2481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: January 15, 2022, 10:31:38 PM

But what if Ugas will win. It's a big upset.

Can't imagine for now that we will see a banner of Ugas vs Crawford as everybody is eyeing for Spence to win.

Ugas has to prove that, but for me, I think Ugas will lose because his style is easy to read. Since Spence is stronger and a heavy puncher than him, then I would expect that his defensive style of boxing will be broken down by the punches of Spence. Well, Spence losing the fight is also possible, but as long as it's a clean and entertaining fight, I would still be happy to see a Ugas vs Crawford duel in the future.

If in case, this will be another upset. That would be a terrible one for Spence Jr.
But in this fight, Spence Jr has a lot of advantages over Ugas.
This is why we are seeing that people are favoring Spence Jr over Ugas.
I believe even bookies will favor Spence here once they release the odds.
But would be interesting to watch as they fight for these unification belts.
2482  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do people overestimate BTC? on: January 15, 2022, 12:05:41 AM
Now that we are in 2022 is 100k per BTC still possible? It seems no one is talking about this price anymore and now BTC is fighting at the 40k range, what do you think could still happen? Also it seems like altcoins have no high chances again unless BTC do the impossible

It sounds funny to think about $100k right now, maybe people learned a lot about what had happened of btc price lastly. They're more fanatic of it, but overestimating the situation depends on how it works with the bullish trend. Everytime there's a huge pump, I believed people only ride with the trending movement and not exactly how they value the future market outbreak.

Maybe, people are more realistic now on looking at things.
Yes, 100k is possible but it will not be happening anytime soon.
So right now, most are just looking at the possible prices of btc more on short-term basis.
And also, maybe a lot also figured out that there's no point of predicting the btc price at a higher rate if you based on the current market situation.
2483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do Casinos ask for so much during withdrawal? on: January 14, 2022, 11:32:54 PM
Why is it that when a player wins and wants to withdraw their winning the casino will begin to ask for info like source of funds, KYC etc.
First of all, what casinos do you mean? Online casinos or physical casinos?
If you mean online casinos, not all casinos platforms do the same way. Some casinos may not really care about your source of funds, but for KYC it is normal to ask by them. Even centralized crypto exchanges, also require KYC for their members. The purpose is not only to secure the funds, but the KYC is a basic thing to have by common platforms nowadays. Anyway, if you don't pass KYC, you can move to other casinos which never require KYC, if any.

But they careless about asking for those information when the player is losing money in the platform.
What for? They won't send money to the losers.  Huh

Maybe, if you have big winnings, why not try withdrawing smaller funds at intermittent intervals?
Because if you do really withdraw all at once, the casino may really notice your account.
Most casinos have their ToS stating that they will require verification if it deems necessary.
In this case, it is their prerogative to ask the player if for them, your account suddenly withdraw large amount.
As a player, as much as possible don't make any reason that will make the casino suspicious about your account.
2484  Economy / Gambling / Re: Vikingbet.io launched this week. on: January 14, 2022, 10:36:39 PM
I really don't see why people are annoyed with their domain expiration. It’s more than 1 month left for renew. Why so serious? However, what I have observed is there's definitely something wrong with their management. They are not giving priority to the suggestion, no response from them which means not a professional one. I would rather stay away from this.
That wouldn't be a big issue if they were at least active replying to comments on this thread since it was created two days ago. I can't accuse vikingbet.io of anything, maybe they are just being careless with details such as domain expiration date, while being excited and concerned about another aspects of their casino launchment. But now that it was pointed out, it should be renewed faster as possible, otherwise many gamblers aren't going to give the site a try. If vikingbet.io really wants to grow and stay competitive on this forum I suppose they should designate a manager to take care the main thread with updates and to answer members' posts in real time. It gives a lot of credibility, especially at the beginning.

As they find this forum, sooner or later, they will realize that active involvement with the community here will be for their benefits sake.
I hope the OP will come back sooner and read all the posts, suggestions by the users.
As stated on their site, they have Curacao gaming license already. But if possible, if they can publish the logo along with the link.
It is too early to judge this site, so let us wait for the OP to post here again and let's see what he says.
2485  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: North Korean Hackers Stole Nearly $400 Million in Crypto Last Year on: January 13, 2022, 11:59:04 PM
The trend nowadays is not in bitcoin alone, but on ETH and ERC20 tokens. People have been swarming these projects like ants finding a food source for the first time. Most of these people are just urged to buy in to crypto, and don't really have sufficient knowledge to carry themselves in this kind of world yet, which makes them easy targets to hackers. Also, the projects these same people support are scams too, which is not really surprising considering how no one really bats an eye whenever a rug pull happens on these projects.

Hackers will always find a way where to get their money.
So if they are seeing that other networks like ETH have valuable amounts and they see their vulnerability.
They will try and try. After all, they are after for the money that they can siphon on these networks.
And they will only cash out if they know it will not be traced back to them. This is why it would take years before they move it.
But are we really sure that they are North Koreans? It means, NK are having sophisticated tools to hack crypto platforms.
2486  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Huge crypto scam that happened last year(2021) on: January 13, 2022, 11:27:24 PM
Actually every year there will always be bad cases about crypto, whether it's a fraud, crypto scam, or others and last year was a bad year for people who have been deceived and failed in the crypto world. There are many modes of fraud here which in essence make crypto lovers get big losses. Learning from the scam coins that are circulating in the market, we have to be even more careful in investing in the coins that we choose, especially if we decide to invest with big capital. Always search and research first so we can confirm whether the coin is worth it or not.

Even long-timers in crypto are not exempted as victims of these fraudulent projects.
Every year, we will encounter new hype, so these scammers will take advantage of the opportunity.
As people aim to get high profits, they will lure these individuals with the promise of good profits.
So if the offering is too-good-to-be-true, better doubt their intentions.
Don't fall from from their tactics, because the bottomline is, you are in-charge of securing your funds.
2487  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When Greed Comes First in Trading, the Result is Bankruptcy on: January 12, 2022, 11:58:31 PM
As we all are very much familiar with the best quote Greed is a curse and we still knew about that greed with more and more money to make it in less time, but the way investors treat is that they should make it very clear in a first way that selling a little amount and crying after that won't do anything, so mostly holding is a better choice in trading.
Greed is not bad at all but you must know to distinguish which is bad and which is not. Right now, its ok to become more greedy on buying Bitcoin because its cheap but of course you must stay within your limits, and know that greed can be more ok if you’re on a limit. In trading, the risk is always there and being greedy might be more risky that’s why you should only trade when necessary and not because of your greed and negative emotion, you can’t trade with that emotion. Holding is another big thing though.
Perhaps, greed can be found in all of us, maybe some people are too greedy that leads to doing not good. What is most important is that we can decide which one is fair and which one is not. That seems not so hard if we really think about doing good and to know our limitations, as these too greedy people will do things in a harsh way just to fulfill their wants but unfortunately, they usually ended being a loser.

That is very important to know our actions and think if this is acceptable or not. As to let this emotion goes out, that is hard to stop.
Well that is a human instinct and has existed even before, the urge of making a profit is not that wrong as long as you will not follow your emotion while in trading. That is why when I was in trading, I have a trading plan and I stick to it whatever happen. Because if you don't have a trading plan, the result could be out of emotions and greediness will follow. We should have also control ourselves to that human instinct though we are a human because that will lead us from bankruptcy.

But most of the time, that plan is ignored once you are already in action.
You tend to follow what you feel at that moment and that is indeed a mistake.
You should also assess your actions here, because if you will not review what you have done, you will incur the same mistakes again and again.
Greed will always be a part of our life, but it is on us how we will lessen or avoid such virtue to overpower our emotions.
2488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Venice Swap ICO - (VENICE) - One-Stop Experience Exchange and Swap on: January 12, 2022, 11:28:45 PM
-
Stay with us because the team is working on an amazing project and with the launch of this project the crypto community will be blessed with a great experience.

In road map for feb 2022 Launch of Venice Swap Exchange is marked which is really big step for the project. Hope all will go on and project will develop as we always need fair platforms for investing in a working businesses Wink

Yes the team is ready to launch the exchange in Feb 2022 with full features. We are also ready for huge marketing to increase the community on our platform.

Regarding your centralized exchange, will it be under the jurisdiction of a Central Bank, and where?
Because most centralized exchanges are now requiring KYC owed to government regulations.
So with your CEX, are you going to require KYC for all users or you will have certain limits where you require KYC?
2489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting or casino? on: January 12, 2022, 10:43:18 PM
The biggest income earner is in the sports betting industry, so I would go with the majority of gamblers and I'll pick sports betting. It's a matter of interest as the basic requirement for a sports bettors are knowing and the interest in sports, without that you'll not fall in love with sports betting.

This is very right, going into sportsbetting is like you live and breath a particular sport.
If you are very familiar with at least one sports, the chance of winning in my opinion is quite high.
Unlike classic casino games, sportsbetting is not totally based on luck, it depends on how well you are acquainted with the sports.
So if you do know one particular sports and you're good at it, it is better to focus on sportsbetting rather than those luck-based games.
2490  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1xbit scam me more then 2000 euros on: January 11, 2022, 11:51:48 PM
Seems like having a shitty reputation here is not hurting their business too much...

I'm not so sure about that. First of all, I doubt that they will get any new players from this forum. Their main thread in the gambling board is filled with mostly scam accusations and a few shills who relentlessly post baloney because they get paid for it. Secondly, when we google "1xbit scam", we find that Bitcoin Talk (with a list of a number of scam accusation topics) ranks first. I believe this should discourage at least some uninformed players from playing at this scam casino.

So I think we are doing a good job here and these scammers will regret ever coming back to this forum.

They are banking on non-forum users to attract players to their site.
As we have seen here, OP is a newbie. So it seems he just went here when he was screwed by the site.
If only gamblers will at least do their own due diligence, because they can use the quick search, then, they will already have an idea.
So I tried to use the "1xbit scam" on google search and you will already see an overview of the btctalk threads about 1xbit

2491  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin collapse or mature? on: January 11, 2022, 10:57:48 PM
There's no reason why bitcoin will collapse at the present or in the future as its even gaining higher value every year. The current dump is part of the cycle and its always expected after reaching an all time high or before reaching its new peak. I guess those who believed that bitcoin will collapse are more focus on the current events without even knowing that this has happened a lot of times in the past years but still, bitcoin withstand it all and is even seen in a much higher value after a long dump.
There are some people who confuse the situation of a crash and a drop versus collapse. Crash is when the price goes down 50% or so, it needs to be huge, it needs to really disturb the market and we had that in 2021 when price moved from 64k to under 30k at some point and we recovered after that but still it happened.

Correction or drop is when the price goes lower like this, it is only like 10%, you could say 15% or even 20% and it will still not be a huge deal. Whereas collapse is when the price really goes down a lot, like I mean really a lot and that is when we are talking about something that is dangerously low, like maybe even zero which will never happen if you ask me. This is why I believe people should learn the difference between them.
What happens is that people are trying to use stock market standards in the market of cryptocurrencies without taking into account this market is way more volatile.

For example if there was a 10% drop in the stock market in a single day it would be a news that will reach every single corner of the world in a heartbeat, however bitcoin going down that much in a single day is barely worth to worry over it for those that have been in this market for a long time and have seen bitcoin moving like that over and over again.

The use of the term collapse here is somewhat strong for btc.
You are right that here in this market, we have seen countless times of up and down movement.
With more than a decade of existence in the market, I believe we are heading more in the maturity side rather than the collapse situation.
Just consider the companies and merchants that are already in this market. And day by day, the users are increasing in number.
We may see the up and down movement, which is pretty normal, but collapse? I don't think so.
2492  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell a little bitcoin now to get into alts when it all drops soon? on: January 10, 2022, 09:56:43 PM
Those who are still holding Bitcoin in large quantities in their portfolio are really trying. As the market is falling we should endeavor to get altcoins which has strong management team and unique liquidity to scale through when the market recovers. This is the best time to keep buying as the . market goes down, not just a single project but different one.
I know it's always better if we can diversify our portfolio as much as we can, but selling bitcoin just to enter in a more risky investment which is investing in altcoins, i think that won't work for me. I have been struggling in the past just to own bitcoin and now that i have it already, i won't never sell it at a very low price. I think i will have more chances to buy altcoins when the market will fall even more, so i think i will only wait for that time.

The main concern also here is that the OP is quite new to this market.
So right now, would be hard for him to spot valuable alt projects because it would take time and experience before you spot one.
The better thing to do right now, is observe the market, and do your study with these popular alts, assess their potential in the market.
Hold to your btc for the moment. And once you are quite confident with yourself, and learn more about the value of investing alts, then, you can slowly diversify your portfolio.
Better stick to alts that have tangible use case or application rather than new alts that are still promising to deliver their goals.
2493  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: January 10, 2022, 09:17:27 PM

Maybe if they added more earnings alternatives besides the traditional faucet, like micro jobs offers, it would be already an extra incentive for new users to stay more time on the platform, what would also boost the referral program. What happens right now is that common users who are trying to make some extra income online see no point in claiming 4-5 satoshis every hour and dice or slots aren't enough to keep them active, as they lack money to deposit and play. Promotional codes shared at this forum thread or social medias to give users extra rewards would be also an interesting bonus to attract more members to freebitco.in.

While adding microjobs might be a good idea, I don't think it really fits in their 'business'. Nowadays it is just very difficult to find new referrals on freebitco.in as it is the oldest faucet around and the most popular one. Finding referrals, keeping them active is always the challenging part (on every site). On freebitco.in you also have the opportunity to share some of your commissions with your referrals, so that can be one way to keep your referrals active.

I think freebitco is still doing good at what they do.
Because if you look at the leaderboard in the wagering contest, you will be overwhelmed at how much the players are wagering here.
Though we don't know how much is their initial deposits but still the amount is big. Because you can't bet that much if your bankroll is small.
What am I trying to say here is that freebitco for now may not be looking for other features of their site because they are still generating good income.
And I don't think deploying microjobs on their site would add value to their site, because you can already check this out in other sites.
2494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Teaching your kids to gamble. on: January 10, 2022, 08:48:26 PM
The truth is that whether parents give their children gambling education or not the children will still know about gambling and since a proper lesson was not giving to them they may do it anyhow they like because they were not taught in the rightfull way on how to gamble.
We as parents does know the risk of gambling specially in talks of addiction but we do able to handle it out thats why its up to your choice whether you do teach them about gambling and tell them at young age that it isnt really good to deal with it because its a waste of money but of course you should really be showing that you arent doing it for yourself because if they do then those guidance would really be just useless because
they would really put up into their minds that on things what you are doing would be definitely considered to be right! Therefore, you would need to hide that activity if you are really that serious
on not for letting them know but just like been said by other users that time will come they would discover it out.

They need a good example if you don't want your kids to go into gambling.
They may encounter it at some point in their lives, where you have no control of.
But if they have solid upbringing and discipline in life, they can always hold onto it.
If they are already mature individuals, they would know how to decide for themselves.
But the good foundation will assist them on how to decide for themselves if they are out of their parents' sights.
2495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: January 10, 2022, 08:01:31 PM
The virus is spreading everywhere, changing the venue wouldn't help because they are also looking for a venue that will attract a lot of people, and IMO Japan is the best venue as the Japanese will definitely support their own even though they know that GGG is the better fighter. As the omicron virus continues to disrupt the world, let's hope the cases will be minimize so this fight will eventually purpose, hopefully in the 1st quarter of the year.
With the Japanese government's firmness on this I feel this is a pretty good measure to prevent the spread from spreading, but on the other hand we also have to be willing to wait for delays like this fight.
actually I was really looking forward to this but indeed we won't be able to do much because instead of taking risks with a virus like this maybe it's better to just follow the advice from the government

Seems that this first quarter of the year is not looking good because of the omicron variant.
We may see this fight in the second or third quarter of this year.
But while waiting, GGG and Murata can prepare for their upcoming fight.
GGG is already in his 40s, so let's see if he can still wait this long and still have the power inside the ring.
It may be GGG's last hurrah inside the boxing arena. So yes, this is quite interesting to watch.
2496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀 [ANN] Stabila Public Chain (STB) | Decentralize the financial system. 🚀 on: January 10, 2022, 07:25:28 PM
helo sir, i have some question for this project.

where i can find an exchange for STB? i haven't found any exchange which accept STB.
is this blockchain only used for stablecoin?
Stabila [STB] is not listed at the date of this reply. A listing announcement will follow in Feb.

Implemented digital assets on the Stabila blockchain: stablecoins, tokenized securities [*pending legal opinion], wrapped BTC, and ETH.

So it means you will integrate those assets as SRC-10 right?
But are you in collaboration with exchanges to include your SRC-10 network?
Because you need participation from these exchanges in order for the user to transfer one asset to another exchange using your network.
And what are we looking at fees here, like for example compare the USDT (TRC20) to USDT(SRC10) or USDT(ERC20) vs USDT(SRC10)?
2497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gary Russell vs Mark Magsayo WBC Featherweight Title on: January 10, 2022, 06:49:27 PM
Obviously, even the sport bookies are really underestimating the underdog (Magsayo), we can just see it just by looking the odds but we can't deny the fact that as of now, Gary Russell is the champion so it's really apparent that he's listed as the favorite.
I will really take this advantage and chance as I know that Magsayo will likely be declared winner of this fight, this man already got what it takes to defeat Russell and he definitely has the talent and capabilities to be an exceptional boxer.

That's quite a huge value for your money, if Magsayo win this fight that's an awesome odd that the bookies is providing for him as an underdog, fans will surely take this one and risk their money not just because they are betting but they do believe that Magsayo can upset the current champ.

It's a matter of good anticipation and a risk-taking capabilities. We see lots of upsets that happened last year. Who knows that flows
will continue.. Roll Eyes Tongue

The odds are really good for Magsayo. So for those who believe this will be an upset, this is a very good one to bet on.
Russell is the favorite of bookies here because of his record, but upsets can happen anytime.
Almost x4 for most bookies if you put your money on Magsayo, so let's see if this will not change once the fight is getting near.
The KO percentage is 70% vs 56%, in favor of Magsayo. So yes, this is not bad to based on.
2498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the next big industry move? on: January 10, 2022, 05:51:47 PM
Cryptocurrency and technology development increase day by day.I Think NFT will be move the next big industry. NFTs and metaverse by the gambling site in cryptospace in their main stable coin currency.

I believe it will be very much near NFT will be move in next industry.
NFT can also be the fastest breakthrough for the gambling business

the concept could be that the player has to buy the NFT casino to play or those who have NFT can play slots a few rounds for free

NFT and Metaverse are things that gambling businesses should and will adopt, who refuse to adopt both will not be able to compete

As we are seeing now, some casinos are now adopting the concept of NFT and metaverse.
However, some old casinos are just happy for what they have because they have their loyal patrons in place already.
But, if these gamblers will find out that casinos with integrated NFT and metaverse concepts will give them good profits, they will surely flock to this kind of casino.
So yes, casinos should take a look also into this new hype as they may be left behind as our technology is getting advanced.

Make your bet  Cool
About the XRP suggestion, we already contacted our team to evaluate the possibility of adding this crypto.

Thanks for the feedbacks.

Good to see that you also respond to suggestions from the community here and even implement them in many cases.
I think a good community is important for the success of a company.

I have been following Futuur since the beginning and also participated in the "test campaign".
And I can only say that everything is developing in a great direction.
I wish you continued success.

Now, we are seeing that the futuur rep here is more active in the forum.
The more active people will see you here, the better as they will be encouraged to place their bets.
If in case they will encounter any issue, they know that they can easily reach out to you.
Maybe, add some type of contest or race here so bettors will be motivated to bet in those available betting lines.

rare???

shitcoins are not rare. LOL

They have a lot to prove here because most gold-related projects are indeed trash.
Even if we say they have very low supply, it would take years before they can claim that their coin is rare and valuable.
The price and trading volume in the current exchanges are also low.
Also, not all low supply coin can be considered rare. It depends on the value that it has established in the market.
They are aiming to reach their "high" goals this 2023. But are they going to survive after this year?
