Bull run for ETH incoming. As the ETH foundation and devs start to push the news, expect investors with FOMO to rush in to pump the coin. I can already see top exchange announcing their upgrade cause of this kind of FOMO effect. The closest point of interest for The Merge is another upgrade called Bellatrix around Sep 6. Plan your investment accordingly. Latest announcement: https://blog.ethereum.org/2022/08/24/mainnet-merge-announcement/The question is, shouldn't everybody be starting to buy early now instead of waiting to get in at the last minute? I think ETH is going to go down after the merge imho. Maybe something kinda like buy the rumor, sell the news kind of scenario happening. The market just sucks right now and no amount of good news for ETH would take the price higher and stay higher. Imagine if the merge happened around late 2020. ETH to 10k easy in a couple of months imho.

^ Yup, it's not looking good. Lol.
There were 65% of voters who voted that BTC would trend up above 25k and stay there, 35% voted it won't. I feel like September's sentiment would be more bearish for most and it would be the right side. Dunno.. As I always say, we'll just have to see. All it takes is a couple of green, long, mega candles to flip everybody bullish again.

I know it's funny, but it doesn't mean Salah can't score a goal on the next match, I believe he's very hungry to score at least one goal since the previous match is not lucky for him. Salah was a top scorers on Liverpool for 3 years in a row and he's still on his shape, so I believe he would score a goal in this match. I know I know... I was just teasing and having a bit of fun. I picked Luis Diaz. It seems like he's finally finding his groove with that LFC squad just like Sterling is at Chelsea. Diaz style of play sometimes reminds be of Eden Hazard... The Chelsea Hazard not the Real Madrid one. Lol. Anyway, good luck with your picks for tonight's game guys.

Gane is just way better in all aspects of the game if compared with Tuivasa. But I'm not saying Tuivasa can't win. He can, esp with Gane having the tendency to dart in with his shots at times. It opens opportunities for Tuivasa to get in the clinch and do those elbows like he did to Lewis. But yeah... Pick is still Gane and I wouldn't be surprised if he finishes Tuivasa. Here's the Multi Master. UFC Fight Night 209 - Multi Master Challengehttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5411464.0Me aswell, even though there is a chance for Tai Tuivasa to win here, I will always give my pick for Cyril Gane, even in the fight against Francis Ngannou I have gone with Ciryl Gane, but if Tai Tuivasa changes the way he is doing things maybe there could be a chance that Tuivasa could win this, but Ciryl Gane got the experience in fighting guys like Tanner Boser, Junior dos Santos, Jairzinho Rozenstruik, Alexander Volkov, Derrick Lewis, and Francis Ngannou, so I think he can handle Tai Tuivasa easily, in my opinion, About Cyril Gane's loss vs Ngannou, you really can't fault the former for losing against the latter. Ngannou is a freak of nature and he got better after his own loss vs Miocic. If Dana White and the UFC play their cards right I think they have another great fighter in their hands. Anyway.. Looking at the event roster, I think it would be better if Whittaker vs Vettori be the main event. I'd rather see them go 5 rounds than Gane and Tuivasa. Match ups to watch are Imavov vs Buckley, Jourdain vs Wood and Whittaker vs Vettori.

Lolol. I know right?!? I didn't watch the match but when I saw the score at 9 - 0, I was so sure Salah scored at least one goal in. But no. And you're still picking again Salah tho. Lmao. Anyway here's my picks. And yes, I'm again feeling this is something extra special again. Zaha Trossard Sterling Rodrigo Neves Odegaard Luis Diaz *Singing* 'Oh I love that feeling when you feel like you're gonna win 10k... Yeah yeah'.

Some more stupid decisions from the clubs.
United bought Anthony from Ajax for 100M, looks quite ridiculous when you compare it to City that paid less than 80M for Haaland and Alvarez. Then you add Martinez transfer for another what was it 70M and I am thinking they are laughing their asses off in Ajax for their negotiations with United.
Scott Parker is the first sacked manager this season after 3 consequtive losses. Seems quite unfair when you take into account that he lost against City, Arsenal and Liverpool after winning against Villa. What did they expect in Bournemouth? 10 points from those first 4 games? Much stronger teams would have same points with maybe a bit better goal difference.
I know that trigger was historical 9:0 loss but I still belive it is a bit unfair to Parker. He had thoughest possible fixtures in those 3 game weeks.
Yup, totally unfair... But I guess what might have given Scott Parker the sack is how Bournemouth lost to Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool. It was 4 - 0, 0 - 3 and an embarassing 9 - 0 which, as you said, was what prolly got the club owners or whoever really frustrated. I was thinking the first to get the sack is Hasenhuttl since word was going around that he lost the dressing room. It's a shame if they do sack him. He's a good manager if given the right budget. He did pretty good with RB Leipzig imho.

From a betting perspective I'd avoid betting on the main event.. Even the props. There's just no value. And there's plenty of spots out there. Nathaniel Wood as the underdog being one. Wood via decision at 3.85 is worth more than Gane via decision. I mean Gane via dec looks good if the match is three rounds imho.
And Gane as a parlay piece would be at the top of my lottery ticket but do I really want to use him with low value after what just happened with Usman at 278...? :/
Well, when Ciryl Gane is always fighting it is surely natural the hype is on him and that the odds were for him, so pretty much I will be staying away from betting Ciryl Gane is still my pick but it is still a tempting bet for Tai Tuivasa because he can still deliver a win via 1 hit punch OK on Gane but I am not counting on it, I can still see the fight is going on Ciryl Gane's way, Gane is just way better in all aspects of the game if compared with Tuivasa. I said Demetrious Johnson is going to win this time, but this was spectacular KO win! If you didn't watch this One championship event you can watch lead card on youtube and main event that was strange mostly stand-up fight: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ae8ofcCYRuAExtra information: UFC fans knows about ref Herb Dean and he is going to work in ONE from now on. Yup! Good call... He made the right adjustments and had his strikes and leg kicks hitting the mark. The first fight it looked like DJ couldn't find the right distance. And after watching the match, you just have to wonder why did the UFC agree to trade DJ for Askren. It was def not a good deal in hindsight. Imagine if DJ was still in the mix at 125 in the UFC. He'd be going against Fig, Moreno, KKF and the rest of those guys. I watched both events and I found ONE FC 160 a lot better than ONE FC on Prime.

Ferrari had no chances today, and RBR with the new regulation imposed by FIA had no chances today.
Let's see if next GP they can fight or if FIA killed this championship.
But remember who wanted the new regulations tho and who was saying that changing regulations at the middle of the season is not good and sets something up that can be done again during the next seasons. It was Toto Wolff who wanted the new regulations, with him thinking it would prolly be advantageous with Mercedes. And who was against it? Christian Horner, the team principal of Red Bull. But ironically it looks like they might be faster because of it... Lol. Anyway, it looks like the season is over. It's Verstappen's season to lose and it also looks like we're witnessing greatness being born in F1.

^ Yup and the books also really think that they're on another level, they lined Verstappen the favorite to win at 2.75 with Sainz behind him at 3.05 then Perez at 4.00. It should be a very interesting race with lots of memes if Verstappen wins from behind... Anyway what do you guys think of Leclerc at 12.00? Seems like a nice value bet and worth a shot for a small bet. Leclerc showed he has some pace at Q2 too.

Remember tho that the match between them is a 5 rounder. I think Gane is gonna finish Tuivasa around the third or the fourth or something. Tuivasa is susceptible of getting finished in the past as his record shows. I'm not sure where the books have lined the over/under but if it's 2.5 and over is at plus money, I'd say over.
Anyway, I'm not really sure why the UFC decided to make Gane and Tuivasa the main event. Whitaker bs Vettori seems like it's a higher level match and the winner of the match could get a shot at the belt again.
Yeah, it's probably not the most probable outcome, but it will give a decent return I would expect. Actually, just looking at it; 2.75 for the fight to go the distance, which is rather low, I was expecting a little more given the history of these two, especially since Tai doesn't really defend all that well. 3.25 for a Gane decision looks somewhat enticing though. The only thing over 2.5 on my bookie is over 4.5. Under 3.5 at 1.72 though which isn't terrible if you're thinking he could get knocked out here. From a betting perspective I'd avoid betting on the main event.. Even the props. There's just no value. And there's plenty of spots out there. Nathaniel Wood as the underdog being one. ^ The car is ok as he didn't the barriers and he managed to get the car out of the gravel so that's good news.
And it looks like the Red Bulls have had a better upgrade than the Ferraris have. But we'll see for sure in quali. By the time they get to Q2, that's when we finally have an idea how fast the Ferraris are in this track. I'm still hopeful they're quick because it makes for a good race. Spa is one of the best tracks in F1 imho.
Anyway here are the results for FP3...

^ I forgot about Perez tbh. Lol. I know he's a good driver and all but sometimes I feel like he's a non factor for Red Bull. It'd be hard for the team to win the constructor's championship if he's inconsistent for the whole season. He was hired to keep his results close to Verstappen at every race, kinda like how Vettel and Webber were.
Anyway I didn't watch FP2 as I was watching ONE FC but here are the results. Stroll at got 4th? Did it rain or something?

Yeah FJ has been sporting the new lay out for a couple of months no I think.. Maybe even more. My picks for match day 4 are Haaland, Sterling, Salah, Jesus, Almiron, Watkins and Harry Kane. I feel extra good about this one. I really feel like 10k is going straight to my pocket... Exactly the same feeling I have every match day. Lol. And they had to use Milner because Ronaldo owns the rights of his own image and likeness. No one can use it without permission from his image and likeness ownership company or whatever they call it. So yeah, Milner it is

Lmao... Anybody watching ONE FC right now? This match between Elliott and Batur is great. Two ripped heavy weights and they're quick. Elliott knocked down Batur during the first few seconds of the match, like really dropped him but then the following shots kinda woke Batur up and on he went to win the match via ground and pound. The first match was good too. I think it's gonna be a decent event overall. Better than most Bellator events it looks like. The thing I don't really like about ONE is they include kick boxing, Muay Thai and grappling matches with MMA. Kinda annoying imho. Edit: Wooow... Event just finished. Both co main and the main event were absolute bangers.

I can't bet against Tai, and him being the underdog is always quite enticing with his recent rise to fame. The man is a star, even if his career will be somewhat short lived. The way he fights, basically makes his fights a coin toss, and I think Gane would know how to not get hit by him, since most of Tai's knockouts come from fighters just sitting in the pocket, and banging. Lewis found that out.
Gane will just look to touch him up, and then use his feet to get out of the way, and re-establish that distance. Tai will have to really work hard. I actually think that's how it's going to play out, and will probably be a rather boring fight. The value bet for me is it going the distance.
Remember tho that the match between them is a 5 rounder. I think Gane is gonna finish Tuivasa around the third or the fourth or something. Who fancies Hamilton to get the win at the Belgian GP? Leclerc and Verstappen are starting from the back of the grid and so are Ocon, Norris, Schumacher and Bottas for taking in new parts for their power units. I'm thinking Leclerc on pole, Verstappen could get the fastest lap at the race and Hamilton to win it... What do you guys think?
There isn't much threat on Hamilton imho except his team mate, Alonso and Sainz.
