Huh FAuCet - share the love:  Cheesy

http://coin.ww9.me/?faucet ;
* captcha difficulty: nightmare for foreigners
* don't refresh the page more than 10 times in a row or else...
* if you got from the distributed coins: don't (can't) use this faucet
* if it doesn't work at all: tell me your FAC address

I don't ask you to send money right away. I received one small donation and I will share that with newcomers.
Test phase (the first hours): 0.5 FAC per person OR a few hundred wallet per hour.
( Maybe someone will not get any coin, because it is not manual distributing. :#  )

nightmare for english speakers too, did many couldn't get one  Sad

It pisses me off. The dev ignores my PMs. lmao. what a cunt

Whats with people around here and their 2 seconds patience, different timezones, probably 1001 pm's asking "where are my coins" etc etc.

I've not recieved mine, free so no complaints  Grin
2585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's time to stop offering MAC Wallets for Alt Coins on: March 09, 2014, 11:30:06 AM
Given Apple's rabid and oppressive stance towards Bitcoin - why do Alt developers persist in offering Mac wallet clients?

hmmm probably because they don't like 'oppressive stances' towards software  Wink
2586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Faircoin - The First Fairly Distributed COIN -Vote for us on exchanges! on: March 09, 2014, 08:59:59 AM

Thanks,
Faircoin Team

Even paid for voting on cryptsy  Shocked by accident lol took me awhile to notice after the first (free) vote I was paying with cryptsy points  Huh
2587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Faircoin - The First Fairly Distributed COIN -Get your fair share - NOW on: March 09, 2014, 08:37:02 AM
the only coin that can show both transparentcy and fair distribution is Coin2/C2..C2 distribution actually has it flawed that i beleive few ppl thats greed gainning with multiple accts, but since its take 7-10days to distribute to just 1000..it's actually  indicated that the distribution was not heavily abused by cheaters..thats make it accidently to be "the most fair and most tranparent distribution so far"
the way that C2 distribution via FB will be never duplicate and success for the next copycat again bc if it happen again..even 10000 address have to distribute..it will likely just deplete in an hour.

lol Coin2 was gamed like the rest of them some people have 100s of fb accounts (ya can even purchase a 1000s). Also not really fair as some countries don't use FB, even banned (filtered) in China (one of, if not the largest crypto market), FB is mostly a US thing.

2588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Faircoin - The First Fairly Distributed COIN -Get your fair share - NOW on: March 09, 2014, 05:08:28 AM
At least premine (PMC) gave 1 stake per account on bitcointalk, making it the most fair coin yet.

No PMC was given out rather adhoc, and much of it via a faucet which was easily gamed. Faircoin's distribution was way harder to game, and most likely way better distributed.

there is nothing that will stop even a small cartel from wrecking the coin.

By cartel, I assume you mean an organization of people subject to the RICO criminal statute (18 U.S.C.A. § 1963) ?

so basically the US gov and its bankers  Wink

Addresses: 49438 / 49750

Addresses: 49550 / 49750

I forgot to enter my address tonight, only have about 30 shares all in all

or full of it  Roll Eyes

I hope the dev understand here that since he has most of the adresses.

zero proof of that.
dev's going to all the trouble to try and make a fair coin, doubt he'd blow it by rigging it.

not perfect but as good as it gets and even people intending to game the system can only do it relatively slowly, so gives everyone a chance of who wants atleast getting a share (and a decent amount of coin).

You believe what you want, but a coin which is rising at around 2.5k an hour is definitly due to the dev taking a lot of adresses. Im not even complaining about that, i just hope he will invest into making this worth it.

right now around 40-45 new adress each minute. Which mean 2000-2500 each hour. In 2 hour no more adresses we will see how this distribution works! Exited seeing it.

maybe you should check out the chinese section of this forum for your answer to the rate  Wink
2592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best long shot for the lottery win? on: March 09, 2014, 01:27:02 AM
Well there are heaps of older coins falling to lows, because of all the latest and greatest quick pump and dumps that everyone flocks too. Perhaps a few of these could bounce back nicely.

my pick of the older;

Netcoin, the admin of this coin has put in serious effort since taking it on in building infrastructure around this coin, including a nice casino. coins well looked after (just no shoved in everyones face), and if cryptos ever get great support in the general public well Netcoin is a very handy name. At a low now and undervalued when compared to similar cryptos.

my pick of the newer coins;

Battlecoin, at a low because been a gap between coin developed and arena being finished, but when (or maybe if) the arena gets developed and if it is a hit, well it could be a nice surprise.

Its all a gamble though, risk vs reward but you did say lottery  Wink

Also you could take a look at Faircoin, atm (looks only a few hours left) its free (so nothing to lose) and an interesting experiment.

2595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: cryptsy and market saturation on: March 08, 2014, 05:03:22 AM
Nakamoto still is not known for who he exactly is until just yesterday. Even then, nobody can know for sure.

Off topic for the thread but the Nakamoto you are suggesting here I can say with 100% certainty is not the creator of BTC.
2596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: cryptsy and market saturation on: March 08, 2014, 04:55:13 AM
At the moment, exchanges are centralized single points of failure and subject to easy regulatory control. What a p2p currency needs is a p2p exchange protocol, ie: exchange functionality should be built into each wallet.

~~XCB~~

Well there's something I agree with you on. I do believe p2p exchanges are the best way forward for cryptos.
2597  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: March 08, 2014, 04:31:52 AM
I'm done with you buddy until you show some signs of independent thought and stop being a ~BCT~ sockpuppet
+ignore

Lol I'm hardly BCX sockpuppet, his testing/mining in the past has cost me, we've also had a few big clashes in the past (many regulars from the old cryptsy chat could confirm that).

However despite several difference of opinion, we are both intelligent enough not you just blanket disagree with each others every comment out of spite etc.

BCX could just as easily experimentally mine a coin I've invested in, just be happy you've had the headsup.
2598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: cryptsy and market saturation on: March 08, 2014, 02:17:20 AM

Whats needed? A decent exchange, that limits the coins it adds, does research on said coins and only adds coins that meet a certain standard.

How about an exchange that only traded the coins that kelsey has ?

~~XCB~~

Well that would make sense, atleast it would rule out obvious scamcoins  Wink
2599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Saturation point? Which ones will survive? on: March 08, 2014, 12:59:51 AM
With NXT's early distribution method (or lack there of), I see very little chance for its longterm survival, in any meaningful way. Darkcoin offers nothin over an above what already exists, and is done better elsewhere.

Market saturations means most people will eventually default back to BTC and LTC. (maybe a couple of other alt communities will survive and grow overtime if the holders/devs can stick by their coins long enough).

Please speak for yourself. I'm not a beta tester.

Whether or not you perceive you are doesn't change the fact that you are, everyone in cryptos is a beta tester.
