281  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good news= up in price while bad news = down in price. on: March 06, 2024, 03:09:19 PM
when there is good news, bitcoin value goes up and when thier is bad news it value comes down.
It does not necessary to be always like this.

Sometimes people will interpret good things from news as bad ones especially in a bear market. Good news in a bear market can not create any positive effect on price at all.

Oppositely, in a bull market, bad news sometimes will be ignored and has no negative effects or very little negative effects on price.

Generally, in bull market, good news will be amplify a lot and in bear market bad news will be amplify a lot as well.
282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Spot ETF Tracker on: March 06, 2024, 02:56:43 PM
After 37 days, those Bitcoin Spot ETFs bough 375k BTC and soon will hit 400k BTC, maybe tomorrow. They bought many bitcoins from small investors who wanted to take profit around 2021 All time high.

BlackRock just has its highest purchasing day, on day #37 of trading, with 12,623 BTC bought on this day.

Imagine what will happen if they continue with this purchasing rate or even higher, after Bitcoin block subsidy halves in April?

One note, with real trading data, some Bitcoin Spot ETFs look weak and it will be hard for them to maintain operations after some months or after this bull market.

283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: March 05, 2024, 03:01:06 PM
Leverkusen is expected to be one of the teams that can win the Europa League trophy this season, Xabi Alonso squad is now getting a lot of support from various circles. Thanks to the cool hands of Xabi Alonso, Leverkusen was transformed into a team challenging for the title in the Europa League, their unbeaten record puts them on par with Liverpool. In terms of momentum, this is the best season for Leverkusen, the Europa League trophy is the perfect complement to this season, Where the Bundesliga trophy and the DFB Pokal trophy are very close to them in this moment.
Xabi is doing his management impressive with Leverkusen and he is going to complete this season with Bundesliga title that is on their hands. Another title they can get is Europa League and last season they went to a semi final round already.

If Xabi can win one or two titles with Leverkusen, he will make bigger impression and might receive good offers from big clubs in Europe includes Liverpool.

Now no one doubts De Rossi anymore after the evidence that has been shown so far.
At the beginning of his arrival to replace Jose Mourinho, De Rossi was quite doubtful because De Rossi did not have sufficient experience, but so far he has been able to silence the mouths of those who doubted him.
De Rossi looks similarly to Xabi Alonso last season and there was doubt on Xabi's ability even last season, he helped Leverkusen played very well in second half of season. De Rossi will need one more season to prove his management ability and he can take Xabi Alonso as a big lesson.

Against Brighton it will certainly be fierce but Roma has a very large percentage of being able to qualify for the next round. In terms of strength, the two teams are not much different but Roma have a better mentality on the European stage than Brighton and this is what makes Roma a little favorite in my opinion. .
After seeing the progress of Roma's increasing performance, I have no hesitation in betting on their victory.
AS Roma have more seasons participating in Europe competitions and Brighton can not compare with Roma on that. Player quality tends to skew on AS Roma and a stronger team is Roma. Their task is to turn the advantage on paper to good results on field in next two matches between Roma and Brighton. I don't have much belief in Brighton that they will beat Roma in one, two or in an aggregated result.
284  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crashgambler.io - Your Ultimate Crash Gambling Guide - Tournaments & Reviews on: March 05, 2024, 02:50:11 PM
I think it's a little bit shameful when we talk about crash casinos and don't list moneypot, bustadice and bustabit there, the original creators of the crash games.
I didn't know about it but your information is interesting and I tried to search for learning about history of crash games and I can confirm that your information is correct.

Quote
  • The rise of crash gambling began in the mid-2010s with pioneers MoneyPot and Bustabit, who laid the foundation for this new genre.
  • In July 2014, Eric Springer introduced the game MoneyPot, with several hundred BTCs already going through its interface.

2014 – MoneyPot Pioneers the Crash Concept

The original crash game went by the name MoneyPot and had its own website. It was the brainchild of Eric Springer, a Canadian developer and Bitcoin enthusiast living in Mexico at the time. So it’s Springer who holds the honor of having made this contribution to casino history.
285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Every time a new Bitcoin Block is found, US prints $69 million!!! on: March 05, 2024, 02:37:17 PM
Printing is a favorite habit of central banks in all countries, they don't stop printing money.

About the USA, I am not surprised as their debt increase a lot since the pandemic.
See US debt clock. The debt number is $34,485,020,xxx,xxx and it is even bigger then total debt of China and Japan, at the second and third positions.

We can check Bitcoin Spot ETFs' service fees with links in OP but I just saw a summary table for it. It is helpful to summarize the fee war among Bitcoin Spot ETFs.
source.
  • Grayscale is the outlier with most expensive fee. They are losing customers.
  • BlackRock and Fidelity are in a most cheapest fee range and they are winners now. We have to know that they already are big ETF management entities and have good reputation before joining Bitcoin market.
  • Other Bitcoin Spot ETFs can have same cheap fees like BlackRock and Fidelity or even cheaper but it is impossible for them to compete against these two.

Ecoinometrics gives similar information in their newsletter.
Whales are setting up the game but will you join their party and take advantage of it or you just react like other small fishes and waste this free opportunity. You decide.

Yeah the normal retail crowd that FOMO's into bull markets hasn't even started coming in yet.
Distribution phase will start when the retail crowd begin to FOMO and FOMO for a while.

Psychology of market cycles.

Optimism, Belief, Thrill, Euphoria are all phases we need to go through before the distribution phase of whales will be kicked off.

They probably won't get excited about Bitcoin again until like this summer once it gets all over the media that Bitcoin has passed its 2021 high and is surging higher. That's what gets those people excited enough to throw their money into something they don't understand haha. The feeling of "omg people are making so much money I gotta jump in right now!"
They will join as fresh newbies or rejoin after leaving 2 or 3 years. For newbies they will be tested by the market during the bull run with corrections and in a next bear market. As natural reactions of human, very few newbies will stay in this market after tested by tough months.

• Use only non custodian wallets for cold storage
Choose open source wallets too. Non custodian wallets are not enough as another factor is open source.

Here's a thread that can help with that.

I'm not very rich as well, but I can afford to lose $2k in a day before taking a break for a few days. And the short break helps me to not lose big amount in consecutive days (if I'm unlucky). I won't be able to afford the lose of $2k every single day of a year.
It is a type of responsible gambling and you control your bets well enough to be addictive.

But still accepted to lose $2,000 for bets in a day and can come back to bet with risk to lose more $2,000, in my opinion, you still have deep budget for gambling. I am not kind of gambling enthusiast and not an expert in this field but my belief is it's so hard to maintain break-even with betting.

Gamblers with expertise in gambling can maintain break even and even get profit from bets but it's not me.

We’re not in the peak bull period until Grandma & Uncle Bob start calling & asking how to buy Bitcoin. All jokes aside we’re not even at the halving yet, the peak bull run won’t be until next year. The bull has some way to run yet so sit in & get ready to watch the greatest show on earth. We have Spot ETF demand now, the run to Bitcoin will be like nothing we’ve ever seen.
Grandma & Uncle Bob and our friends who suddenly knock our doors to ask our advice about Bitcoin or help them to invest in Bitcoin, it will be time for thinking of peak. These hype activities will be reflected on Google Trend, Youtube Subscribers, Views even we know there are bias factors on those parameters, they are still helpful.

We've not even had the halving yet, so no one should be thinking they have missed a party that hasn't even started.
Halving is about 48 days 17 hours from now.

It's easy to not see how high we can go from here, over $100k would seem ridiculous to most and close to $200k would be impossible. This would cause people to put an imaginary price ceiling and then rue the missed chance to get bitcoins while they were cheaper.
No one can predict it but let's take this chance to see historic growth of past cycles. The latest cycle gives us 16x from Low to High and we are already 4x from Low to High in this cycle.

16x like the past cycle is too much so I humbly expect for 8x for this cycle. So we might end up with $120,000 but I don't exclude any chance that Bitcoin will make a bigger than 8x.

VAMOSSSSS 🔴

What a team we have, they never give up. Decimated by injuries the last month but still finding ways to win..

A winner in the 99th minute Cheesy

Dare I say it, the sign of champions?
It is one of signs of champions but they must maintain it. Liverpool are actually more experienced than Arsenal and Klopp is more experienced than Arteta but the lesson from Arsenal last season is worthy for Liverpool to look at.

They must avoid falling into such match as they will not be able to win at a very last minute match by match.

I was a little different this week as an easy bet I made almost led to a loss.
Nunez's late goal to give Liverpool 3 points saved me from my multi Smiley I was pretty sure Liverpool could win easily but Nottingham exceeded my expectations in today's match.
Good job done by McAllister and Nunez. They made a great combination and brought three points to home for Liverpool that are so meaningful for them in the Premier League competition.

Manchester City and Arsenal nearly believed that they will have a chance to take over a first position but then they all were upset with this goal.
293  Economy / Speculation / We are still early in this bull run. Retails have yet come back massively! on: March 03, 2024, 10:59:32 AM

Institutional investors are whales who are game makers and manipulators but Bitcoin market hits its all time high with very last forces from retail investors. Bitcoin is up more than 44% last month (February) and makes many people feel like they missed the party.

Fact is, it is still early. See some metrics above like
  • Google Trend
  • Youtube Subscribers
  • Youtube Views

Like Youtube or not, we can not deny fact that it is one of most favorite homes of retail investors, newbies in Bitcoin market. It is where they get most exposure and information, to hype themselves in Bitcoin market.

Three charts above show that we are far from peak hype of the past bull market.

Also, let's check
294  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaWin.com | The First WEB3 Casino on: March 03, 2024, 10:21:56 AM
Metawin seems to be a very popular casino, I couldn't imagine a newcomer casino having up to 200k follower on Twitter, that's a huge number.
Their X/ Twitter account is actively with promotion like Sweepstakes. Follow them and stay tuned for new promotion announcements from them.
https://x.com/Meta_Winners

Their landing page at Activity area shows that Meta Winners are very actively with betting.

I am just glad that they came here and I think that it was a very good decision because there would be many people who didn't know about Metawin before they came to bitcointalk.
Bitcointalk adds a huge value to every casino, the backlinks that they get from signature campaign participants help them to rank higher in search engines and it has also been proven many times that this community helps trustworthy casinos to grow bigger.
Bitcointalk is a legendary website for Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies as well as cryptocurrency-accepted casinos. Altcoins can have their own forums but cryptocurrency-accepted currencies probably have only Bitcointalk as a best forum to advertise their business.

It's good for Metawin to join Bitcointalk and run advertisement here as they surely picked a right place for this marketing activity.

Missing like Coinpal exchange?

A video on how to purchase Bitcoin on Coinpal.

History of CoinPal exchange that lasted very shortly for only four months.
Quote
CoinPal was an exchange that accepted PayPal for relatively small order sizes and a weekly limit on purchases.

The site was first publicly available on December 31, 2010[1]. On January 14th, 2010 CoinPal introduced an API that allows merchants and others seeking payment to use the service to accept micro-payments[2]. The operator of the site also operates CoinCard for selling bitcoins.

On April 30th PayPal froze the exchange operator's PayPal account and the exchange announced that service had ended[3].
296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Spot ETF Tracker on: March 02, 2024, 10:08:45 PM
as from the start of january there has been alot more coin purchases from otc/exchange  rather then grayscale exits to then enter other ETF's

compared to ETF prelaunch .. just Grayscale's 620k holding..
total ETF of all ETF holding is as of last report at ~815k

so 195k extra btc is locked into ETF in last near 8 weeks
If this rate of accumulation continues, BlackRock and Fidelity will take over a first position from Grayscale soon. [1]

Now Grayscale has 428,544 BTC and the numbers for BlackRock and Fidelity are 161,226 and 104,128 BTC respectively. These new Bitcoin Spot ETFs only have a little bit more than one month of trading and still have a lot of time to take over a first position from Grayscale.

[1] https://bitcointreasuries.net/

We have another Green week from US. Bitcoin Spot ETFs with totally 30,041 BTC added.

I appreciate your response too but maybe they have machanism to cope with bots and service abuse? Don't get me wrong, you have 6+ years of experience as a faucet owner but if I recall correctly, freebitco is the first faucet out there or at least one of the most experienced one.
If I am not missing any update, Freebitco.in still has their faucet lively runs. Their faucet is one of the oldest faucets and it's good to see they are running it till 2024.

Can't talk much about delayed withdrawals, I have no idea.
If at the end, withdrawals are approved and proceeded, it's good but it is actually inconvenient for users. If it can be done more quickly, it will be more comfortable experience for users. It's obviously that we must know about reasons behind withdrawal pending time, like their internal procedure before approving it.

I don't know what to say, if their current business model wasn't profitable, they wouldn't run signature campaign and wouldn't keep website the way it is right now. They have enough money and probaly enough staff (or will hire if they want) to make significant changes.
It's a point as they have a long signature campaign that began in March 2020 and so far it has been running nearly 4 years.
298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Spot ETF Tracker on: March 01, 2024, 02:16:45 PM
Damn...anyone else noticed so far this week (thru wednesday) ETFs have had inflows of what looks like over half a billion dollars every day!

~9400 BTC, then ~10,100 BTC, then ~11,200 BTC. Going by the approximate bitcoin price each day that was ~$500 million, ~$580 million, ~$680 million. Give or take a few tens of millions. Totally bonkers numbers.
The new capital is big and Bitcoin Spot ETFs are nearly half of Gold ETFs, just after a little bit more than 1 month of trading. Gold ETFs need 20 years, since 2004 to get only 2 times of Bitcoin Spot ETFs.

and it shows todays btc is near yesterdays "USD CASH" number

im not saying its exact.. but i seen a pattern that when they only buy say 2500btc.. the previous days "USD cash" was only ~2500(2400-2600) above the BTC holding amount of that day

i feel they are subtly hinting that days prediction of how many coins they want to buy for the next day. (but obviously cant be accurate due to swinging prices of the days trade)
It is a good hint as they must have cash to buy bitcoins. We will test this hint more in coming days of it continues, you discovered a good indicator but I guess it won't be true for all days because they don't need to use all cash they have to buy bitcoins.

It can be right for 1 day, 2 days or more but not for 100% of days.
299  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: March 01, 2024, 01:56:37 PM
No, the token was not listed on Binance.
Available exchanges for the token

I think @tranthidung is just explaining what people think about everyone's hope that RLB is listed on the CEX exchange on binance which will probably make the price increase rapidly, but that doesn't mean that RLB is already listed on Binance, no need to be too serious @tranthidung just saying what is in his mind, we all know that RLB is only listed on the Dex exchange where we have not seen it listed on CEX, the point is whether it is registered or not on Cex as long as traders and investors still believe in RLB, of course RLB will have its own value in the future .
The token value comes from many factors: use cases, utilities and support of the team. We all have those with Rollbit casino and the RLB token. Centralized exchanges, Tier-1 exchanges like Binance are like tip of iceberg to make investors feel more FOMO. It is not most important factor to create intrinsic value of a token.
300  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: February 29, 2024, 03:46:25 PM
Don't expect about it since for sure the focus of people are more into bitcoins that's why there are some left behind that's why maybe RLB and some of alts left behind. But its not actually bad occurrence for RLB since we see how it pump when bitcoin is in bad shape that's why later on once we see bitcoin hype subside a little bit maybe we can see the attention of RLB investor will go back again and start to accumulate waiting for some good movements to happen.
Altcoins can have a lag behind Bitcoin when Bitcoin skyrockets. Past cycles show that altcoins will have their bull runs like some weeks, one month after a Bitcoin bull run. It is same for Bitcoin ATH and altcoins' ATHs.

This 2024 and 2025 bull run of cryptocurrency market is only at its beginning and we still yet to see Bitcoin and Ethereum break their all time highs. FOMO in this market is not high enough and best is still ahead of us.

$RLB is one of best GambleFi tokens and if you are interested in it, put it into your radar, you have to load it up, before it is late.
