If Chelsea lose at Fulham on Thursday it will be difficult for Potter to convince fans he is the right person for the job. If they then lose at home to Crystal Palace on Sunday the person laughing loudest has to be Tuchel who was dismissed from his job by the new owners in what appears to have been a massive error. Tuchel looked as though he had lost the dressing room but still could have turned things around. The new owners said Potter was a long term appointment and no matter what happened he would not be sacked this season.

The facts are this season Chelsea have been beaten in the Premier League and knocked out of the Carabao Cup and FA Cup by Manchester City and are (on current form) looking like they will finish the season in 8th or 9th position.

The two teams are very close to signing an agreement to fight in March or April 2023 and this will be a huge historic and international event when it finally
takes place. The winner of the Fury vs Usyk fight will be holding all the heavyweight belts and will be undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.

This is a free lottery which offers 1 in 58 chance of winning. The winner was supposed to receive $50 in Bitcoin plus $25 CRP and $25 UUSD at the time the fight ended but that has been changed to 0.0025 BTC (which is more than $50 at the current rate) but I have received a PM from a moderator advising me to not giveaway altcoins as I will be banned.

I am waiting for Utopia to advise me if they can giveaway $50 in BTC rather than CRP and UUSD then will update the thread, until then the prize will remain at c.$50 / 0.0025BTC (which will increase to if Utopia add it in BTC)

There are some other ways the fight could end which could increase the number beyond 58 but this is how I will operate the free lottery.

If you are interested in applying for a free number simply post a reply here with your BTC address. You will be given a number between 1-58 at random. If you want you can also ask for a number between 1-58 which I will try to give you on a first come first serve basis. In any case, the whole list will be published before the fight takes place and it will be updated periodically as members apply.

Generally it will be the first 58 members applying for a number that will be selected but I reserve the right to refuse applications. For example, if you are on my ignore list or if you are a troll or attention-seeker or simply an obnoxious presence in the forum or in my opinion untrustworthy or if you are someone promoting scams, I reserve the right to refuse applications. In the spirit of fun and light entertainment, there is a small chance you could be allocated a number but in retrospect (but before the fight takes place) you could have your number revoked and allocated to another member but that is only if you happened to be someone who I allowed to participate by error without checking post history or because you have subsequently made comments that are unacceptable to the myself or the majority of members.

This is a free lottery is open to all ranks. I am even willing to allow some newbies to apply. If you have received negative trust (but not from me) you can apply and your application will be looked at and a decision made after that.

The 58 options are self-explanatory but in the highly unlikely event there is a dispute between members about who won the free lottery or if clarification is needed about the outcome, then I will make a statement via a post to explain my final decision.

i) The prize fund payout has been changed to reflect BTC price only. Instead of paying the winner $50 at the time of the fight taking place, there will be a fixed 0.0025 BTC payout instead and that equates to $52.20 at the time of writing. This will be sent directly from me to the winner.

ii) The prize was increased thanks to Utopia adding $50 to the prize fund and thank you to them for sponsoring this thread but as they offered in CRP and UUSD it had to be withdrawn from this thread as Games and Rounds cannot give away altcoins. This section will be updated as soon as possible.

This post should act as a reminder to those that are promoting 1xbit, that there have been a huge number of scam allegations against them and forum members should refrain from joining their signature campaigns at least until (or unless) they start resolving the scam accusations against them. The result of the day has to be Stevenage beating Aston Villa after coming from a goal down scoring two goals in the final two minutes of the game. The League Two club have caused a major shock but this is the magic of the FA Cup, smaller clubs can occasionally beat the much bigger clubs.

Well, Chelsea are in big trouble when it comes to the Premier League. There is no real chance of them finishing in the top four this season therefore they will not play Champions League next season. On merit alone, Manchester City,  Arsenal, Newcastle United and Manchester United deserve to finish in the top four but as the season goes on that could change.

As for their game today, Manchester City absolutely took them apart and exposed their weaknesses with a convincing 4-0 win. Even though Manchester City put out  a weakened team, Chelsea tried to field a team as strong as possible because they have to try to win any domestic cup they can. Chelsea are out of the competition and they continue to have a miserable season. Potter is the wrong man to be their manager or coach.

Anybody using an army of shills to promote their campaign and bump their threads will make them stand out like a sore thumb. The downside to it is what you stated about those shills being dedicated to 1xbit because they would not be selected by other campaign managers.

It is a massive mess. Sam Bankman-Fried pleaded not guilty in his recent court appearance in Manhattan but federal prosecutors have charged him with eight different criminal charges which could bring 115 years in prison if found guilty.

Current FTX CEO John Ray has said he will try to identify and clawback every investment made using customer funds. To me that basically means it includes every one of the donations it made to over 110 entities and includes all the investments in made over the years. There is a lack of clarity of those donations and investments came from the company (FTX) or from customer holdings.

You cited perfect examples of lobbying. I am not sure what Sam Bankman-Fried wanted to do by donating to a political party but he did share a stage with ex-president Clinton and got his 15 minutes of fame from that event. I think he got carried away living in a bubble knowing what was going on outside but preferred to live inside imagining it was all going to be alright.

This the part that will be interesting to unfold. The 90 days prior to filing bankruptcy protection does not technically cover anything beyond 91 days but for the sake of avoiding negative publicity charities and politicians will probably be rushing to return donations.

I might have this wrong but what seems to be happening here is the new FTX CEO is trying to allege all investments and donations that were made via any money that originated from the FTX exchange were from customer funds and not from the company profits therefore they should be returned even if they were 2+ years old.

This will be a time consuming process for the investigators and a very painful one for investors. When you look at how long has the Cryptopia situation been going without a final resolution, you can get an indication this will go on for a very long time too.

The most valuable asset that did not go bankrupt after receiving investment from FTX was Robinhood and that is being dragged in to the bankruptcy proceedings too. The $500+ million investment from Bankman-Fried and ownership of shares purchased is being contested by various parties including BlockFi.

Another update: According to cointelegraph, FTX made over $160 million in donations to over 110 charities and not-for-profit organisations and now those donations could be returned.

According to reports, Sam Bankman-Fried was the second largest CEO donor to the Biden presidential campaign in 2020 with $5.2 million. Imagine the Democratic Party or the Biden Camp being asked by FTX creditors (and backed by the criminal investigation team) for their $5.2 million in questionable donations to be returned. What will their response be?

The way Wolves were playing they deserved to get at least a draw from the game and maybe could have edged it to deserve a win. Though neither team wanted a replay that is what will happen because unlike last season the games will revert to replays and then extra-time and penalties if necessary. I preferred the previous format last season where domestic cup games were decided on the day rather than replays because it adds to an already congested fixture list.

Liverpool will have to travel to Wolverhampton (for the replay) and then winner will move in to the 4th round of the tournament.

Kepa probably had a bad day at the office (so to speak) because he has done fairly well when he has been asked to cover when Mendy did not play. Apart from the missed cross against Manchester City, he has been playing well. Just look at what De Gea did for Manchester United when they played Everton in the FA Cup yesterday, the ball went through his legs in a way that was shambolic and not acceptable for a Premier League goalkeeper. These things can happen to the best from time to time.

In my opinion Chelsea might have put a run together to make a late chase for a top four finish if they had Tuchel as manager but Potter simply is way out of his depth. The club is far too big for a manager such as Potter who is basically unproven at the highest level. You cannot count his time as Brighton and Hove Albion manager as a success though he did well with limited resources.

As for Liverpool, maybe it is a dip in form of Salah combined with missing the technical play and driving force of Mane that has contributed to Liverpool falling in to a miserable decline.

Absolutely right, it was a narrow but vital win for Manchester City in order to keep the pressure on Arsenal. Whatever the Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa was doing cost them a goal and with it at least a point. It seemed like it was ahead of him and he misjudged it but in the end they lost the game and are 10 points plus goal difference from 4th place.

Saying Chelsea and Liverpool are having a bad season (as true as it is), is an understatement. Both clubs were expected to deliver more. If they both miss out on Champions League next season they only have themselves to blame. At the start of the season who would have thought Manchester United, Newcastle United and Arsenal would be joining Manchester City in the top four at the expense of Chelsea and Liverpool?
