1321  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit Casino loosing value due to Licensing Ambiguity amongst users on: April 06, 2023, 02:49:56 PM
They have already solved the issue but for me also it was not a problem as the team has responded to the matter in thread while giving assurance to the community they will renew it shortly. After few changes in NFT they have acquired back the licence which is good on the part so community has gain trust on them.

I don't think there was really much of a problem at all to begin with.  And as said, it was prolly just the Curacao Gaming Control Board finding something offered at Rollbit that's outside of the scope of the license, thus taking it a wee while to renew the license.  No one is getting scammed, no one is having their money being taken from them.  It's just a standard procedure but with a hiccup and a delay.  That's all.

And it's funny how the news from Coindesk made it all look like something really bad was going on.  These fkn journos are the worst.

^  Sorry to say this but it still wouldn't be good enough against Red Bull.  They're just ahead in car development at this point.  But wishing both Mercedes and Ferrari get their sht together and be more competitive by the time we're at the European GP's.

I'm more curious about how the Aston Martins would do on a track with lots of straights.  Half hoping Alonso could snag the second spot at the podium.

^  Yup Rosas is something special but his opponent this coming weekend is kinda decent tho.  If Rosas couldn't finish the match early it could get dicey for him.  But then again it's a good thing as we could see how he is in the cage beyond 1.5 rounds.

These two guys looks rather familiar Cheesy Hard to know who Volkanovski was cosplaying, but Whittaker is pure Hulk Hogan Cheesy

I'm pretty sure Volk is dressing up as Andre the Giant.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Anyway here's my lottery ticket for 287.

Burns - Rosas
Add:  Godinez - Pereira
Add:  Bahamondes - Curtis
Add:  Yanez - Ponz
Add:  Shayilan - Meerschaert
Add:  Waterson - Hughes
Add:  Sherman

Good luck to all your bets!

Start looking up those 'Inu' meme coins and tokens guys.  Elon Musk made the DOGE logo the logo of the home button for Twitter!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Not sure how long it will last but knowing how crazy the crypto market is for these things, expect any DOGE and INU related coins or tokens to start trending up soon.  I take it as a sign that Elon Musk hasn't left us!
1325  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for April on: April 04, 2023, 05:07:06 PM
Next stop 30k - 32k range.  That's double the price of where it was during the lows of November.  Leeez gooo!

Lol, loving the poll this time. No option for bearish  Grin

I think you're expectations are quite accurate. Even some bears who are expecting sub $15K after anticipating a move to $30 to $23K before further downside, which says a lot.

Personally I "only" voted bullish, as opposed to super/uber bullish, as notably this year so far we have seen a substantial gain in Jan, followed by consolidation in Feb, followed by a another considerable gain in Mar. So while I think it's likely to re-test $30K level that was previous support, I also expect it is likely to act as some form of resistance (at least initially) leading to more of a consolidation style month similar to February.

Rofl yeah, nope, no bearish options this time.  Cheesy

And asking for a sub 15k move now is just a pipe dream at this point in the game.  Something reeeaally bad has to happen somewhere to spook the whole market out in a yuuuge way.  Like how the pandemic happened and brought everything down.  I'm not discounting anything but with the way things are, everything is looking good.  So far...
1326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Arb below 1$ on: April 04, 2023, 04:45:10 PM
It could be if holds with the current support price right now. In every airdrop it really cause a break down of the price for everyone are selling after they get their airdrop respectively. So, it is better to sell it and wait for more dump before buying it. So currently 1.22$ is the current price but it could down a little more, just set your buy order below your price target and see it happens.
Yes most of the users already sold after claiming free Airdrop but still many users holding half if their token for better price. Arbitrum dex volume is very close to ETHEREUM and some days ago its almost flipped Ethereum which indicates that arbitrum chain is using by big community. This will also bring positive effect to Arb price.

Hackers who stealed more than 50000$ worth if token from different wallets are still holding Arb tokens and he can anytime sell these which can dump Arb price Below 1$ and this will be chance for people like me to take entry.

That's more like most of those users who aren't whales and those guys who gamed the airdrop sold their tokens to the whales and those people who are more likely to hold ARB for at least a year or so.  Dunno..  But after the ARB Foundation's shenanigans, it seems like the community is willing to look the other way to avoid risking their bags value from going any lower.  Lol.  I mean of course...  It's all about number go up in this game.  :/

Still holding my airdrop and not selling until 5 USD or something.  I'm trying to treat it like no airdrop happened.  Lol.

^  Before seeing how easy Jones finished Gane, I was strongly thinking Ngannou could winamd even knock Jones out.  But know, dunno...  It could be a harder match for Ngannou than I thought.  I wish the UFC could offer Ngannou 10m USD per match for three matches to tempt him back.  I think that's more than most fighters got offered in MMA.

Even though Dana White said that he would never accept Ngannou back, yesterday news give a tiny chance for Ngannou to return.

UFC is now merged with WWE. Wrestling organization has a lot of money and they really can offer Ngannou as much money as he want. So one day we might have Ngannou having a wrestling match Cheesy

For those who have missed the news: World Wrestling Entertainment is merging with Endeavor Group, the parent company of competitor UFC, to form a new publicly traded company. So far I dont know what will UFC get from that merge. More tv broadcast time? New fans? Lesnar 2.0 ? Cheesy

Oh wow...  That's a huge deal.  That cements the UFC's position as the pinnacle for all promotion of MMA in the world.  And yeah, now with all the revenue coming in the company, they prolly will have some leeway for Ngannou to come back.  Not saying the UFC's offer of 8m USD per fight isn't huge.

I really wish Dana White could be in favor of Francis Ngannou and subdue to what he likes to give him his freedom in what he wants I think that is not hard enough he has given a boxing match to McGregor I think Dana White can make an exception and I think there could be more privilege for being the champion and not just being in the octagon is not that hard in my opinion, if only Francis Ngannou and Dana White could agree to the terms, if the people would want that why not give it,

Dana White and the UFC went thru the hoops to get and support McGregor in his foray into boxing.  But the thing is if the UFC fighter lost in a boxing match it diminishes the UFC fighter's stock and in a way it also diminishes the UFC as a brand.  So after McGregor vs Mayweather, the UFC isn't having more boxing matches involving fighters from their roster.

Anyway, here's the Multi Master.

Looks like I got the yellow cap for this weekend. First time when this happens and even if my picks were on point , it was still a very controversial race that will continue to spark discussion until next race.

I also think that Hamilton got a fair wheel to wheel battle with Max and there are no reasons for him to start and trow words here and there about Hamilton and Fia ...because he is the last guy who can talk about regulation and rules. Grin

Congrats.  I really thought I got this race close to a tee.  I'm not sure what happened towards the end as I wasn't able to finish the race.  I left for a while during the red flag at the start of the race the when I came back I saw Russell's car was burning.  Lol.  After a couple of minutes or so I had to leave.

How did the McLarens, Tsunoda and Zhou creep up the grid?  And how did Sainz drop to 12?  Wtf.

Can't wait for the next one!

1334  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit Casino loosing value due to Licensing Ambiguity amongst users on: April 03, 2023, 12:22:04 PM
Just recently news came out regarding Rollbit casino which is popular amongst thousands of users here on the forum as well as outside this community. Rollbit also has its token with the ticker RLB. After the news came in regarding its licensing issues community has been aggravated since then and RLB is losing its value at an alarming rate. The token has fallen by 20% in jus the last 24 hours which is devastating for the Rollbit casino itself.

The reason for the fall is simple, Rollbit has not been able to tell the community freely that they don't have any such issues. This has created ambiguity among everyone. This might be making everyone leave the casino and sell their RLB tokens if any.

This also makes us think that factual analysis of the company matters a lot when it is listed on the exchanger and could impact the pricing in long run.

All they have to say is their license is on annual period however its still unclear if they have it running or not.

Quote
Rollbit says Curaçao authorities are currently engaged in an annual license review, which is why its logo is removed from the site.

Crypto casino Rollbit says it hasn’t received any indication from authorities that its “operation are problematic,” however traders are not convinced and are selling the platform's RLB token.
CoinGecko data shows that RLB is down 20% in the last 24 hours, or 37.5% over the last two weeks.
Crypto Twitter has noticed that Rollbit has removed information pertaining to its license from Curaçao, a Dutch Caribbean island off the coast of Venezuela, which is known to be an offshore hub for online gambling.

Rollbit recently began to offer crypto derivatives trading, which is not covered by its current license. Some users have noticed that information pertaining to crypto derivatives is hidden until the user logs in.
“We are actively communicating with our licensor about the renewal and will provide an update as soon as possible,” Rollbit said in a Twitter update. “Although this is typically an internal process, we recognize the importance of transparency in such a crucial aspect of our business.”

Today our community raised some concerns regarding our license status, which we're addressing below.

- Our license is currently in its annual renewal period, a standard procedure for Curaçao-licensed platforms like ours.

- We are actively communicating with our licensor about…— Rollbit (@rollbitcom) March 31, 2023

The online casino said it has implemented minor user interface changes based on their licensor's recommendations, which it claims is a common request during the renewal period.

Crypto Casino Rollbit's Token Drops 20% Amid Licensing Concerns

I think the concerns about the license is more about Rollbit offering crypto trading services that's not that different from a perp exchange.  Nothing wrong with this per se but it's possible that the Curacao Gaming Control Board saw it as some sort of issue because it's something out of their scope.

And for those who lost money trading RLB, they're just looking for someone to blame.  If you're going to trade something with not much liquidity and with high volatility at the same time, you'll get burned sooner or later.  I mean check RLB's chart out, it went up more than 20x in just a couple of months.  Lol.

Bottom line nobody is getting scammed.  I know I'm in their campaign but I'm not lying either from what info we all know so far...

Can Mercedes fight with Max?

^  Can the Merc guys fight vs Verstappen?  Russell can't but Hamilton can but then he has Alonso to worry about.  They could be fighting each other while Russell is just falling behind against Verstappen.

I'm more excited to see what awaits for Hamilton, Alonso and Sainz at the race than to see Verstappen win again.  :/

As for Perez, I think it wasn't driver error that got him out of quali.  The car was having some problems starting at FP3.
1338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Arbitrum Token Initial Price Speculation on: April 01, 2023, 05:05:50 PM
With the huge amount of airdrops to the arbitrum community, am surprised the price of arb is still above $1, I was really hoping to see it under $1 to be able to buy a good amount.
I can't really specula but I think arb can go as high as $5-1o in thr next bull season

Not that huge of an amount imo.  And what I'm really surprised about is it didn't pump hard right off the bat.  I mean for a token that had a bit of clamor when the network was first launched, it didn't get the anticipated demand to pump it above 2 USD from the average listing price of 1.00 - 1.20 USD.  It's not even 2x that.

I guess there will be a couple of weeks accumulation before a 3x or something.  But it doesn't matter..  I'm treating it as if the airdrop didn't happen.  Lol.
1339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Arb below 1$ on: April 01, 2023, 04:52:51 PM
I think it is not just good but perfect option to purchase when the price go below 1dollar mate or even lower , because we still have year to wait before the  halving and surely that when Bull comes you will be the one that can bring huge profit from Arb investment , though i am planning the same thing but surely it will be harder for not airdropper like me to purchase more as there are lot of coins to prioritize from my end.

I see that a lot of investors want to buy a coin at a price below $1. But given the fact that the demand for the coin is not decreasing, we may not see such a price. However, the potential for ARB growth will not be associated with halving, but with the upcoming unlock ARB for investors, which will begin in 1 year.

But isn't yearly inflation fixed at just 2%?  And I think by the time investor and team tokens are unlocked, the market would prolly be in full on bull mode where most of everything is trending up.  So things like inflation, FDV, market cap go out the window.  It's just a matter of buying the coins that are moving faster than ETH and BTC while ETH and BTC themselves are moving up in USD value.

ARB will be ETH's leveraged play imho as ARB is moving up in ETH value as ETH moves up in USD value.

Next stop 30k - 32k range.  That's double the price of where it was during the lows of November.  Leeez gooo!
