Just a quick note about being a Director of a limited company in the UK.
If your business goes into administration and you have discharged your duties legally and to the best interests of the business then your personal assets are usually safe. However, a recent precedent was set where a Director of a company was found to have committed a criminal offence and not acted in the best interests of the company. The result was the court successfully "lifting the veil of incorporation" and seized all of the personal assets (including homes) of the Director in question.
That precedent allowed a friend to regain money owed to him by the Director of a UK estate agency by having his personal house repossessed and sold.
Who knows what is going on here but if the Directors of Moolah have acted in a criminal manner they might not have as much protection as they hope they have.
IF an offence has been committed. It is a very complex area. Either way, I'm sorry for everybody who has lost currency.

I'm not fearing a DRK apocalypse.
If a load of dumping goes on (whoever is doing it), there is a corresponding buy. Darkcoin still does what Darkcoin does. If price suffers, I believe it will bounce back.
The great pump of May 2014 put DRK out of the reach of a lot of people we want holding DRK. If the price tanks and traders leave the building, good, it's a nice re-distribution of holdings... Sell them all, we will buy. |

I had 8 BTC in Mintpal V1 5 seconds from buying MNs when it was taken down instantaneously with no email warning, message on website or Mintpal twitter, then 2 weeks of sending emails, support tickets even legal threats and not 1 single response and no sign of the coins. And no I don't 'keep coins on the exchange' only when I buy stuff I will shoot anyone who comes and says that now LOL. Ouch. I hope you get your coins back. I was wondering how English bankruptcy law sees depositors. If they're considered unsecured creditors then we're at the bottom of the pecking order if they have a lot of debt - specially tax and VAT. On the other hand if moolah didn't actually own Mintpal then the funds might indeed be safe but the question is "who does". They say "a statement to follow". Lets see. You are correct. We are unsecured creditors and bottom of the pile in the UK. |

I had 0.04 BTC in my mintpal account and it pisses me off. I can only feel for those who lost proper sums. If you didn't watch Antonopolous addressing the Canadian senate on the need for legislation to cover any point where centralisation occurs, then try to take the time to do so. what does an unverified account at Cryptsy mean exactly ? can you still trade and withdraw ? i dont really feel like uploading official paperwork (ID, photo)

Two things that I am aware of 1) Your BTC deposits will require 12 confirmations 2) Your withdrawals will require manual processing by Cryptsy staff. (doesn't take too long). |

Yep best strategy is to just keep whatever you can keep without caring too much. I offloaded most of my holdings around .008-.009 because I'm simply sick of the way this coin trades. It may be successful in the long run but I'm not holding a large stake in the meantime.
I kept enough for 1 masternode. Will see how things turn out. If it's causing you stress re-evaluate your position. I own much less than I had before but also have much less stress than before.
Try to limit checking the price to about once a week. I've found that helps me. Dude, how did you manage that?  I can't stop checking the price a couple of times a day Its easy if you're really in it for the long haul. |

I think part of the problem is that people treat this thread as the only source of info on Darkcoin. It seems that some holders have literally no idea what the next release is going to bring and how some of these problems will be solved. |
