There's a news Leicester City already announce Dean Smith as their head coach and he will replace Adam Sadler, this is quite controversial news because Dean Smith was previously drag Norwich City from Premier League to Championship, but he have a good record when he was managed Aston Villa where he make Aston Villa lead from Championship to Premier League.

He's still new, so we will not see a big change to Leicester City in this season, he only need to make Leicester City get eliminated since they're currently at delegation zone.

Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1645543849308180480

Seems to me like Leicester has given up chasing the upper midtable and has accepted placing wherever this group of players they currently have will take them.  I really thought Brendan Rodgers could take them higher at the table eventually.  And the club tried to stick with him too...  But to no avail.

Who are currently the best players in Leicester's squad?  Those players will be playing with another club for sure.  :/

Quarter final winners are Best (P), Mind (T), Hero (Z) and JyJ (T).  They go to the semis next week which is gonna be on April 17 and 18 at 6:00pm KST.

First match will be Best vs Mind then Hero vs JyJ the next day.  My picks to go to the finals are Best and JyJ...

This season's Round of 16 and quarter finals were really great.  Tier B and C players were leveling up their game and were playing outside of the meta, surprising the A Tier guys.  None of the players in the semis are Tier A.  Wink

Anyway here's the updated bracket.

Sportsbet.io - UFC on ESPN 44 - Multi Master Challenge (time sensitive)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5448298.0

Join up guys, it's fun and it's free.  Not a bad idea to get your picks in and have a chance to win some free money.  As a parlay degen like myself, it's good practice on the side.

Years ago, when Alex Pereira knocked out Izzy in their kickboxing match, his son taunted Izzy by falling down on the ring, showing making a parody of a knockout. Yesterday Izzy payed him back, by doing the same taunt.

Here is the article that about that case https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/21990164/israel-adesanya-alex-pereira-son-ko-ufc-287-celebration/ + https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6kjrSHSBTA. There is a video also, where Pereira kids were crying after KO and that performance.

People have divided into two categories. First - they said that they are kids and it is unfair taunt them like that. Second - kids must learn their lesson. They taunted Izzy first, and now got paid back.

I support second category. Behave properly and you dont have to regret something in the future. There are lots of things how to celebrate a victory. Laughing over knocked out guy isnt good.
Yeah, that was a very bad behavior from that kick and I hope that kid received a lesson from his parents to not act like that but I don't think that would actually happen.
By the way, that gesture from Adesanya was a very childish, not something a serious man does. Revenge against kid? Cmon, you are a full grown adult, your revenge is to kick his father's ass, that's where you finish your job. He took a kid's gesture seriously and said that he wanted to kick his ass, cmon, even Conor Mcgregor or Dana White wouldn't do that for money Cheesy

Childish, but Adesanya is a little bit childish Cheesy All that anime, video games, break dancing and other stuff. I would not call it a revenge, he has only repaid that kid with his own coin. The kid learned his bitter lesson I would say. Call it karma or boomerang. The kid made fun on him, and now he has made fun of that kid. It would be wrong if he would start bullying, threatening and etc. But Adesanya answered that kid on his (kid) language. That is what a full grown adult should do - get on the same level with that kid and prove that he was wrong.

People should just let it slide...  It's somewhat of a spur of the moment thing when a guy who just won the most important fight of his life just acts all excited.  And pretty sure he still had adrenaline pumping.  Lol.

Anyway, dropping a couple of vids to watch before the event.  Enjoy...

Ah kk..  Yeah pretty sure ARB would be at least 3x from where it's currently at rn with the right market conditions or with more  bullish sentiment.  I feel like everybody is bullish now but more like the cautiously bullish feeling than the all out and ready to ape bullish.  It could he the right time to commit tho while everybody is cautious and be one of the first to take advantage.

Dunno...  After the shenanigans, it's making it hard to make a move.

^  Does getting 5 - 6 picks right don't win free bets anymore?  It's 10k or bust now?

^ Yeah same, started well with Salah and Mitoma on the scoresheet but Jesus returned and Saka didn't score, not even Zaha or Wood could do it in a game with many goals. So getting Almiron and DCL won't help me.

My best record was 5 and 6 back when freebets were given out in BTC. I turned them into lovely wins during Champions League, long accas with plenty of Liverpool (en route to final). Those are good memories =)

OMG, those are amazing records, mate. Congrats! And you turned them into wins? Those are good memories , indeed. Smiley

Have you guys played Blood & Shadow? It's trending on FortuneJack platform right now, and for a reason. To me it's like an upgraded version of Book of Shadows by the same provider, Nolimit City. If you love that slot, you'll love this one too. Just look at some pics from it:

Also, it was a pretty good win out of my 20 cents bets, I'd say. Smiley

^  That sht's scary bro.  Lol.  What's the sound like when you play?  I hope it's not something you don't wanna play alone in your room at midnight.  Cheesy  You know..  as a kid I used to play Diablo II.  And there are some parts of the game that made me turn on the lights and play on until day time because sleeping alone in my room at the time isn't an option anymore.
1309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: April 10, 2023, 12:27:10 PM
my predictions for some of today's fights, I still don't know if I'll make multibet or single bets, but looking at the odds values, a multibet bet would be more advantageous

Alex Pereira - Israel Adesanya

perreira who since entering MMA has only lost once and then had 7 wins, he comes to this fight very motivated because in a previous fight he beat Adesanya, although past data are no guarantees that in the future things will turn out the same way , but in this case of this fight if Adesanya is fighting for revenge and fear of losing then at some point he will be mentally unbalanced and pear will be able to take advantage of that to attack and win this fight, the bookmakers are giving advantage to Adesanya, but the difference in odds between the two fighters is not very big, which means that a very balanced fight is foreseen and with only a small advantage of Adesanya on paper

Raul Rosas Jr - Christian Rodriguez

Raul Rosas Jr is a very young fighter in terms of age, he is only 18 years old, and has little time as a professional athlete, but of the 7 fights he had as a professional athlete he won all the fights, while his opponent Christian Rodriguez he is 25 years old and has 9 fights in which he won 8 and lost a fight, looking at these data we realize that the two fighters do not have big differences, but I think that Raul Rosas is younger and even if he has fewer fights than his opponent, Raul Rosas won this fight

In hindsight with Rosas just being at 18 years old, it should ave given us pause and ask if the guy is really legit.  It was different during the time when Jon Jones rose the ranks.  The fighters weren't as well rounded and as sharp as the fighters are today...  Even to low - mid tier ones.  Just something to keep in mind before making a bet.

Anyway, I'm down bad bros.  I'm not sure when I last won a UFC event.  Lolol.  :/  Nice to see Adesanya win tho.  That at least makes 185 a tad interesting as it could be a trilogy.
1310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Arbitrum Token Initial Price Speculation on: April 08, 2023, 02:15:12 PM
Not that huge of an amount imo.  And what I'm really surprised about is it didn't pump hard right off the bat.  I mean for a token that had a bit of clamor when the network was first launched, it didn't get the anticipated demand to pump it above 2 USD from the average listing price of 1.00 - 1.20 USD.  It's not even 2x that...

First of all, early investors are interested in pump ARB, but their coins are locked for 4 years. Accordingly, when their ARB unlock starts in a year, we should expect a pump of this coin. Anyway, I see this scenario every time with other new coins.

Dunno...  Wouldn't the effect of token unlocks be the opposite of a pump or are you saying there's a manipulated buy up, get the noobs in, then early investors dump?  For all those guys that are waiting for .50 USD per ARB, they could very may well get what they want.

I think the shenanigans the dev team did got the holders a little spooked.

Has anybody managed to crack the perfect 7 picks this season with so many being inconsistent strikers...

I highly doubt it, with top teams like Chelsea and Liverpool still struggling it will be difficult to predict, and could the no goal be added to the selection options to guaranteea a winner each gaming week.

Nope and no one has this season.  But the couple of seasons prior, there was always a winner who hit 7 picks early in the season.

And yeah, this season's goal scorers market is kinda harder to predict.  I never had a match day with more than 4 goal scorers predicted correctly.  But it's also prolly because I don't follow the EPL as closely as I used to.  :/

Anyway, here are my picks for match day 30:

Havertz
Kane
Barnes
Pereira
Watkins
Wilson
Jesus

Good luck guys!

Ferrari did an appeal to get the 5 seconds of the penalty to Sainz to be removed.

If they will win the appeal Sainz will be 4th again up from the 12th position.

It won't change much in the standings overall but the great news if it happens is that it will give a huge moral boost to Sainz which to be honest did a super drive in this last race and it was thrown away because of stewards and race direction.

It is a shame that China has suspended their race and that now we will have to wait until Azerbaijan race which is further away and I can't really wait that long for a F1 race honestly  Grin.

But it's something a team needs to do in order for the FIA or the whoever to second guess themselves before giving out penalties.  These things shouldn't just slide to the side without at least getting some scrutiny.  I think any team should always fight for an appeal if placed in the same spot.

And what's the news with China suspending their race?  Pretty sure it isn't about covid anymore and if they say that it is, it's prolly covering up for something else.
1313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: April 08, 2023, 01:51:20 PM
Once again, I'm worried for Izzy. However, I do think the pressure is largely off. He's already lost his belt, and now it's all about proving it to himself. He's definitely the better fighter in terms of technical fighting, but he seems to not be able to avoid the power of Alex Pereira. Honestly, odds of 1.70 for Izzy are nice, and the decision win for him is even nicer. So, I might put that on my betting slip just for fun, as I can see that happening. I don't see Izzy knocking out Alex, even though in the most recent fight he did stun Alex.

The thing is, I worry when Alex gets close, and closes the distance. As soon as he did that, Izzy was worried, and it only took a few seconds to get him out of there as soon as he managed to close the distance. I'm wondering whether Izzy has learned from that, and will put on more of a hit, and move sort of fight style this time around.

Here's my predictions:

Israel Adesanya by decision
Gilbert Burns by which ever way he wants
Adrian Yanez
Kevin Holland
Raul Rosas Jr.
Chris Curtis
Luana Pinheiro
Gerald Meerschaert
Lupita Godinez
Ignacio Bahamondes
Shayilan Nuerdanbieke
Jaqueline Amorim

Heard some words swirling around that Adesanya trained a lot in wrestling coming into the event.  I'm not sure if it's a wise move as Pereira is a huge heavy guy.  Adesanya will prolly gas himself out early if he tries to take Pereira down but won't take him on the ground.  He could use the wrestling late in the match tho and avoid having the R5 moment of the first fight happening again.  Lol.

1314  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: April 07, 2023, 01:01:43 PM
Well, FUD will always be around, mate. i just hope we don't find FUD like Gr1zzlyTrades said again.
There are many people who took advantage of these FUD to make some quick profits but on the other side small players get panicked and face loss by selling but we should do our research without believing on the rumours. But now the matter is resolved by Rollbit but in future also people can target them to defame the image but they are working on these small things always.

Like any other coin or token that went up by more than 10x, there are good traders and there are bad traders why play the move.  For every bad trader that lost money and who's spreading FUD, there's a good trader who's quietly counting their winnings.  And you can't really expect RLB to continue going up after such a huge move from Jan to Feb.  It made around 40x in around a month!  It has to come down sooner or later.  Even the great BTC wouldn't hold a pump like that.
1315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for the Next Great 1000x on: April 07, 2023, 12:48:21 PM
it is very difficult to find a coin that can pump up to 100X, but it is not uncommon for many people to get it, luck is on their side to get multiple profits. if we really invest in a certain coin and always monitor it, then a 10X increase will already have an urge from the heart to sell it, at least will sell a small portion of the assets that are owned. until it reaches 100X, there are very few assets left, as they were sold earlier

Yup, very difficult.  And no one said it would be easy either.  But as I've already said itt...  You could narrow it down into a criteria for which coins and tokens could be the next great 1000x.  One of the top criterias is a somewhat new coin with a very low market cap.  Preferably under a million.  Another important criteria is it must not be listed in the top exchanges yet.  Being already listed in a top exchange will make the coin have one less opportunity of getting a huge pump.  If you guys noticed, it was the Binance listing that gave SHIB the last leg to 1000x.  Could be more.
1316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Arb below 1$ on: April 07, 2023, 12:32:05 PM
...But forget about me arbitrum is over $1 and I think in the next altseason this coin have potential to even rose more for now Many people might sell their portion but the price is still stable at one dollar

This is not surprising, since the market is now in the sideways. There is no doubt that ARB has a high potential, but if we look around, we will see a lot more promising coins, the price of which will also increase on a bullish trend. Many airdrop recipients sold ARB without regret, investing in other coins and gifts for themselves.

'A lot more promising' in what sense?  As an investment or as a project?  I think Arbitrum is way ahead vs a lot of other L2 projects and could end up with the third highest in network volume just behind Ethereum and BNB.  But as an investment, I would have to agree.  If ARB could go 10x there are other projects that could go way more than that...  I still think the next great 1000x would be a memecoin of some sort.  With something like a DOGE logo.  Cheesy

Crypto has taught me that scams and ponzus pump the hardest.
1317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023 on: April 07, 2023, 12:25:09 PM
These are the games taking place this weekend:

Saturday 8th April 2023
Manchester United vs Everton
Aston Villa vs Nottingham Forest
Brentford vs Newcastle United
Fulham vs West Ham United
Leicester City vs Bournemouth
Tottenham Hotspur vs Brighton and Hove Albion
Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Chelsea
Southampton vs Manchester City

Sunday 9th April 2023
Leeds United vs Crystal Palace
Liverpool vs Arsenal

If Manchester City manage to beat bottom of the table Southampton on Saturday they will close the gap back down to just 5 points and all the pressure will be on Arsenal to beat Liverpool at Anfield. There is a big game to play between relegation candidates Leicester City and Bournemouth.

@JollyGood I expect Liverpool to put up a strong show, because they have more to lose if they don’t beat Arsenal hence my prediction is that Liverpool will win. Also between City and Southampton picking City is an easy choice, but considering that Southampton also desperately needs those 3 points I won’t be surprised if they’re able to stun City by defeating them.

Liverpool tends to play well vs better competition at times this season.  They did it vs Man United and a couple of other big clubs when everyone started to think they'd be losing again.  I'm not really sure if they'd be able to do a thrashing vs Arsenal as the Gunners have been playing well this season but then again the match is at Anfield...  Could be a close one going back and forth with the home side emerging as the winner.

Draw no bet for Liverpool at 2.02 is a decent line imho.
1318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: April 07, 2023, 12:13:33 PM
Well, you are right if UFC fighters will surely keep on losing to boxers then that is not a great image for the company
Let boxers fight in octagon with MMA or mixed rules, and we see who wins then.
No boxer will want to get humiliated by fighting with MMA rules and hence you wont see anyone after the James Toney disaster who was a decorated boxer with championships in multiple division fought Randy Couture and got finished in the first round.

Two world class boxers that would fair in MMA is Vasiliy Lomachenko and Terence Crawford who have legit high level wrestling background.

Yeah sure...  But I wonder how they'd handle kicks to the legs.  :/  Especially those Gaethje style leg kicks.  I don't think they'd be able to handle a couple of rounds of those.  There's also the grappling aspect.

That's why I hate MMA fighters try and make transition into boxing and get ridiculed if they lost.  It's mostly just a dog and pony show.  Why don't the best in boxing get into MMA.

Anyway, does anybody else think Adesanya is gonna retire if he loses again?
1319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Arb below 1$ on: April 06, 2023, 03:20:33 PM
well congratulation to you bro I missed everything from uniswap, aptos, arb everything  Cry damn retroactive is kinda hard to figure it out.

But forget about me arbitrum is over $1 and I think in the next altseason this coin have potential to even rose more for now Many people might sell their portion but the price is still stable at one dollar

Just got lucky bro...  I never really expected an airdrop as I was just trying stuff out at Arbitrum.  But I did participate in the Odyssey thing and got the NFT.  But it was really nothing.  Most of my volume was losing most of my money in options at Dopex.  Cheesy  Then lo and behold I made enough volume in Arbitrum to get 5000 ARB tokens.

But if you want in on a potentially decent airdrop, I'd say start getting in some volume with Arbitrum, Stargate Finance, Radiant Capital and Rage Trade combo and try to be eligible in Layer Zero's airdrop.

You could bridge ETH and USDC to Arbitrum through Stargate Finance.  Deposit at Radiant Capital, then borrow against your deposit.  Use what you borrowed to deposit in Rage Trade and trade the perp exchange.  If you could get more than 10k USD of volume in, you might be eligible for an airdrop.  Rage Trade is prolly going to have its own airdrop too, so that's hitting a couple ones.
1320  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for April on: April 06, 2023, 03:05:07 PM
I believe that the price is moving against trends, and therefore as long as there is optimism, the price may not move in the same direction.

But given the options of the poll, it's the just "bullish" option that's getting all the votes, not the super bullish one or the super duper bullish one.  :/  Does that mean the sentiment is still kinda bearish even if it's bullish?  Grin  If so and given in accordance to your condition that price moves against trends, then the price would be moving up again sooner or later.  Lolol.

Seriously tho, BTC is in a bit of a rut.  But nothing too bad.  Just shorts taking shots at the market.
