It's stupid to say that claymore took open source miner, modified it a LITTLE, then released his own. He proved that he is good at what he is doing a million times.

Ethereum:
The r9 390 should be able to do 36mhash. When undervolted the card use 260watt...
I think Wolf's private ASM kernel is the best one for Hawaii. I don't see much point in trying to optimize for the older cards. Even though I have Pitcairn, Hawaii, Tonga, Tahiti & Polaris cards, I'm only working on a eth miner for Tonga & Polaris on Linux. I know this is probably a very "noob" question - but how does someone obtain a "Wolf's private ASM kernel" and is it worth it for someone who has only 6 Hawaii GPUs? Or is it only economically practical for large mining farms? I'm currently using the version of sgminer-gm supplied with Ethos 1.2.0 and for me it does better than Claymore, in terms of hash-rate vs power consumption. Hawaii GPUs are great at hashing but they just use SO MUCH power. I also have a rig with a couple of gtx1070s on it and they hash at approximately the same rate as my 290s but using maybe 60% of the power consumption. I have not yet tried Gateless Gate but I am going to out of curiosity try it for ETH and ZEC. I think that all those people out there using Claymore because it does dual mining are going to learn in the long term that it will just make their cards fail much more quickly than they would have just "single" mining. I doubt there are many scenarios in the intended usage of these GPUs (gaming, etc) that demand what dual mining demands of a GPU for sustained periods of time, but since I'm not an engineer that is just a guess. You contact Wolf and make a deal with him. But 6 cards is way not profitable to pay for a kernel.

For all of you guys i made a custom bios from the one in the main post. You won't need any wattool, wattman, afterbuner, trixx or any other software of that type, i set everything in the bios like Insider00 did with wattool, so : Def gpu clock : 1144 Mhz Def mem clock: 2150 Mhz Mem straps 1625 VDDC (gpu voltage) set at 925mV TDP 120w Set fans to hold cards at about 70c, so you don't need fan regulation either Before flashing remove ALL software that you used before for manipulating (wattool,wattman,afterbuner,trixx...). Then clean all video drivers with DDU. Flash bios. Reboot, reinstall video drivers. Test. Enjoy http://www.filedropper.com/s480-8gb-micron

that's was you present for easter

Old story. It's a little too late for a 'new' eth kernel, but that's my opinion.
how do you measure 1.5% increase in performance when hashing speed is not constant ?

yes my login issue was resolved, by adding my phone number in the system. That operation took few days to accomplish, that's why i made a joke that it's a "one man show". Don't feel insulted.
Thanks for resolving my/yours issue.

Probably a one man show

Few days and i'm still waiting on you to add my phone num so i could log in into wirexapp site... My request id : 83489

bad exchange rates. really really bad.

(68.3 + ~40 ) = 108.3 W + min. 40w for motherboard = total 148w
No, it cant be 95w from wall, im sorry. Even a photo wouldn't convince me.
If your riser is taking up 40w then I would recommend you change another brand as it will surely melt any of the power cable. It is taking 60% value of a graphic card. Not very efficient running at 40w just to power up a riser. 40w in my math is what adaseb wrote 44w, the value in gpu-z is not the real w, its just the gpu, approx you have to add 40-45w to what you see in gpu-z, and that's only the video card. 40-50w for the mobo, hdd with one card idle. If you have 6 cards on the mobo then it's about 120-130w for the mobo and idle cards.

Can't log in on the new interface, so i cannot access my account. Phone number is not set?! 1. Never had that on e-coin 2. How can i set it if i can't log in?

adaseb, that card has def. mem 1650mhz ? Im planning in buying a few, is it working ok? How much can you push the mem?
yes, for now i tried to raise memory more but didn't get better result i only modified straps 1750-2000, nothing else, very happy with results Try 1130/2150, maybe you get more, i think 1075 is too low.
all of your cards can handle 2150mhz mem ?
you can do everything you want in wattTool , you don't need afterburner at all.
not sure 580 will change things significantly in performance per watt. More likely next generation Vega will though. 580 cards are the same polaris chip so until Vega we won't see anyting spectacular.

95w in Gpu-z no ? Thats awesome if from wall, whole computer about 155w ?

I'll prepare documentation this weekend to go along with all of this, that makes it clear what you're doing when you change stuff; and what each value is used for. You're very welcome. This stuff shouldn't be kept hidden - the straps are the important things, and people will still pay handsomely for straps.
Did this happen ?
