Bitcoin is far away from being a p2p cash system and until then, cash is still king.

Agreed.

I have been stacking up BTC and Cash for the past year or so. A financial crisis is imminent there is no doubt about that, I am anxiously waiting for one tho. I have eyes on a few properties which I would love to get my hands on. For all BTC has taught me in the past 5 years is that Patience is rewarded so I am not making any bold moves just yet... :d

i dont get the fundamentals of why the drop is so big

Well, it's quite simple. Bitcoin was in its bubble phase after it went from $3000 to $20000. People oversold the Japan and South Korea adoption. Whales were already in well before bitcoin hit $4000 mark. Then the market did its trick. Dummies kept pushing the price up while whales were hodling. Whales are still making a profit iyam. No whale in his right mind would have jumped in at $4500 or $5000. This correction is a mere result of whales manipulating the dummies. Also, This is nowhere near the true bottom. We will see $2000s again so keep your wallets prepared as this will be the last opportunity to get in at 2000s the next stop will be at $110,000 Wink

Quite a good finish of the day by the Pakistani openers; I didn't expect Imam-ul-Haq to remain this offensive in the start of the inning. It seems like Pakistan is once again in the control of the match; New Zealand bowlers should try to get wickets in the first few hours of the 4th day, else they'll lose the match.

To be fair, Those were some bad deliveries which he put away. We will see how things turn out tomorrow. We won't see the day 5 of this match. Either Pakistan's Batting lineup will collapse or They will chase it down in the first two sessions. Apart from that Yasir sprung some magic for em which was nice to see. He wasn't performing for Pakistan except for filling in those overs, I am happy for the fella that he got a fiver. Pakistan looking the favorites here but i won't rule New Zealand out just yet..

If those that participate are happy with the results Made with the software they can purchase iT themselves. Otherwise they would have to pay 49€ each themselves. Now they have the opportunity to be part and try iT out for only 5€ fee

Wait I don't get it. Will you give your participants the software to try it out for themselves Or will you test it out yourself and just showcase the results of your activity?
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: vpn software for mining? on: November 18, 2018, 05:54:42 PM
I mean if you are looking for something free. You can get the cracked version of Hotspot shield from the web. But if you have the budget to afford a better VPN then just like Ljunior mentioned. Get PrivateInternetAccess. You won't be disappointed. They also host bitcointalk. So you can't go wrong with them.

How much will you charge for the management and traffic? I may refer a friend to try it out. I suppose you are having an issue with buying large amounts of traffic for yourself so that's why you are offering others the method? PM me the website link on which you tried this method.
390  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Minning App on: November 18, 2018, 03:53:54 PM
Do we have any minning app, that we just install and it gives us bitcoins ?

In the backend it uses oue phone's resources and in return gives us bitcoins ?

I believe you are like 7 years late to the party. Those days have been long gone where you could have got 1-2 BTC for just filling out a captcha or using your CPU to mine "Bitcoins" But just like others mentioned there are ways to generate minuscule amount bitcoins through different apps. If you want to make "Bitcoins" Start providing different services. Use your skills and you will be making a decent amount of bitcoins in no-time. Good Luck!

I'm surprised there hasn't been more of this really.

TBH we won't see it much, mining rigs aren't that "mobile". Even if you have got something like those ship containers, Trying to get into a contract and moving the hardware around can be quite a hassle. Especially with Importing and exporting these containers. There is just too much legal work involved Unless obviously, you land a contract like this where you are allowed to build a debt of 1.5 million dollars.
392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 17, 2018, 11:14:03 PM
@Raja_MBZ Don't rule em out just yet. One good session from Yasir could turn the game their way, but yeah anything above 200 will require some chasing to do. Especially when the ball is turning. That's why I said it will be a thriller. But If you ask me, Pakistan made a mistake for not playing Fakhar, Someone like him could have helped their cause. Especially in the situation, they are in now. I will never be able to understand what goes on in Pakistan's Selectors mind. They surprise me...

Any riser above 007 version is good enough to buy it.

I had the 007 versions, They never failed on me. All other versions have bailed on me in one way or another. They have this only 6pin connection and they work like a charm. I bought em from aliexpress. OP if you are interested, you can check em out here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/NEW-aad-in-card-PCIe-1-to-4-PCI-express-16X-slots-Riser-Card-PCI-E/32812873421.html

I bought a bunch of them for my rigs and they worked flawlessly. Ask the seller for 6pin 007 versions and you will be Gucci...
394  Bitcoin / Press / [2018-11-17] Two Bitcoin Mining Companies Disappear From Sweden Owing $1.5M on: November 17, 2018, 03:27:44 PM
From the article:
- Victims of the cryptocurrency bear market, two cryptocurrency firms have disappeared from Sweden.
- NGDC and Chasqui Tech, the two companies in question, abandoned Sweden without paying their rent and electricity bills.

It's funny how they are trying to gain sympathy for the scammers by blaming the bear market for their exit. Pathetic Reporting as usual. Also, I don't get why the electric company allowed them to build up such debt. My provider would have removed me from the grid if I didn't pay for 3 months. I kinda blame them, even if they had a long-term deal. I would have always preferred a payment every 3 months to reduce the risk.
395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 17, 2018, 02:19:36 PM
This will be a thriller... New Zealand is only 18 runs behind and they are just 1 wicket down. If New Zealand can take the target towards 250-ish mark it will be a good total to defend on day 4 and day 5 pitch. 250 alone can be a winning a score iyam. They didn't allow Pakistan to get away. I believe if they bat out the first season tomorrow, They will easily get a lead of 250. Tomorrow's Morning season will decide the fate of this match.

I have a feeling that history is repeating itself. Not only we will see $4800 but we will go down to the $2000's. I believe the true bottom will be in the $2000's. Don't get me wrong. I am long on bitcoin but something tells me $2000 will be coming soon. The market will be tested and then we will grow from there.
397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 16, 2018, 02:35:21 PM
Yeah, Good bowling from Pakistan. I mean dismantling New Zealand on day 1 isn't bad. They should try to bat the next 2 days out. Try to get to 350-400 on the board and bury new zealand from there. This will give them ample time to bowl New Zealand out.

White hat hackers should be able to reverse engineer most of those locked systems though, no?

Most likely no, These files get encrypted. Unless these whitehat hackers can find encryption keys they can't do really much. Bruteforcing is an option but that requires time and a huge amount of resources to pull it off. Most of these ransonwares are time locked So Bruteforcing things out certainly isn't an option.

@bithodler yeah I won't be surprised either. I mean a dude like him https://www.ccn.com/bitcoin-is-the-evil-spawn-of-the-financial-crisis-european-central-bank-board-member/

could easily hire people to fake stuff. With the right amount of backing anything is possible iyam.
400  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦊XHOWL 👉DOUBLE 👉COINFLIP 👉TOWER 🎁DAILY BONUS 🤑AFFILATE on: November 15, 2018, 05:03:15 PM
Your script is unique, I like the design. Unfortunately, your coinflip isn't truly provable fair. Let me explain how.

Since The house (xhowl) has access to the server seed, nonce and the client seed, xhowl can use this unfairly. Since these 3 variables will reveal the player roll number, Xhowl can create a dummy account and use this knowledge to their advantage. They can adjust their(dummy account's) client seed in such a way that it will result in a win for them as they have access to the server seed. So basically the players are trusting xhowl here that they won't screw them over. Hence why CoinFlip isn't fair.

Here's an example
server seed: abcdefghijk (The player doesn't knows this)
client seed (Me): zdxasdassa
nonce: 2
Theoretical Number rolled: 36

Now let's say I open a bet for 0.01 BTC and xhowl decides to screw me over. Since you guys have access to
server seed: abcdefghijk
client seed: 123wqdasd (You guys can test this out and choose a client seed for your dummy account in such a way that the rolled number will be higher than 36)
nonce: 6 (This again can be adjusted as you guys will have total access)
Number rolled: 50

Making an easy profit of 0.01 BTC.
