1921  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear vs Bull : The Beauty Of Cryptocurrency on: February 21, 2022, 12:39:20 PM
It is a matter of how people respond to the abrupt changes in the market. Many had sold their crypto during the bear season for they are worried about the market will going to drop more without realizing that they can still make a profit upon waiting for the recovery. I'd see that FEAR is a big problem in most of us here, uncontrollable emotions trigger unwanted decisions that make us regret. I'm into that situation before but I realize that we can make it right if we are optimistic about the market flow.
With all the events that make the crypto market unpredictable, we can't be more profitable if we always have fear inside. Instead, we should be more risk takers as there can be no possible big changes that will take place if we never dare to take the risk. And yes, being more optimistic too could always give us an edge so we can make more profits regardless of the current season, be it bullish or bearish. But one thing is certain, bull and bear have always bring opportunities not to lose but to offer us profits.
^ Every market action is very important to us when bull market comes holders are happy and then when the bear market comes, buyers or investors are quite too happy because they can able to purchase at the lower price and they know that someday this will give benefit to them in the long run.
It is natural to BTC that there is an up and down price movement and that is called fluctuation which is in theta way they are easy making money in trading.
Nevertheless, if you hold BTC you have nothing to lose if you know how to control it.
If we all have this kind of thinking, we can't hear any complaints but because we all have a different mindset when it comes to market changes, this will unlikely to happen. We already have the opportunities and it keeps on knocking us but too sad that many were ignoring it while keeping those negative mindsets. Honestly, many people are not learning yet, they are getting far once seeing the market is red.
1922  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: valuable experience on: February 18, 2022, 05:58:11 PM
hi have you ever heard of the binomo platform? i lost $300k while trading on the binomo platform. i feel stupid, i thought the binomo site is a cryptoqurrency trading site in general, uh it turns out the site is a gambling site under the guise of trading. this is a valuable experience because i have lost all the money in just seconds  Cry
nowadays people around me think that cryptocurrency is a scam, people no longer believe in bitcoin. the name of the cryptoqurrency is tarnished because of the binomo platform  Cry
That you never know because you'd never conduct any searches before using this platform. Losing $300k for just in seconds, easy money for them, actually.
Well, I would really feel bad for it but somehow, most of the time our experience will give us some learnings that we can never forget. This is really not, as for sure after experiencing like this we probably change our style and most probably, we make a thorough research of the platform before we gonna use them for the sake of not happening again.

1924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where is SHIB coin going? on: February 18, 2022, 04:43:54 PM
SHIB has been stable lately. Are you expecting a pumping about this crypto soon? What are your expectations about SHIB in the near future? Will this project meet expectations? Its current value is $0.00002. How many dollars do you think it would be? Is it a crypto to be expected for investment? The market cap of $11 Billion and the amount of circulating supply is insane. Is it normal for it to be so low under these conditions?
Well, I'm not but can't just be very negative to it as to whether we like it or not, pumps can be possible and it only depends if the market turns to Bullish again. But, with the current performance of Shiba Inu, that leaves something to become doubtful about it as this project seems not looking good unlike before while Doge is on the shilling.
I can't fully assume what will happen next but yeah unless there is a clear reason for its existence as we've never seen it till now.
1925  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are the difference ? on: February 18, 2022, 03:51:08 PM
Bitcoin is always the original, any coin that has bitcoin on its first name is mostly a bitcoin fork.

Don't trust any coin, especially bitcoin cash because bitcoin will always remain at the top, and look at the price performance of BCH, (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-cash/), it's going down while other altcoins like Ethereum and Binance made a new ATH during the bull run last year.

Japan’s borders could be set to reopen in March after being closed to tourists for two years.
The tight restrictions are set to expire on 28 February. And, though they could be extended again, the government is reportedly inclined to let them end.
Source: https://www.euronews.com/travel/2022/02/16/japan-s-travel-restrict

Found this article while I was searching for some updates about this fight. Seems that they're getting ready to welcome tourists again soon and hopefully we can get some updates about this fight too.

Great news, this is the information where we can think that the fight will happen this year. We've been talking about this fight since it's a unification fight, and now that they have lifted up the restriction, there's no reason that this fight will not happen.

Last year, they said that this fight will be postponed for maybe a month and it has been already 2 months since then. Well at least now we have something to look forward for and by starting at the fact that Japan is getting ready to ease up restrictions and travel bans by the end of this month. The people and the fans are really rooting about this unification fight, so hopefully we can see this much awaited match before mid year.

Indeed, the news sounds very positive and I'm optimistic that we will see this fight be realized this year. As the restriction lightens, there are no more excuses for a fight to be canceled, unless one of the fighters will choose not to continue, and I'm pretty sure in this fight it's not gonna be GGG who would do that.
1927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Amir Khan vs Kell Brook - Feb 19, 2022 on: February 18, 2022, 01:26:12 PM
I'm sure they will land power punches against each other since they are both skilled boxers but who has the tougher chin though? We already know from his past boxing matches that that is Khan's real weakness so I am siding with the bookies and going for Brooks.
That's a pretty niche factor to decide who's going to win, I am pretty sure that Khan is aware of that and he is probably preparing to do a counter if not defense. Brooks is a good fighter too but I don't have the confidence that he will be the winner in this one although I am still indecisive with Khan too.

It's because we have seen Khan fight before and his first lost was a knockout in the first round.

And then we have seen Canelo blasted him in just one punch because his chin can't hold against powerful puncher. And so Brook has a decent to quality power that once it hit Khan square in the face, there is a big possibility that he will have a lanky legs and will go down from the power. Of course he can hide and play defense but it won't win fights.

Exactly, he cannot win by just hiding, he can follow what Rigo did in his last fight and you see how the judges scored the fight. He is fighting in their home town, he cannot play safe, he need to gain the respect of the fans by bringing an entertaining fight and that means he has to take the risk.

I don't see it will happen, of all the fights of Khan, he is aggressive, so I expect the same Khan who was an exciting fighter to watch before he got KO due to his glass chin. That "glass chin" words seem to be the most written words and I can see where's that coming.
1928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Martinez - Feb 19, 2022 on: February 18, 2022, 12:47:06 PM
I go with that mindset. It's better for them to create their own destiny,

Instead of comparing or being the next Pacman, it's much better to be known with a self identity
as long as they are excelling with this sport, pinoy fans will recognize them and idolized them, many
young generations will follow the path that they are journeying right now. Good luck to every pinoy
fighters and continue to work harder.
Exactly, after all even if someone in the future is as good as Manny they are going to be a completely different person, for example I find Manny to be a very likable individual however that does not means that the next star of of Philippines will be the same and will be loved by the public as much as Manny was, so it is better to let boxers to forge their own story, that way instead of a cheap imitation of Manny we will see who they truly are, and to me that is way more attractive.

Every boxer with good potential that will come out in the Philippines will be compared to Pacquiao's achievement it's possible we have up and coming boxers because of the inspiration brought by Pacquiao to the local Philippine boxers, they can be as good as Pacquiao but to equal what he achieved is almost impossible, they will have to trail what Pacquiao has undergone, they must start in the lowest division like a flyweight division to have a chance to equal the 8 belt championship.

I'm not expecting anyone either to be as good as Pacquiao, but to be a champion is already enough. We already have a lot of Filipino champions that we didn't have before Pacman became popular in boxing, it's a blessing and Pacman was there to help the Filipino boxers that has a potential to get bigger fights under his promotion.
1929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 18, 2022, 12:26:34 PM
76ers are doing great and they won another game against a really tough opponent like Bucks this time. Embiid was the star of the game like he is nearly all the time. I hope that they can maintain this effort in the playoff round too. Because there have been many teams that were very good in the regular season but were terrible in the playoffs. 76ers deserve to be successful this season and I hope they wouldn't be eliminated earlier in the playoffs. But after Harden's joining, it doesn't seem very likely. The most important thing is his adapting to the team quickly.
That's a good win by the 76ers, though Harden is still not playing, they still manage to beat the Bucks. Embiid had 42 points, which was a huge one, he beat Giannis here and he take his team to success. Looks like 76ers is still a strong team despite of the trade happened recently.
Joel Embiid is really a MVP candidate in my opinion. He has been carrying the team without Simmons this season. And after what had happen, losing some of its best players like Curry and Drummond, he still manages to carry the team in his back. And it's a great win against their rivals in Bucks in the East. So for me this is a statement win for Joel and the Sixers.
How can we talk so much when they beat the Bucks but we didn't talk when they get hammered by the Celtics prior to the win? Can anybody explain here, lol.. we are getting bias and we hype them so much, yes they are a good team but they also have their struggle.
1930  Economy / Economics / Re: Why many USA senator against bitcoin? on: February 17, 2022, 05:13:41 PM
Of course, if bitcoin will be widely accepted, it will reduce the influence of the dollar which is the most powerful currency in the world. Senators are representative of a country, their job is to support the state and its interest, so it's normal to see that they will hate something that would destroy their interest.
1931  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: stake.com- Does not have gambling responsibility on: February 17, 2022, 04:43:43 PM
Stake's self-exclusion policy, number 9, bullet 1. I think what it says is very clear to me that you should not attempt deposit or place wager, how come it's not your fault where you are the one who deposit?
Quote
You should not attempt to, deposit or place any wager on any of your accounts from which you have requested to be excluded during your selected self-exclusion.

Per stake rule, it's the user who is at negligence for depositing money while under self-exclusion, if stake will not return the amount deposited, they should not be questioned because they are just implementing their rules, and rules are meant to everyone, no exemption.
1932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 17, 2022, 03:45:39 PM

He has to ensure this time that he will pass the weight requirement, otherwise, goodbye to his belt that he achieved through hard work. As a champion, he should be able to afford to hire a good conditioning coach to ensure he is ready every time, especially in big fights.

I am not familiar with the name but I would assume that he is one of the best in business that's why he is hired.

Yes, he needs to ensure that, to make sure that he will continue to protect his belt.

Otherwise, like what you have said, the organization will remove it from him. Those hard works that he accomplished.
to own it will be wasted if he is unable to qualify in this weight division.

But, he's camp will do their best to make sure that they are ready and they will qualify to proceed in this upcoming fight.

I'm sure he will not fail this time, they are both given a long period to prepare for the fight, so there should be no problem in the fight, whatever the excuse of Casimero even if it's true, there's still a chance that he will lose the belt and that is so painful for him and for the fans.
1933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto stuck in sports betting site, now they want KYC on: February 17, 2022, 03:14:53 PM
I'm from the states and have been using a betting website to do some light sports betting. They do not allow US citizens and so I used a VPN to gain access. They only require an email address to create an account, and no KYC unless you want to buy crypto directly from them. I will not name the site for various reasons.

I hate KYC but this is your own fault. Why did you play on that casino if they clearly stated that they don't want you as a customer? You knew the risks, you still wanted to play and now you lost your money. If the money is not going to harm you in anyway, $1200 is a nice amount for a lesson like that. Now you know why you should care about the rules and if you don't, there will be consequences.

We should know the risk of using VPN, it's only acceptable if you use it for privacy but if you are using it to bypass some restriction, then you have to pay the price and you have no right to complain as in the first place you know yourself have violated the TOS.
1934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]: RYAN GARCIA vs EMMANUEL TAGOE - April 9 on: February 17, 2022, 02:28:43 PM
I also have no doubt that Ryan Garcia will once again prevail over his opponent this time. I don't even understand that of all the possible opponents of Garcia, Tagoe was chosen. Tagoe seems not experienced or tested enough to finally face the rising star. He will probably be schooled in this fight before getting knocked out.

To those who hope for an upset, Tagoe at 6.60 is really attractive odds. To those who are sticking with the favorite, betting on specific KO round for Garcia will most probably be the choice.

With the new additional trainer Hall of Fame trainer Joe Goossen for Ryan Garcia camp plus the overwhelming advantage on skills, That 6.60 is a sure trap odds for gambler that expecting an upset fight. Ryan Garcia has a lot of time to train plus the fact that he pick the most unexpected contender for his too long delayed order match. I believe this match is just a preparation for his upcoming match with Gervonta Davis probably on the final quarter of this year. The odds is very one-sided so I will not risk money on this match and just watch it in my couch.

Ryan Garcia is always delaying his progress with so many excuses while his rivals Haney and Gervonta Davis have won titles and fought a lot of credible fighters, now he is facing unknown fighters but even if he beats him decisively the boxing community will not be impressed, he is good at beating unknown and good at cherry-picking his opponents Ryan Garcia is one over rated fighter.

Don't worry, he will not become one of the best if he will not fight a champion, his been out for a while and this is his comeback fight, if he beats Tagoe then for sure we can expect a big fight. IIRC, he even challenge Pacman before but was not given an opportunity, so he is not afraid to fight the greats in boxing.
1935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: should i invest in new project? on: February 17, 2022, 10:16:01 AM

In case you get lucky for investing early, you should not hold any longer. Let them if they will considered all cryptos as a scam just because they have been scammed. We don't need that kind of mentality in here anyway.
That is really understandable as it was a feeling of being scammed on their first try but they shouldn't be supposed to generalize crypto as a scam thing coz that was wrong and it was proven by many already.
Anyway, they are just a few while the majority who knows crypto will eventually come back and enjoy their life even they have a bad experience. And this is a so-called market essence where not all the time we got lucky, sometimes we got mistaken but still, our trust remains.
1936  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there a way to actually get to know the real price of Bitcoin? on: February 17, 2022, 08:35:20 AM
Yes of course there are various sites to see the real value of Bitcoin. You can go to any site and see the price of Bitcoin Coinbase, Coingako binance Exchange for you to see the price of Bitcoin Etc. You can see the price of Bitcoin from the site.
You will never get the right price for Bitcoin because the price of Bitcoin is completely decentralized. Bitcoin prices vary slightly on different exchanges. However, you can visit different exchange sites and find out the exact price.

I'm doubting if exchanges set price of bitcoin. Everything about bitcoin is decentralised and no direct manipulation of bitcoin. What I think is that demand and supply are two major factors that can change price. Exchanges will not be able to manipulate the bitcoin price, if they do it means exchanges should have prices that is far different from each other.
No, that is really impossible otherwise, Bitcoin becomes centralized. It is a way to think that it can never be changed even we know there are manipulations happening in the market. Whales, rich people are aiming to change the position of the market but still, they fail.
Thus, knowing the real price of Bitcoin in the future can never happen even we use all the tools to make TA and no chance that history repeats itself.
1937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: potential moonshots on: February 16, 2022, 02:02:41 PM
I will go to the metaverse since JP morgan was going to the metaverse and im sure that there will be more and more banks opening their virtual office on metaverse and this will be a long term effect to the metaverse token. Remember that the adoption of crypto needs the time and the same thing will happen with metaverse as well. Web 3 coin seems good but this time so many eyes are aiming for the potential that owned by metaverse. I have been actively playing metaverse and play to earn game. Don't you see if metaverse has low marketcap compared with meme tokens?
This can explode anytime.
Jp Morgan is not different from Elon Musk who is also a person with interest and market influence. To follow him will likely put you into doom. Don't get fooled by them, by this kind of promises as you will just regret after. Metaverse projects are in hypes which we can't deny but say you will want to hold them long-term, I really don't think that was a good idea.
I'm not saying JP Morgan is a liar but don't just easily put trust with him as they can somehow lie to get benefits.
1938  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is A Better Option Than Fiat Money? on: February 15, 2022, 04:08:43 PM
In terms of investment, I'm choosing bitcoin, but for the regular transaction, we cannot deny that fiat is more widely accepted compared to bitcoin, so we cannot just ditch fiat for bitcoin because it will not happen. The majority are still using fiat, and I don't see any possibility that bitcoin will surpass the popularity of fiat in the future unless we will shift into a decentralized world or government.
1939  Economy / Speculation / Re: How come BTC is not at least $75,000 yet? on: February 15, 2022, 03:53:14 PM
Bitcoin grows cyclically and in each new cycle of 2-4 years it shows a new historical maximum. The last time the price of bitcoin reached the peak level of 65 thousand dollars apiece. After there was a correction, and here we are where we are - at the level of 40-50 thousand dollars, and there we walk in the corridor. I think this year we will definitely see a new historical maximum - it will be 75 thousand or some higher mark is not yet clear.
I wish to see that but I'd remain realistic this year, as per the trend, everytime there's a bull run there's always a correction, so most probably if the correction will take longer, then this year would not be bullish as some investors are expecting, we might see this year a year of accumulation.
1940  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc and future value on: February 15, 2022, 12:40:32 PM
What I think is that OP had sold his 1 Bitcoin 7-10 years from now.
But anyway, I don't argue how you make your calculation, however, it was found wrong and I don't get it.
It is simple, don't compare Bitcoin to fiat inflation as 1 Bitcoin will remain 1 Bitcoin, it only the price had changed, unlike fiat money that its value will definitely change.
