Nice find Mushoz. Updating the OP.
2382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [BitBar] Calling out first uncovered SHILL mr_random on: May 11, 2013, 02:16:27 PM
TLDR: I paid for the 40 BitBars for about 0.56 bitcoin per bar from BlastBob!!!

Update! Moderator refused to step in. Gave weak reasons imo, would only have taken that person 5 minutes to log into my account and check my private messages.

I hate to post a private trade publicly but since the moderator won't step in I have no choice.

I bought the BitBars from BlastBob. I saw him post in a topic saying he had 50 to sell and offered to take 40 of them. I said I would pay 0.6 btc per bar in 4 transactions (ended up being 0.56 each or something). I had no idea if he is connected to BitBars. I noticed in the YAC launch thread he very quickly accumulated a ton of YACs and has sold at least 30k - I doubt he is behind YAC too, I think he just has one of the best mining mega rigs around. I noticed the next day after I bought my BitBars from him that he was selling a lot of them.

I sent the money to him directly from my btc-e wallet. Am I allowed to post his bitcoin address? It should show the money going in there

I bought my BitBars in good faith and have learnt a good lesson! Innocently buying coins from the wrong person leads to stupid people calling you a scammer.

I am deleting all messages in ALL CAPS bright red font. Nothing personal. Looking at you hdclover.
2384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PLEASE stop making threads with " ▀▄▀▄▀ ▀▄▀▄▀ " in them. on: May 11, 2013, 01:48:24 PM
The topic I set up here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=202089.0

Is fact based only. I ask for no fud and only reports of stolen bitcoins. I have updated the original post saying one of the people claiming to have lost coins has now come forward saying his account was hacked. Sorry for trying to help people idiot.
2385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] YaCoin FUD Thread [Stop posting them and come here] on: May 11, 2013, 01:44:15 PM
Warning possible keylogger or sensitive data extraction please reinstall your OS if you have already lost some bitcoins

Already added to the original post.
2387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ▀▄▀▄▀ ▀▄▀▄▀ YACoin - Bitcoin Stealing Claim List ▀▄▀▄▀ ▀▄▀▄▀ on: May 11, 2013, 01:39:53 PM
Post a stupid claim about me and get deleted. This is for reports of people who are claiming lost Bitcoins.
2388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ▀▄▀▄▀ ▀▄▀▄▀ YACoin - Bitcoin Stealing Claim List ▀▄▀▄▀ ▀▄▀▄▀ on: May 11, 2013, 01:25:52 PM
So far the reports are contained to 4 people creating all these topics (some of them making multiple topics): bennybong, Aahzman, Brewins and hdclover. Now poly has stepped forward.

It is looking increasingly likely something bad is happening here.
2389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / YACoin - Bitcoin Stealing Claim List (Facts only) on: May 11, 2013, 01:18:07 PM
Important update: user who claimed to have lost bitcoins is now saying his account was hacked and someone else made those remarks:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=202068.msg2110230#msg2110230

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Reports are spreading that the YACoin windows binary may be stealing Bitcoins. I am setting this topic up as a non-FUD only discussion. Post facts that you have.

Reports that have come in so far:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=202087.0 -bennybong has lost his bitcoins
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=202070.0 - Aahzman seeing unusual activity in this Wireshack logs (network monitoring program)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=202062.0- Brewins has lost his bitcoins
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=202089.msg2110113#msg2110113 - User poly posted in this topic to say he had lost bitcoins
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=196196.msg2110188#msg2110188 - user Destroyer has had 256 bitcoins stolen
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=202122.msg2110421#msg2110421 - Skytape has lost bitcoins

How you can help:

1. Please add reports. It seems this is occuring to individuals who ran the windows binary downloaded from mega.
2. If affected, PLEASE state what programs you downloaded. if you downloaded the windows binary, was it definitely from the first page of the Launch topic or was it a repost to Mega you downloaded? Important!

Everyone:

1. If your Bitcoin wallet isn't encrypted, encrypt it immediately.

Possible source of Trojan is NOT in the client:

The possible cause of these claims maybe this miner which has suspicious activity in it: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=202089.msg2110724#msg2110724 This is NOT the client and is NOT officially connected to YAC.
2390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where are the moderators? on: May 11, 2013, 01:10:59 PM
You have many reports all made by you and that other user hdclover or something.

Stop making 1000 topics, and post some god damn proof.

Yes looking at this more closely so far I am only seeing two users making the same topics about this

Everybody who has missing Bitcoins post where you got the Yacoin.exe file from, was it from the original launch post? This is important information
MEGA (original post)

Not missing bitcoins, but through Process Monitor I've observed it access my wallet.dat (encrypted)

Have you downloaded any other yacoin related programs or mining software?

If not, oh shit.

2393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feathercoin transaction stuck at 0 confirmations for the last 35 minutes? on: May 11, 2013, 09:27:03 AM
I woke up this morning and this transaction had gone through for me overnight.
2394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Mystery of the Missing BitBar on: May 10, 2013, 10:20:39 PM
Can you see it on the bitbar block chain explorer over at cryptochain explorer?

Also, try running the rescan command to synch up your bitbar client.
2395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feathercoin transaction stuck at 0 confirmations for the last 35 minutes? on: May 10, 2013, 09:21:31 PM
Yeah, confirmations are a bit slow, but some people are still mining.  They're attempting to rally.

http://benhohner.com/feathercoin/statistics.php

I've been able to push transactions, slow, but still possible.

Been stuck at 0 confirms for almost 2 hours.

Any tips on how to speed this mutha up?
2396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A new coin? on: May 10, 2013, 09:20:17 PM
Lol it's called Net Coin.

I wouldn't touch it unless you run it in a virtual machine.

Even VM is not safe, as there could be a Redpill payload.

Morpheus is that you?

BushStar thinks it's the low hashrate.

Come on guys, rally that hashrate back up for papa.
2399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A request to BTB (Bitbar) holders on: May 10, 2013, 08:53:48 PM
BTB future: The coin will die. People will stop mining as it is not profitable anymore, so the blockchain will not propagate transactions which will cause more people to stop mining until it is dead. The end.

The same way BTC will end. So why its price is $112. You just helped me dude. thanks

But, still...

Why should people buy BTB?

Is it actually solving any actual problems?

What is it's role in crypto?

If nothing else it's an interesting economics experiment - make a coin super scarce to mine, if people decide it has value what happens to the price. It is kind of cool seeing an alt crypto selling for $50... will be interesting to see where it ends up a week from now, price seems quite volatile.
2400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vircurex hacked! on: May 10, 2013, 08:47:53 PM
Damn, I just hope this doesn't hit them too hard. I like Vircurex's wide support for altcoins.

I'm safe since I don't store anything on exchanges.

Likewise, Hope the issue gets resolved for all those folks that have funds there

+2. I thought I was in this position once and the feeling was sickening (turned out btc-e.com was just down for 12 hours). Ever since then, I instantly take coins off an exchange after a transaction.
