1541  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cashback VS Bonus on: October 10, 2022, 01:07:55 PM
Seems a little confusing. Don't they normally go hand-in-hand?

A casino offers a deposit bonus for a player. And after wagering/ losing, there is cashback/ rakeback.

Normally, a deposit bonus is only for the first deposit or if there are more, maybe up to 3rd deposit.
Whereas, with cashback/rakeback feature, mostly, casinos are offering this as long as you are playing on their casino.
So technically, these 2 features go hand-in-hand. But for deposit bonus, only at the first few deposits.
But if you are going to choose, and you are a heavy gambler, maybe cashback would be a good one.
Because you can enjoy this reward while you are active in the casino. But usually, do take note that the percentage is only very small.
1542  Economy / Economics / Re: Reasons you will remain broke as an adult on: October 09, 2022, 09:34:35 PM
Being broke is a common phenomenon these days, in that the economic value of things has increased with demand, occasioned by looming inflation. Even those who have jobs get broke a week or two after their salary has been paid. It may be due to bad spending habits, bad debt, choosing luxury over assets, and so on.
However, laziness contributes to the lot too. Whereby one doesn't want to dedicate an ample amount of time to learn a trade or skill that will fetch money, instead they chose to relax and sleep or, procrastinate, for reasons they deem fit. Also when one has some money, even though not sufficient, the ability to invest a certain fraction for future or immediate profits is another.
A broke person has no friends mostly a friend who is wealthy. The rich avoid the poor for this same reason of myopic thinking.
If any one remains broke for not having the patience to stay consistent so as to reap reasonable wages, he/she will remain broke. Old age is not as long as one may think, and it comes faster where one doesn't have finance to keep up with times and trends.

In other words, being broke as an adult is like a choice.
Because as you grow older, you will find ways on how to alleviate your economic status.
It is true that you can always find your options how to generate income if you are being diligent about it.
It is not about where you came from, but how you fight for this life as you grow older.
1543  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|BFG on LATOKEN|🚀Stake & Earn $BFG on BabySwap on: October 09, 2022, 08:56:51 PM

They do have one gambling token that is listed on their platform and it is FUN token. I just can't remember when exactly they listed it. But you're right, they should not focus getting listed on binance. There are many reputable exchanges out there like kucoin or ftx. Once their token gets good trading volume on those exchanges and many people demand for binance listing, CZ will definitely notice them and consider to list it on their platform.

FUN tokens got listed on Binance quite a long time ago and way before they were taken over by freebitco.in. it is normal that everyone keeps talking about Binance as they are the biggest and most popular exchange.

But despite being listed in binance, the price of FUN also declines in terms of satoshis.
It means, being listed in the top exchange, doesn't give an assurance that a gambling token will continuously increase its price.
It is also affected by the current market and how the token progresses its developments.
So for me, if betfury will provide more value to their BFG token, that would be best rather than chasing on listing it with the top exchange.
Because it will easily follow its listing if they are seeing the actual demand of BFG and the interest it is getting from the traders.
1544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Namibia Now Accepts Bitcoin As Payment on: October 09, 2022, 07:50:32 PM
Namibia is country located on southwest Africa and seems not really familiar on our hear depending economic condition or another great technology have by this country. Appreciated with southwest Namibia decision to make Bitcoin as legal and accepted currency payment but not have any big impact to make Bitcoin can reach higher price. Still dominance with small country have lower economic condition for legalizing bitcoin as payment currency from El Savador until with new country accepted Bitcoin is Namibia.

Comparison could be 10 small countries accepted Bitcoin as payment currency still not give positive impact with one highest country have good reputation their economic if want accepted Bitcoin. Slowly will have another new country accepted Bitcoin later and actually with many advantage get by using Bitcoin I believe on next time will have many countries accepted and make Bitcoin become legal currency payment.

Small countries are open-minded with this change in approach towards bitcoin because it is quite easy to implement to their people.
But we can't disregard their impact in the market. Because if neighboring countries are seeing its positive impact to their economy,
who knows which country will follow their path?
It may not have significant impact to the market but people will change their perspectives towards crypto if they are seeing success with such initiative.
You won't know who or what institutions they will be influenced if they are showing successful outcome because of this move.
1545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: October 09, 2022, 07:00:11 PM
Jerwin has to move up, he has no power in this fight, he adjusted well, but unfortunately, he wasn't fast and he does not have volume punches. The same result in their first meeting, it was very clear that once again he was still dominated by Martinez.

Congratulations to Martinez, and to the bettors who took Martinez to win via decision.

We have seen that Martinez deserved the belt after this second match.
Some were thinking because of Ancajas' weight issues, why the first match was won by Martinez.
But here, Ancajas already seemed to be prepared and yet, he failed to get back his belt.
Let us see what the next plans of Ancajas' camp now that he didn't get the belt this time around.
Seems that he should move to the bantamweight division and maybe he will excel again in this sports.
1546  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The sole difference is capital. on: October 08, 2022, 09:48:33 PM
When it comes to trading, capital makes the difference. For it hits me hard to know that same energy and technicality put in making about $500 is also synonymous to making a million dollars or more in trading.
If we look back to our series of successful trades most of us would have made tremendous profits running in millions if it was on a good capital start.

And I agree with myself that when it comes to trading, for good traders the difference in our profit making level is in the capital and not necessarily put on number of successful trades executed.
It boils down to say the difference is just capital.
No it's not. You can definitely hvae more gains if you know how to play the game, the capital is just another factor to make you win. I don't think it's always the capital that matter, I think what matters in trading was the patience, your behavior, and the strategy you use to get those successful trades before you matter on profit.

You could have a big amount of capital and lose a lot due to a lack of skills but you could also gain huge profits with only a small amount of capital. As for me, capital is important but skills and knowledge about trading matter the most. Capital will only be wasted if a trader isn't knowledgeable about what he's doing. How you deal with every market situation also has a huge point in the success of your trading journey. It isn't always about how big is your starting funds but how skilled you are before trading.

Definitely right! No matter how much you have, if you have no skills and knowledge in this market, you won't be successful.
This is why most of the successful traders start from scratch and small beginnings. They are not millionaires to begin with.
As they go thru their trading journey, they acquired those skills, tips, tricks and other valuable insights that they can use to empower their trading strategies.
If you will start big without those acquired skills, you can easily go bankrupt. You need to equip yourself to go to the battle so to speak.
1547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Online casino/gambling projects on: October 08, 2022, 09:19:49 PM
I am starting to have this crazy interest in crypto gambling projects like online casinos and stuff but I want to ask, this utility have been around for years but is there any old project that live this long and still functions?

Also what are the things that kills such project because even one or two survived for long I don't see many alive till now, they fail easily or turn scam later.
What kills a certain old reputable gambling site or platform?

1. Withdrawal issues
2. Shady results or simply talks about fairness
3. Altering their terms and conditions

As long on anything that do really touch up trust issues or simply breaking one of the most important thing then this is where bad impression starts.
Community is really that highly reactive when it comes to this manner. If they do saw somethings off or not usual then expect on what
would be the upcoming words or sentiments to be thrown out.

If they won't resolve their existing problems, gamblers will start to doubt the reputation of the site.
But I have seen one old casino here, with frequent problem of withdrawal issues, delayed payment and slow response from the owners.
And yet, they are still up and running. If you are long enough in the forum, you may know which casino I am talking about.
But most of the time, if the casino starts giving issues with withdrawals, people start to avoid using such casino.
1548  Economy / Gambling / Re: FortuneJack experience so far so good but I have a few questions on: October 08, 2022, 11:57:19 AM
I have been disbursing more time on FortuneJack this days since it's been suggested to me on this forum but a question pop up in my head today and I think its better to ask, (1) Binance exchange has collateral fund in case any hack takes place or users lose funds, is there any gambling website that has the same just in case? (2) is there any gambling website that got hacked and reimbursed their users in the past and they still functioning till date?.
IMHO, gambling sites doesn't have feature like SAFU but they don't keep all the funds in their hot wallets, most of the investors funds will be moved to the cold storage so its like 70 to 80% of their funds will be safe even in the total hack. But the question you asked is really urging so in future casinos will have feature like this to make their customers feel safe and lure more people with such satisfied customers?

I also believe the reason why there's nothing like SAFU in gambling sites is because they really do move their funds to their cold storage.
There may be abuses in terms of bonuses or rewards, but hacking is not very often you can hear from gambling sites.
If in case of hacking incident, I think they are fast enough to detect the anomaly.
Though there was one gaming site, Axie Infinity, where hackers got away $620M in crypto.

1549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anderson Silva vs Jake paul who you bet on? on: October 08, 2022, 08:33:03 AM
Does exhibition or such close-to-a-professional fight even gets any kind of testing? I mean what for? This is not a real fight, but more an entertainment event. For spectators, it does not matter if one of the fighters use steroid; they would even accept steroids usage, because that will make fight more challenging, exciting, entertaining. People dont go to see this (or buy PPV) to find out who is stronger or better boxer. They are there to see how "ma boy is doing".

I searched a little bit about exhibition matches and what rules applied to them.
So I found in this one article - What is an exhibition fight in boxing?

https://lawofthefist.com/what-is-an-exhibition-fight-in-boxing/

You can also see the 6 interesting rules of the boxing match between Mayweather and Logan Paul-
https://www.sportstiger.com/news/no-judges-check-out-6-interesting-rules-of-floyd-mayweather-vs-logan-paul-exhibition-boxing-match

From the above rules, you can really conclude that they are not worth betting as mostly they won't proclaim the official winner.
Most of the time, they ruled it as a draw. So yes, whatever they do to their body won't really matter at all.
Because it is seen as just pure entertainment and fun, and possibly helping a charity organization, they are more relax with the rules and vary from one match to another.
1550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: THE ARMOR : New crypto crash game. on: October 07, 2022, 08:51:33 PM
You don't have any terms and conditions, privacy policy for your casino game? I think it's important to know what are the grounds the player are into and what they are sharing here especially data privacy kind of stuff. I can only see two usernames there but their avatar are clearly not the same, was that only an example?

This is what I was looking for also. Because you need at least the terms and conditions, so every player knows what to comply.
Because if not, no reference is found if someone got any issue, and they don't know what to do.
The casino also can confiscate the funds from the player without any reference of their violation because they don't have the list.
If the OP won big here, well, we can't say if he is just promoting their site or he is indeed a player on this site.
For now, it is better to take precautions as they have important features lacking.
1551  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you ready to spend crypto when market is down on: October 06, 2022, 09:55:26 PM
Even on bull market, I don’t want to spend my crypto because I already consider this as investment and I know in the future this can be more expensive. Cryptocurrency is not just meant as a currency anymore, it became a store of value and we cannot blame many for this doing because they can really earn more instead of spending it. The trauma of buying pizza with Bitcoin before might be one of the reason why many rarely spend their crypto for this kind of purposes.

Unfortunately, not all crypto users can afford to keep their crypto in their wallets for long time.
So for me, it depends on your financial capability here. I am also spending my crypto if I needed it.
Thought the thought of increasing its price in the future is always there, I just think that I spend it for good reasons.
So when I spend it, I know I should not regret it later on.
No matter what the market is, if you believe you are spending it for good reasons, then for me, it is worth to take.
1552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lack of bug bounties from gambling platforms on: October 06, 2022, 09:08:38 PM
There were some casinos had such bug bounties but I cant really remember the names.
These days it is indeed rare to see casinos open a bug bounty publicly but I think most casinos has their own policy about bug bounty so if there is someone who find significant bug in the casino then he/she may contact them privately.
I believe it is how it works now, if you find a bug (serious one), better for you to contact them through the support and ask them if they have reward for anyone who find a serious bug.
Other possibility why it is lack of bug bounties now is that most casinos had tested their own platform well, perhaps they hired the best person to check the platform before the launch.
It makes them confident enough that there is no more bug in platform so they do not need to run bug bounties.

Yes, there were few. I remember one, exbet.io, they offered some users to test their site for possible bugs.
I believe they gave a lil bit amount to test their site and report whatever they find issues or bugs before the actual launching.
But not many new sites are doing this kind of effort. For some long-time casinos, they may have their own security team running such tests.
Because these large casinos with large number of players as well as bankroll amount, definitely, they have certain department taking care of these troubles or possible issues.
1553  Economy / Gambling / Re: Metaspins.com - Crypto casino - Up to 57% Rakeback Wager - free on: October 06, 2022, 08:30:06 PM
First, I want to say.. Welcome to the forum, its nice having you guys here.
I checked the casino out and I must say you have a very nice UX design and a user friendly interface, signing up is also very good and speedy, took me less than a minute to sign up, and I notice you guys do not require users to verify the email address they are signing up with - wouldn't this cause problems in tht future?

And I wish to comment on this part I screenshot and uploaded below, do you guys offer the ability to switch or swap between crypto  coins inside the casino? If yes, then I think this is unique (as I've not come across any casino with such a feature) and will make your casino stand out.
-

I am not very sure about the switching of coins inside the casino, because it doesn't have exchange tab.
But they do have buy tab, where you can use Onramper and Changelly third party services.

Also, do note that whatever coin you will deposit is the same coin you can withdraw as per their Terms - Section 12.
So it doesn't mean that if you deposit BTC, you can withdraw TRX or LTC. You can withdraw BTC also, same deposit coin.
1554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just Passing Through and saw this on: October 06, 2022, 07:37:40 PM
Is that really your picture? Since it’s already been posted on reddit yesterday. And the picture content isn’t really a new thing even with much less developed countries are accepting cryptocurrencies in stores and transactions
Link to reddit

Good catch. But benefit of the doubt, don't know if the OP is the same reddit user who posted this.
In any case, I believe we will see more of this advertisement as bitcoin is getting popular.
Before, there were so many negative rants towards bitcoin, why many establishments were not promoting it.
But when more and more influential people are getting into crypto like Elon, or country like El Salvador making it legal tender,
people slowly tone down their negative criticisms towards btc, instead, they are trying to check out this market already.
1555  Economy / Gambling / Re: Professional Roadbike Cycling on: October 05, 2022, 09:50:25 PM
This thread is one of the best options for casinos to begin to see the reliability of those who are fans of cycling, I have been talking to many people who like road cycling at high levels, tour de France, tour de Italy, return to Spain, there are also some local cycling championships that are located in some places even in South America that are very famous, and that makes them unique, the only thing I still can't understand is how you can make predictions for cycling On betting sites, because there are so many cyclists that it is quite difficult to find one, I think it could be betting on a particular team.

As we can see, cycling is one of the sports that is indeed hard to bet on because there are so many players.
In my opinion, if you want a better chance of winning your bet, look for bookies which are offering head to head betting.
So if you are rooting for certain cyclist, find his/her name and to whomever he/she is paired in the betting line.
Hard to bet with all the cyclists as the chance of winning is very slim in that manner.
If I will bet on this sports, I would go for Head2Head, and bet on who I am familiar with.
You also don't know all of them so hard to determine their chance in winning.
1556  Economy / Economics / Re: Currencies are Collapsing Everywhere. on: October 05, 2022, 09:06:35 PM
It's quite common for high inflation regime. It effectively reduces the purchasing power of any currency. Imports become costlier, internal transportation cost increases and the same trend follows for the commodities. There are couple of ways to control it and central banks everywhere are taking actions accordingly.

Now I see some people are vouching for CBDC to control it but you need 5o understand that CBDC is just a digital version of the main currency so it's not helpful either. But this is the best time to enter into stock market for medium to long term.

But if you are going to invest in the stock market, you need familiarity what stocks are worth investing long term.
In that case, you need to understand also their market performance throughout the years and their possible future.

the value of the currency continues to decline in value. even that happens continuously from year to year. not just when there is inflation. But now inflation is getting worse, so inflation makes the decline in value faster than usual. that's why storing the value of assets in fiat money is a risky thing if stored for a long time. we can see the decline in value from the price of gold. if 20 years ago gold was not as high as it is now. well now the price of gold really continues to increase albeit slowly. and it's not actually the gold price that has increased but the value of the currency has decreased. because the value of gold is still fixed. and the value of money decreases, it looks like the value of gold has increased. when in fact the value of the fiat is decreasing.

Diversification of your funds, will help you keep afloat during this high inflation.
And one is investing in gold and other valuable metals. You can also take a look in real estate properties.
Because if you think the price of gold is not really increasing, real estate however, continues to increase over the years.
1557  Economy / Economics / Re: We should separate the markets for Bitcoin* and centralized altcoins on: October 05, 2022, 11:41:21 AM
Coinmarketcap is comparing and ranking market caps. That's all. Coinmarketcap doesn't compare and rank blockchains.
Do you really think that the Coinmarketcap team cares about which cryptocurrency is decentralized and which one is centralized?
AFAIK, the business model of platforms like Coinmarketcap partially relies on listing fees, that are paid by the altcoin/shitcoin/token creators.
The more coins paying listing fees the better for Coinmarketcap. "Don't hate the player, hate the game."
The crypto exchange platforms are all about buying and selling cryptocurrencies. The crypto exchange platforms don't care about which blockhain is PoW and which one is PoS. The platforms simply want their trading and transaction fees.
Should Bitcoin be divided from the centralized altcoins? This division definitely won't stop the endless comparisons between Bitcoin and the altcoins. I think that this is a pointless idea.

As far as I know, listing in coinmarketcap is free, so long you are complying with their listing requirements.

https://support.coinmarketcap.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043659351-Listings-Criteria

There is also a short article stating that their listing is always free = https://coinmarketcap.com/alexandria/article/coinmarketcap-listing-is-free

So don't know where you got the info that they are accepting fees here. It has been known that listing here is free.
Before, you only need at least 2 exchanges where your coin is being traded at and other basic requirements.
Right now, I believe, they are stricter as there are so many crap coins coming in so they are more thorough with their requirements.
1558  Economy / Gambling / Re: Decentraly.co - Your Place for Crypto Sites on: October 04, 2022, 09:26:26 PM
Big updates nearly finished guys!!!

The Update will contain many improvements on the code, performance should be much better!

Furthermore I am working on some other changes to provide you a better experience  Smiley

Thanks for all the suggestions so far making this project really enjoyable for me!

Nice list, I am really curious to see the update  Cool
I too would be interested to see how OP completes his list.  And what is meant here: there will be new data on new casinos, or we will only see updated data on those sites that are on the list now.  Of course, the users of our forum would like to see up-to-date data for a large number of sites.  Then the OP's list will get more traffic and actually be useful to all of us.
But I understand that keeping the data up-to-date is a rather time-consuming process in any such review.
And I wish OP not to lose efficiency and enthusiasm.  Then everything with his site will be fine. Smiley

So are we going to see some actual reviews from those list later on?
Because right now, anyone can make a list of those casinos, but what sets you apart should be authentic reviews based from your experience.
Let us say, you have top 5 slot sites. What are the parameters or features that made them in the top list?
As we have no idea what factors are you considering to make those casinos in your list. Should at least give us some valid reasons why they made it in the list.
1559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does new projects succeed in bear on: October 04, 2022, 11:48:58 AM
The bear market has been a good entering to buy on a new project like this that market has not been pump, yet is a good opportunity to new investors to come into the board while waiting for market to range well for the next bull run market trading.

Investing in this season requires patience and hard work. Hard work in terms of diligently doing your assessment with regard to the potential of the project.
Some new projects are worth taking a look if they do have valuable mission and vision and if they are really serious in implementing their objectives.
In such case, it means, you should not follow where the hype is but ask yourself vital questions like if they can survive in this market?
Because if they do have sincere intentions, they will accomplish the items on their roadmap and see to it that they are providing valuable services to the community.
So the answer is yes, as long as this new project has authentic mission to implement their goals for this project. But you need to be updated with their progress.
1560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mexico is the next El Salvador? on: October 04, 2022, 05:31:46 AM
-
Mexico got 128million population right now and El Salvador got around 7 million population according to Google.
-

The huge difference in population will make a difference when it comes to adoption.
If in case their politicians will push thru with this initiative, this will give a very good boost with the crypto market, not only with bitcoin.
But will the Mexican government ready to abandon their Mexican peso?
Otherwise, they can regulate the existence of bitcoin and other alts in their financial market, so the adoption will further increase.
Because some of their citizens will see it as positive if the government is having positive approach towards this market and they have laws in place.
