2601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does it make sense that I mined Tenebrix all night and got nothing? on: October 09, 2011, 04:05:59 PM
I left the miner up all night, and I don't see any interesting balance in my TBC client. I am fully connected, at block 14,577.

Update: I did solve a few blocks after a few days. My first crypto currencies that I mined with my hard earned hardware! Thanks Locust!

However, I will be switching to LiteCoin when it's released.

Why not switch to SolidCoin mate ?

Can you at least give us an ETA for this please  Roll Eyes
2603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to grow up. on: October 09, 2011, 04:03:03 PM
@Lolcust, nominally is different from actually--to my knowledge there is no *coin out which strives for the latter (a much harder problem).

As an aside, I do applaud you for Geist Geld, at least as it was originally presented. It came out just as I was in a debate with someone else about the possibility of bitcoin supporting very-short rounds. I had done some modeling which showed that rounds as short as ~4.5s were possible on the current bitcoin network. Although short round-times have made other attacks against the GEG network much worse, it has not been the root source of any security problems, and the network has been remarkably stable (more stable, in fact, than I had predicted).

GEG singlehandedly dispelled a number of myths about round-times that were until now widely believed on this forum. That kind of experimentation is a Good Thing.

First you rant about Geist Geld for having faster transactions as its sole selling point but then you praise it? You are contradicting your first post by admitting that the experiment was useful.

I agree though that the economic design is the most important part of any new currency and that currency creators are not paying any attention to it.

Well, take a look at EnCoin mate !
2604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What speed are your getting CPU mining TENEBRIX? on: October 09, 2011, 03:53:28 PM
LOL no wonder you are getting all of the blocks mate with that kind of speed  Shocked

So, it seems that Apple devices really are MAGICAL huh !?
2605  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: October 09, 2011, 03:51:30 PM
Good one, CH.

Seems like our 8 Japanese scammers ( Satoshi = kano = BitcoinExpress = ArtForz = lolcust = SAC = MtGox = coblee ) are getting a little bit scared of SC2 and its upcoming success. Their failcoins scamcoins : Bitcoin, Tenebrix, Fairbrix, Litecoin, I0coin etc. are getting less and less attention by day.

BitcoinExpress saw he cannot hack the new SC2 and balled out of the challenge. What a loser. Also, why the fuck do people care there are nodes in the system. Bitcoin is decentralized MY ARSE !!! Gavin makes the rules, "Satoshi" holds more coins than anyone here, mtgox is the only major exchange -> yep sounds pretty damn decentralized to me. Normal people don't care about this ideological BS they just want a system that works only idiot living in the basement geeks care about "decentralized". Nothing is truly decentralized fools, it is only an ilusion.
2606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Tenebrix, a CPU-friendly, GPU-hostile cryptocurrency on: October 09, 2011, 03:38:13 PM
LOL 600 khash/s !!!

Any plans to merge mine this shit with Fairbrix and Litecoin ( as they are all using scrypt AMD shit ) Huh Or else I'm going to Solidcoin thank you very much.
2607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is anyone planning a push for Namecoin acceptance? on: October 09, 2011, 03:34:34 PM
Yet more proof that Satoshi / all the other IDs came from Japan ( who the fuck is Cthulu Huh ) and we all got screwed by manga watching noodle eating geeks.

Cthulhu is a reoccurring character in the works of H.P Lovecraft, an American writer of short horror stories. The reference has nothing to do with manga.

Check out the books on amazon, they are well worth reading.

Yes that's where Cthulhu 'he' originated ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cthulhu ),
but 'she' is also a manga/anime character that I posted a pic of before
( http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=11791 )
Obviously from the title of the manga/anime the name was taken from the original Lovecraft story.

H.P. Lovecraft inspired a very large amount of fiction, that name will have been used a great number of times. As far as I've seen nothing improves on the original works but I've not seen or read everything.

Cthulhu is only a 'he' as the English language lacks a gender neutral way of referring to a sentient being.

The picture we want to embed in the blockchain would look something like this:

So now it is not manga anymore and it is a "he" !? Trying to recover the scam, are we ?
2608  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many total bitcoins are out there in circulation? on: October 09, 2011, 03:24:22 AM
Certainly less than what lolcust has pregenerated in Tenebrix crap ( 7.7 million ) !
2609  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Merged mining now live on: October 09, 2011, 03:19:41 AM
I wonder if it is possible that another large pool IS doing merged mining behind the scenses and simply keeping the NMC rewards.

I mean it is transparent to the miners right.  They still get paid for BTC and pool keeps the NMC.

I suspect deepbit.net is already doing this. Damn scammers !!!
2610  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Anyone ever seen a payout from merged mining? on: October 09, 2011, 03:10:48 AM
Nope. Looks like yet another SCAM !!!
2611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Tenebrix, a CPU-friendly, GPU-hostile cryptocurrency on: October 09, 2011, 03:07:54 AM
^Interestingly,I believe the Masterpool site owner the approached the Solidcoin developer but mentioned it doesn't seem plausible to pursue for some reason or the other.

On the other hand would still love an Intel proc. optimized variant of "Minerd",lol.

Same. Otherwise fuck Tenecrapix and I move to SC2 as that is best for Intel !!!
2612  Economy / Speculation / Re: Effect of scams, hacks and other scandals on price on: October 09, 2011, 02:45:47 AM
Please fill me in. What is so funneh !?  Roll Eyes
2613  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin prices falling! on: October 09, 2011, 02:27:03 AM

3-4$ is just fine to buy and hold them. remeber: there is a maximum of 21 million. what does that mean?! even if we just have 10 million users of BTC, that means there is on average only 2 BTCs, which means i am now (with my laughable 26BTC) 13x as rich as the future-average user.

--> worth WILL go up. as it did before.
the only risk that this will not happen is simply YOU ALL 'selffullfilling-prophency'-shortselling BTC to death.
So just don't panic.

Worldeconomy and traditional fiat-currencies have much bigger troubles now. i REALLY consider BTC a much secure (!!) investment than e.g. currencies like dollar or euro (they show a high volatiliy and inflation currently, but nobody ever thought of counting that into there bitcoin calculations?!)

example: $ is about 1/5 of the worth is was when george bush senior entered government! THINK of this! this is the normality! inflation hits you hard in $!!

.. my enthusiastic thoughts.

Keep drinking the Kool Aid my friend. Prices bound to go <$1
2614  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Merged mining now live on: October 09, 2011, 01:16:19 AM
You can now mine Bitcoin and Namecoin simultaneously without needing to split your hashing power between the two.

Pools with MM enabled:

- MasterPool
- Simplecoin
- Nmcbit

Thank you for this information. Now I can dump twice the coins YAY !
2615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Announce] Fairbrix relaunched! on: October 09, 2011, 01:11:06 AM
Then, do not mine it.  No one is taking out a gun and forcing you to mine Fairbrix, there are quite a lot of other coins for you to try.

It is very similar to Tenebrix no doubt, but I don't think how it is going to be a scam.

It has not got an exchange so I cannot pump and dump it !!!

Sure, I will go with scammer's Bitcoin / Tenebrix. Or rather SC2 as that shows great promise ATM. All the other scam coins can perish.
2616  Economy / Speculation / Re: Effect of scams, hacks and other scandals on price on: October 09, 2011, 01:09:00 AM
Price will fall as the cat is out of the bag. Satoshi = ArtForz = kano = lolcust = BitcoinExpress = MtGox = SAC which are one and the same person or a group of Japanese scammers / hackers who got us screwed with this scheme. Enjoy holding the bag after <$1 prices ! There is only one route from here and that is DOWN.
2617  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never reach $20 again on: October 09, 2011, 01:04:57 AM
And the price continues to fall...
You still here ...

I'll stop posting when the price hits $20.

How can I get your crash preparation kit. I've been scammed by the 7 Japanese scammers ( Satoshi = ArtForz = kano = SAC = lolcust = BitcoinExpress = MtGox ). Thanks !
2618  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: October 09, 2011, 12:53:32 AM
who the fuck cares?

no. seriously.

why is this even remotely important?

They ( Satoshi = ArtForz = BitcoinExpress = lolcust = SAC = MtGox ) care so much about him because they hate competition.

Considering how many illegal things they have done so far, I would be pretty cautious if I was CH / RS right now, especially since they got his address.

I'm telling you these scammers will go all the way from Japan to Australia to eliminate the competition ( SolidCoin 2 ). They publicly admitted to killing Fairbrix and Namecoin. They can do it again. Who knows what their limits are and what they are going to do next. It seems they ( the 6 mentioned above ) have so much hate for SC / CH / RS that they might even go to extremes like that if SC2 becomes too much of a threat to Bitcoin / Tenebrix scam chains. They are probably ones who dumped 20k Bitcoins last week and same people hacking and robbing wallets like there is no tomorrow.

Again more lies I never admitted to attacking anything and just because I dislike thieves including the likes of CH/RS does not make me a hater I would think that makes me a sensible person not trusting a thief with anything.

You are not fooling anyone son. Get off the gra$$, it is not doing you any good.
2619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitcoinExpress on: October 09, 2011, 12:47:12 AM
Holy crap, he did didn't he?

Sounds like it's time to put the pudding where your mouth is, or something like that.

Working on, the agreed time frame is Oct 17th.

Oh C'mon now, he delivered ahead of schedule, why don't you bump yours up to the 14th or 15th .... or do you need some extra time to go to the library?

Yep sounds about right to me. He delivered 8 October and 10 was the deadline. You should kill it by 15th if you got the balls.
2620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Tenebrix, a CPU-friendly, GPU-hostile cryptocurrency on: October 09, 2011, 12:43:44 AM
Please merge mine Tenebrix and SolidCoin 2 !!! This will prove me that you ( Tenebrix guys ) have no bad intentions. Thank you !!!
D'oh Tongue
You need source code to do that - yeah think about it next time.
... and since the hash function is different you also can't merge mine.

Damn it !!! Plans ... crushed  Angry
