2221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best time to play Slot on: August 12, 2022, 12:10:56 PM
OP, then I believe the most important question for the topic will be, what are the most popular slot machines that have jackpots, or give opportunities to play for a jackpot? Can anyone make a list/share their secrets? Because obviously those slot machines will give the most probability to play, and win for jackpots based on OP's guide.

Hi blue Snow,

Noted on your suggestion, thank you!

Hello Wind_FURY,

We can recommend to you sice games that you might enjoy as well like Lightning Dice, 100 Bit Dice, Slice & Dice. Hope you'll enjoy.

I was playing Lightning Dice as you have suggested, but the game was very fast for me, and I didn't understand how to play or the objectives of the game. Plus the live dealer was distracting me. Hahaha.

I am currently playing first person craps, which I believe gives the player more opportunities to win, and more control over the bets/choices of bets. I actually discovered a beginner's strategy guide for craps while I was looking for a poker strategy guide, https://www.mypokercoaching.com/craps-strategy/

Cool

How many profit do you get so far on all those free spin? Blackjack.fun daily fs is the best regular giveaways for real.  Cheesy

The highest free spin that I collected on a single day was 40+ free spin but I don’t hit a single bonus game out of the 40+ try. I usually hit bonus game when I just have 5 or 1 free spin on my balance. Dig dig digger doesn’t offer huge return on each spin. We should not expect to get any big amount out of this free spin because this slot is designed for small returns only due to its low volatility.

The highest profit that I get on all my free spin was 300ubtc but I saw someone winning more than 1000ubtc on the chat box.

What's a single bonus game? Is that like a jackpot for Dig Dig Digger? I won one "Big Win" from one of the free spins worth $3.00 in mBTC. Haha. It obviously wasn't that big, but I was happy to play all of it in Plinko during my breaks at work.

Does everyone receive a message saying that "Voting is closed" for the Daily Wagering competition? It has been "closed" this week, every time I try to vote.
2224  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: August 12, 2022, 08:36:03 AM
That's disingenuous. You are using the term bitcoin to refer to BSV when that is not true.

Disingenuous would be saying that Bitcoin is 'digital gold', when it is obviously supposed to be a peer to peer electronic cash system.

I guess we are just built different.

We truly are different. Bitcoin can be both Store of Value, and Medium of Exchange. OR it can be much more than we believe it is. It can be something that can weaken political strongholds. That's more than a form of Store of Value, or Medium of Exchange. Bitcoin could be no mere currency.

I'm talking about the actual Bitcoin, OK? BTC, not the forked shitcoin of a forked shitcoin called BSV.
2225  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: August 11, 2022, 09:41:23 AM
CPI print, or Consumer Price Index, will be announced later! If it shows that inflation has finally peaked and has started to decrease/slow down, then I believe it's probably YOUR opportunity to buy EVERY DIP, and HODL. There might be actual fudsters in the forum who truly want that Bitcoin will crash more below $20,000 again, but perhaps they just missed their golden opportunity. There might be some DIPs to $21,000 though.

The CPI is only a few hours away, and many expect 8.7% this time, lower than last month. In theory, if the CPI falls as expected, everything should turn out fine. Every stock market, and cryptocurrencies are standing still waiting for CPI to be announced, I hope there will be no surprises. CPI falls but the market won't rise, anything can happen. The market is unpredictable, let's wait and see the results.

Cool

CPI printed 8.5%, less than what economists, investors, and traders expected. BUT I believe it's not yet over. Food and Energy prices may have fallen, but Rent inflation is still high. September's CPI print will be revealing if inflation is truly subsiding. Wait for September's rent inflation.

Plus watch the Reverse Repo Facility, https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/RRPONTSYD

If the money in there starts decreasing, that's more liquidity for the markets, and possibly Bitcoin.

I am winner (not to be confused with RealWinner).
I used disposable email, which I no longer have access to, so I never saw any emails from admin and can't answer any emails on that address Sad  I tried emailing info@blackjack.fun from blackjackfunwinner@proton.me a few days ago but they haven't replied yet.  The withdrawal is not paid yet. Sad
It would be nice if the next version of blackjack.fun lets me edit the account's email address on the settings page.  To prove I am winner my balance is 5183.68647 [edit: 5308.68647] mbtc right now but i'm probably going to win 1 more from the hourly and something from the daily contests.   I've been travelling for most of the last 3 weeks which made it too easy for RW Tongue

Got your email. You wrote to me as a third person. That`s why it was a bit confusing.
Ok, I will write now you and we have finally a direct communication.

It's good to see that BlackJack.fun is taking care of its users. I hope Private User/Winner's problem is resolved as soon as possible, then we can whale watch him race in the wagering competitions against Real Winner and GOD!

Real Winner is winning everything, including the Biggest Win Competition, and he's now the voters' favorite. No more votes are going to the other whales. Haha.

I’m curious how many spin do you manage to get per day by participating on all the voting event. I really want to complete those 60+ spins per day but it’s very hard to complete vote on hourly because Realwinner sometimes play late which already on the cutoff period to vote. I don’t know if Realwinner is just messing around with us. Haha.

How many profit do you get so far on all those free spin? Blackjack.fun daily fs is the best regular giveaways for real.  Cheesy

I believe the Daily Wagering Competition gives away five spins, but whenever I vote, it warns "Voting is over". The Hourly Wagering Competition gives one spin, and the Biggest Win Competition also just one spin. The Weekly Wagering Competition gives away 30 spins, and I always vote for Real Winner. Add them together, and you can possbly win an average of 5 or 6 spins a day just by voting for Real Winner. Cool
2227  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Day Trading be profitable in Crypto ? on: August 11, 2022, 06:30:38 AM
To all the plebs like me who read all the trading "advice" in the topic, first ask the person who's giving the advice if he/she has been a profitable consistently, WITH PROOF. If they're not, then don't take their trading advice. Because for many plebs, the best trade is probably just a low time-preference HODL in Bitcoin. If can't perform better than Bitcoin-HODL through day trading, then why day trade?

I'm one of those who try day trading, but I guess it's not for me and so I just decided to just buy and be a HODLer.

I mean, that is less hustle, not much time to spend in front of your hardware to analyse and do the trade. You just need some capital to buy during the dip and then nothing to do.

I'm one of those plebs who thought I could make consistent profit from day-trading too, but when I wrote all my trades in a spreadsheet, I noticed that I would have made more profit just by HODLing Bitcoin than using my Bitcoin as capital for trading.

Quote

I have nothing against day trader, if they are earning good money, then good for them. But I guess it will not be for everyone, it's not a one size fits all kind of hat, in my opinion.

I have nothing against them too, but I have something against those plebs in the forum who post like they are profitable day-traders, giving financial advice.

2229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Myths that we often hear on: August 10, 2022, 11:07:30 AM
Some of these "myths" are NOT actually myths. They're simply common sense.

Myth 1: Gambling Isn’t Addictive
>> Fact: Gambling is designed to be addictive.

I believe it's designed to be entertaining, like a video game. But it's addictive only for some groups people, to the majority, I believe not.

Quote

Myth 2: Gambling Is a Way to Make Money
>> Fact: The house always wins, especially when it comes to compulsive gamblers.

If that's a myth, no one believes it. It's simple common sense that gambling is NOT a way to make money for us mere plebs.

Quote

Myth 3: If You Keep Playing, You Will Eventually Win Your Money Back.
>> Fact: The longer someone remains in active gambling addiction, the greater the losses.

That's not a myth. Everyone knows you lose if you keep playing.

Quote

Myth 4: If You Can Afford It, Compulsive Gambling Isn’t Really a Problem.
>> Fact: Compulsive gambling is a symptom of underlying emotional and coping problems.

Compulsive gambling is an addiction, it's not merely emotional or coping problems. Sometimes it's genetic.

Quote

Myth 6: Knowing a Game Well Increases Your Odds of Winning
>> Fact: Gambling games are designed to not have any aspect that will increase the odds of winning purely out of knowledge or skill.

It depends on the game. If you can control the edge, and if you can avoid the house or the player having an edge on you, then it increases your odds of winning.

Quote

Myth 9: All Gamblers Engage in Criminal Behavior
>> Fact: Gamblers who seek and accept help can recover before they have to resort to criminal activity to finance their gambling.

Fact, many gamblers are rich and don't need to engage in criminal behavior. There are also professional gamblers who gamble for profit.

Quote

Myth 11: Feeling Lucky Means You’re Going to Win
>> Fact: Distorted beliefs about luck are a key mechanism in developing gambling addiction.

Who invented this "myth"?

Hi Wind_FURY,

Goodluck and enjoy playing in our online casino. Thanks!

Hello capedbaldy,

Thank you for appreciating our support service, should you have any concerns please message us here or via our 24/7 live chat support.

I made the deposit through the Lightning Network. The confirmation was instant as usual, and the fee was far lesser than the regular onchain Bitcoin transaction. Every Bitcoiner should have some sats in their Lightning wallets. It's just like owning an altcoin, but it's real actual, precious Bitcoins. Cool

Poker was empty, and the freerolls don't start until 10 hours from now, and the others don't start until Friday and Sunday. I want to play another game during my lunch breaks. What dice games have low house edge?

I agree with you that it is possible to make profit with lower time frame in future market even in bearish conditions but with good technical skills and take entry and exit based on signals generated by technical chart  and keeping aside emotions. Using stop loss is also important for risk/money management to save your capital because buy & sell signals are generally reliable but never 100% correct.

it takes a tight stop loss and good analysis to perform scalping techniques in futures trading, because futures trading has a higher risk. and the most important thing to note is the use of leverage wisely, don't be too greedy. Small time frames make trades faster and this can give you more profit if done repeatedly. Trading power is suitable for using scalping techniques, it will be profitable for those who understand and can analyze the market.

It's also better to take a long term HODL trade if you can't profit more in day trading. Because why do scalping if not to try to outperform the market in general? If you can't do it, just HODL. It wouldn't actually just be better for your pocket/wallet, it would also be better for your sanity.

I believe companies listed in the stock market are required to report their market investments, but it doesn't mean they should report it on the day they made the move. I think they have a required schedule when they should be filing to the SEC, then reporting what they did for the quarter.

Elon Musk has enough legal problems from his failed bid to buy Twitter, I don't believe he wants more problems from the SEC for market manipulation. Hahaha. Everyone currently hates Elon Musk that they're looking for something wrong in his every move.
Musk is playing with market ....I believe one should be as influential as Musk - his one word can move the market upside down.

This is how fortune favors some daring people and Musk is one of them - more power to you man

No, I believe NOT. His "one word" could move shitcoins like Dogecoin, or it might move Bitcoin for one hour, but the market always prices information in. Elon Musk will become irrelevant, HAS ACTUALLY become irrelevant to Bitcoin and the market in general, than when Tesla announced their sale of their Bitcoins, the market didn't react negatively. In fact, it reacted positively. Bitcoin is higher than Tesla's sell price.

OK, thank you! I have my sats ready to try your Lightning deposits, and for some Poker play during my lunch break when I'm working. I will also try to withdraw through Lightning too, BUT if only I have something to withdraw from BetPlay. Hahaha.

Finally I created an account here after seeing a Poker game  Smiley I also checked the list of slot game providers looks like it's complete

Some of my favorite providers are already available so let's see what else we can get here which we don't get in other casino

By the way betplay.io is not related to Betplay.com right?

I want to try poker for my next deposit. I believe that's the card game for me. I've been working hard to learn BlackJack, but I consistently never win. I was also using Coin_trader's strategy card matrix, but I still lose every time. Sometimes lose just a little amount during lunch break, and then I play again another time and lose the whole deposit! There's nothing to withdraw. Hahaha.

I should buy a Fengshui waving cat.

Poker is much complicated game than blackjack but you really have more chance of winning on Poker if you have skills rather than blackjack because you are just against other players unlike blackjack which is the house and no one can beat the house no matter how safe we are on our gambling strategy.

We don’t have any idea how skilled players on Betplay but if they are just average players, This path that you choose will surely give you profit.

Doesn't that depend on the user/player, and what his/her strengths and weaknesses are as a gambler? I'm not much of a gambler, I know I'm very weak in both Poker and BlackJack. Haha.

Plus in the community in general, does Bitcointalk have skilled players who play frequently in casinos with poker tables?

I am winner, and lately I got very lucky and won back most of my old losses but the withdrawal was taking a long time and i couldn't use the chat to ask about it.  What's the deal with that?

I just cancelled the old withdrawal and submitted a new withdrawal for my entire 5btc balance, just to see if they actually have the coins to pay me that much.   Gotta be careful because so many crypto companies went bankrupt lately.  Will report back what happens.

Hello

If you are winner could you please contact us by email. We wrote you few emails some time ago with no answers. Ofcourse we pay out all the winnings.

If you're looking for Real Winner, then anonymouscoward is defintiely NOT Real Winner. Real Winner's real Bitcointalk account is IndependentGambler, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=903350

He posts in this topic sometimes, calling for everyone to play with him and race him in the wagering competitions. If I'm wrong, and IndependentGambler is not BlackJack.fun's Real Winner, then just confirm it in the chat.

Plus it's currently RealWinner vs. GOD in the Hourly Wagering Competition if anyone wants to "whale watch".
2237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Trading at a Discount, Says Bloomberg Senior Analyst on: August 08, 2022, 10:31:42 AM
Crypto winter for some, summer sales for some others  Wink

Indeed, it's trading at a discount, especially in the last 2 months. And this situation may last some more months, or the price may drop some more, or maybe the crypto winter is already over (we just have a pump - maybe small, maybe not). However, crypto winter will end. And then some will be crying again that they've missed the train. It happens all the time.

However: this is speculation, not financial advice.

Of course, although it holds not much of value (since it's speculation), it's nice to have such things coming from a "Bloomberg Senior Analyst" (although I don't care much of such a title, I expect some do).

Hahaha yes! That Bloomberg Senior Analyst must have been zooming the chart out to the maximum recently, and have just discovered the "HODLer's Secret". Simply shutting all the market noise off, and have conviction in a low time preference Bitcoin investment. Another HODLer's secret is, store ALL of your coins for HODLing in cold storage to help you resist/kill the temptation of selling. Cool
2238  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC make a new high in 2022? If not then what will be peak point? on: August 08, 2022, 09:28:37 AM
The great whales know very well when to act to buy bitcoin when the price drops drastically, especially when it fell to $17k yesterday. They were very happy to see the price could go down yesterday because they got a great opportunity to repurchase more bitcoins.

It's probably because it was those same "great whales", or shall we say "the whalecumulators", who manipulated the price to go to a cycle low of $17,000. Cool

Quote

Higher increases will occur again in the future, perhaps before the end of the year, next year, or even a few years. But clearly, those who were able to buy bitcoin at the price of $17k yesterday are really waiting for the moment to increase the price of bitcoin again. We should also be able to buy bitcoin when the price drops again and I think we will get more opportunities from the ups and downs of the price.

It's a cycle, and crashes again come after price surges during bull cycles. That's why it's probably better to buy the DIP, and HODL than DCA because Bitcoin's halving-influenced 4-year market cycles. DCA is better for more unpredictable markets.
2239  Economy / Economics / Re: Surprisingly, Elon's Tesla is not so keen on hodling BTC anymore on: August 08, 2022, 05:25:12 AM
Not surprised by the steps he took because this action is almost the same as the steps of everyone who has a lot of bitcoins, namely taking profits, he should even do it when the price is still higher than he sells these bitcoins, especially as an entrepreneur he will be profit-oriented and maybe cash becomes the reason he ended up selling bitcoin.
Tesla bought bitcoin last January when it was priced between $30,000 and $35,000 and sold it for $29,000. That is, one and a half billion dollars were in bitcoins for more than a year, after which they were sold at a decent loss for the company. To take such a step, you need to have information either that bitcoin will continue to fall in price for a long time, or that the crypto winter will last for a very long time, and therefore it is unprofitable to keep such an amount idle.
But it is still difficult to understand their contradictory and illogical actions with bitcoins.
Are we sure those are the numbers? I am not sure if they were, but if they were then it was a close call for them. I mean buying at 30k-35k is understandable because it was there last year, but we haven't been 29k for a long time, but if they publicly release these information that means they got out a lot earlier than they let us know.

People should see this, we haven't been 29k, and if you are telling that they released it and it was actually 29k, then they must have sold a lot earlier and only notified the world now. Which is manipulation but since it is not stock manipulation, I am sure that SEC would probably not do anything about it and let the crypto people take the hit.

I believe companies listed in the stock market are required to report their market investments, but it doesn't mean they should report it on the day they made the move. I think they have a required schedule when they should be filing to the SEC, then reporting what they did for the quarter.

2240  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC make a new high in 2022? If not then what will be peak point? on: August 08, 2022, 05:06:05 AM
OP, it's not important "what price" Bitcoin might go, or how high it might surge. But it's very important to buy Bitcoin DIPs as low as you possibly can. It's going to be better for your sanity, and better for your stomach, believe me. Most of us plebs won't like HODLing an investment with a big loss. It forces many plebs to sell to relieve them of the stress, and to "cure " the mental illness. My advice to resist the temptation of selling is, USE COLD STORAGE. Hahaha.
Right, short term we might not be looking for $50k threshold, we are still in the bear market so I doubt that we will have a break out run this year. We already find the support line above $20k, so this seems to be the movement that we are going to see in the next couple of months. So the best approach is to still buy and then simply be a HODLer.

Plus Bitcoin never stayed under its 200-Week SMA for a long time in its history of being traded, AND Pi Cycle has already indicated that the bottom for the current cycle has been reached. It has never been wrong before.

Quote

Nothing beats a strategy than that, continue to accumulate as much as you can in this current scenario, and put in in a wallet that you have total control.

There is the top 10% of active traders that do beat the market consistently in general, but if you're merely a pleb with neither the skills nor the capital, saving through HODLing is for you.
