1605  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [URGENT] SATOSHI HAS MOVED HIS COINS on: February 06, 2015, 12:28:46 AM
It happened! This is what we were afraid of! Satoshi has just moved his coins!! Sell all your coins before it's too late!

http://www.coindesk.com/satoshi-has-moved-his-coins/

Coindesk prints a lot of bullshit.  Remember who they work for.  (Also bullshit link anyway)
they work for ..... who? Smiley
1606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you leaving? on: February 05, 2015, 07:56:55 PM
If little girls cannot hack the pressure of making money and being behind tech that gives a chance of freedom, then they will not be missed as they like being controlled.

They will be back though without a doubt in my mind and probably gutted when they do for obvious reasons

"chance of freedom" ? what freedom? I saw many people from here who said "hurrah !" to Coinbase regulation/ Even this "regulation" will report them to IRS.

I saw people who "salute" the gather an island (same as "Bilderberg) EVEN the BTC hard core was fighting against "Bilderberg" and globalization Smiley

So, there is a LOT of hypocrisy here. Let's say it straight: nobody cares and don't give a shit on BTC. Everybody wants quick money and nothing more Smiley

Otherwise you would invest in decentralized services and you won't use shit exchanges like Coinbase, Bitfinex, Bitstamp, BTC-China of whose shareholders are the SAME people !
1607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 20MB Fork on: February 05, 2015, 07:51:08 PM
Has Gavin ever released a coin in altsection? Has he ever shown to be able to actually create a coin?

I would want him to actually release an altcoin and show if there is actual demand for it. I'm not sure he's able to even create a longterm viable product. This would be the opportunity for him.

How would creating an altcoin and proving there's demand for it relate to modifying Bitcoin in such a way that more transactions can be handled? I see no connection.

"Making a different Bitcoin that can do X, Y and Z" is in essence making an altcoin.

yes. so what? people can use many so called "coins". what's the problem? Smiley
1608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2.5 BTC stolen i wanna cry :-( on: February 05, 2015, 07:48:24 PM
That sucks.

blockchaininfo is pretty dammed secure. Did you have 2FA enabled? Do you use the virtual keyboard for withdrawal password?

Don't do business on pc you surf, download torrents, etc.

Use virtualbox with a linux OS just for business is even better.

blockchaininfo was hacked for many times. also, all the online wallets are unsecured. do not keep your money in BTC.
1609  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2.5 BTC stolen i wanna cry :-( on: February 05, 2015, 07:46:53 PM
call BTC and make a complaint LOL.

Well, you learnt a lesson. Do not store in BTC  more than you cannot afford to lose. keep the money in your bank account/card...not in BTC shit
1610  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 20MB Fork on: February 05, 2015, 05:58:37 PM
who will develop a new Bitcoin? Who is that Gavin? You can do it yourself. Also, there are many Altcoins. why would you need a NEW BTC? Smiley

there are already many "alt coins" available and the exchanges should accept them. Does it matter the name of the "coin" or the service it offers?
1611  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cloud Mining Website sends funds to Eobot on: February 05, 2015, 01:51:41 PM
They are paying me for over one year, and I am not a newbie.. I just post not much comments as I found it a bit useless

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=551009.0

Roll Eyes How long was Madoff's ponzi running for?

Payouts are no proof of legitimacy. I'll ask again, what have Eobot done to prove their legitimacy. Have they shown that they actually have 2 Ph/s like they claim? Have they shown pictures of their DC and hardware? Have any ASIC manufacturers confirmed that they've sold Eobot any miners? They've done nothing as far as I know.

tell me how many genuine miners exist then. 2-3? or less? Smiley
1612  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: oilpalas.com on: February 05, 2015, 01:50:29 PM
OilPalas is a HYIP/ponzi site. You shouldn't invest into them, because in basically every case, they'd turn into a scam soon enough. It'd be best to do some research before jumping in.

ponzi are "games". 99% from those who are playing in them know what they are doing. Smiley

Rubbish.
Ponzi's are theft by deception.
In MLM Ponzis such as OilPalas , 90% of 'investors' lose money. The only people to gain are the parasitic criminals who serially organize these scams and the chosen few who get in very early and then shill for them.

BTC is based on these "games". Without them, BTC = 1 USD Smiley

Have you considered putting money on a website that says "How to multiply your Bitcoins hundredfold in a day?" DON'T.

These websites are scams, and yes, there is a lot of them. Are they ALL hackers who found a flaw in Bitcoin? Hopefully not! And notice all these websites say the EXACT same thing, but with different domains and addresses.

Second, people have reported bad experiences with them.

Third, why would they even release this to the public? I mean, seriously, 0.9 BTC free in one DAY? Why not just use it for yourself?

Last but not least, (this probably supplies the most evidence) although the payouts displayed on the website differ, the blockchain payouts are ALL THE SAME, which means they probably pay to STOLEN MONEY to one of their partners in crime.

I also truly hope this IS a scam, or else this will crash the Bitcoin economy.

Yes you are right. It is better to invest in reliable investing schemes.

1618  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Senior Member oscarftw has not yet repaid loan as agreed on: February 05, 2015, 01:39:58 PM
@ducatitalia , news about the situation ? Does he repay you or not ?

This is the latest communication from oscarftw from Jan 29:
Gonna fix this soon. Having some difficulties will be closed tonight or tomorrow I guess

Hoping he comes through---Would be such a shame to ruin a senior level account over this small loan.  I've offered to try and work something out to assist...awaiting his response..

Ok , I've left him a negative feedback ... that's very bad. I hope he will repay you.

have you used his services? Smiley
