2501  Economy / Lending / Re: Min 0.01 btc needed 10 days 0.013 return on: March 06, 2018, 06:32:21 AM
Hello,
I need 0.010 BTC within today.If someone can help please fund my loan request.
Address: address will be provided after the deal has confirmed.

I am wowok and today is 6/03/2018 i am asking for 0.010 BTC loan from bitcointalk
I have 2 successful repayment history of non collateral loan.

1. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1795927.msg17904846#msg17904846

2. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1862861.new#new

if anyone can fill my loan without collateral please let me know,or i am happy to give my account as collateral.

Loan length: maximum 7 to 10 days

Repayment: 0.013 BTC

If my account is not worth to you,please ignore.

No one is going to fill this loan without valid collateral, and your account is worthless. You should know that, especially with that negative feedback.

But with these red marks i have completed the two repayment of loans. And none of these red marks are the result of trade defaults. My trade historirs are fine. These red marks are for not completing the bounty job.
You can check my histoy. I have provided the links of my past payments.

Your negative trust is actually from an accusation that says your account may be hacked. It's got nothing to do with a bounty job.

With the identity of the account potentially being compromised, nobody will give you a loan and the previous reputation gained on the account due to you repaying previous loans is pretty much gone.

Wanna dispute it? Easy. Just sign a message from a previously staked address saying that you're the original owner of the account. Though I really doubt anyone would give you the loan anyways if you have no collateral.
2502  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to $15k in March, $8.5k by June, then $30+k by Q1/2019? on: March 05, 2018, 08:18:42 AM
Quote
crypto winter peak   peak price   new ATHs attained
Nov 2010                    $0.50   Q1/2011
Jun 2011                       $32   Q1/2013
Dec 2013                     $1250   Q1/2017
Feb 2019?                   $31,250?   Q1/2024?
Aug 2026?                    $500,000?        ?

$100,000 Probably Not Until 2024+

I cannot help but think of one thing. Someone will be on national television eating his own penis. It will surely be another historic day in Bitcoin land. Hahahaha!

Haha, yeah. But that specific individual was doomed as he made his prediction in the first place. Unfortunately, only a hyperinflationary scenario will save him now where the US dollar's value goes down through the floor  Cry Shouldn't have been that arrogant and made predictions without any backing, eh?

In the analysis, everything was based on the past.

It's unlikely that bitcoin is going to continue its exponential growth curve, at least for me. We'll still continue to go up but probably in a generally slower pace over a longer term. $15k in March is definitely possible, a crash by June again would be possible, but for it to 5x within less than 1 year and reach an ATH isn't believable at least from his evidence.
2503  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Scrypt Cloud Mining Contracts with HashFlare Now Available at Lower on: March 05, 2018, 07:55:46 AM
Passive income with crypto mining is now even more accessible with premier cloud mining hoster HashFlare announcing a special 5% discount on first-time purchases of cloud mining contracts. From now until March 6th, 2018, HashFlare customers need only apply the discount code HF18WQOD22J5 to their purchase order to enjoy cloud mining contracts for a low price of $4.20 per 1 MH/s.

Read the details in the article of Coinidol dot com, the world blockchain news outlet: https://coinidol.com/cloud-mining-contracts-with-hashflare-at-lower-prices/

The discount is 5%. That's not a lot.

The code has been advertised all over media outlets essentially, and I don't think that it's free publicity, probably paid. Not sure if this is an affiliate code or an official code, but I think it's the latter due to the paid advertisements on themerkle, coinidol, etc.

It's almost suspicious that they're running this promo. Seems like they're trying to get new investors with whatever way possible. This combined with the fact that previously, they have dealt shadily with customer contracts, all signal to one direction - it may be an insolvent company in the making.

This is not passive income. It's not guaranteed income. It's not income at all. I would NOT recommend hashflare to anyone, if you were investing in cloud mining which I would discourage you from investing in altogether, use Genesis. At least they are a lot more trusted.
2504  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: YOBIT scam!!! BTC wallet empty on: March 05, 2018, 06:22:28 AM
It has been over 30 days since I opened a ticket with Yobit's quasi suport. Since than there has been no attempt from their side to resolve the issue or even provide a sustainable explanation to what happened to my BTC wallet. I think that it is way pass the time where I could hope Yobit will do that, so it is pretty safe to claim that

Yobit is nothing but a bunch of THIEVES and SCAMMERS.

In the previous posts I presented what happened. I shared all the info I had and all the updates as they appeared. Do go trough each post and judge for yourself if my claim is too harsh.

I even tried to contact them over their Telegram group (https://t.me/yobitnet) but soon after I typed few messages (which were in no way offensive or insulting) the group got closed for me. Maybe I got banned or maybe the group just ended up closed ... I cannot claim either way. All I know is when I try to access it, I get an error code 400 and the error message: CHANNEL_PRIVATE. Again, you will be the judge of that.

It has only left for me to issue a fair warning to all the community:

PULL OUT OF YOBIT IF YOU STILL CAN AND AVOID IT IN WIDE CIRCLE

I hope this will help other memebers not to end up like me (and as far as I can see, at least a couple of other victims here).

A BIG tnx to all the members sharing their opinon here, giving me the directions and the objective insigts. I can only hope that this lesson I have paid for dearly will serve to prevent anyone else going the same path.

BTW, today I am removing a question mark in the title of this topic.

If it is channel_private then it's probably that they have removed you from the group. It does not say that it has been closed or anything like that, it's just private to you. And it seems like they are doing it to hide people's complaints just like they do on their own trollbox.

We've been warning people about yobit ever since it turned to crap, really. But nobody seems to be listening and every single day there seems to be more yobit accusations coming out, with people screaming for help. And we can only watch.

So no, your conclusion is completely valid and I stand by it 100%.

Your problem isn't even the worst. But it sufficiently demonstrates how little yobit support helps and even attempts to help.
2505  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinexchange.io - account locked, no response from the support on: March 05, 2018, 06:08:40 AM
My account was locked, without any notification or a reason.

I've tried to log in, but it says that "account is locked'

Anyone experienced this problem before?

https://coinexchangeio.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/73876
Ticket number #73876

This is third time I experienced problems with this exchange,
and third ticket i've opened;
previously couldn't withdraw funds due to TXID error, and had to wait
but this is getting too ridiculous now.

Anything that you might have done to trigger that lock?

Going on 46 days of account locked.  At this point, I am going to assume criminal activity / theft.  I have ticket opened with them (46 days ago), have tried every conceivable way to reach them.  And now I find their Twit account is suspended.

I don't normally keep coins on exchanges, I just went in to swap and traded out, as I was pulling coins back out, they slammed the door shut on me.

I am out 10,000's of dollars...  What really chaps my arse...  Crypto was about keeping out the government.  With crooks coming in and stealing from people, is only inviting laws and regulations into the very world that government is not supposed to be in.

How in the heck are we supposed to find freedom in crypto, with thieves in the mix.?

Twitter account is indeed suspended. Not a good sign at all, but it could just be because of violations of twitter's policy with cryptocurrency or something. Not sure, although I don't see any other exchange's twitter account go down.

Seems just like OP's problem. Accounts being locked for apparently no reason at all. Not sure what's going on with their customer service which they apparently "endevour to answer your queries as quickly as possible".

Dang... 10,000s dollars and you didn't even plan on storing it long term on the exchange. That must suck.

This just proves that coinexchange should not be trusted, at least for the moment until they get their crap together.
2506  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Two Indian Cryptocurrency Exchanges Announce They Are Closing on: March 05, 2018, 05:58:50 AM
https://news.bitcoin.com/two-indian-token-marketplaces-suspend-trading-regulatory-pressure/

Quote
Two Indian crypto token marketplaces, Btcxindia and Ethexindia, have announced that they will “halt cryptocurrency trading from March 5,” the Economic Times reported

Btcxindia, which began as one of India’s oldest bitcoin exchanges, has been operating for four years. Ethexindia is “India’s first ether exchange,” according to its website. Both marketplaces are managed by S Capital Solutions Pvt Ltd. Other than these two platforms, S Capital also has a 12% equity stake in Crypt E Tech Solution, the company behind bitcoin payment service provider Blockonomics.

They have announced that they will halt trading from March 5. The platforms state that this is due to regulatory pressure which put their businesses “under a lot of stress.”

I think it's got something to do with this news article a few weeks back: https://cointelegraph.com/news/india-bitcoin-prices-drop-as-media-misinterprets-govts-regulation-speech.

I could be wrong, since Unocoin clearly said that nothing has changed so far at that stage. But this is proving to be different. Unocoin is still active at the moment, though. And so is Zebpay with no intentions of shutting down yet.

Whether this turns into a much bigger regulatory concern is yet to be seen. But these two who shut down seems to be owned by the same company/entity. And the rest of the Indian exchanges still remain functional. Would be interesting to see what caused the "regulatory pressures" to begin with, though. They don't seem to offer any extra services.
2507  Economy / Exchanges / Re: user and password in bittrex on: March 05, 2018, 05:51:48 AM
Dears
some one hacked my user and password in bittrex but didn't hack my email yet....can he withdraw my account without access to my email ?  Huh Huh Huh my 2FA is off too.

So what are you waiting for? Your first instinct should be changing your passwords one by one and downloading google authenticator/enabling sms/email 2FA, since you already know that your bittrex account was compromised.

You can't withdraw from bittrex without having access to your email. This is a security measure that bittrex put in. What he can do though is execute trades without your email confirmation. And he may be wasting your money that way on fees and spreads.

Always, always turn on 2fa on all sites possible, unless you're not planning on storing more than $100 on it. Any ideas on how the hack may have occurred for your account?
2508  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [SERVICE] Stoplimit.org - service for placing stop orders [WEX, YOBIT] on: March 05, 2018, 03:18:36 AM
Don't most exchanges already have stop limit functions anyways?

Is it that yobit and wex doesn't have them yet?

Anyways, it's a good idea if they don't have this function yet since this is pretty much used by most traders. I think that the flexibility that you offer with the "stop orders at level breakthrough" is great as well since prices usually rise when a major resistance is hit, and traders can't do that on exchange. Also WEX and Yobit are pretty much used by nobody trading large volumes, try to add exchanges.

The only concern would be trusting you guys with the "trade" API keys, as you guys can potentially use funds to buy up coins and pump smaller markets for your personal gains. Not saying that you'll do it but just an issue.
2509  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: https://crypto-tradingmarket.com/ is a scam avoid at all costs! on: March 05, 2018, 01:02:41 AM
Well, all of this analysis and info is interesting. But you need to provide proof that you actually got scammed by them before these information actually provide anything of use to track future projects from the same scammer.

As I said, use the scam report format to edit your OP:
Code:
[b][color=black]What happened:: [/color][/b]

[b][color=black]Scammers Profile Link: [/color][/b]

[b][color=black]Reference Link: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Amount Scammed: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Payment Method: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Proof of Payment: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]PM/Chat Logs: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Additional Notes: [/color][/b]

Include proof of the scam please. No point posting any further whois data without proving that you did get scammed. It's nice that you're trying to stop others from getting ripped off, though.
2510  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: HashFlare worth to reinvest ??!! on: March 05, 2018, 12:51:14 AM
This is the hard thing among with these kind of cloud mining investments even how reputable and how long they are operational and i agree on the things you do have said.They do have the full control or manipulation as they like and as an investor you wont really have any choice but to follow on whats being said if you dont like to experience such problems with them.For those early investor back in the past with HF i do believe they are already on profits and since difficulty rise up they make such changes and for those who came in too late will really feel the difference when it comes to profit talks.

I think the methods of HashFlare is simply because they are a ponzi. While I do believe that they have miners available and are actually mining, I believe they were operating at a loss due to the "lifetime" contracts they offered upon launching their services. With the given changes, I'm fairly certain that they are now profitable. With all of the dead accounts with balances, to the raising of fees, they seemed to have found a model that works. They blame difficulty rising and the inflated prices of Bitcoin, but I believe that it's no longer worth any time to buy any hashrates with HF anymore. Like I stated before, as soon as my contract ends, I will be withdrawing all of my crypto from this site and won't be looking back!

Yes, indeed. if they were not operating at a loss then they would not so blatantly rip their customers off. Clearly, they are probably overpromising or overdelivering on their promises. Even though users can set the mining pool configuration and coin configuration i don't think that they're actually actively switching pools as a result of the individual changes their customers made.

They could have been using some of the investments to fund actual miners, to make themselves look legit. But then I think that they probably made some sort of high risk investment in which they lost a large sum of money. For instance, speculating on certain altcoins which made them lose money.

While we can't confirm these suspicions, the smart move here is to move your money out. They may be insolvent, which is why they're trying to up the minimums and reduce contracts to 1 year. And you never want to risk your funds at a potentially insolvent company.
2511  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitcoin scam site on: March 04, 2018, 08:10:08 PM
I was charged $525.00 by coinmama for bitcoin which was never transferred to my bitcoin wallet.  I messaged coinmama but they do not reply. SCAM SCAM SCAM.. Beware of coinmama!!!

Coinmama has been around for a long time, ever since I first started using bitcoin. The reviews are generally positive and I haven't seen any signs of them being an exit scam or anything like that after years of operation.

You should first contact their support. Posting here only warns others about scams and doesn't get your case resolved. Ask the support staff what is going on and why your transaction has not gone through yet. If they don't reply then all you can do is wait. I'm assuming that you were buying BTC with credit card, right? Wait around 1 month for their reply, afterwards, try to contact your credit card company and charge back your funds since CCs are able to be charged back.

Also, could you provide some proof for the purchase(screenshots of payment, etc.) and follow this format:

Code:
[b][color=black]What happened:: [/color][/b]

[b][color=black]Scammers Profile Link: [/color][/b]

2512  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you guys agree that $12,500 remains the most resistance for now? on: March 04, 2018, 07:31:03 PM
As price remains oscillating, we don’t have much to say about the price action. But apparently, the uptrend today remains weak since we haven’t seen a continuous expansion in volumes, meaning that price will keep oscillating within a narrow range in the next few sessions with resistance between $11,500 and $11,800. But the target at $12,500 is clear and price will keep moving towards the major resistance until major bearish news emerges.

Original by Kuang Ren, translated and posted by AICoin Jami.

Feel free to leave your comments below

So far the strongest/most resistance is actually $11500-11800 which we have failed to breach on two attempts now. And that is obviously clearly mentioned in the article as well. We've been hanging around this $11k level for a few days, now.

While it could be possible that $12500 is going to be a strong resistance once we go over $12k, I think that we need to get to the top half of the $11000 region first before speculating on any further resistances. That, in essence is the first hurdle.

I personally expect though that the $12.5k resistance be lower than what the $11500 resistance is presenting us right now, as well as $12k. The momentum when BTC gets over $12k which has been resistance last month will mean that it'll get pushed over $12.5k quite easily.
2513  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Genesis Mining on: March 04, 2018, 07:26:25 PM
Is genesis mining is good to min bitcoin

you have to look at the profits, how much profit someone who invests in genesis mining does in a year vs how much profit you can make if only you buy and hold bitcoin.

for example:

you invested $1000 in bitcoin in the genesis mining and in a year you get $2000.

But another person takes $1000 and buys bitcoin and the price of bitcoin in a year increases 500%. What is more advantageous? buy and hold.

This is spot on and it's what I've been trying to preach for ages.

If you're investing into Genesis Mining/Hashflare/etc. you sure are looking at the prices of these coins going up. However, historically these cloud mining businesses have not been generating good returns for investors and there are only cases of ROI when the prices of cryptos rise.

So even if you make a profit(unlikely in the first place due to various changes that could occur to your contract or difficulty/price of crypto you're mining), it's not going to be more profit than buying and holding a certain coin you're mining with your contract.

Genesis is probably mining, but it's just not profitable unless you can bring in referrals.
2514  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: https://crypto-tradingmarket.com/ is a scam avoid at all costs! on: March 04, 2018, 07:10:03 AM
If that site wasn't a scam then I'd actually be extremely surprised.

The only other search entry on google about that site is literally another scam accusation. Also, don't you think that if they are indeed operating a p2p trading site they would have at least some sort of marketing and legitimate backing from investors?

Also you can't just say that x is a scammer without proof. Djeezer as far as I can tell has tons of scam accusations and untrusted negative trust ratings, but no DT members have negged him probably because nobody has provided proof so far.

Did you get scammed by crypto-tradingmarket? If yes, can you provide some screenshots for proof?

Please, follow the scam report format which stickied here.
2515  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitconnect lawsuits: Craig Grant the mastermind? on: March 04, 2018, 06:57:01 AM
He's definitely not the mastermind behind the scam. I think that I watched a pretty good youtube video before on the research of the structure of Bitconnect, with Trevon/Craig/Cryptonick being regional promoters. They are basically the ones actually luring people in.

These scumbags deserve to have these lawsuits filed against them, they knew what they were doing, they were getting rich and making bank off their subscribers and viewers believing in them and signing up under them, and now showing 0 remorse and making up excuses as they go.

I don't know what the result is but one of the reddit comments I agree with. They should get jailed for doing this, since they're pitching the idea to actual investors. But the actual mastermind may never get caught at the end.

but for now how can i regain my btc me has hacker ip address which is from UK ...

5 days back someone scammed me for 0.20 btc here on forum which scam accused thread m already opened and now this Sad

plz help

Localbitcoins has proven to be one of the most trustworthy exchanges so it's definitely an external entity that hacked your account. Probably it's due to insufficient security on your account since you haven't enabled 2FA.

Doubt the LBC staff can help you even if they wanted to. Nothing they can do to recover the funds. The txid https://blockchain.info/tx/7766884682769f41065086246abd4fa6e441c08a782d60418e0feb888b686e87 is confirmed and hacker has already spent everything. Also, there is no way to prove to LBC that it is legitimately a hacker.

Getting the IP could be helpful but I'm guessing that the hacker probably was smarter than just using his home internet connection with no VPN/Tor. Next time always enable 2fa with a strong password, and also make sure your computer is clean before using any financial related service.
2517  Economy / Exchanges / Re: coinbene exchange? on: March 04, 2018, 06:20:56 AM
Dont use coinbene! They charging crazy withdraw fees!
For example 0.001 BTC or 100 HeroCoin(PLAY)
I think its just a money grab

Most exchanges charge the same level of money for withdrawals due to the fact that transaction fees were pretty much at that level before due to the mempool being filled up with unconfirmed transactions, and now they aren't making an adjustment.

That's the reason to stop using it, but there are others.

It's incorporated in Singapore which means that the laws there can change and effect you directly, so you're dependent on the Singaporean gov. Also if anything goes wrong, you're dealing with an international case. Their primary language is Chinese, so if you're Chinese then there is really no point in using it since their target market is obviously Chinese based users.

Most of their coins apart from some newer ones are going to be listed on more trusted exchanges anyways, like Binance. Just use them instead.
2518  Economy / Exchanges / Re: -50℅ from withdrawal fees on binance on: March 04, 2018, 06:11:32 AM
The decrease in fees are definitely more than 50%. You can send an average bitcoin transaction right now for less than 0.0001 BTC and get a confirmation on it on the first block that gets mined. So their reduction is definitely not in line with the magnitude of the fee decrease.

As Potato Chips mentioned, I think that it won't be permanent.

It'll probably be until the next spike in fees come, and in which case they will increase their fees for withdrawals once again. It's much better to have a dynamic fee structure in my opinion like Bitmex is operating on, where you can choose your own transaction fees with a minimum value.
2519  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Financing Using Miners as Collateral? on: March 04, 2018, 05:47:46 AM
Thank you everyone for the replies. Besides using miners for collateral, in general, are there any financial institution that minimally would provide loans knowing your business is in the mining of cryptocurrency? Some of the more well known traditional institutions have been unresponsive or not interested in providing our organization with a loan. Just wondering if there are more progressive or open minded lenders out there.

Probably not gonna happen.

Mining equipment isn't very liquid and is very specifically used. You'll only be able to sell it to someone that understands how to set them up, and use them to turn a profit. For a financial institution this is probably not feasible.

I think you may be able to chat to a few of the people on the mining subforum to get a financing deal on your equipment, as well as posting a loan request on the lending forum for interested lenders to finance your loan with the miners as collateral. No guarantees though.
