Here's a post from Satoshi himself how he started working on Bitcoin in 2007. If he were to be a person who had lost 'everything', I imagine he would have been busy trying to survive, instead of working on a novel project with an unkown/highly unpredictable ROI. The design and coding started in 2007.

Noone can say you're a scammer I do not believe. That's the flaw in the TRUST system IMO. That is also the reason we need a TRUST system for traders and such, and a REPUTATION system for trolls such as yourself.
The 2 definitely need to be separated. I believe if this were to be implemented then things would be alot better around here. Of course, then we would have you and others bitching you have been labeled a troll and you don't believe you are, but at least then we could post proof(almost all your posts) and be justified in our troll tag.
I wouldn't expect anyone else to follow suit with me but I hope a REPUTATION system could be considered and implemented.
We used to have this feature where if enough people ('established users', I don't remember the exact definition) clicked to 'Ignore' a given user's post, his Ignore button started changing colours, from light yellow to dark orange/brown if I remember correctly. This feature, same as some user/forum statistics, was disabled because it was taking too many resources IIRC. |

Anyone still has that thread, but without OgNasty's private information? (it's not in the Trashcan so I can't see it myself). I am guessing theymos either deleted it or put it in a trashcan like sub only accessible to admins. I saw it after OgNs information was deleted, but I believe all it said was OgN didn’t pay his taxes. When I saw it the thread was in investigations and I cannot find it on google nor the way back machine. It must have said more, no? Why else create one in the first place. I'm asking because I have a hard time passing judgement (and updating my Trust list because I'm DT1) seeing how almost everyone's acting immaturely. That's my impression at least, without seeing the full picture. |

Bardzo chętnie bym przeczytał Twoją pracę, ale pomimo wszystko będę musiał zrezygnować z propozycji, bo jak znam siebię, to i tak bym nie otworzył tego załącznika kiedy mi go przyślesz, bo mam paranoje na tym punkcie. Nawet gdybym podał nieistotny adres email nie zmienia to faktu, że Cię wogóle nie znam a forum to nalepszy sposób na znalezienie ofiar do zainfekowania.
Teraz sobie uświadomiłem jakie to proste i jak łatwo można paść ofiarą hakera na forum. Oczywiście nie mówię, że Ty nim jesteś, ale nasz dialog idealnie pasuje do przykładu na to czego nie wolno robić w internecie.
Od tego masz maszyny wirtualna, albo online'owe przeglądarki plików jak obawiasz się 0dayów w pdfie czy dokumencie. |

Definicja plagiatu jest szersza, samo przedstawianie czyichś słów jako własne, choćby to miało być jedno zdanie, łapie się pod plagiat.

Okrutne to trochę. Perma-bany bez ostrzeżenia za posty sprzed 2 lat... aż zaczynam się bać, czy ktoś nie znajdzie za jakiś czas 1 podejrzanego postu (z blisko 1000 postów), gdzie zapomniałem wkleić link ze źródłem. Powinno być jakieś 6 miesięczne przedawnienie. I cała praca i starania zrównana z ziemią. Też sądzicie, że tak powinno to wyglądać? Osobiście nie chciałbym, by ktoś z nas stracił konto tylko dlatego, że 2 lata temu skopiował 1 zdanie by wykorzystać w swoim poście.
Zawsze mieliśmy takie podejście do plagiatowania i zawsze był permaban, sam sporo takich rozdałem. Ogromnie szkodliwe jest to zjawisko dla jakości dyskusji, stąd surowe kary. Różne ciekawe triki niektórzy dawniej próbowali, aby nie być wykrytym, które już nie przechodzą, np. zamienianie identycznie wyglądających znaków z alfabetu łacińskiego na cyrylicę. Jak wejdziesz na linki zobaczysz też, że nie mogły być to niewinne błędy. - Plagiarism: If you copy some text from somewhere, then you should have a good reason for it, and you must link to the source. Doing otherwise is plagiarism. Changing a few words around doesn't matter. If we find that you plagiarized, then you absolutely will be permanently banned, even if we find it years after you did it.
Jednej osobie (redsn0w) udało się dostać bana tylko na 30 dni + ban na sygnaturki na 2 lata. Miał chyba tylko jednego posta splagiatowanego sprzed 4.5 lat. |

Ja dodaję nie tych, którym bezgranicznie ufam, tylko tych, co do których mam pewność, że dają poprawne ratingi. Są osoby, którym można ufać, że nie oszukają (i jak się robiło z nimi biznes to można zostawić pozytywną ocenę), ale którzy dają nieobiektywne ratingi innym użytkownikom.

Co w sumie skłoniło Suszczka żeby wprowadzić FTO na BitBaya? Aż tak źle zarabia giełda czy Futurenet tak dobrze zapłacił za listing? Bo moim zdaniem jeśli chodzi o kwestie wizerunku to strzał w stopę straszny.
Czy wizerunek giełdy kryptowalutowych jest na tyle pozytywny, że wprowadzanie scam-projektów (lub projektów ocierających się o scam) na własną giełdę im długoterminowo zaszkodzi? Prowadzenie giełdy jest na tyle niepewnym biznesem (włamania, problemy z bankowością), że nikt realnie nie patrzy dalej niż 12 miesięcy naprzód. |

Interesting thing for myself and maybe yourself , I’ve never seen you post here in the time ive been been in collectibles -only a few months admittedly- but that , mustbe a massively positive thing for all, especially in this sub section. If members in the collectibles can agree with common sense the aggregate rules of the sub section , then let it be !

Nikt nie będzie masowo banował kont, tylko dlatego, że postują w sekcji bounty, bany są za łamanie zasad forum/spam. Akurat lepiej, żeby w jednym kącie sobie trzaskali śmieciowe posty niż po całym forum. Dzięki systemowi Merit i tak nie awansują.
99% plagiatujących nie ma szans na odbanowanie, good riddance.

I can appreciate the rules. What is unfortunate is that if anyone ever went into altcoins marketplace thread its littered with garbage. Nothing can actually be sold in there. So there's the problem. I do agree rules are rules but if anyone ever wanted to actually sell something in there it would 99% be unsuccessful because no one is selling any goods in there. I think the last person to successfully sell something in there on a regular basis was smoothie and they were LTC coins he accepted btc for  *shrugs* At the end of the day, this is bitcointalk, not altcointalk. You can always create a topic in Meta if you believe the altcoin section(s) don't get enough moderation. |

coblee recently posted he also accepts BTC and I told him to include that info in the OP, next time feel free to report similar topics. I always assumed that accepting an Altcoin is fine, as long as you are open for payment in Bitcoin as well.

I'm happy to accept BTC also. Just figured it was easier to price in LTC and accept LTC. If there is such a rule about only accept BTC, that's fine. Just let me know. Please edit your OP to include this piece of information. BTC must be one of the accepted methods of payment, otherwise the topic belongs in the relevant altcoin board. Trochę poczytałem o Yubikey i muszę przyznać, że jest to ciekawe rozwiązanie, ale jak komputer będzie zainfekowany, to chyba i tak jest szansa, że zdobędzie dostęp do klucza, bo wpina się go przez usb. Próbowałem znaleźć więcej informacji na ich stronie, ale są tam raczej reklamy, a nie ściśle technicze informacje. Cena to jakieś 50 dolarów czyli całkiem przystępnie, ale jestem ciekaw czy nie ma dalszych opłat, na przykład za korzystanie z serwisu co miesiąc? Na Mt.Gox kiedyś można było logować się za pomocą yubikey. Teraz chyba tylko BitMEX je wspiera. |
