2461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: A quick question!! on: January 19, 2022, 11:18:02 PM
Elon Musk influence on Dogecoins seems to have dropped, why ?
Did you thought that such influence would last forever? Why did you thought something like that? Many people revere Elon Musk in the same way they revered Steve Jobs, but he is a businessman and nothing more, people have realized that almost any comment that he makes about dogecoin is not really an implicit support for the coin but an attempt to manipulate the market, and when that is the case people make what they can to resist the influence of the one trying to make them to take decisions that go against their own self-interests.

Or people are just realizing that they need tangible actions not only pure talk.
With several tweets towards doge and the hope of collaborating with doge for its network improvement, people are expecting something will happen.
But only tweets so far, we haven't seen results yet of those supposedly collaboration.
So the enthusiasm is waning as we are not seeing concrete plans here.
It may have big influence in the first few tweets, but as day goes by, people are getting the point already.
2462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NFT a way to whiten the black money? on: January 19, 2022, 09:36:26 PM
NFT is very easy to mint, anyone can mint and sell there NFT through different platform. But can this be a way of money laundering or whiten the black money? Imagine, someone is hacking cards and buying ETH. And then they are on other side, minting NFT and buying their NFT themselves. So, the hacker is easily bypassing the law. Black money is turning into white money in a very easy way. What is your opinion on this?

I think this has been discussed since the first time NFT was introduced in the crypto world, it is not impossible indeed to launder money in NFT, even this activity is quite easy to do. Therefore I have no interest in entering the realm of NFT, I am afraid that if I am exposed to FOMO by people and then lose because of buying NFT. Cheesy
Some NFT are worth to buy but I don’t see others work as worth it to buy on such expensive value so I think this is really possible since its more of a decentralized and no one really knows who the seller are, so laundering can happen in NFTs. Though the hype is still here and a lot more to come for sure, so far there’s no laundering report about NFTs, but for sure if there’s a news like this the bubble will start to burst.

The presented scenario of the OP is really possible and similar situations are already happening.
Basically, everyone can create their own NFT collectibles. So yes, if the scammer or hacker decide to use this avenue, he can.
But if you are a buyer of NFT, you should weigh your reasons why you are buying and verify its authenticity.
Don't waste for something you don't believe in, just because it is the current hype.
Because once it loses its market value, you will regret following the bandwagon.
2463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2022: Bullish or bearish for crypto? on: January 18, 2022, 11:58:25 PM
Will 2022 be a bearish or bullish year for crypto?
I think there is a possibility of another bullish. As we know that not only common people who invested in Bitcoin now, a country like El Salvador and many popular people in the world start to invest in Bitcoin lately. This can lead to a longer time of bullish trend, so it possibly the bullrun continues in 2022. But it should happen if there is many good news about crypto this year. If too many bad news happens, the bearish season may come immediately.

The difference today as compared to previous years is the number of entities and stakeholders that are already into crypto.
Before, a lot are treating this as possible scam market but when countries like El Salvador supports the crypto system, I believe, a lot of people change their perspectives.
Some US states are also supporting the crypto market by promoting their city as crypto hub like in New York.
Slowly, people are changing their stand towards crypto, as they also educate themselves about its true nature and influence in the market.
2464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which are the top metaverse tokens to consider as a long-term investment? on: January 18, 2022, 11:31:07 PM
Play to Earn remains the most popular market for Metaverse so that should help narrow down your search. The problem with most games right now is their bad economy. They start strong with a huge reward pool to attract players but their system is unsustainable resulting to a quick dry up of their pool. Early players dump their rewards and leave while new players are stuck.
I tend to agree with you and maybe the existing one.
For me, Axie is still the best investment but I don't know if they are capable on my part to hold in a long term, other than that, it's pure hype that could be useless soon.  Let's just be careful always upon choosing an investment, just to be safe always and choose the proven and tested one.

Metaverse projects now are hyped and I can't trust them holding in a long term and none of the altcoins are good to hold in a long term, it's quite very risky on our part.  Maybe invest only that you can afford to lose and think that you gamble your money and dont expect a good return.

Treat metaverse token as just any other type of token, which can be subjected to possible pump and dump or abandonment.
This is why I won't suggest any of them for long-term investment. It is the current hype and we have no idea about their survival in this market.
They may be good for short-term investments, but still, you need to be selective with the project that you are going to invest with.
These developers won't be worried if one day their project collapsed, especially if they got their pockets full already.
2465  Economy / Economics / Re: If crypto trades are done off-chain, they are not real. The Economics of CEX's. on: January 18, 2022, 10:51:39 PM

This has always been and will continue to be as long as centralized exchanges are concerned, ever wondered by exchange fees are so low on centralized exchanges while the same exchanges fees are so high on decentralized exchanges?
Centralized exchanges have their pros and cons, and a few and the cons you've mentioned, but one of the pros is that which I stated above "transaction fees".
Imagine trading erc20 tokens on uniswap at this time, check out the fees, and also trade the same erc20 tokens on a centralized exchange like binance, check out how much fees binance charged and compare the two and tell which is more affordable for the average crypto user.

Conclusion is, In as much as we try to condemn centralized exchanges for their excesses, they still play a major role in the growth of crypto currencies.

Very well-said. CEXs has major contribution also in terms of crypto adoption in this market.
So even if we say, some don't like using centralized exchanges, still, they are vital in the growth of this market.
Not many traders can afford to use DEX. Aside from that, there are so many alts that you can only find in CEXs.
And in addition to this, most CEXs are regulated by specific Central Banks, so at least people know where to go in case something goes awry.
2466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the next big industry move? on: January 17, 2022, 09:46:24 PM
Actually I don't what will the regulators next approach on the next generation Online Casino since most of them is moving toward Web 3.0 format which is a completely decentralized. I wonder how can they still regulate or required KYC procedure for gamblers that playing on exceeding amount of the required for the KYC.
Without a doubt this is a challenge that governments all over the world are facing, before the apparition of bitcoin it seemed we were going to eventually reach a point in which the centralization of power will be nothing more but a given and people will just have to accept it, however now decentralization is slowly countering that tendency and this is something that governments despise, as all their efforts over the last decades are crumbling before their eyes.

And this will give the reason for some governments to strictly ban online gambling in their juriscdictions.
If they can't get a hold or at least get a share from these online casinos, we may be seeing a crackdown depending on the laws of the government.
Because the reason why offline or traditional casinos are legally existing is because they are getting taxed by the government.
Now, if the decentralization is next thing to online gambling, how can they tax these casinos or at least monitor their constituents regarding their gambling activities?
2467  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitVest, The worst casino I have ever seen on: January 17, 2022, 09:27:21 PM
well there have been months already and nothing from them to recover my funds. I already accept the truth is that casino will keep my money when I making mistake just like decided to gambliing at their site! COMPLETELY GARBAGE CASINO

The rule is clear that send coin into the wrong chain is not recoverable, you can push and keep complaining if there was someone from Bitvest promised to you to recover it.
Do not blame other because your own mistake, you should accept the fact that you cant do anything because of your mistake and move on.
I also believe you are aware the latest situation in Bitvest especially related to the owner lightlord who is not as active as before.

I think the fact is ear now and op should be seeing this so he will know that it is his fault not anybody's fault. I don't think there is anyway it can be recover but it's like he sounds like it is a usually occurrence which had been a normal way he funds his Bitvest account. Never the less I think if their is not solution to be the his own mistake, he should just forget about it and leave Bitvest and Lightlord alone.

Can bitvest really keep that funds if it is in the wrong chain?
Maybe, it is quite complicated to recover that fund so bitvest just kept silent about it.
As we know, LL is not active in the past months because of his health situation.
So no one can literally keep up with the resolution of this case.
We can't say, it is the casino's fault because what they can do is just assist in the recovery.
That is, if they will be generous here. Because in the first place, it is not their job to recover the funds sent via wrong chain.
I hope players will be fair on throwing feedback to the casino, if they know they have shortcomings from their end.
2468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Thurman vs Barrios - Feb 5 on: January 17, 2022, 08:58:08 PM
If he wins this one, he will possibly line to call for another title fight. He's still young, and he still fits inside this division, just need to
win this upcoming fight and make his name to hype back,

He will now back again to the discussion with the same level of Spence Jr and Terence Crawford. If Thurman will win the fight and his next future fights, he can now also demand a unification fight if ever Spence or Crawford will retain their current weight class.

His loss to Pacquiao might be his wake-up call to further improve more. Let's see what he got on the day of the fight.

If there will be unification fight that will happen in the future, that will be a very good treat to all their boxing fans.
So now, Thurman should really win this fight and accept more challenges before he goes out of the limelight.
We will know who will be the one reigning in their division in the next years' to come. Also, there's upcoming Spence vs Ugas, so let's see.
I hope their respective promoters will not avoid each other, and wait til one of the boxers is older to let the fight happen.
Just look at what happen with Pacquiao vs Mayweather. They should have fought in their younger years.
2469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Intelly Tech - Enhancing property development and real estate on: January 17, 2022, 07:47:39 PM
I am scared of real-estate, mainly due to the fact that same product can have a different buy/sell price with 5 different people
Price manipulation is unlikely. After all, each sale will be recorded in the blockchain, including price records. The agreements between the buyer and the seller are recorded in a Intelly smart contract. And the seller/developer has full trust and clear understanding about when and how many tokens will be transferred to their wallet at what milestones.

This is what I want to see finally in real-estate blockchain projects.
Up until now, I have not seen a sale transaction via blockchain between two parties regarding real-estate.
This is what we are waiting in real-estate industry. How the smart contract will change the real estate business?
There were real-estate focused blockchain projects before, but they haven't reached to the implementation stage.
We know that most people are hesitant to use this kind of service because it has not been proven to be efficient.
But theoretically, it seems simple but we need actual execution here so people will understand how blockchain will revolutionize real-estate industry.
2470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Growth of Bitcoin? on: January 17, 2022, 07:04:39 PM
Bitcoin is not a coin that can be said to be manipulated, it's marketcap has increased to a level beyond to be called manipulate, Bitcoin is not those pump and dump altcoins or shitcoins that can easily be manipulated by whales.

Yes, the so called "whales"(basically just people with a crap ton of BTC) actually do exist, but they can only manipulate the market to a certain extent; but definitely not the case where most people think that they totally control the bitcoin market or something that ludicrous.

But yea, as the marketcrap increases, it's just going to get harder and harder.

Whales can't have total control in this market. They may make a dent at some point, but will not significantly alter the market.
I don't understand why some people are still thinking that this market can easily be manipulated by whales.
A lot of factors are contributing this up and down movement. As more stakeholders are joining this market, expect a roller coaster ride.
We can only see clear manipulation in most small cap alts. Where small buy can tremendously change the percent change in the market.
2471  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: January 17, 2022, 06:28:10 PM
Yeah, I think almost everybody first starts with claiming from faucets when you are new to the cryptoworld. It is easy to start but the rewards are too low for the time you spend on them. Freebitco.in is the only faucet I still claim from time to time because it also offers other things than the faucet.
LOL, I tried freebitco after watching the lucrative promotion of "Win $200 per hour". But sadly, I wasn't able to win an amount that could be withdrawn. That was very disappointing. Well, I was only claiming the hourly faucets. If I can remember correctly, I was far away from the minimum withdrawable amount LOL & eventually I gave up.

But you could try to get closer to that minimum with dices and betting on sports... that whats makes Freebitcoin special, you can do many things! Freebitcoin is the only place where I claim faucet, just because I get those daily free spins, some bet here and there and I am still saving WoF spins, currently at 666! Smiley And while I am there while not to press claim when it's without a captcha!

Aside from that, you can get RPs that you can redeem to increase your claim like free btc bonus or WOF bonus.
Also, if you want to collect FUN tokens, you can as well redeem the fun token bonus. Exploit your RPs. Smiley
It is not limited to the free btc that you can get hourly. Just look for other options to increase your satoshis.
30k sats is not too difficult to achieve if you are not relying on free hourly claim. That would really be tedious.
Try betting also in some of the sports posted or the monthly price prediction of BTC/ETH/FUN using your earned sats.
2472  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥Cryptopcasinos.com Find all the best Crypto Casino&Sports sites in one place! on: January 17, 2022, 05:36:21 PM
@cryptopcasinos, are you sure you are giving 10 star rating to 1xbit?
It says from your page, it is 2022 review, meaning, you recently updated your review.
However, with long list of complaints from this forum alone, I am wondering why you rated them so high?
Also, you have no mention about their existing issues. I hope players will be more cautious these days.

And if you bump or update this thread, you can also include what's new on your site so we know which ones are added.
2473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any website without a dispute here? on: January 17, 2022, 04:58:18 PM
Each casino couldn't please all its users because, to be honest, no matter how reputable a certain casino is, there will still be unexpected lapses and drawbacks from it. Even casino sites with big names could be accused as scam sites especially for those who are having trouble with some issues like KYC, withdrawal, and deposit, or even those who didn't read and understand their term of services completely. These things are common but trusted casino sites are exerting efforts to fix issues that they're facing.

Yes, that's the difference of a reputable casino vs crappy one.
A reputable casino will find a way how to fix the issue, even if most of the time, it is the fault of the player.
But they will still extend help how to resolve the issue and be fair as much as possible with their decisions.
They will also release their official statements regarding the case. Because in some casinos, they will try to avoid the situation.
So here in this forum, if you browse the gambling threads, you will already get the gist on which casinos are worth to play with.
2474  Other / Archival / Re: MAVE.GG | CRYPTO GAMBLING CASINO | CRASH | JACKPOT | CUPS | ROULETTE | FREE $0.1 on: January 17, 2022, 04:18:04 PM
MAVE.GG | CRYPTO GAMBLING CASINO | CRASH | JACKPOT | CUPS | ROULETTE | FREE $0.1

You can rectify the right link of your site in the OP because that is where most users look at.
Are you just bumping your thread by posting the above title thread?
I think, it is better to purchase copper membership and post snapshots of your site in the OP.
Also, for example right now, the number of online person is only one.
Any activities lined up to improve the number of players on the site?
2475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why so negativity for NFT? on: January 16, 2022, 11:33:24 PM
NFT is a new thing that has not been accepted by many people, maybe Nft is hated by some people because they suffer losses from NFT scams, I think that's because NFT is still new and still in the process of being developed and so just wait for the future there will be many people chasing NFT after all the rules are clear.

Most of the hates that the OP is reading maybe owed to those users who got screwed by buying NFT items.
Because the concept itself is actually great, if it is used in appropriate way.
This is like a digital era of art, where if you are an artist, will be a faster way to connect to your patrons.
However, just like any other industry, this is also penetrated by scammers, and you can only prevent from being screwed by doing your own homework.
2476  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 BetFury.io|🎄NY Fest for $400 000|🏎 Win Porsche|💸Rakeback is available on: January 16, 2022, 11:05:35 PM
For those who are focused on promotions they don't like the $200 requirement for each free roll but for those who only focus on gambling it's definitely not a problem. Honestly $200 is a lot less than stake that requires us to wager $1000 for each ticket. After all the choice is ours , whether we join or leave of course with consideration of the prizes offered.
That is basically the whole point of the 200 bucks deal. If you are earning it, then you should be gambling anyway and if you are gambling to earn it, then you should stay away from it. There are so many people who gamble thousands of dollars each day, with or without this promotion and those people will keep on gambling the way they always do and earn something.

If you do not normally gamble this much then it means you should not try to force yourself to gamble 200+ dollars just to get it. That would most probably result with you losing all of your money and it would be silly to lose all of your money for something like that. It's smarter to let whales earn it.

You have very good point on this. If $200 is all that you have, aiming to get free roll is not a smart idea.
But if you are playing without worrying how much you already wagered, then, getting free roll will be like a bonus for you.
As a player, treat this free roll as a freebie from your playing on their games, that's why it is called free roll. Smiley
If you are a small time roller, this would really be hard to achieve. Better don't chase such requirement to get your free roll.
2477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN] Neatio - Blazing Fast, Ultra Secure and ECO Friendly Payment Solution on: January 16, 2022, 10:29:13 PM
As you are promoting an eco-friendly payment solution here, how many merchants already signify their interest to use your coin?
You can start with nearby shops or stores in your area to test the viability of your coin in the payment system.
Once they are happy with the results, they will endorse it to others and that would be free marketing to expand the coverage of your coin.
2478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: NMX Nominex token on: January 16, 2022, 10:01:58 PM
Nominex should have created DEX long time ago, instead of polishing issues with becoming Binance broker. I even start to think that wasting energy and funds on that was a strategical failure. As it created more negative around Nominex exchange, instead of making it more demanded and well known. I still dont get all the benefits users get after Nominex became a broker, when DEX in most people's eyes are free money or passive income right now.

How else they could have provided liquidity for their cex. Dex is whole different project and you can't really build debit cards on it because of regulatory issues. And seems like they are heading for debit card route.

It seems that being binance broker doesn't help in the growth of their token.
But in the recent days, their token is slowly going up.
What I like about this exchange is that they still have no KYC if you are just a small trader.
And so far, I don't have any problem with withdrawal from their site.
2479  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: IS it possible to let your BTC work for you ? on: January 15, 2022, 11:57:39 PM

There are a lot of options out there and it would be safer there than wasting a precious Bitcoin. Take Binance for example which had been offering a lot of staking process using new release altcoins.

Yeah and instead of going through the road of probable scam by forcing yourself to look for bitcoin staking etc, you can go with investing in some other coins and that can be better. Likewise you can buy cheap coins in binance and other exchanges. Binance have some cheap coins, apart from Shiba it has others .

Binance is offering fixed savings or flexible savings when it comes to btc.
Some will say, the interest is not that big, but at least you have assurance that they will not run away.
And they have insurance in place, so your funds are quite secure.
Because if you will just let your satoshis sit in your wallet, it won't increase, but if you will subscribe with their savings, at least get something.
2480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: an opportunity or preliminary start of bear market?? on: January 15, 2022, 11:28:46 PM
many people don't understand where the bears came to the market, even for me sometimes analyzing altcoin charts there are still many mistakes. but it's all at the risk of people trading, making this sharpening skills and learning the science of analyzing charts. what this bullrun always hoped for came when it was time for everyone's hope to wait.?
It's easy to understand the bears. When the prices are too low, that's the indication of the bear but, there goes the misunderstanding about bears, corrections or dips.

When the prices are low, there are those people that will say that we're already in a bear market.

But not actually because those are just small dips that has to pass by.

Just another dip among many dips. And that is always a part of any market.
So this is where traders differ from each other, they have their own strategies on how to take advantage of the market.
Some will panic, whereas, others are silently accumulating valuable coins.
When the bullish season comes, they can always reap their profits.
But for those who panic, they will regret again about the missing opportunity.
So where will you want to place yourself in this market?
