1941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Amir Khan vs Kell Brook - Feb 19, 2022 on: February 11, 2022, 02:35:41 PM
That's right they are still very popular fighters and the show will be very interesting for me too. Now I think that its 50-50 game and who makes the first and bigger mistake he will lose. Especially, I would take into the consideration khan's habit of losing concentration  and Kell's defects in discipline.
Based on the betting odds, it's not 50-50, but it's Kell Brook who is the favorite to win.

Wait, are you gonna put your bet on this fight? you should check the   betting odds.

Best of luck mate, hopefully, you'll choose the winner.
1942  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 11, 2022, 02:00:33 PM
I mean, Casimero still have those speed and strength needed to take down Butler but Casimero's enemy is himself now. Aside from that, IMO Casimero needs a bariatricians or nutritionist to watch him while his training for the fight.

The strength maybe but the speed? I think he is not fast enough, he could not even catch Rigo.  Smiley

I see Casimero successful because of his great timing in the ring, if he maintains his coolness and worth smarter, then for sure he will win the fight, and who knows he can score a knockout that would make people be interested more in him again.

And why would Casimero chase Rigo for his running antics? Lol.
Rigo was surely fast enough but only to outrun Casimero and that's the only thing he can boast because he can't keep up with Casimero if they were to fight very closely, toe-to-toe. He's too obvious that he only wants the money and not to entertain people especially his fans. From that day forth, Rigo was lost his fans from his shameful behaviour.

Casimero just wants to entertain the fans, and that is by beating Rigo convincingly, but it was a disappointment, even he was also disappointed by his performance because he could not initiate his game plan effectively. He also has some good counter but Rigo was playing smart, he was faster and don't like to risk himself trying to go toe to toe.
1943  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Diversifying Your Portfolio in Crypto on: February 11, 2022, 12:35:32 PM
Seriously my own believe is that the only coin that's not a shit coin is bitcoin, any other coins are shit coins but if you are into cryptocurrency I believe you should still diversify your portfolio but make sure the higher percentage of the coin in your wallet is bitcoin, then you can invest in other altcoins because you don't really have to depend on only one coin. Sometimes some coins don't really follow bitcon movements incase if any coin in your wallet those that you can easily take your profit.
Ohh yeah...then it means that ETH and BNB are shitcoins considering that only Bitcoin is legit and not shitcoins? I don't know what you are thinking mate but your wrong. We can't generalize the market as these altcoins, even many of them are worthless, junks, or whatever we call them, still we can find good projects from them. Coz if you are right, then there is no sense to invest in crypto.
If you believe that Bitcoin is the only profitable in coin in the market, that was your presumptions but the majority had think differently from you, we still trust altcoins the same thing we trust Bitcoin.
1944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you make money from meme coins? on: February 11, 2022, 11:58:01 AM
Make money from meme coins of course really depends on the performance of the coin, but I'm happy because I got big profits from King Shiba, Goma and Kuma Inu and became my biggest profit in 2021, when I invested only $80 for the 3 tokens in November it became around $6500 .
That seems you are lucky mate and those who invest earlier but I don't think what happens to those who come late and invest during the hype. I'm not sure as well those who keep their meme coins now and miss the chance of selling last year, that possibly they are in big losses.
Apparently, making a choice of meme coins like Shiba Inu is not bad but just to warn not to consider this for long term as they are not good for it.
1945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Risk in Crypto Assets Portfolio on: February 11, 2022, 10:21:46 AM
The market is volatile and many people now would like to buy some bitcoin in some parts it depends on them if it's good for a long term or a short term investment. Most people hold their assets, especially bitcoin. I'm not a professional trader but I have experience since 2021 and a possible risk most of my assets is the bitcoin dominance we know the potential of the bitcoin when it dumps most of the altcoins have a higher percentage to lose or to lower the value.
Risk is literally can be found in all forms of investment and much more when it comes to trading. I assume that everyone is already aware of that position before entering the crypto world. That is why we need to know how Risk Management applies in real life and importantly we have to know that. And that is why we have to choose those projects that are good for investment either long-term or short-term so we don't need to worry if we miss the opportunity to sell.
1946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 11, 2022, 06:53:55 AM
Correct, but Crawford is still active so maybe in the future he could be a boxing promoter too.
That's so futuristic, let's talk about his journey first as a boxer as I'm sure he still has a lot to offer, if he is willing to accept challenges and get big fights, maybe he will be a hall of famer just like the other great boxers in the sports, he is still young and I'm sure he will have more fights in the future, being an undisputed champion maybe a good one to achieve.
1947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 11, 2022, 06:25:55 AM
Warriors literally let every one down! The first 5 minutes of the game was incredible, and it felt like it was going to be an easy win for them but the narrative change after that and the Warriors had no answer whatsoever.

Yup mate, it was a big let down, I put a decent money on them to win by that handicap but when I check the score in the 3rd it was a blow out already.

Anyhow, let's move forward, I still got them -9.5 against the Piston in their homecourt, so hopefully they will bounce back from that awful lost the Jazz gave them.

That was a huge upset, maybe the Warriors are tired because it's a back to back game? Didn't expect that to happen, I was thinking that they are gonna win by blowout since Thompson has already come back and he can help Curry to dominate the Knicks.

And by the way, Nets could not break their losing streak, they fall on the Wizards.

1949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 10, 2022, 08:12:52 PM
Yeah I hear what you're saying here, but I'm a bit skeptical on if this truly helps the Nets in terms of championship asperations.  Harden may have been having a down year but he's still considered a super star and with him they truly did have a "big 3", now they've got a "big 2" , and Durant is hurt (per usual).  I know Simmons is a solid player but he's no where near the shooter of Harden, so I just feel like when it comes to the playoffs and championship asperation, this hurts.  When those 3 were actually all healthy their win/loss record was very impressive.

I think Kyrie is still only playing in some road games right?  So right now in half their games their best player is Ben Simmons? I certainly see their struggles continuing until Durant is back.  Will be interesting !

This is a crazy deal. The 76ers got Harden and Millsap, while the Nets got Simmons, Curry, Drummond, and two first-round picks. I know that the 76ers really wanted to get Harden, but it seems to me that they gave too much for him. As for Simmons, it's worth noting that he hasn't had a game practice since June, and he scored an average of 14 points per game last season. So I also don't expect that he will be helpful to the Nets.

I guess this is just right, and finally, we will see Simmons be playing again, and he is lucky because he will be playing in a championship team which is the Nets. Big news in the NBA, let's see which team will be successful with their decision, good luck to both.
1950  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't be like me on: February 10, 2022, 02:06:15 PM
Thank you very much to share such a painful personal story, meme coins are more like gambling than investments, if they gain attention they go up and if they don't, one might lose all their funds so, it is never a good idea, and specially when the price is already at peaks because of all attention and fear of missing out, surely there is a downward movement ahead of that. All the more bad to take loans over that for such investments, I hope OP is able to recover his losses and be stable again Smiley
I think OP knows what gonna happen to him after investing these meme coins. He is probably aware of that situation but he likes to invest and wasted his money, and he can neither blame us for reminding him.
That OP is right, "don't be like me". Although we can afford to lose our money, however, it was not the reason why we commit loans, borrow money from others for that sake but we are doing this for a profit and to grow our capital. And we can also pay our debts.
1951  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What coin you like trading future on: February 10, 2022, 01:45:19 PM

What I mean is BTC/USDT or ALTCOIN/USDT.

Considering the volatility of Bitcoin, I'd preferred to this compared to altcoins. But because we can't just rely upon a single trade, having altcoins is also preferable. Most of the time I use to choose coins that are quite active and moving in a zigzag direction as I can easily make a buy/sell option which makes me not feel bored waiting to get fill/refill.
Of course, using stables coins like USDT as for trading pair is a great idea.
1952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most speculative altcoin of the moment on: February 09, 2022, 01:08:24 PM
To reduce the risk when the market is unstable as it is today then we just choose potential altcoins so as not to wait too long in waiting for the price increase, because when bitcoin increases then the potential altcoins must follow the bitcoin get along and this is often seen, then at this time do not choose memekoin because the risk is very large and could be a scamer who wants to find prey, Then we have to be careful.
That gonna be our choice or else, we just lose our money pretty quick. I'm not going to be certain which coins will do the rally first during this uptrend but we can get some assurance if we buy those potential altcoins. I still keep to choice ETH even the fees is huge as this wasn't just it matters a lot especially when we are aiming for long-term investment and higher chance of seeing returns. Well, of course, those on the top 10 are good to consider as well.
1953  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think about Bitcoin? on: February 09, 2022, 12:33:18 PM
I don't think this is the best time to buy bitcoin for the long term. Though there was a recent bounce from support to 32к, I would rather wait for a correction. I agree with those who say that the price is still going to fall. But in the long term we might see 100k.
When exactly?
Do you wait for another correction? We're done already, might it fall again but I think it was not in huge corrections. If you had bought some during its last correction, you'll get in profit now.
But yeah, people have come to their own market speculations but we never know what exactly gonna happen next. That is why we take the option to buy during the dip and sell during bullish. If you have the guts to invest in Bitcoin, I suggest not to wait for another correction as that make you bored on waiting, we are rallying back, right?
1954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the meme coin still worth holding on: February 09, 2022, 11:04:18 AM
Not all coins are worth holding like this majority of the meme coins are worthless to hold in my opinion. I trust only Doge and Shib because they have a huge supporting community and have a good name in the crypto market. I don't believe in hype I am holding these both because of a strong supportive community.
The support is there, I get it, however, I don't think that support is long term because we know that Shib and Doge are meme or joke coins, they have utility and that's the reason why I don't trust them, no hype, no success for this project and there's no way this hype will stay for long.
1955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 09, 2022, 10:42:09 AM

The last news or at least rumors is the Simmons-Harden trade but I hope this will not happen or it will be a disaster for the Nets or at least for both teams.
I like that, Nets don't need 3 scores, Durand and Irving is already enough, it's already like Lebron and Irving back when they are still with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Simons is just like the Dennis Rodman of the Bulls, he just need to be more aggressive and play harder so he can create his own brand.
As far as I know, Steve Nash put down that rumor, but who wouldn't know? Did James Harden requested to be traded or something and tells it to the media? I know that they are losing because of the injury from Durant but I doubt that it will be just the reason to ask for a trade right now. He himself is also injured with his hamstring. But we will have to wait, the trade deadline is just hours from now.

Not sure if. this is logical for the Sixers though, I mean with Joel everything looks good and the team are jelling. Maybe an addition of Harden won't bring any good for the Sixers.

So it's better for Harden to stay with the Nets, and see how it goes for them and hopefully they can make it to the playoffs and have him and Durant healthy and make one more run for the championship.
I watched Stephen A.'s videos an hour ago regarding this and he said that Harden at least this year will stay in the Nets so I think its safe to say that the chances of this trade to happen is very low but who knows. They might surprise us Cheesy.

On the other hand although I think that this will not happen, I think that the Sixers will win the trade if it happens. Just imagine the Embiid and Harden tandem especially now that Embiid is playing his best season though Harden's hamstring injury might be a problem for them. Still, I don't think that this will happen anymore after watching on Youtube.

If Harden and Capela tandem worked before, it will work more with Joel Embiid for sure. Harden's injury could be healed in time, it's not a serious injury IMO, so his value is still high and he will surely be a big help for the 76ers, I'm sure the 76ers would not pass on this deal.
1956  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Bulls Are Coming Back Soon, Are You Ready To Ride? on: February 08, 2022, 02:27:30 PM
Oh well, it looks like that the market is back on track and the bulls were dominating again. However, this is going to be a roller coaster ride. In my opinion, it would likely consolidate between $42k to $44k before we can see either a potential breakout or another setback in which the price is heavily influenced by the media whether if it’s bullish or bearish.

I didn’t sell my ETH and other altcoins that I am bullish on, but I just failed to buy more BTC during the dip. How stupid of me lol.
Bullish comes after the bear market and this always happened but somehow, some people never think about it during correction which causes them to lose the opportunity to buy coins at a cheaper price.
Well, for me, I guess I was ready enough and had stuck a few coins in preparation for the upcoming Bullrun. lol

Anyways, we can't be sure if we got into the bullish again like last year but at least, we did right what it suppose to be before that.
1957  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Overthink Potential of Bitcoin on: February 08, 2022, 01:46:40 PM

In general at the end of the day someone has to be in charge. It is impossible and not feasible to let the people lead themselves. Too many ideas and different thoughts conflict with one another. That would cause a clash of conflict to happen. Some people want order and others can believe everything should be a "Free for all"
Going free for all does not work, to function without any rules or order is not good thing. At same time running with too many rules and order not good thing as well.

Then let the government manage their own and we have to manage our Bitcoin as well.
taxation, regulations, imposing strict rules...the government could obviously make as they have the power but we have to understand as well that not all of the things around can be controlled, not with Bitcoin. What I can say is that the government is full of greed and they don't let people enjoy their freedom but instead, they will curse us and make us follow them.
1958  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC Dip on: February 07, 2022, 01:51:32 PM
Has anyone ever thought that Vitalik Buterin's billions of dollars on shiba inu coins are air? Most people who consider themselves super millionaires have air today. Try to monetize. All at the same time. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=428589.msg59172813#msg59172813
All bitcoins and ethers will turn to dust soon. Even in our lifetime.
The inertia of transferring funds to other assets will last a long time. 5 years old
Bitcoin is a museum piece. It won't burst. Dust particles will always be blown away from it. But. it is dead as a technology.
I don't know and I don't believe such unreliable news or wherever you heard that one. Does Vitalik say that? Maybe Shiba Inu will turn dust in the air but I don't that will happen to Bitcoin and it is simply because it has a market value and role to play, unlike Shiba who did nothing but just a meme coin. Many had not even made themselves clear about Bitcoin but all in their mind is a piece of negative picture.

people still have the money and can still provide for themselves. They will find a way to survive or else, they will die hungry. But I'd never think this gonna happen as even the crisis will continue, price inflation, people will accept it and work normally.
To face this sad reality is the only way to survive, nothing else. It is a need for us to maximize our time and use our knowledge as a tool to generate income. if we can do this, it certainly have nothing to worry about.

It depends on the project itself, the supply is just a number if the project has no potential.

Check the team and the developers, if they are trustworthy and capable of developing the project, then most likely your dream will come into reality. But honestly, I never heard about this project so I have some doubt if it's legit or has a good potential.
