2781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin ever become a widely adopted global payment solution? on: June 02, 2021, 06:04:56 AM
Satoshi envisioned Bitcoin as a Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System. While it can and has been used for payments, its use as a medium of exchange has so far been very limited.

It has moved from being a collectible to a store of value. Will it ever move to being a widely adopted medium of exchange and global payment solution?
Bitcoin adoption had started growing, it takes time to finally accepted by all people, not this time but could be happening in the future. Perhaps, we are seeing that many establishments are accepting Bitcoin's payment now. It was just an indication that in the coming years, the majority of the business globally will able to cope with the new technology as we know that we are more on the online payments system.
2782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This dip is PROOF that "I wish I would've bought Bitcoin at X price" is nonsense on: June 01, 2021, 11:43:59 PM
It all just wishes because they don't invest any, if they try that after hearing about Bitcoin then they might become rich now. But these people are full of doubts, no wonder why it all just become like that.

How I wish I could buy...
It supposed to be I have to invest now and so I can see what will really happen to me after. If we think like this, It find nothing like that and everyone will be happy with the results.
2783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: June 01, 2021, 02:44:02 PM
This fight is coming up fast. I have to admit that I’m feeling a little less confident than I should be in Logan Paul’s ability to get off a lucky shot. I still am hoping for the best though. In any case this should be an event to witness. I watched a documentary on the fight last night and Logan said he was planning to enter the ring 40 lbs heavier than Floyd. We’ll see.
40 lbs heavier?  does he had a Speed to go along with floyd? and now he wanted to be more heavier?

this man is getting desperate and obviously another Vlog from is Youtube account lol.

He thought he would win with him heavier than Floyd, he is insane, had he not made research about the past fights of Floyd?

Ok I will just help him so he'll stop dreaming.

look at this fight. https://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/la-sp-mayweather-mcgregor-a-look-back-at-floyd-mayweather-s-last-1503770883-htmlstory.html

2784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Donaire vs Oubaali - May 29 on: June 01, 2021, 02:26:08 PM
I watched the game and I am amazed on how the Filipino Flash controlled the fight until Round 3. What surprises me the most is that, this may be a candidate for K.O of the year! Man, Donaire managed to K.O. him after the last second of Round 3 and Oubaali was not able to recovered from those punches.

I also think that the referee made the right choice on throwing the towel. Dude was confused and wobbly after several punches and hooks to his face. Even if it was the end of the round, Oubaali was just not able to recover and convince the referee that he can still fight.

I think rounds 1-2 is even, it was Oubaali who is the aggressor, I even believe that the judges gave that first two rounds for him. Donaire was only looking for the best timing, he is not punching a lot and if you notice, in round one he is not throwing his left hook, that's because he is just measuring the distance and observing his opponent.
2785  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 2 Simple Ways Crypto Whales Manipulate the Market on: June 01, 2021, 01:43:28 PM
If you will going to HOLD longer then there will be no option for whale to manipulate the market, because the only thing they can do is to shake the market and if noob and week investors affected of the movement then the whales success .
but if all of us small investors will not take part then we will win against them.
That's what a strong hand will always defeat the whale, even how they will spread their FUD, no one will listen to them and follow what they say.

Those wealthy and high institutional investors are considered as a whale and they are enemies to us a small investor.  A low volume altcoins are easy for them to shake and create FUD so that weak people will easily believe in their hidden agenda of making a profit in the market.

That's why to invest in what you can afford because holding for a long time and aiming to gain profit isn't easy.  There's no time frame for that or else, patiently wait until it will come.
But most of the time they are winning. Whales create FUD, weak hands got shaken easily, and start to get panic.
Whether we like it or not, these rich people that we called whales are making their own way to make money and to take advantage of the market while small investors riding on it. But it was too unfortunate that most of the newcomers got their trap and caught. So I could say that whales are smarter than causal investors and they can really manipulate the market if they want to.
2786  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many got REKT :( on: May 30, 2021, 11:10:37 PM
Well, there is nothing we can do is to observe the market price when it will surge back again. I understand that there are too many people losing at this point, but those who already sell their assets will perhaps accepting about their loss. Many of us have got REKT on our portfolio but there is no loss if you will be able to wait for a perfect time, just be it and keep hold as yours. Those people who already understand this situation will most likely hold their asset from any exchange,

That is the reality of crypto. Those who accept their losses and get out of crypto should not blame it for whatever happened because at first, it was their choice to buy crypto at very high prices and when the markets dumped, they chose to sell it instead of waiting. The traders who bought btc at $19950 in 2018 surge and didn't sell anything till date are in ~double profits.
But I think they should have to sell it now before the market will turn in dip again.

The common problem that I saw mostly to holders is being greedy, they don't contend in x2, x3 profit but they are more preferred to x10. That is why many had missed the biggest opportunity we have in the past day. I don't suggest people do holding unless if it is necessary but to sell it once there is a profit. Well, of course, we also have to analyze the market first.
2787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Im Surprisd btc still alive on: May 28, 2021, 09:41:05 PM

So I guess btc is alive only that some big important rich person Can speculate and dump btc on poor suckers.

So to Say to take money from people and scam them.
If Bitcoin had no potential in the market and playing an important role, you will be sure to see not the top coin but on the bottom. However, you will see the opposite position as obvious that Bitcoin has an important role in the market. You can never take away from it, in fact, for too many times that people called Bitcoin a scam but wondering that instead of expecting people will leave and hate Bitcoin the more they got close to it and more investors had come.
2788  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: looking for a active trading companion on: May 28, 2021, 09:25:19 PM
You can find a lot of trading companions but to know if that is active, legit, trusted? You will just find out once you've been together. Because all of these want to assume themselves and pretending they are good, are they?

I know there are people whom you can trust online but the question is if you can also be trusted? The same logic, the same reason we ended for, and that last one are who will fund the trades and manage it? Because instead of handling your money to others, better to have it in your hands for the safe keep.
2789  Economy / Speculation / Re: From trader become holder because the market is crashing on: May 28, 2021, 09:09:09 PM
When bitcoin drops to $30000, this is a disaster for most traders who buy bitcoin and altcoins at a price high. We didn't expect bitcoin to fall this low, so causing altcoins prices to be dumped very deeply. For traders who have already lost over 25% in trading, then it is best not to cut losses because it will make lose some capital. So believe me, the bitcoin price will back up again and altcoins price will rise again.
If you are an actual trader then you got features to save yourself from such crashes like stop loss so you can leave the market with small loss instead of losing half of your capital. And if you missed to exit in that way then you have two choices, whether you can hold until the price increases or accept your loss and start focusing on making the profits with current market movements.
Most probably, traders will take the cut loss option rather than to get stuck and waste their time waiting for the recovery. Because in their minds that if they don't move, if they don't sacrifice those few losses, the more chances that they got paralyze, and most likely they will not call themselves as a trader.
But I was to assume that OP isn't a pro-trader, he just knows about trading but in a situation like this, he prepared to become a holder, not being a trader anymore. Well, there is no wrong with that.
2790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 28, 2021, 03:43:51 PM
I think the best series in the first round of the playoffs is the Knicks vs Hawks.

Do you agree with that guys?

This is just my personal opinion, I just see that they evenly match although the Hawks steal one game on the road.
I also like how Rose is given more playing time and a big responsibility to lead the team.

I would agree if Knicks will win at least 1 game on the road, if not, then there's a big possibility that the series will end in game 5. Well, game 1 was really close, game 2 was a good win as they rally to make it happen, so this Knicks team has a spirit to win as they do not give up easily.
2791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost all my crypto gains this not fair! on: May 28, 2021, 03:30:38 PM
You did not lose, it's normal price fluctuate and all you have to do is just to relax, hold, and don't panic.

The time has come that the market is not bullish anymore, you should understand it, it's not new, we always see this kind of scenario even in the past, but what matters is to be patient and always trust the coin that you hold that will bounce back and will achieve a new all-time high again.

If you don't want to lose those possible profits better not to do anything with your current assets,

the market will gain back the momentum, though it's not easy to predict when but the chances is

That's why patience is very important, with patience you will not panic.
OP says the word "not fair", it seems like he doesn't understand how crypto works, you came here to make a profit but you are not guaranteed a profit.

The reality is, there are people who make money, there are also people who lose money.

Quote
always there just like what we witness way back, history keep repeating itself.
And we just have to do the same effective strategy, which is to hold.
2792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should you buy bitcoin right now? on: May 28, 2021, 02:05:34 PM
it's too late to buy Bitcoin. Its value is increasing day by day.We should have bought it couple of years ago. In 2025 people will say it again, it's too late now. It us said that the future economy will depend on bitcoin.

If you really understand how bitcoin works, you'd know that there's no particular perfect time to buy bitcoin and you'd also know that buying bitcoin at anytime and at any price would surely give you profits as long as you can hold even if there's a bearish market after you bought.
Although, many do say that the perfect time to buy is during the dip. This may be true but you should know that those that bought during the bull market run will also make their profits as long as they can hold.
There is no perfect time for buying Bitcoin but you can't deny yourself that it was a good buying position when the price is cheaper.
Actually, I don't buy Bitcoin during the bullish season, I wait for the price to dump and that is because we are looking for a higher profit. A cheaper to buy and bigger chances to make a bigger profit as well when compared to buying at an expensive price.

Might to say for sure that many investors are waiting for the bearish season as it was a buying opportunity for them.
2793  Other / Archival / Re: The community created a petition: Elon Musk, sell your bitcoin on: May 28, 2021, 01:44:39 PM
~
Just a post would be necessary, but having petition is too much with little to no effect.
We already have too much drama going on in crypto especially back in the days of McAfee.
We had enough.
Okay, then let's talk less about Elon. If the petition works, that we think it needs a celebration...But I don't think that we really need to reach that moment as I see that Elon Musk is now leaving crypto. And even without this petition, he is willing to send himself out from here, right?

If people will become more curious about the life EM, this drama wouldn't have an end. People will keep talking as they pretending that they know more about the life of Elon. Why not set him free and for us also to move on.

2795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casimero vs Rigondeaux this August 14, 2021 on: May 28, 2021, 11:56:32 AM
On the surface, people will easily bet on Casimero because he is at the peak of his career, but he is fighting a fighter who once beat Donaire in his prime, Casimero should not take this fight lightly as he did on some of his last fights, Rigondeaux is still capable to pull out an upset, he is a boxer who wants a comeback and Casimero can fave the way for that comeback.

Rigondeaux was one of the skillful figther before, but age will always slow down a fighter. However, he is the kind of fighter who you don't want to underestimate.
The last time I watched him box against Loma, I can say his footwork slowdown a bit, maybe because Loma is more younger and faster than him, but Rigondeaux hands speed was still there, though the power had been reduced a little bit but he can still deliver a good counter punch.

Casimero on the other hand is still hungry to fight and younger. So, yeah he might be the favourite for this match.
He as well seems to be enjoying vlogging and messing around with non-boxer YouTuber lol.

Rigondeaux has learned his lesson the hard way, he goes up in weight, but he challenges the champion right away, that did not help him, so he decided to come back to his original weight and challenge a champion, this is good for boxing, Rigondeaux career is not over yet though he is not getting any younger anymore.

Exactly, and he will not go up anymore, probably will retire in the bantamweight division but his career is not yet over if he will win against Casimero.

odds are available, and it's Casimero who is the favorites.

2796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Run from Bitcoin. Ethereum will flip it on: May 28, 2021, 11:25:35 AM
Both are good coins but I don't see ETH will take over the market and will replace bitcoin.
I have a feeling that ETH has a threat to be replaced by BNB and it's likely to happen compared to ETH taking over bitcoin.

That's your opinion but I'm sure the majority will agree with me in my opinion.

BTC is a sure no. 1,... ETH, not sure it will stay for long.
2797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: May 27, 2021, 09:06:19 PM
Don't talk too much about the dump as currently, a pump is happening.

Check out the https://coinmarketcap.com/.. bitcoin has an 11% rise today and altcoins have ever better rise.
This should give value to your bitcoin, up 11%, is an extra profit.

So this is it, sometimes it's bullish, sometimes it's bearish, nothing special.
That's very usual.

We dump, we see the pump.

We see a small percentage for the pump but we've got more than it during the dump. But that's it, as said, it's very normal.

Bitcoin is struggling to break the $40k, it was supposed to be easy if the market is bullish, but it seems not already. A rise is good but we should not make an instant judgment yet to ride with it, we have to be careful as bitcoin has not fully recovered yet, it could fall again and cause panic, you know that's how the market worked, it's very unpredictable, so we have to be smart all the time.
Well, that could be the conclusion that we're no longer in the bull run if that's the attitude of it if it cannot be back on the $40k level again. But like today, it has broken $40k and I saw it. But that doesn't mean the bull run is back again.

These are really the usual fluctuations that we'll see in the market. And I'll just include the tx fees, it's such a good thing to see that it's not that high as the other cryptos during transfers and those who are not confident to gamble in btc should be confident now.

It's not the kind of run that we saw in the past months, it's slowing down and bullish sentiment might slowly be going down now. Though there are some bullish movements I believe bearish is more dominant as we are heading for a heavy correction.

In connection to that, when the market is less congested, we can expect an affordable transaction fee and gambling would be back to normal for small-time gamblers.
2798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the biggest crowdfunded bankroll investment casinos now? on: May 27, 2021, 08:46:41 PM
I've seen some projects in ICO that have gathered a decent amount of investment but they are not living up to their potential now.

We have Edgeless which was very popular back in the day but was silent now.

Maybe the time for casino bankroll crowdfunding will not anymore succeed now or they are not really as effective as other projects.
Bitdice as well, but their token is not profitable so I would say they are not profitable.
2799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 27, 2021, 08:34:02 PM
Pick of the day for me is the W for Suns. Chris Paul had bad time watching most of the 4th quarter in the second game and i expect him to get back and be the key player in the game. We saw Phoenix to battle even without him and in fact they weren't far from pulling a 2-0 lead. With CP3 on the floor I think that Suns will get back the homecourt advantage.

If only Paul is 100%, I would bet on them, but if he is not, then we might see the same outcome in game 2, and even worse for the Suns as the  Lakers are back at their home court and they are likely to get the first win if they will lose one here.

have you chosen your pick @notblox1?

@chaser15 picks are winning, 2 out of 3 have already won, only one is lacking and New York Knicks will likely win in game 2.
