I checked your idea. GoFundMe does not work in my country. Same issue with Kickstarter and Indiegogo. I can create a company, but I cannot withdraw money to my account. Why not tell us more about yourself here? Create a thread about yourself, your educational background and post it in the Project Development board. Your idea is a noble one. But I do see some problems with this concept. What if tomorrow AMD and Intel decided to hike up their CPU prices? The mining again will get out from the reach of the "poor". Basically you can't control the top 1% they will always end up in the power as they have the means to do so... Just look at the GPU shortages as an example. During the peak, the GPUs were going for almost double the standard price and it can happen with CPUs as well, that's what essentially happens in "Free-Markets". Supply and demand dictate the price. Even if you made your algorithms only to work on P4 (Pentium 4), The rich will get their hands on more P4s and we will end up in a similar situation. Some of my suggestions will be to create a milestone list, get an escrow a trusted one from the forum and let them handle your donations. So that they will release the donations once you reach your listed milestones. Again Good luck!

Why not use something like Storj? Your purpose is to store a "datatype". They are basically decentralized cloud storage. So what's stopping you to use them? Are there any specific requirements on your end?

Logically speaking yes. The only reason you would want to gamble would be to win something, that's common sense. I don't know how else you could justify gambling logically. Gambling only makes sense when the reward is greater than the risk involved. Yes, the purpose is to lose money and have fun doing it I don't know which alternate universe you come from but here in our universe losing money is no fun... Unless you come from the top 1% then I can see how it can be considered "fun" as a pastime... But to an average joe losing money is no fun. BTW Gambling always turns into addiction, just ask all those people on the streets who went homeless due to gambling.

Why not launch a gofundme campaign? Tell us more about your educational background etc. Also, Publish your code on github just like @DooMad said it will allow people to review your code and even improve it, Just like you want. Remember if your algorithm is really that good then expect donations and support from the community. Right now you sound disparate, you may have something which could change the mining scene but you need to be open about your work. You can't claim things without letting others review it. I wish you the best of luck, its a tough world out there.

I'm wondering what kind of "work" you did for these exchanges... Since you will be needing the developers, UI designers and so on. What was your role in the development of these "more than 10 exchanges". BTW why didn't you name these? Are you under an NDA of some sorts? Would you consider escrowing the crowd-funded "Donations" till you deliver this so-called "improved-exchange"?

@kingcolex I doubt that. It's just that I don't trust these banks. I feel like there is still a catch. E.g they might try to set out a narrative of a new currency that it's "backed" by "math" i.e Blockchain. It won't be bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency for that reason. They still will like to govern it. I doubt it will be limited in supply but this time they will at least have "Math" on their side.

How does the game actually look like? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4139653.0The thread has a few screenshots from the game. It literally had 1 UI page. Where I asked for the BTC address from the user to where the payment should be sent to. There was nothing of Gamblish nature in the game. It was a faucet but in the form of a game. The reason specified in the email was of the payment method in my app. Unfortunately, I no longer have the email I received. I don't have the source code either. I am working on a similar project tho. I will give it a go again but I doubt anything has changed. Anyway what you are thinking with a separate app store might be a good idea but the the thing is this will require a lot of resources just to develop a system where your app store eliminates "malicious" softwares True, but I feel like there are solutions to this. One of them is listing what sorts of permission this app requires before installing, just like Google does it. Another could be submitting your code which will then be compiled into an APK on the blockchain, so it will eliminate many of the malicious apps off from the store.

They aren't using BTC addresses, they are handling the payments via an email address via Coinbase. Most of these apps do this to get away from Google's policy. Some other ways are to introduce a point system and then convert those points to gift cards etc...

Just want to add in a similar request. Newbies often tend to create multiple topics since their original thread quickly gets buried. Why not have a filter of sorts? If the new thread title is similar to the previous thread started, it should display a warning that a thread with the similar title already exists on your account. It can also link them to that previous thread.

This statement is not correct because we have so many apps on playstores that offer cryptocoins payment, you should check your app codes for malware, virus and other malicious Trojans. I don't know what's their current policy but it specifically got rejected because it had a faucet system in it. It was made on unity, it didn't require any sorts of permissions etc. I don't have the emails anymore else I would have posted. The game was Dunk4bits. Some users might remember it. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4139653.0 It got rejected on the play store that's why I went for a browser version that was my next bet.

Rant: Long story short, I developed a game for android and it had BTC payments in it. It got rejected on the play store because it gave out "crypto" payments which google don't seem to like for some reason. This made me think we don't have a blockchain-based AppStore and Giants like Google can screw over indie developers like me. People don't like to download APKs from a Random URL generally and there is basically no way of verifying the APKs. What I am proposing is an AppStore, based on blockchain, Basically, it will act as Storj but at the same time it will verify app code for malicious "code". I can't develop something like this on my own cuz I am terrible with c++ nor do I have sufficient knowledge of blockchain to pull off something like this. I am just throwing an idea out into the world.

"Greed" is the terminology used to define someone else's "strive for the better", by people who suffer from jealousy towards this other person.
So most of the time, it's actually those who call someone else greedy, who are the greedy ones themselves.
Which White man's dictionary did you get that from?

Just wondering if that Design man is me?

Dude, you need serious help! Get Help! Before its too late...Also, stop taking whatever you are on currently. It ain't helping your situation. P.S Ranting on this board won't get you anywhere, accepting your losses and learning from your mistakes will.

Looks great! Which engine are you using to develop this? If you are using unity then multiplatform shouldn't be an issue. A browser version will get a lot more traction than an android one tbh.

Just want to add on to @AdolfinWolf point, you can use the same server to host your store as well, so it will save up your monthly costs... As a customer, My personal experience with bitpay has been a pain in the ass and as @ETFBitcoin mentioned they enforce your customers to pay high fees when a lower fee would do just fine... On Some occasions I gave up the purchase on others when I really needed something, I went through the trouble. If you feel like it is a bit too techy then don't worry, If the person really wants to buy your design then they will go through the trouble.

Lemme help you with rephrasing your title... "My Story: Why I failed with Bitcoin (and keep failing to this day)" The fact that you can't even rant properly just shows how bad you are with things in life... Get help before its too late...

All this conversation begs the question why was the "2 new balls" rule introduced? Cricket has become a game for batsmen only, Talk about Pitches to Bats, All have been tailored to suit them. For the bowlers nothing much has changed, in fact, it has got worse for them. Things like Powerplays and "2 New balls" are not helping them in any case. The art of reverse swing is close to dead even in test matches. It's a game of nightmare for bowlers these days unless you are an orthodox bowler then you may survive for a bit but your uniqueness will fade away too, Rashid Khan comes to mind as an example. It's just frustrating for fans like me to see the game develop only in a certain way. Anyway, I will end my rant... the legendary Pakistani bowlers have themselves admitted changing the condition of the ball, in order to get reverse swing. You are confusing illegal manipulation with the natural one. Making one side rough by pitching it on the same side isn't illegal. But if you will use sandpapers to rough it that's another story.

Your irony is not at all appropriate, the project is not scam. Then how the hell do you then explain that 8% guaranteed "cashback" every week?
|
|
|
They don't know that. The percent doesn't matter, the concept of greed has to do with the desire for excess. Last time I checked we classified animals as creatures acting upon their instincts not making conscious decisions. Desire is a "Conscious" thing iyam. Doesn't really fit in with the animals, Either it's instinct or they are making "Conscious" decisions. However, when deceiving and cheating people becomes a dominant behavior, that elicits a negative feedback loop, then it truly does become more destructive than instructive. I think we are currently living in this "deceiving and cheating" world.
