1821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 25, 2022, 02:20:56 AM
Now the wait for Ben Simmons to join them on the court.

As far as I know, Simmons still can't do anything on the court due to injury. So we shouldn't hope for his return because there are only 9 games left before the end of the regular season. By the way, the funny thing is that if the Nets finish the regular season in their current position in the standings and win the first game in the play-in tournament, they will play against the 76ers in the first round of the playoffs.

Simmons can play already but probably he is still under training with the team, they won't just inset him if he is not yet ready. However, since the playoffs are coming and they want to be an improve team, for sure Simmons will have his minutes earn in his new team now.

Durant and Irving can handle the current situation, Simmons just have to rest and get ready when he is called.

On the contrary, I think he should play already if he can, specially prior to the playoffs, it will be difficult for him to re-adjust in the playoff if he or the team chooses to play him that time. Just play 10 minutes, and get a feel of the new team, for sure the instincts will come to play hard just like he is with the Sixers.
I don't think it's his discretion that will be follow whether he will play or not, he is already under the contract of the Nets and I think he is obligated to play whenever the team tells him to play. My speculation is, he is still not ready, probably both physically and mentally, but as per report, we can expect him to play this month, and if that would not happen, then expect by the following month.

Durant and Irving have lost their game against the Grizzlies with Morant, so definitely Simmons is needed to help.

That was a bad game for them, so they need to win their next game, if they have Simmons the better but if not, they have to maximize what they have currently.

1823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]: RYAN GARCIA vs EMMANUEL TAGOE - April 9 on: March 24, 2022, 09:50:08 PM
In interview he has talk about a possible Loma fight (this will be good), and he still wants to fight Teo Lopez at 140 lbs. But if he is upset in this fight then it might take sometime for him to recover again. So its going to be 50/50.

I'd rather see Ryan Garcia fighting Teo Lopez so he could teach this guy a lesson.

Loma is just too focused for him, I'd say it's a 50/50 fight but if he will fight Teo ( if Teo agrees) and beat him, that would be 2 straight losses for Teo, and for sure Teo will not make an excuse again. However, that will only happen if Garcia will beat Tagoe first which is definitely not hard to do for him.
1824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: March 24, 2022, 09:32:32 PM
But on the other hand Murata is also not an ordinary boxer and he definitely wants to make something that people who see him definitely don't want to forget. even though he is the favorite but on the other hand this match will not be easy for GGG.

I agree on that, he is not just an ordinary fighter because he is also a champion, it's just that GGG is more popular as a boxer but of course, Murata has a chance of winning the fight. The popularity of GGG makes him the favorite to win the fight, and if we look at the betting odds, Murata here is a heavy underdog which IMO a good chance for the backers to take advantage of the odds if they'll like to put a bet on this fight.

Quote
Boxing Odds: Gennady Golovkin -650 favorite, Ryota Murata +410 underdog.

1825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are these Altcoins worth investing? on: March 24, 2022, 12:46:36 PM
Tron (TRX) is the only coin that I see has the potential while the rest are classified as shitcoins for me (might be the same in the others as well).
Tron has the existing door market records that we can't just set aside which is a thing that we consider upon choosing for investment. I really don't know the others (listed by OP), I'm not going to assume but I have no feeling about these coins.
1826  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Getting more skills in trading on: March 24, 2022, 06:31:32 AM
As you continue to move forward, it's impossible that you won't learn unless you are not really interested in what you are doing. Newbies don't have to literally learn all the notes they will encounter but learning the basics should do. During their progress, other things will be automatically learned on the way.
Experience is the best teacher. The more we do the actual trading, the more chance we become knowledgeable and really improve our skills and mental development ( that it talks about decision-making)

Quote
Like in any other activity we do, as long as we are serious to learn something, we will get used to doing it.

We need to spend time and focus on how to learn trades. No shortcuts.
And I believe this thing...
Everything should be in the process. Learning the basics, Doing actual trading, learning from mistakes, improving skills, and soon...until we reach our goal.

I am betting for them but with +6.5 today against the Miami Heat. I still believe they may end this in a close game but a little doubt to win it.
Over 212.5.

Good luck mate, you are betting on a desperate team, they will find a way to win here and if they could compete with the energy of the Miami Heat, they might win or at least cover the spread if they lose.

Miami lose to 76ers in their previous game, they might bounce back with a win here, but either way, good luck to you.

My pick is Brooklyn winning against Memphis.
It's a road game so I expect Kyrie to be available.
1828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: March 23, 2022, 03:51:35 PM

And this is the thing that Casimero should be grateful for because of the chance that Probellum gave to him instead of easily stripping off the belt to him....
Correction, it's not Probellum who decided not to strip him the belt, it's the WBO.
you can read the whole story here : https://www.ringtv.com/632479-john-riel-casimero-remains-wbo-titleholder-must-face-mandatory-paul-butler/
Quote
John Riel Casimero will get to hold on to the WBO bantamweight title through the holidays.

In a five-page decision, the Puerto Rico-based sanctioning body ruled Thursday that Casimero will not be stripped of his belt after failing to show up for the weigh-in for his mandatory challenge against Paul Butler, which was scheduled for December 11 in Dubai.

Casimero (31-4, 21 knockouts) of Ormoc City, Leyte, Philippines had been hospitalized on December 9, the day before the weigh-in, due to gastritis, with symptoms including vomiting, stomach pain and dehydration.

Casimero’s team, represented by his attorney Steve Pacitti, provided medical documents corroborating their version of events, leading the WBO to grant their request that Casimero not be stripped of the belt he won with a third round knockout of Zolani Tete in November of 2019.

(...)
Should newbies wait or buy coins right now?
That certainly depends on them. But I suggest newbies have to invest right now if ever they want while the prices are still low. I'm not saying we are in the bearish market nor we are on the bullish side but as per to see, the market had already turned green at this time which I believe will be a sign for the upcoming bull market. We're not going to expect more but it looks like we are heading that way closer.
1830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Solana have a future? on: March 23, 2022, 01:17:45 PM
Price drops I think is normal for any coin, it's not a serious threat to a cryptocurrency project.
As long as Solana is still being developed by developers, then there is good potential for Solana's future, regarding the performance of Solana's network I can't doubt it, it could be that the Solana network will become the No.1 network in the future replacing ethereum if the solana project is able to attract the community for their project.
Yes, you are right citing it was a normal market situation but as we talk about in the future, that is something different. We have to see the performance of the project, what happens now or even in the past days will also matter to predict what possibly happens in the future. Unfortunately, Solana doesn't have an impressive performance which makes some investors think negatively about this and even doubtful of its capabilities. Not even to think it surpass ETH, that is impossible.
1831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: wrx token going continue down, why? on: March 22, 2022, 01:44:40 PM
Not only WRX coins majority of the Altcoins drops in the last 6 months time I believe it will bounce back as the WRX exchange is also growing so I expect the value will also increase by the time but in the current time we listen every now and then about the imposing tax on cryptos in India is also one of the reasons for drop it is purely my thinking still I would say WRX has potential to overcome all the hurdles in the future.
Not, likely because it was surprising that a known exchanger will drop. It is a wild guess why it goes like this and might people be right that this was due to the market drop affecting the crypto market in general.

https://zeenews.india.com/photos/business/5-popular-cryptocurrency-exchanges-in-india-2386786/wazirx-2386791

Assuming that this was because of the market drop, however, this can't be taking so long, recovery will show somehow as the market is started to recover.
1832  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading journals worth it? on: March 22, 2022, 10:45:03 AM
Trading Journals should be encouraged for those who are in trading whether you are a newbie or an old-timer. As in this way, we can lessen the possibility to lose and being misguided. This helps instead to reach success.

But a trading journal would every day remind you of the mistakes, especially when you are in a similar market situation which you have encountered before this will become even more effective.
That only happens if they are really motivated to keep everything on a note. This strategy becomes more helpful if we take this as our basis for trading.
Doing this really needs dedication and we don't just take for granted the mistakes and wrongdoings we did or else, this makes no sense.
1833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can we do to speed up Bitcoin mass adoption? on: March 21, 2022, 10:05:23 PM
Well, it is through [awareness].

Well, the situation is awareness can't be enough to justify the usefulness of Bitcoin for us, some people don't really see it, they instead keep their negatives mind playing on them. Education is somewhat we need, teaching blockchain technology and cryptocurrency in school could enlighten their minds and they could really understand it clearly. Social media can't really be trusted, it only creates misconceptions as some influencers did to fool people with their wrong ideas.
1834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The way things are going with new crypto is worrisome on: March 21, 2022, 09:34:37 PM
snip~
it's not even that bad these days,i guess you must be new to the crypto world you should go and watch back the 2017 era shit was wild back then we would hear about an ICO basically everyday.(90% end up exit scamming)

A bunch of regulations were introduced thats why it has kinda cooled down since.
Perhaps many restrictions have been created to minimize the growth of these scam projects but it wasn't enough to fully stop them as these people (scammers) will find a way and really they are? In fact, some of our first impressions got wrong, some it looks promising but in the end, they'll turn scam. We honestly don't rely on these restrictions as somehow there is still a loophole on it, it is really for us to detect scam projects and never invest them especially to pump and dump projects.
1835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 21, 2022, 02:24:58 PM
Denver Nuggets got an unfortunate loss against Boston Celtics in their home game. Celtics were the side being favoured though but I still didn't expect Nuggets to give up early. But they really did. Nuggets' performance in the second quarter was very poor and the quarter score was 16-35 for them. This could be the main reason for this loss by 104-124. Jokic had an impressive effort as always but there is still no other player to accompany him to reach victories. And for Celtics, J. Brown and J. Tatum were really great by scoring 30 points both.
Tatum could deliver that score anytime, it's just that J. Brown gets better and better and that makes the Celtics a better team now. Boston now jumps to number 4 in the East, and if they will maintain that rank, they'll get the home-court advantage in the 1st round. While the Nuggets with that loss, they dropped to number 7, which puts them in danger to play the play-in tournament if they cannot bounce back.
1836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banning Bitcoin is Like Banning the Internet, Says Russia’s Finance Minister on: March 18, 2022, 05:29:29 PM
That says one thing which is banning bitcoin is impossible because it's impossible to ban the internet.

As what we are witnessing now, particularly the war of two countries (Russia and Ukraine), we now see how useful bitcoin is because we can send donations to Ukraine to bitcoin instantly, and that would not be possible through fiat if payment centers are not operating. That's just one thing. If we try to analyze the current scenario, this tells us how a decentralized asset would be so useful when our economy struggles and our government is not functioning.
1837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Comparing the previous bear run of Market on: March 18, 2022, 05:13:45 PM
There's no way we can tell where the current market is going, but we have our own prediction and personally, I don't think we will ever experience the same 2018 bear market, where bitcoin and most altcoins have really dropped significantly.

Let's based on bitcoin only, last 2017 bull run, bitcoin almost hit $20k and it dropped at sub $3k, that's 85% dropped from its ATH, so let's say it will be the same trend, our ATH now is $67k, so if it will dropped by 85%, that means we will be dumping to at least $10k.
1838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: March 18, 2022, 03:18:54 PM
GGG admit that he had sparred Murata in the pass,

Quote
"It did take place but that was a long time ago. It was not the pure sparring approach that he came to spar me. I learned during those sessions that Murata is a very serious fighter with a high boxing IQ," Golovkin said.

https://www.boxingscene.com/golovkin-sparring-i-learned-murata-very-serious-fighter-high-boxing-iq--164844

So he knows what he is up against, a serious fighter in Murata and he would have to travelled to his home town and beat him. So this is a very dangerous fight for GGG.

Oh really, they did that in the past? That's good because even it was just a friendly spar, they could already tell each others capabilities just like how GGG felt about Murata. I only know that Murata was always looking up on GGG and something he said that it's been an honor to get a fight with GGG. Nonetheless, the number still cannot lie and we definitely know that GGG has the advantage even if he's much older now.

At least they know each other and I hope that respect will remain.

GGG knowing how serious Murata is will only make him train harder to prove to the world that his time in boxing is not yet over. As I have read in the article, after this fight, if GGG wins, he will get a chance to have a trilogy with Canelo, so that should be enough already to inspire him to ensure a win.
1839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Hoard Bitcoin? on: March 18, 2022, 02:33:58 PM
If Bitcoin is a better and higher currency than fiat, why then do bitcoiners hurdle it?
I think money is best used for buying and selling not hoarding, we get to see the value more when using it.
This my thoughts, wby?

Not everyone is Hoarding bitcoin, there are still a lot of transactions online happening now. Some are just hoarding it, or we call it "HODL" in crypto dialect because we believe that massive adoption will come in the future, and with the limited supply, the law of demand and supply will play, and that means profit for those who HODL.
1840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: March 18, 2022, 12:26:48 PM
I've been watch most of the game by Casimero and it has a good preparation and gives a good output in every match in that cases he have a previous issue way back to December and i guess his already makes a full recovery with that i guess enough of having almost three months of make a break and now defending his title for this upcoming April if I'm not mistaken lets see if we got another title holder a defending champion.
For sure he is fully recovered, otherwise, they won't announce a fight for him. And yes, it's April as per report, so keep that excitement still because the fight schedule is approaching and we will see Casimero again showing his dominance in the ring.
it's expected that he can show his dominance in the ring because Butler is not going to run like Rigo.
However, we have to remember that Casimero is not fighting in the US, he will be in the home court of the enemy, so that's a big challenge for him although we know that he has been a road warrior ever since.

A huge challenge for fighting on opponents territory since its he might not do a extra curricular activities inside the ring just like what he did on his past opponents since he experience to get harassed by the fans before. But I believe this will never happen at this fight knowing that this will consider as a big match and they will give a respect to both boxers.

Casimero is the champion, the last time he won on the road was against a champion and that was Tete. So, if we based on his part performance, if he was able to beat Tete who apparently beat Butler, this fight should not be hard for Casimero. The only thing that is probably hard for him is getting the right weight during the weigh in night.
