2361  Economy / Service Discussion / China Bitcoin exchangers banned on: December 17, 2013, 05:55:51 PM
All the Bitcoin chinese exchangers will be closed until January 30.

BTC China is forced to close its business after China gov clarifies that all financial companies including "exchangers" must stop accepting Bitcoin.

MTGox is almost dead too. The withdrawals are taking months.

The market will face big changes. BTC-e seems to be on top now after MTGox and BTC China collapse.

I doubt that BTC-e has enough reserves to cover the massive sells that it will come after BTC China will close.
2362  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC China will be closed. All Bitcoin chinese exchangers will be closed. on: December 17, 2013, 05:45:55 PM

This thread is about chinese exchangers not about worldwide exchangers.

My information is confirmed once again:

2363  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mt.Gox? on: December 17, 2013, 05:37:55 PM
which ones are not right? Smiley
2364  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mt.Gox? on: December 17, 2013, 02:06:18 PM
Yes,Bitstamp is a good choice-it's stable, good for trading. It's also quite fast and you don't have to wait that much when you make a transaction.
Why is mt.Gox 760 right now and Bitstamp 709? why is there a huge difference?

You might never get the money out of MtGox, thats why.
Monthly withdrawal delays are reported

MTGox is like dead. Their bank accounts are seized, limited.
BTC China is like dead(will be closed in 30 days)
CoinBase= based USA(no license) and it will closed in the following months
BitStamp = still in business(a matter of time until their bank account will be closed). I think they will resit more than other exchangers.

Oh my, mayax, you are spreading FUD here as well?!  Shocked

Anything wrong to say facts?
Were not MT GOX's bank accounts closed/seized? Many people are reporting months of delay when they withdrawn.
Is it not CoinBase in USA and it's working without license?
Is it not BTC China almost closed(they will in 30 days) under the new China Bank terms?

Where is the so called FUD?
2365  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC China will be closed. All Bitcoin chinese exchangers will be closed. on: December 17, 2013, 01:41:35 PM
Still no bet.  Obvious FUD thread.

Keep up the good work mayax (and others).

So long and thanks for all the cheap(er) BTC!

I don't get you. What bet you want to make?

It's an obvious and a real thing that China banned all the exchangers including BTC China. What  FUD are you talking about?
2366  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mt.Gox? on: December 17, 2013, 01:29:35 PM

I was just reading this news on BusinessInsider. So, this news seems to be true. It seems like chinese government is trying hard to knock bitcoin out of the park. Do you guys think now bitcoin will crash and stabalize at a new value like at 600?

http://www.businessinsider.com/china-bitcoin-crackdown-intensifies-2013-12

it will crash. the banks will close the accounts for all the exchangers in the following months.

I know others will come with a lot of "words"(bla bla bla) trying to say otherwise. It's funny that they know that I am right.

Today China clarifies the situation for everybody (they already did it 8 days ago but it was necessary to be bolded)

CoinBase will be closed in the next months by having its bank accounts seized. They are working without license in USA(they are based in USA).It's incredible the naivety of people. MT Gox lost over 6 mil by doing the same thing 6 months ago.
2368  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC China will be closed. All Bitcoin chinese exchangers will be closed. on: December 17, 2013, 01:12:39 PM
BTC China could close down in the new year when there won't be anymore funding/withdrawl options left:

http://www.coindesk.com/sources-confirm-chinas-payment-processor-ban-bitcoin-price-falls/

I was really hoping China wouldn't crack down this hard on bitcoin, but the facts are the facts. The PBOC doesn't want any threats to its plan of making the Yuan the world's reserve currency.

samsam  please do not spoil my bet Smiley

I opened this thread just to inform and I faced a lot of resistance. I am not sure why. It seems the people do not like to be informed. Smiley

Thailand already banned Bitcoin 6 months ago

This is a bold faced LIE.  Quit repeating it.  It NEVER HAPPENED.  It was just a huge steaming pile of "journalism" all traced back to one blog entry which was a LIE.

If you are so convinced you are right then you would be willing to bet me on it.  Since you are not taking the bet that proves all your posts are LIES.

Assuming on that, it means that all the positive stories about Bitcoin are lies. All the news about how great Bitcoin is , are coming from forums and blogs and then they are spread in "press".

http://www.cnbc.com/id/100923551

Do you really think that China did not ban the exchangers to buy and sell Bitcoin? Say it and then we will make a bet.
2370  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC China will be closed. All Bitcoin chinese exchangers will be closed. on: December 17, 2013, 12:47:42 PM
i think everyone just needs to calm down, while a few countries or banks may ban BTC, its not going to get banned worldwide or made illigal

The main central banks already warned agaist Bitcoin - last week

French central bank warns over bitcoin risks
http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/12/05/us-france-bitcoin-idUSBRE9B40IF20131205

Australia and New Zealand warns against Bitcoin- last week

Thailand already banned Bitcoin 6 months ago

USA- you cannot deal with Bitcoin beacause the banks would close your bank account.

China already banned businesses to exchange(sell and buy for real money ) Bitcoin yesterday

These are facts.
2371  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC China will be closed. All Bitcoin chinese exchangers will be closed. on: December 17, 2013, 06:01:34 AM
BTC China will close the business in China in less than 30 days. Mark my words.
This is a pretty specific claim here.  Care to bet on that?  How much would you bet on this?

Put your money where you mouth is.

Oh, I forgot, you already sold all your BTC, right?

I really don't care what you do with your money but it's funny for me how you try to convince me about some fantasies. I understand that you want to speculate with Bitcoin. It's normal to want to earn more and more.... but let's cut the ***. Smiley  Leave it as it is.

You can say whatever you want: FUD, MUD, BUP, LOL...but China will not allow Bitcoin exchanges from January 30.
2372  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC China will be closed. All Bitcoin chinese exchangers will be closed. on: December 17, 2013, 05:54:45 AM
China`s Central Bank reported that the institution has banned third-party payment companies from doing business with bitcoin exchanges

Well, today China banned exchangers to accept payments from clients who want to buy Bitcoin. BTC China(the biggest exchanger from China) is not accepting deposits anymore.Yes, the clients will still be able to sell in order to not create panic but it is a temporary solution until the end of January.

"For payment companies that have already done business with Bitcoin Exchanges, should end their business cooperation; withdrawals of balances should be completed before the Chinese Spring Festival (January 2014), and new payment services are not allowed."

IMO, the banks from worldwide will ban all the Bitcoin exchangers soon(in the following months). I recommend you to sell your Bitcoin now. The rate should go down fast.

It only applies to 3rd party payment service. No policy saids exchanges cannot use bank services. Please stop spreading FUD.

What is an exchanger than a 3rd party service? Smiley

Any service who receive money in exchange for an "investment"  must be licensed.
Any service who is operating means of payments must be licensed in China. BTC China avoided this thing because a license is useless for  them. Once you have one, you cannot deal with anonymous systems like Bitcoin. Smiley

Also, the exchangers are dealing with Bitcoin and the banks from China are not allowed to receive payments for Bitcoin anymore.

It's a matter of time until the banks will implement the new rule.
2373  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC China will be closed. All Bitcoin chinese exchangers will be closed. on: December 17, 2013, 05:48:20 AM
The first annoucement is more than enough. BTC China should be licensed but it is not.

The China gov banned ALL the financial companies to deal with Bitcoin. That includes a licensed exchanger as well.

EVEN so, the banks will close any  business account related with Bitcoin.

You give the first announcement the interpretation you like and not the real one(and many others like you). That's why the second announcement will clarify the things.

BTC China will close the business in China in less than 30 days. Mark my words.

Also, please do not use "FUD" because Bitcoin has itself value, right? So, what fear, what doubt? You should have more trust in your "investment" Smiley
2374  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC China will be closed. All Bitcoin chinese exchangers will be closed. on: December 17, 2013, 05:39:40 AM
This is about a second announcement. The first one was clearly but the second one will leave no doubt. All the Bitcoin chinese exchangers will close their business until Jan 30(one month from now).
2375  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC China will be closed. All Bitcoin chinese exchangers will be closed. on: December 17, 2013, 05:30:29 AM
You miss an important aspect. All the websites are PRO Bitcoin. Why would they fabricate a such news? Smiley

Also, you do not mention about the first China bank announcement. Is this a lie too?

I recommend you to wait for 1-2 days.
2376  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC China will be closed. All Bitcoin chinese exchangers will be closed. on: December 17, 2013, 05:17:50 AM
I would sell my Bitcoins if I would had NOW.

mayax, eight posts, all FUD, all the time.

I came with official announcement link and with my opinion too. You are not forced to read my posts.

i am sure you have much more experience than I so you don't have to believe a "newbie" Smiley

Go and buy Bitcoin... Smiley

Yes, you come with an old link, and claim to have a new announcement.

Read a link from China, please:

Why are the prices falling today ?

Because people like OP keep spreading FUD.
There is no official announcement, but all sites just keep saying "according to sources", blah blah blah..

Check OP's post history, he registered his account, made this thread, and replied in another post saying bitcoin is insecure and nobody want bitcoins lol.

Yes, I am new here. So what? Smiley  I am not against Bitcoin and I don't deal with it. I am using other e-currencies.

I posted here because the people must be informed. I didn't come with SF stories. These are the facts. I know that you want to protect your investment. I would do the same in your place.

The China gov has banned all the financial companies to deal with Bitcoin is a fact already(6 days ago). The banks will close all the accounts relatated with Bitcoin exchanges (the exception will be the personal ones)

http://www.pbc.gov.cn/publish/goutongjiaoliu/524/2013/20131205153156832222251/20131205153156832222251_.html

It is not a rumor.
The second announcement it was done few hours ago(China time). The official statement will be published in 1-2 days.

Yes, it's a major hit as I said above. the China market was huge for Bitcoin. Now,it's gone. Again, these are not rumors ! Smiley

I would sell my Bitcoins if I would had NOW.

2379  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC China will be closed. All Bitcoin chinese exchangers will be closed. on: December 17, 2013, 04:36:15 AM
It's from China`s Central Bank. They did the announcement today.

OK, original you are talking about a new announcement just published today.

Now, you give us a link for the announcement published on Dec 5.
You must be kidding me.

Where is your so-called today announcement?

Yes, there are lots of "news" in English, but none in Chinese. Wow, that's interesting.

"For payment companies that have already done business with Bitcoin Exchanges, should end their business cooperation; withdrawals of balances should be completed before the Chinese Spring Festival (January 2014), and new payment services are not allowed."

Payment companies ≠ Banks.
Yes, you can no longer withdraw CNY from btcchina to tenpay, but you can deposit money to or withdraw money from bank account directly.

Payment companies are not only banks;are all the financial licensed company. You can transmit money even you are not a bank. There are many categories of financial companies. The exchangers are one of them so they fall under this rule.
Anyway, the banks won't accept payments for Bitcoin exchanges anymore.

The second announcement is making the things more clearly.
Just wait for 1-2 days and you will see the Chinese announcement.

You will see the rates going down too.
2380  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC China will be closed. All Bitcoin chinese exchangers will be closed. on: December 17, 2013, 04:28:11 AM
It's interesting how it's no problem if you want to pay $1 million dollars for a digital picture or a digital music file... but if you want to buy letters in a text file you get the ban hammer...  Undecided And aren't ALL digital multimedia made up of similar letters and numbers at the core?

You buy letters are you buy letter in a ponzi scheme. Also, it's anonymous. That's all the banks are banning Bitcoin.

I am not against Bitcoin. These are the facts.

You can do whatever you want with your money, so you can even buy some digits in an "unregulated" system. Smiley

My post was about China.

China banned all the exchangers. You will see that all of them will close the business or they will try to cheat the banks in a way or others.

Anyway, it's not a joke. You can be executed for "Money Laundering" in China.
This it happens if you make exchanges without being licensed. Smiley
