTC but am likely to do it more often as more shops will start to accept Bitcoin. What I buy most of the time with my BTC are other coins or tokens. I guess most people are doing it like that, there are just too few ways to spend Bitcoin effectivly, Im looking forward when decentralized marketplaces such as BitBay will be used by many people and one will be able to buy everyday stuff from other Bitcoin users.
1239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What the hell are Crypto kitties? on: December 06, 2017, 12:28:22 AM
Glad I found this thread. Ive also seen some memes about it and that everybody is talking about kittens today, but I dont understood the big deal. As this seems to be just the beginning of this game, dont you think that this is way too much for the ethereum blockchain to handle? Maybe this is a coup executed by some competition of Ethereum to show the public the weaknesses Ethereum networks scalability. So as this is a game, and not an airdrop of some sort as I first thought, we can now expect that this will go on continously like that am I right? ETH network will be clogged until they stop the game? Hope Im wrong and someone corrects me.
1240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [BQX] Bitquence: Universal Wallet and Value Management Platform on: December 06, 2017, 12:08:39 AM
Guys one question that you surely can answer. If I want to use the Bitquence wallet are there restrictions or can I really use every coin that is out there with this wallet? I would also like to know if I can also pay the fees for transaction from this wallet only with Ethos or also with other currencies that I hold in the wallet? Thanks in advance.
