^I was confused too.  Grin

Anyway, I will ride Jating's pick with Atlanta Hawks -7.5 versus the Orlando Magic. They may want to bounce back after losing against the Houston Rockets and they had their 1-day rest so it's a high percentage.

Good win for us, Atlanta Hawks did bounce tonight with a huge win and covered our bet with so much to spare.

Speaking of the Rockets, how about being the hard underdog against the Cavaliers? Wow, Cavaliers is suddenly that strong team after winning a lot of games and taking the 4th spot in the East. I think Rockets can still cover a +9.5 so I'll go with that.

Rockets though was defeated by the Cavs, and who wouldn't have thought that Cavs will now be in the contention in the East at 4th spot with 5 game winning streak?

And then Hornets, with Hayward big game winning against the Spurs, I would say there are some upsets tonight.
2802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 15, 2021, 02:11:34 PM
My early pick.

Game: Dallas vs Lakers.

Everyone knows that Lakers' inconsistency continues to show up in random games. In this game, I think the Mavericks with great chemistry will be the "powerhouse team". Therefore, I'm taking the home team with my bet, Mavericks -2.

Bro, I agree with you, we know that the Lakers have an inconsistent team, but you must remember that Luka Doncic is injured, Luka is very important for the team.
Your bet will most likely win.

THT has entered the health and safety protocols and AD is questionable in this game.

So it will be interesting game to watch, and the Mavs still has KP so this will be very close and they also have the advantage of playing home.

I think Atlanta will bounce back as they have lost their last game after leading, so ATL -7.5
2803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: December 15, 2021, 12:25:53 PM
^^ If this fight is not going to happen or will be cancelled, then GGG has a lot of options.

I like more of the Charlo fight, this is will be a big challenge for the ageing GGG against a prime Charlo who I know has been calling him as well. So of all the other champions, for me Charlo is the biggest fight challenge and purse wise for GGG. So maybe he can forget about Murata for now and look for other choices.
2804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 15, 2021, 11:50:10 AM
Brooklyn Nets keep winning but there is a problem that they have now also. KD continues to carry the team for now, okay. But Harden has got covid-19 and he is not expected to play until December 23. And it is not clear whether he will be able to play right after this date. This means that he is going to miss at least 4 games. As Kyrie Irving is still insisting on not taking the jab, KD will be alone in this time period considering the trio.

This is their schedule for the next 4 games:

against Sixers, Magic, Nuggets and Wizards. So still doable for the Nets to win even without Harden in the lineup and it will be mostly Durant to carry the team. Patty Mills though is a good catch this season for them, not saying that he is going to replace Kyrie, he is not. But Patty is providing good numbers as point guard and I think Claxton first game to score double digit. Last season, he had a good year, but with the acquisition of LA, Claxton time has been limited. But now he got the minutes and played very well to help the Nets win over Toronto.
2805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Warning regarding Luckywins on: December 15, 2021, 11:06:30 AM
This information seems a bit strange to me. I don't know exactly the law in Gibraltar, but it seems to me that if any company presented the government false documents allowing it to operate, it wouldn't just get a warning. Such a company would be closed immediately in every country.

The thing is that they operate online, so it's hard to closed them down because you don't know where the operator or even the servers actually resides physically.

And that's why they are issuing this kind of warnings to everyone not to fall for this Luckywins casino because there is a chance that they people behind are fraudsters because of the fake license and fake bonus offerings.
2806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: December 15, 2021, 10:38:21 AM
So even though this is seen as a big break by the top tennis players and all the
top tennis tournaments are over until next year there are still a lot of Challenger
type tournaments running.

I'm just wondering are you all continuing to place bets on tennis with virtually
unknown players?

Perhaps I will look on a per tournament, because I'm seeing that some players really play good on a certain tournaments and upsets a lot of top players en route to the finals. And this is what I'm looking at, those upsets and giant killers because we all know how the odds are going to be, it will be very good for us bettors.

Or we may see some break out players too, very consistent or at least 4-5 tournaments making the QF at least and giving us high quality tennis to watch.
2807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright owes a cool $100 million on: December 13, 2021, 06:43:53 AM
time to sell some bitcoin. or not. what would you guys do if you owed that much money??

I guess nothing though, I mean did he really need that huge amount of money and sell his bitcoins?

And why would you sell when the price is going down? We have reach almost $70k ATH and now the price is around $40k. If you will have to sell then wait around $60k-$70k or even a new ATH?

So it doesn't make sense, all we have to do is HODL and buy cheap bitcoins.
2808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Ioka Dec 31 on: December 13, 2021, 05:01:06 AM
Just watched the highlights of Ancajas vs Jamie Conlan and that body shots was really wicked.

Maybe this will be his strategy against Ioka, his body shots because it will really slow down any of his opponents once he landed this one.

Unfortunately though, we will have to wait for this fight. But after watching Ancajas vs Conlan, I'm more leaning towards the Filipino here.

Filipino Flash Nonito Donaire bet his fellow compatriot with a body shot. And if Ancajas has that in his arsenal then he should utilized is as the Japanese might be weak in that area.

And we've seen a lot of good boxers really good down with a good body shot so no surprised if Ancajas are going to throw a lot just like in the Conlan fight because it can really show down anyone. But it should be perfect as he is going to be open for a counter right which Ioka has some power in that hand.
2809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 13, 2021, 04:21:01 AM
The Lakers and Blazers are struggling on the teams that are not even championship contenders, looks like they were dragged too low with their current playing condition this season and let others get their spot in the playoffs. They should have easily managed to stretch their lead but they're the one's are struggling right now and if the Lakers will lose this one too, that would hit them hard because the fans will toss them again just like when they lost the game vs the Memphis.

I agree, specially with Portland, although they have been hit by multiple injuries first with Dame and now with CJ and there has been rumours as well of a CJ-Ben Simmons trade. So they are struggling at home with a tough Wolves but I think they can still pull this one off, score is tied 104-104. They lead as much as 5 points but that eaten out by the Wolves in the last 2 minutes. So let's see how the game will turn out to be in the last 3 minutes.
2810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top Cryptocurrencies to invest in 2022 on: December 12, 2021, 12:37:17 PM
I disagree with Dash selection though, or even Ripple and Litecoin.

I mean those coins are solid yes I agree, but they have been in the cryptosphere for so long that they didn't enjoy the support or consensus of investors.

So for me they are not good investment in 2022 and would rather choose other coins, just saying.
2811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian Prime Minister Promoting Bitcoins Giveaway on: December 12, 2021, 11:31:53 AM
The official Twitter account of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was hacked in order for the hackers to scam people.

How come his twitter account get hacks and that too for the 2nd time ?
The prime minister twitter account should have the highest possible security and password  standards. This is something which should not be ignored.

Any idea who hacked the account  Huh

Just like you and me, any twitter account is vulnerable to such attacks.

Hackers are everywhere, maybe they are really targeting certain high profile individuals or it could be that someone is colluding itself twitter or maybe twitter itself was compromised, or maybe poor security practice on whoever handles the PM account. There's a lot of reasons really and it's hard to pinpoint the exact one.

Hopefully though no one falls for this fake and scam bitcoin giveaways.
2812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 12, 2021, 10:56:18 AM
^^ I agree, those 2 blocks are very important as it has set the tone of the game. And he completely pestered Curry all throughout the game and I would say that somewhat it has affected Steph and maybe we might found the Steph Curry stopper.

For tomorrow's games, Pistons vs Nets, I will bet on +9.5 Pistons, Harden will sit it out. And if ever the Nets will win, might be below that handicap.
2813  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Ilunga Makabu on: December 12, 2021, 09:51:08 AM
If Canelo is successful in Cruiserweight then he might stay there for a while, but yeah, him moving to Heavies? not gonna happen.

We aren't sure about that. Once a boxer is undisputed in every weight class, he is qualified for the next level. Their body is now switching to adopt a much heavy challenge as the training becomes more intense too. Canelo can move up a bit higher than Light Heavyweight if that's the goal but not a priority.

As of now, Canelo wants to destroy every fighter on the way regardless of their status. If where he will end up, we don't know.

He said he will go to 180 lbs in this fight so that is about Light Heavyweight limit.

And his body has adopted to his weight already so there's no problem about it. It's just a question on how Canelo can take a punch for a legit Cruiserweight, we know he has a good chin, but I do believed that everyone has a limit so we will see in this fight. If his chin has no problems with much bigger guys then good for him and maybe he will be in this division for good.

And maybe that's what Canelo fighting weight when he moves to LHW against Kovalev or maybe that's what he carries when he is not fighting. So no more adjustments for him, but yes you are right about his world class chin, it will be very well tested.

But Canelo knows this so he will play defense and tuck in his chin and this CW tends to be slower because they are bigger and weight more than 200 lbs fight night. So Canelo is still has the advantage because he will still be faster I reckon even if he moves up in weight.
2814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Commey - December 11 on: December 12, 2021, 09:19:39 AM
Lost my bet here, as I have said, 8.5 and below rounds or a knock out win by Loma which almost happened. Commey was in queer street, Lol, and the referee should stop that fight and Commey is not fighting back. But we are right that Loma's technical ability will float in this one and this what really happens.

But in any case, congrats to those who bet on the decision win for Loma.

Maybe we can really see Kambosos vs Loma next.

If Lomachenko has more power on the short left hook he throws in round 7, maybe Commey  can't get out of the canvass. But it's obvious that Lopez has more power, nevertheless you have to appreciate how Lomachenko beat Commey by his boxing skills and that's why we call boxing sweet science.

Yes, Kambosos should fight Lomachenko next, give him his shot because that's what he deserves. Whether in Australia in the US, because as others said, this is more interesting.
2815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: December 12, 2021, 08:59:41 AM

Nonito Donaire didn't show any signs of slowing down and got a KnockOut win against Reymart Gaballo in just a 4th round to retain his WBC title. Only Carabao are aging lol. A body shot by Donaire sent Gaballo kneeling in pain. The latter now suffers his first loss on his clean record.

https://twitter.com/ESPNRingside/status/1469919411012349956

After that win, lots of tweets hoping for a Donaire having a rematch against Naoya Inoue.

That win indeed will put Donaire in a Inoue talk again.
He once again prove that he still have enough left in his tank. A very destructive left hand body shot that partially lifted Gaballo's feet off the ground at age 39 is really impressive.

Correct, it seems that Donaire has been rejuvenated at 39 years old and can still win impressively against the young Gaballo. Reymart was really trying to hold his ground, but Donaire was too much, as Nonito is dominant in this win.

Filipino fans only has one thing to say for Gaballo maybe including Donaire when he talked to him after the knockout, they only wish Gaballo to come stronger.

Nothing to be ashamed of Gaballo's performance, maybe he just needs more time and more experience. Clearly they are on the different level and hopefully Gaballo be given another crack in the future for the belt.
2816  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin resistance and support price on: December 11, 2021, 11:12:24 PM
The price of Bitcoin is still very difficult to predict right now, because it turned out after it managed to touch the price of $51k a few days ago.
Bitcoin is currently still dropping below $50k, so there's still a chance the price will drop even further. I agree with you, we have to be patient and enjoy the ride, because it's a way to keep us thinking positive. If we panic seeing the current situation, it only makes us decide to sell the Bitcoin we have at a loss. At least we still have to monitor Bitcoin price movements for the next week, to analyze where Bitcoin will move.
So there's not much we can do in a situation like now, we can only be patient holding the Bitcoins we have.
It is not "that" much under 50k, people act as if we reached 45k already or even getting closer to 40k but the reality is that we only dropped a slightly under 50k, which means it is not doing that bad at all if you ask me and will do a lot better in the long run as well. Why? Because whenever the price falls down, there are those who accumulate, whenever it is accumulated that means it can't keep going down even more, so there is always a bottom and when that is reached the price starts to go up a lot.

I believe that we already tested that, and since we managed to go higher that means we are doing fine right now, it should not be all that difficult to see it going up soon.

I also hope Bitcoin doesn't drop to $45k or even close to $40k, because if that happens there will be a panic sell. Hopefully now more and
more people are buying Bitcoin, so the Bitcoin price can go up again. But I did not expect the price of Bitcoin to still struggle to recover
in the middle of December. Even now the price of Bitcoin is still at $48k, and there is no sign of Bitcoin going up in the near future.
Everything will be fine as long as we don't panic and can think positively, I still really hope that near the end of this year the price of Bitcoin
does not fall any further.

Currently, the support around $48k is strong, so we may be good for now or up to this weekend at least.

We have a good run to $50k but it was not sustained and obviously, sell-off happens to bring the price down again.

Maybe we could see some good signs this coming Monday that we can still go past $50k at least before the end of the year. Usually December is very bullish and I do think positively that we can make it more exciting in the last 2-3 weeks before we closes this year.
2817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 3billion casino with a crypto trading floor. on: December 11, 2021, 10:33:18 PM
I don't think that this is necessarily anything exciting.

It's just a crypto exchange with a casino business, and that is about it. It's two separate businesses.

I honestly don't even think that this will pan out well. It's two completely unrelated entities trying to mesh together - the pro traders wouldn't engage with this trading floor because of the casino affiliations, whereas the hardcore gamblers would rather go to the strip.

For us who have been into crypto for so long, maybe it will not excite us.

But for sure their target is those beginners coming into cryptos - traders and the typical gamblers so I think this is still a win-win situation for us crypto enthusiast and for the entity itself because it's going to bring big money, and hopefully it will have a net effect on the market itself. And maybe season traders and gamblers will also try this combo for all we know.
2818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Ioka Dec 31 on: December 11, 2021, 10:07:03 PM
That’s the consequences they have to face on postponing this match and that’s fine for the defending champion because he can have more time to prepare and have a good trainings to defend his title and stay longer with it. We know that Japan is too strict with this, not unless they do this match on other country with a lesser restriction, this might push through early next year.
They can’t just change the venue easily, it will cost them huge money as well and beside Ioka is a Japanese so this might be the reason why they choose that location. Let’s deal with this since they already postponed the match and what to do next is to stay fit and active, stay focus and never get distracted by this delay. Ancajas has the advantage on this since he can still have more time to train because he is defending a huge title on his belt.

It's probably the same place in Japan next year, as you have said, the organizers have shelter out huge money already so they might as well just wait when the government gives them the clearance to stage the fight. Thus no need to venue change, all the fighters should do is just focus and continue their training and wait for the call from the promoters and organizers if they are good to go. More time more training so take advantage of it.
2819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slot Machine Strategy? on: December 11, 2021, 09:41:31 PM
There's no real strategy with the slot machine only people makes this because they think it might an effective thing for them. for example people. the day there's a pattern you need to play like touching 5 times the button before making a pull to win the game. It's all about the people's experience that already passes to other people because it's effective to them so they expect why not to them too. It's all about the luck of the olayer and the programmable outcome of the slot game.

That's borderline superstitious already. But just like the majority said here, slots are based on luck and there are no perfect strategy. You either are very luck and win big when you play or unlucky (most of the times) and lose all your money in just like 100 or 1000 spins.

And that is the main reason why I stay away from slots because of the risk and the chances of you to win are very slim. Much better to do sports betting in my opinion, but that's another topic.
2820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Learn to laugh even if Bitcoin is crashing on: December 11, 2021, 09:15:42 PM
the best thing is, crypto user always calm than newcomer or rich + newcomer.
Calm and laugh, it's actually a good point whenever the market has been dropping like a bomb and many can't take to watch how those reds and lines are going down.

But for someone experienced and who have been seeing the rise and fall of the market, it's just a normal thing to witness. Personally, I have remembered those people that made fun of me years ago when I've mentioned bitcoin and talked to them about how I started.

Well, no heavy feelings now. Just enjoying what I'm seeing in bitcoin together with everyone who has it.

Actually you can't do anything when the price is falling hard. And you should be mentally tough to face the music, that is part of the market as well.

Well you can laugh and then strategized your next move and think happen, play a lot of scenario in your mind and what you are going to do so at least you will be prepared and then you can laugh more.  Grin
