This is completely insane and it was THE VERY LAST TIME that i dumped a new coin immediately after release.
I will keep every shitcoin at least 1 week before dumping.
I lost over 1000$ again because I sold for 20 LTC / 1000 CNC, DAMN ME!!
Yeah I remember you saying FTC was done after you sold them all off (45k or something...) These coins are a gamble when they are new... At least you made money and paid off your mining rig or whatever

Remove mine also, please.

Not bad, I hadn't seen actual innovation in an AltCoin in a long while.
I would call this a tweaked NVC and a far cry from innovation. Honestly the low reward coupled with the apparently epic premine sets the initial miners to reap one hell of a reward should any trading on this coin commence. There is a valuable lesson here for the next altcoin of the hour, set your difficulty high from the start. If the coin is truly innovative people will happily mine despite initial high difficulty to get a stake in it. It was no different to Feathercoin. See my above post. What was Chinacoin like for difficulty on it's launch day? I missed that one.

This was the first official "Junk Coin", followed by the second official aptly named "Junk Coin".
Created by two abandoned projects, abandon this one now.
I think it has a lot more to offer, from a technical, and possibly marketing direction over a coin like ChinaCoin and FeatherCoin (I own both and I'm saying that). I do like the bar concept, and it takes a different approach over just taking something like litecoin and pumping up the block reward by 4x. Plus it has PoS, dynamically adjusting difficulty and wasn't premined like NovaCoin was supposedly. Definitely a novel 'coin' in my book. Right, it has nothing to do with you mining 93 BTB in like 30 minutes due to extreme low starting difficulty. Feathercoin started with extremely low difficulty too. Did you know that? 3 million were produced in the first day alone.

Guys. Why so expensive this alt.coin?
Only 100 of these Bitbars get produced a day across the entire network. They were designed to be very rare. Hence the 'bars' rather than 'coins' (think gold coins compared to gold bars... a bitbar is really a set of bitcoins melted together into a bar)

BitBar block explorer is coming soon. I have spoken with Dreamwatcher privately and he has confirmed

It has the 'bar' idea behind it, meaning they are super rare. That alone is a new twist. Then you have the fact it is based on Novacoin but doesn't have the premine. People can't complain about millions of coins being created either, there's only 2500 bars or soo and only 100 bars being made a day. At the very least it's going to be an interesting economics experiment.

is this Crazy Rabbit's new coin?

Added mill0601. It's a sell order at 2.143 BTC per BTB (7 bitbars up for grabs)

I think Bitbar is a stayer.
It's showing promise. This 'bar' concept where a bar is worth a lot more than a coin is a nice twist on things. If nothing else, the economics of this situation with bitbars being super scarce is intriguing... Network difficulty doesn't lie - now up to 9.03 already and still rising nicely: http://www.bitbar.info/stats/index.phpYet no one knows who's mining it. Whoever it is has quite the hashrate, considering the only pool we know of has 70 Mhash/s and is finding blocks every ~12 min, while blocks are being found every minute or so Saw similar with Feathercoin when it came out. The world is a big place and only a fraction of the people who read this forum bother to actually create an account and post on here. That said, less than 100 BitBars have been created since yesterday. The built in scarcity means people can't really complain 3 million have been created in a day...

Nice. Now I can get a wallet on my work machine as well as my home one.
It's also encouraging to see others volunteering to help the PPCoin project... another sign of growth.

Difficulty at 8.8 right now. Getting a lot of network support.
Yeah for about 11 hours I only have 2074 shares (unpaid). Not sure how much BTB I will get lol difficulty is up again to 9.27605978 People like this new crypto twist with ultra rare 'bars' 9.45 difficulty now

This should really be the exchange standard for all future coins (worked great with BTC/CNC) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=194748.0Please support the designers and those that host these exchanges. After 2 weeks, Boelens gets .5 BTC from me.. hopefully others decide to give back a bit of coin! I say keep things simple like they are for now. It worked very well with Feathercoins and it's working well with Chinacoins, which both started off with simple order books...
