It shows how much depth the Manchester City team have when they get booed at half-time by their own fans but return for the second half and effectively dominate against Tottenham. Guardiola must have given a passionate team talk trying to get his team to increase their level.

Now they must be hoping Arsenal lose to Manchester United so they stay just 5 points behind Arsenal. If Manchester United beat Arsenal it will mean Arsenal stay first on 47 points but both Manchester teams will have 42 points and be second and third in the table. It is turning out to be an exciting season especially watching Newcastle United join the chase.

Maybe Tottenham can be added to the chasing pack but they have disappointed recently. Conte will only stay if he receives funds to buy the players he wants but will it happen while Levy is chairman? If the rumours are true about a possible takeover then at least the new buyers will pour funds in to the team therefore Conte might be waiting around before deciding to quit.

Lol I didn't watch the first half, but I was surprised to see Tottenham leading by 2:0; they've been terrible after the world cup break, and I knew their luck wouldn't last long. Whatever Pep told his boys at halftime must be studied because this type of comeback does not happen very often. I don't see Conte staying  beyond this season, as the club has not made significant investments to improve the team

Arsenal fans can continue to fantasize while it lasts; it's only a matter of time before we find out who the true contenders and pretenders are. I'm hoping Manutd can make the job easier this weekend; Arsenal fans have recently become too loud.

Tuchel is seen as a candidate to take Conte's place in case of a sacking. But I don't think he would be the only one for the job. I remember the quarrelling between Conte and Tuchel when Tuchel was still Chelsea's manager. But I don't think it would be a hindrance for Tuchel to take the job at Tottenham. It was only between them in the end.

By the way the Manchester City vs Tottenham match was definitely amazing. That comeback isn't forgettable. Scoring three goals in such a short time period was impressive to watch. I believe Tottenham absolutely did their best in this but couldn't prevent this comeback at the end. Mahrez was one of the best players of the day.

I had no idea why he was booed off at halftime. I understand that the fans were frustrated after losing 2:0 to Tottenham while having one of the best creators on the bench. They have also been complaining about his constant team rotation, which has already seen them eliminated from the league cup this season. However, this does not justify booing the team or the coach. It reminds me a lot of Real Madrid fans.

Conte will only stay if he receives funds to buy the players he wants but will it happen while Levy is chairman? If the rumours are true about a possible takeover then at least the new buyers will pour funds in to the team therefore Conte might be waiting around before deciding to quit.

Why are almost all of the Epl clubs undergoing secret takeovers right now? Levy is English, and they are terrible at running a club; however, I haven't heard anything about a Spurs takeover. With everything that is going on, I doubt they will be able to persuade Harry Kane to stay beyond this season.

It doesn't matter; Mourinho was there not long ago, and now Conte, so I don't see any issues with Tuchel managing Tottenham. If Conte decides to leave at the end of the season, he is the preferred candidate.

@CLS63 Tuchel would be a fantastic coach for Tottenham, but he would demand lots of funds to buy the player’s he wants and one way to get those funds is by selling Kane hence Tottenham can convince him to come. Also what about Poch wouldn’t he be interested to return, and if he comes back to Tottenham then I believe that Kane can be persuaded to stay back at the club.

I think Chelsea will win in the midday kick-off at Anfield because Liverpool are just as much vulnerable as they are but the Chelsea players seem to have more hunger. If Liverpool win can Potter carry on as though it is fine because he is guaranteed his job or will a defeat for Klopp mean his replacement is being talked about?

Elsewhere, I expect West Ham United to beat Everton (and Lampard might be sacked following the game) and also expect Newcastle United to get a draw at Crystal Palace.

9 wins in a row now for the United team. I think they owe the successes mainly to the new trainer, who dared not to put Ronaldo in the starting line-up and thus managed to force a transfer. It was a gamble, if it had gone any worse after that, he would have had all the criticism. Perhaps Ten Hag is not a big personality, but he has a clear vision with football and he was also very successful at Ajax. He brings out the best in players at this club. I hope United can continue their winning streak and keep up with Arsenal in the long run. They are quite a few points ahead, but United are in absolute top form. The same does not apply to Liverpool. How City stands now is difficult to sketch. Also lose a lot of points. I would have thought that they would be even stronger and more dominant this season with the presence of Haaland.

Yes all credit to Erik ten hag for the winning mentality and discipline brought back to the team again, seeing this Manchester United team play again gives me joy because the days Manchester United played good football with this winning mentality was interesting but long gone ... I wasn't really happy about how he managed the Whole RONALDO saga but the most important thing is the team are heading in the right direction, and that is because of his zero tolerance to indiscipline. Let's watch to see how strongly they finish this season because there is still a long way to go in the league.

I’m not following Premier League that much but i like to watch Manchester City matches often especially when my national player Riyad Mahrez plays as the last match against Tottenham when they received 2 goals in one minute just before first hald ends knowing that City were playing much better, But in first half we could see that Mahrez was so locked by two Tottenham defenders every time he gets the ball. Pep Guardiola understood what Tottenham were doing so he asked his team to attack from their left side so they push all defenders into the left side and leave Mahrez completely free as we could see in the second half where they could reverse the result to 4-2 and win the match.
I think Pep really should make Mahrez play more often and trust him, he is a great player in scoring and making goals as well last match he was the one that lead Manchester city to win

I agreed with you because one of the team was to win the game to occupy either the 4th or... But personally, I was expecting Liverpool to win the match and football is something that can turn one's prediction down. And many other people also predicted Liverpool to win and some predicted Chelsea to win but all is no avail. Mudryk really tried in the match, he was like the man of the match.

BTW, I wasn't expecting much from this game because our midfield is still in shambles and our attack is still toothless because our midfield isn't working. I expected Liverpool to do better than us, but I was surprised to see that we were even better. Both teams have a lot in common ( injuries)

The only bright spot in that game was Mudryk, who has a lot of potential but will need a good creative midfielder who can put him up to 1-v-1 situations, which is something Chelsea is currently lacking. I can't wait to see how he plays when the rest of the team returns.

Everton suffered another loss therefore their manager Lampard will probably not be able to keep his job much longer. Well done to Moyes at West Ham for winning the game after he was under immense pressure. Aston Villa have another impressive result at Southampton and so do Nottingham Forest at Bournemouth.

I don't know if Arsenal can win the league this season, but with the mentality changes in the last few years, Arsenal has drawn a very clear roadmap for clubs like themselves, especially manu. By changing their mentality in terms of game and management, they got rid of superstars with low sense of belonging and soulless, especially Özil and Auba, and instead turned to players with high ceiling and courage, such as Ramsdale, Odegaard, Saliba and Martinelli. In this way, they have taken a huge step towards being a team again. It was really not easy to reach this young and courageous team by getting rid of those soft and unaffiliated players. During this period, they searched a lot in terms of both the coach, the game and the transfer. Arsenal wrote one of the most beautiful restructuring stories of recent years, in my opinion, on the EPL scale. They did not buy superstars, but they transferred the football players to the level of superstars, and they remembered their forgotten identities. I think it would be appropriate for them to take this story to the next level by adding depth to the team rotations with potentials. I wish they hadn't lost Omari Hutchinson to Chelsea in the process.

Yeah, they gave him too many chances to save the team, but it just wasn't working, Lampard and Gerrard got carried away with the hype and got into the top league so early, Gerrard was doing well with Rangers, Lampard was doing well with Derby, but both got hyped by the English media. It's only been three years, and both of them have already ruined their careers. Everton has its own internal issues, but Lampard was not the right man for the job; 3 wins in 20 games is not enough, and they now need someone to start producing results if they are to avoid relegation.

@JollyGood to be honest I was puzzled as to why Everton were sticking with him, because he should have been sacked a while ago and I strongly feel that he needs to manage in a less competitive league and then come back to the premier league. Also whoever decides to become the next manager will have a tough task i.e. to prevent Everton from being relegated, and lastly restore the confidence back in Everton player’s.

He was promised he could leave then they reneged on their word and forced him to stay at Tottenham. They will never receive a £100m offer for him now but he should leave and try to win trophies and play in the Champions League for a few years before he retires.

Yes, I think Kane is one of the players with extraordinary playing skills. Even though he is getting old, his enthusiasm is still burning and he still wants a higher star career.
In fact, it is not a problem for every soccer player to have a pretty good career at the end of his nearly retired football career.
If Kane's game can still play as well as before I'm sure the move to a bigger team can bring him a career at the peak of retirement.

There was a discussion by Tottenham fans on television a couple of years ago with some saying they would understand if he left them to join a club in order to win trophies. Look at Shearer, what a goalscorer but he only ever won just one Premier League title with Blackburn when they spent excessively and bankrolled their way to become champions. I think he also played in the Newcastle United that the FA Cup final in 1999 when Manchester United won the treble.

Sometimes, a player has to move on to a bigger club in order to win trophies otherwise by the time they get to 30 years of age (like Kane) they are restricted in their choices as the list of number of teams wanting them becomes smaller.

Now that Chelsea has signed new players I think today match will be very tough, I think Chelsea will play with all there full squad because Fulham is also a very strong team and Fulham will not want to lose the match as well. But based on Chelsea has signed new players I believe Chelsea will win the match to night.
I already played Chelsea to win with $100 because it's just too sure.
But since Fulham lose there last match it will still not be easy for Chelsea to win Fulham will not want to lose today's match too, but Chelsea will still win the match to night.
