2321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: April 06, 2022, 06:50:14 AM
1st winner
2nd winner and
3rd Winner.

Say your mind.

Hard not to be biased here so early in the tournament, but could be nice to place some bets very early on to get good odds for later. I like to bet at least 4-5 small bets at the start of the tournament on some promising outlier teams, just to hedge all my other bets. My outlier picks right now are Mexico and Canada - if either of them win you would get 151x back which is insane.

For my overall winners the most promising look:

1st - Brazil
2nd - France
3rd - Spain
2322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: April 06, 2022, 06:37:45 AM
Quite hesitant on BIG. They have fucked my bets many times over for me to trust them ever again. Sissi is a good team but inconsistent so far with their results, but even then I wouldn't place any bet for BIG even if they are against a tier 2/3 teams. They ought to redeem themselves, especially faven who is always underperforming and might even be the weakest link of the group.

I know what you mean, in the past BIG wasn't so consistent when it comes to the big tournaments. But don't forget this isn't the Tier 1 team BIG from the Major tournaments, this is BIG Academy - the training team behind BIG. The team is much younger than the players from BIG and the roaster is also quite new, on average the player is 20 years only and in the team for 2-3 months. The played really well against Sissi State Punks, wining 16-4 on Nuke.
Tomorrow will be the match BIG Academy vs Cowana Gaming as part of the ESL Meisterschaft, which is going to be a very close match. Both teams are very equally skilled and are almost on the same ladder place. Hard to predict a winner here, because there are players like glaVed who played a long time for BIG Academy but is now with Cowana. I would still go with BIG on this one though. For the other game tomorrow Sprout vs No Limit Game it should be an easy win for Sprout - they only lost 2 games this season.
2323  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Game on: April 05, 2022, 07:43:29 AM
this may be possible, see my case, I only used 3 gambling sites, the first one I only used a few days and gave up on it, the second I only used it for 2 or 4 months and stopped and now that I'm using the stake, I'm not talking about a subscription campaign, I'm talking about that I only used 3 sites to place sports bets. maybe because I'm not a big fan of using many sites at the same time that's why I only used 3 gambling sites

Nothing wrong with only using a few gambling sites in my opinion. In todays time casinos became so competitive that there is not such a big difference anymore. If you really like the layout and design of an online casinos and it offers all the games you like to play, why play on multiple casinos? And many casinos run a loyalty program, that the more you gamble there the higher your level and the better goodies and kickbacks you can get. So instead of gambling with 100 USD on 10 different casinos it would be better to gamble at one casino with 1,000 USD. The only thing what makes it for me so attractive to look at new casinos from time to time is big promotions. There are quite a few deposit promotions that offer 100 to 200% bonus on your first deposit what can make a big difference in gambling. Same goes for sport betting, there a lot of different bookmakers out there who are all in competition with each other. That's why they will have always very similar odds for betting. If you found a good betting site with all the sports you like there is no real incentive to switch.
2324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you, or would you ever use a Bitcoin ATM? on: April 05, 2022, 07:19:28 AM
I've seen them pop up all around me, in small convenience stores and even restaurants. I was wondering if it's a good option to buy a gift for someone else, or are the fees too high and it's not worth it? Also I'm not sure how it works but figuring they give you a private key, and how safe is that?

For now I haven't used a Bitcoin ATM, the idea of ATMs that accept cryptos is a good and should be supported worldwide. I am not even aware that there is one close to my home. If there was one close to my home, I probably wouldn't be using it to be honest. I rarely use cash these days, paying with cards is just so much easier and faster. Carrying around large amounts of money is a thing of the past. Also I am trying to build up my crypto portfolio, so withdrawing coins from my wallet and converting them to Fiat money is not really my interest right now. It could be a big alternative when travelling on vacation to have the option to get local cash from our crypto wallets instead of paying high fees to our banks.
2325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Free Gambling Course provided by OnlineGambling on: April 05, 2022, 07:02:18 AM

Other than that it's a great initiative since players would be able to :
1. Improve
2. Make better decisions
3. Play competitively and win more !!
4. Gain more confidence

What do you think about this initiative??
Are you going to sign up ??

Sounds nice, I will give this course a try, thank you for posting it here. Nothing wrong with taking advantage of free things and 70 episodes is a definitely a lot. BlackJack is one of my favourite casino games, I have been playing it for more than 10 years now. The first time I heard about BlackJack was back in highschool from my math teacher. He wanted to show us some statistics example so we played one day BlackJack in class and had to do some presentations on different strategies. It's always great to hear from others about their experiences in gambling and what helped them to become professional. Same goes for more advanced strategies in BlackJack, there are a lot of different approaches to the game and listening to others can open our eyes to maybe change our own strategy. In the end it is all about improving our decision making at the table.
2326  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin reach its all-time high? on: April 04, 2022, 11:50:38 AM
Bitcoin lost half of its value and it took at least 3 months to recover from it. It has been at least 4 months since bitcoin was at an all-time high. This decline was longer than the Q2 2021 bitcoin decline. Will it recover in a few months or in a year?

Time will tell. What are your predictions of when will bitcoin recover from this decline?

Of course Bitcoins are going to recover from the decline. In my opinion we are already in the middle of the recovery. If we look at the bitcoin price at the start of the Ukraine-Russia war it is now much higher even though the war has not ended. The world is facing a lot of problems this year, rising energy prices, rising inflation, declining world trade, rising refugee numbers and ongoing covid crisis. With so many issues it comes as a surprise that Bitcoins are still trading so strong. I would expect the worst to be behind us in the next 6 month. We could see a new ATH for bitcoins in November/December this year.
2327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your opinions about simulated reality games? on: April 04, 2022, 08:00:13 AM
Sorry not to answer your question, but rather to ask about that "service". Unfortunately, I couldn't find anywhere anything like you described.

Could somone please provide a link to such a simulation of reality game?

In sports they are usually called Simulated Reality Leagues, because they not only simulate individual games rather the whole leagues and many games in there. It's not real matches, they use historical data for the teams and matches, but the games itself are randomly generated. The biggest markets are football and cricket matches, you can check them out here:
https://sportsbet.io/sports/cricket/simulated-reality-league/matches/future

This is just betting on the games, it's not like you can watch the whole game on your TV. There can be graphical imagines of the games but they are all created after the games are simulated and only die illustration purposes. It must sound very strange to someone who hasn't heard about it before. There quite a lot of people really into that alternative reality games. It gives the opportunity to have many more games per week which would never be possible with real life players. We
2328  Economy / Economics / Re: Read If you are between 18 and 68 years old! on: April 03, 2022, 06:48:57 PM
Gilbert's Research shows people from 18 to 68 underestimate how much they will change in the future, because of that they miss long term financial plans! What do you Think? Do you have any long term financial plans?

18-68 is a huge range. I don't think we can put all these people into one consideration. At 18 I had ko real financial plan for the future, that only came during my late 20s. University was very expensive for me and set me back many years financially. Before all these cost there was no real point in planning out the future. And even during university its hard to plan because you don't know how much money you will earn later.
The most important age to plan out future financial liabilities should be between 30-40, here we know how much money we make with some years of work experience and how much money we need to save for retirement. Doing long term financial planning at an age of 60+ seems not important to me anymore. At that age we leave the workforce soon, there is no real time left to make a lot of money for retirement.
2329  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which rookie candidate will make a better trader and quickly too? on: April 03, 2022, 05:06:31 AM
It depends on how good the teacher is in my opinion. Nothing wrong with paying someone to teach us his skills. The only problem might be that he is a very good trader, but very bad teaching others. There are people who make the right decisions on his brain very fast, but struggle to explain how they reached that conclusion. If the teacher has a good track record of teaching beginners the arts of trading, I would probably go with him than teach myself. Teaching ourselves might be free but will involve a lot of more time. It is up to us to distinguish between bad trading ideas/strategies and good ones. It also depends a bit on the individual, there are some people who enjoy listening to others and learn faster that way. Than there are others who maybe have a different learning speed and enjoy more reading things at their own past. Both ways can make good traders.
2330  Economy / Economics / Re: Pay in rubles or have your gas shut off by April on: April 03, 2022, 03:53:30 AM
Putin has threatened so called unfriendly states to pay in rubles or have its gas supply shut off. It has said it doesn't buy things for free and so isn't going to charitable with its energy.
Europe has kicked against this with Germany saying its being blackmailed by this move. What other choice does Europe has with Russia alone selling about 40% of energy to the world.

There isn't really anything Europe can do short term. We are dependent on Russia for gas, there is no real alternative we can find in a few weeks. Also these are long term contracts with Russia, we can't just cancel them overnight. Same goes for Russia, they need the western money and will not stop the gas flow. Both parties in the contract want the gas to keep flowing. Putins rational behind this move is strengthen the currency, via increasing demand for Ruble. The German chancellor Olaf Scholz already said they will only pay in Euro or Dollars, but this doesn't matter. Gazprom is creating new bank accounts that will directly change the euros or dollars into Ruble.
2331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is the "Draw No Bet" not found on most sportsbook on: April 03, 2022, 02:21:41 AM
Having played on several sportsbook platform's over the years both IRL and online,  I have noticed that most of these bookies
today don't have the " draw no bet" market. What could be their reasons for not giving us this market? Could it be that it's a less money generating market for most sportsbooks out there?

Showing bets and odds without draws make it look easier for the bettor. You have only two options, either you bet on your team winning or your team losing. Enabling draw bets is for more sophisticated gamblers, but also a big income for the bookmakers. I read in an article that people tend to undervalue draws and overvalue wins and losses. So maybe bookmakers can increase that misconception even more if draws odds are not shown. In the end it's all about profitability. They must have the data which making more money, with or without the no draw bet.
2332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's preventing bitcoin from worldwide adoption? on: April 03, 2022, 12:47:50 AM
Your 1. Point is the only real reason in my opinion why governments will not make bitcoins a legal tender all around the world. Politicians are usually in office 3-5 years and maybe get reelected afterwards. During that time politicians rely heavily on the control of money supply. In good economic times the budget is usually balanced and the country spends the same it generates through taxes. But there is usually no real surplus because why would the government reduce debt levels, just to help out future governments? It's better for them to make some tax cuts or give reliefs to some groups and guarante their votes for the next ejection. In bad economic times the government relies of printing new money, issuing new debt to cover any shortfalls. With bitcoins as the new legal tender all that wouldn't be possible again. There would be the need for a government to act much more financial prudent and long term orientated. For the people it would be a good thing, just not for the politicians. That's why they are trying so hard to limit and regulate crypto currencies heavily.

2334  Economy / Gambling / Re: how to choose best Gambling website for Gambling ? on: April 02, 2022, 04:34:16 AM
I am very new to gambling, I am facing many issues for this but I don't understand such as: RTP, house edge I don't understand these things. What  should I need to keep in mind  to choose a good gambling website?

RTP and House Edge are already advanced terms for a beginner. They both mean basically the same thing, how much money is the casino is going to keep for themselves and how much they return to the gamblers. The games we play at casinos all have a negative expected value for the gamblers - it's mean that if hundred of thousands of people are going to play a game 1 time than 51-55% of the players will lose and 45-49% are winning.
There is not the one best casinos out there for all games, first you need to decide what games you like and what you want to play. For example, are you more into Dice, Roulette, blackjack or slot games? If you found your favourite games than you can look for the best casinos offers. Try out FortuneJack, they have a large variety of games and always nice promotions.
2335  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia wants to build a new world order with China on: April 02, 2022, 03:50:52 AM
High inflation rates weaken USD dominance for sure but are it really possible to replace USD as a reserve currency or the USA will allow that so easily? The era of regional currency is coming?

It's not only USA that is facing high inflation rates, Europe and Russia have the same problem. All around the world prices are going crazy this and last year already. Its mainly construction materials, food and energy prices than rose a lot in the last 12 months. That's why most currency face the inflation pressure. The war in Ukraine accelerated the need for a non USD based trade currency for Russia. Rubble might be one option but its very volatile right now. The Chinese yuan might be another option but I don't think Russia will accept that. For their energy payments they now require money to come in Ruble because they can't deal much with Euros or Dollars anymore, and its a good way to stabilise the own currency. Trade between Russia and China will not be in USD. Also yesterday Russian foreign minister was in India to make more biliateral trade without using USD. I don't think we will we see another currency to take over the world number one trading currency, but what we do see is a more biliateral trade between countries in their own currencies. The US Dollar will lose it's importance over time.
2336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2022 Group Stage Highlights on: April 02, 2022, 03:32:06 AM
Slowly getting hyped for the Worldcup, even though I don't like it's being played in Qatar. Too many people died building the stadiums and politically the country shouldn't be supported through such a big event. But of course I will still watch and bet on the games. The group stage drawings was really nice, there is no knock out group were some of the big teams have to fight early one. There should be nice odds for picking the champion already now.

Looking at the groups, group A seems the easiest, Netherlands should definitely manage to get through. Group B will be easy for England to advance. Group C are Argentina and Mexico my favourites. Group D France of course and probably Denmark. Group E Spain Germany I hope. Group F Belgium, Group H Brazil and Group F Portugal. I don't expect any of the favourites to be eliminated during group stage.
2337  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: Akzeptanz von Kryptowährungen als alternatives Zahlungsmittel (Umfrage) on: April 02, 2022, 03:22:51 AM
Hey  Smiley

2338  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling exploit (LEGAL) on: April 02, 2022, 03:08:57 AM
Hey i found a vulnerability in a gambling website that allows you to consistently win money.
No bs. With a bot $$$ 100k a day (can prove mathematically)
The problem is i need atleast 20k.

Are there any high rep members willing to work together on this? I just ask for shares in profits.

Sounds like a nice April fools story  Cheesy please show us your mathematical proof, I want to see that. Honestly, who in his right mind would give a trading bit 20k USD? First of all, why you need 20k? Can't you just run the bot in smaller size, like start with a few hundred USD. If it's really risk free you should be really quickly at your 20k USD in profit. Also why sell it? You just get rich yourself.
2339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goodbye, privacy, goodbye, it was nice while it lasted. on: April 02, 2022, 03:05:12 AM
I think it's too early to worry much about it. It's important to stay informed and watch the new legislation coming into play. It could definitely be very damaging for the crypto community in Europe and limit our abilities to send crypto money freely. But they EU voted a few days ago on an outright ban of cryptos, which luckily didn't get a majority. So if politicians can be persuaded against any crypto ban in the future with tighter regulation than so be it. Who knows if this will get through all the national governments without any amendments. At the moment they propose the limit to report is at 1,000 EUR. Anybody who wants to fly below the radar has just to do many 999€ transactions. But maybe the limit will be raised before it becomes law. For cash the limit is at 10,000€ to be reported. Also there could be some loopholes for us in the future. Best to wait and observe.
2340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your opinions about simulated reality games? on: March 31, 2022, 11:47:04 AM
If it's a fake simulation game, how about that game that is available on some sports betting sites because I think some gamblers have placed on that game. Or are they just trying to place a bet without thinking if it's fake or real? But indeed, placing bets in real games will be more sensational because we can see how big the chances of each team are so we can choose them as our bets. But whether we're going to play a simulation game or choose a real game, of course, we're going to place a bet on something we know well. If we're trying to install on something we don't know then it's probably just a trial and error to see how the game works.

I agree, placing bets on simulated games without knowning if they are real or fake is very risky. We need to think before betting our money away, just because a bookmaker offers some odds doesn't mean that it's a fair game we gamble on. The thing with simulated games is that they offer a bigger variety of games to bet on. So in periods of breaks due to season holidays or breaks because of other issue, like covid lockdowns, we can still enjoy betting. Simulated games will full randomness involved are fair for every players. There is no edge to be gained, everybody has the same odds and it all comes down to who is lucky and who is unlucky.
