2961  Other / Archival / Re: Again nobody needs DEXs? on: October 26, 2020, 09:45:49 PM
Nobody "needs" dex's, they are totally useless in the sense that you do not need them to stay alive for example, they are not water and they are not bread, but that is not how you approach to any new invention. Everything that is created creates its own need as well, hence why I believe it is quite important that we give the space dex deserves to dex in order for it to prosper and be its own thing, however I believe it is not going to be anything substantial and won't grow to be too big.

I understand that it is hyped right now and people are using it and there is billions of dollars involved but that is something that won't be too long and until it is few months or even a year we won't know how long this will go on. At the end of the day only time will tell how much dex's are "needed" by the people that uses it.
2962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you invested for Attractive projects?? on: October 26, 2020, 09:08:13 PM
Just because it looks pretty doesn't mean that it will be pretty, it is not about how it looks from the outside, it all depends on how it makes you feel from inside, that is why I do not really believe that people should be getting involved without really knowing more about the teams than the actual written contracts.

You look at a project and it looks amazing but you get into telegram or discord or whatever they are using and you meet with first smaller staff, like mods of telegram channel or similar things and in the end that ends up with people seeing that project not being great if that staff is not doing a good job, or even if they end up doing decent then there is the deal with higher ups having to explain and network very well, I would say look at the team before anything else.
2963  Economy / Economics / Re: Crisis will be new normal but its not bad on: October 26, 2020, 08:17:38 PM
There are literally hundreds of thousands of people dead, literally over a million people died from covid so far, and yet when you look outside people are still going about their day like nothing is happening. That scares me a lot, I have begged and pleaded with everyone I know to stay at home and I said I really want to stay at home as well but the world wasn't ready for people to stay at home for one year, which is why we are out again and that is why I find it horrible to begin with.

In the end mother nature told us that we should be staying at home so that mother nature could recover a bit and get better, we hurt the earth too much and it needed us to stop for a while, we said okay for few months which made it better but we came back even fiercer than old and now earth is killing us to save itself, we are the virus on this planet.
2964  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will 2017/2018 Bullrun repeat in 2021? on: October 26, 2020, 06:59:05 PM
Nothing will repeat anything, life is not like a cycle, it is like a bunch of different squabble lines that sometimes just cross paths and that's about it, it is not always like history it is just resembling you that same history whenever something similar happens but it is not the same, that good chestnut smell from that Christmas you remember always comes to mind when you smell chestnut but in reality you are buying it from street vendor, that is the resembling and same "repeat" we are talking about here as well.

All in all sure it could go up, it could have a hype, it could be $20k or even $30k, but just because 2017 had a big increase and just because 2021 has one, it won't mean that they are the same thing, it wouldn't even be remotely similar, it is only both of them going up and that's it, this doesn't make them repeats.
2965  Economy / Speculation / Re: PayPal to open up network to cryptocurrencies on: October 26, 2020, 05:58:55 PM
This is a brand new thing and I believe there is a huuuuge connection between paypal accepting crypto now and the increase in price as well, people trust paypal more than they should and that could cause them to use it a lot more than they normally would.

All these rich people who were afraid of going into bitcoin but didn't because they weren't sure about whats going to happen, might do that now due to paypal, buying millions of dollars worth of bitcoin from coinbase when you never did any bitcoin related work before could be a daunting experience whereas if you have millions of dollars and used paypal before and want to buy bitcoin you could now just do that on paypal. This is why I believe price of bitcoin is going up now, not because of anything else like hype or whatever.
2966  Economy / Speculation / Re: how many Bitcoin do you need to live comfy in event of hyperinflation? on: October 26, 2020, 05:28:28 PM
It is not about bitcoin only, hyper inflation is something that could ruin anyone and I mean anyone, we are in a world where if you live in a country like Venezuela for example, you are going to end up not living very well no matter how much money you have. Of course, some people with "power" could get out and power could be bought with bitcoin or usually just wealth in simple terms but if you are rich yet not powerful it doesn't matter how much money you have.

For example you have 10 million dollars worth of money and you live in Venezuela before the hyperinflation happened and just as it happened you go out and there are no food, no drink no nothing at all which would basically mean you are living like the poor people because your money is not buying anything in the end anyway.

I have never said that dude won't lose his money, I just said that he wasn't doing any big betting anymore, never even mentioned anywhere in my post that "he can't" or even "won't" because people could lose their money very very quickly. This dude is over 100+ bitcoins in profit and what I am trying to say that around for the past 4 days dude hasn't wagered that much, and that means he either will come back and lose it all eventually, but I am saying I think he picked the other option, just not to continue with gambling and taking that 100 btc out and not looking back.

Sure he could play small by small to get the fun out of his system with few bitcoins but he collected that 100 btc and withdrew it if you ask me. Obviously we will never know, what he will do, only time will tell.
2968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC PUMP, But Every other Coin Dumping!! on: October 25, 2020, 08:50:23 PM
In fact if btc is pumped the reason other coins are dumped is because everyone is leaning towards investing in btc due to which the price of bitcoin increases and the price of other currencies decreases. These usually increase by increasing the demand of the market not surprisingly the price of bitcoin as well as other altcoins will go up bitcoin will be at the top of all if bitcoin performs well the price of altcoin will increase.
Usually though when the price for bitcoins move up then almost every crypto moves up some might be slow and some faster but the usual trend obver the years have been like that. Now it is a bit different that the price in alts is going down because I would understand if the price remains stable for alts but decreasing price might show some serious surge in investors towards bitcoins and because of so many bad coins maybe investors are now losing faith in the altcoin market.

the shit coin investors leaving for btc, simple as that
You may call any coin as shitcoin but BNB is a solid one man and it allows to reduce fees on Binance exchange so it can't be categorized as shit and Ethereum has been the backbone in the crypto space.
2969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you think will become next Ethereum? on: October 25, 2020, 07:40:42 PM
Neo has lost its chance to be a competitor with ETH and there are rumors about the huge financial support by China government. My guess is EOS but there is a probability of explosion by NEO, DOT, SNTVT if the market turns its back to ETH. Maybe DEX will bring a new competitor for established blockchains too but I doubt ETH will be replaced by competitors soon.
I also like TRX because of the recent developments and the news coming from their team. I am amazed how quickly they move and you might wonder what's the latest news then you may check this out: https://www.crypto-news-flash.com/tron-trx-ceo-bittorrent-announces-acquisition-of-e-sports-platform/

I am not sure if it has the potential to be the next Ethereum though because ETH is like the Bitcoin of the altcoin market where everything flows under but really I am a firm believer that we might see a good price boost in coming months and there are good stake rewards too so people can easily earn some free coins like I earn on my TRX.
2970  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin price now and something interesting on: October 25, 2020, 06:14:30 PM
like every sell order getting eated. Roll Eyes
so all the profit takers sellings have immmediately buyer
simple words we have big accumalation in 13k price
This is not the first time, we are seeing bitcoin market is trading around $13$ region. But, it seems bitcoin market is slowly heading toward a new ATH which may happen by end of this year or completely in 2021 but definitely a new ATH is due after the recent halving. So by considering the long term trend of bitcoin markets, we can assume what ever things will happen right now may just pass away or will push prices toward bullish. This is as per what historically bitcoin market did just after every halving.

People may book profits around $13k and may re-enter lower than $13k but being a long term holder, I guess I do not need to bother them. I am just eyeing big target like $20k to take some profits. I believe when more people do target like me, I guess we may jump more quickly toward ATH rather than bothering these middle things.

Wangtang hasn't played in a large bet in 3 days or so, his last big bet was 3 days ago, so maybe he finally realized that he has to stop before he could lose all of his money, and that is a very smart decision.

If he stops gambling with huge numbers and instead focuses on gambling with smaller numbers (can't believe I am talking about few bitcoins and calling it "small") because if he tries to keep gambling with hundreds of bitcoin each time, he is not going to really come up with a big amount of income in the long run, he will end up with losing all of his money. Dude is something else, he is special, I have never seen anyone play millions of dollars on a regular crypto betting this easily before in my life, he must be an insanely rich dude who made this money, he probably has a lot more than this for not-gambling part of his life too.
2972  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: October 24, 2020, 08:09:29 PM
When a certain ANN thread becomes self-moderated then you cant really remove on someones mind not to have doubts when a gambling site do have a self-moderated thread and we
know that they know on whats the con's on having it but i do agree on what you had said that issues like these or shall we say non-sense topic shouldnt really be given any
attention or we can just simply report it since it is really out topic.Asking for gambling sites assets? Pathetic...
The difference between having a self-moderated topic and "not being able to complain" is not mutually exclusive. There is also a scam accusation part of bitcointalk. So, if there is any doubts, any complaints, any scam accusations for a website that gets removed, that person could start a new topic at the scam accusation part of the website and could talk about it there for days, you can write 10 posts a day about your complaint every single day without stopping for years, nobody will stop you from doing that.

However when you are not in a self-moderated topic and that dude writes here multiple times a day here, he is not only exercising his right to complain (which he has a right to) but he is also bothering other people as well. That is why I am in favor of self-moderated topics, it allows people to read about the website and not about just one person.
2973  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will replace oil and Gold on: October 24, 2020, 06:54:45 PM
I wholeheartly agree that oil will be replaced, I know it is huge right now and it would take decades before we could replace it as a whole, but for the past decade or even longer we have started to replace it. The problem is oil is an energy source and in order to replace it we have to find another energy source, whereas bitcoin is a financial currency, it could replace gold maybe but that would be few decades at least, but it can't replace oil at all since there is no way oil could be replaced by anything but another energy source.

It means our solar and wind energy resources are the things that will replace oil, those renewable energy ones are actually doing pretty good, back in the day they were a lot more expensive to worth a try but the price of them started to drop as well.
2974  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: October 24, 2020, 04:12:27 PM
Some gamblers just wanted to feel the rush of winning but in reality they are already losing a lot than winning. If player vs player like poker its about skills, so the more you are skilled about the game the higher the chances that you might win every round. Just don’t get hooked too much in gambling its only good in moderation.
People should not play for money was not a way for me to say "play with faucet money" or something like that, no you could spend money on it, lets say put in 50 bucks into the casino for the week (change the money however you are feeling) and spend only that money and you could have a lot of fun, you should be depositing and having fun with that deposited amount that is not a doubt in my mind.

What I meant by "do not gamble for money" was do not try to win money constantly, if you try to bet and try to win each time you are going to be upset more often than not. Because of the house edge people do not make that much profit and that causes people to actually end up chasing that loss and they end up losing a lot more money as well. Which is why I highly support not gambling for money but for fun.
2975  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: October 23, 2020, 11:03:48 PM
This discussion has been going on for a very very long time, this is why I always support self-moderated topics on every single casino since there are people who are copycats of game-protect (or maybe it is actually him) who makes ZERO sense at all. I have never seen ANYONE in the entire world who requests assets of a casino, there is not a single person in the entire world who would go to a casino (real brick and mortar casino or online casino) and asks about their assets, it makes ZERO sense to ask for their assets and that is none of our business at all.

If you are worried that they might scam people one day, well that starts with withdrawal problems, how many people withdraw their money from bitdice without any issue at all? If btidice allows people to withdraw whenever they want, that means there is no scam going on at all, why wonder about their assets?
2976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 23, 2020, 09:16:49 PM
Blazers had young players that they could improve with, they even paid them a lot of money as well, around 2016-2017 period they were really looking like a team of dame+cj plus a lot of promising young talent yet that talent never really became too good, which ended up causing them to lose in the long run because they had to get people from free agency to get better, which turned out to be alright but it was all due to getting good free agents (and getting Nurkic was lucky as well).

So, Portland is at that bad spot where they are not contenders but they are still pretty good, which is why I really think that they need just one more superstar, like proper superstar though, and they would be awesome but unfortunately they do not have the popularity to get it easily.
2977  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian currency big problems on: October 23, 2020, 06:58:06 PM
Russia was never a country that cared too much about how much their currency worth, they knew that if they do not act in the best interest of other nations they will cease to do business with them and their "de facto dictatorship" under Putin is basically just a way of telling the world that you can't trust Russia at all no matter what so companies are not really going there to build new places, hell China is the biggest dictatorship in the world yet people still build factories there, but not in Russia.

So, basically all of these currency problems are because Russia loves to intervene with other peoples business and always be shady and not trustworthy, that is why their currency never gets accepted globally, it is only viable in Russia and that is why it never worths anything.
2978  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Shit Hits the Fan: Australia joins US, India and Japan in Naval Exercise on: October 23, 2020, 06:11:32 PM
Exercises are just show of force, it is a way of saying "look what I have" and that is it, there is really no point to them at all.

Look at Azerbaijan and Armenia right now, there is absolutely no way those two could ever be similar in fire power, right now AZ has turkey backing them as well so it is combined over 90 million population with automating drone strikes and far superior military power going against 3 million population and not even remotely closer to that level military power and you know what is the result is? They are in stalemate that is not going anywhere at all. Reason? Today's wars are not fought and won with guns, sure you can go kill people but it is not going to make it stop nor it won't make it further the cause.

Australia, India, Japan and the whole world can show what weapons they have, hell USA has x30-40 more power than China, but just because you have big guns doesn't mean you can attack and win.
2979  Economy / Economics / Re: usa dollar future on: October 22, 2020, 09:22:43 PM
I am not a banker myself but my friend works in accounting in one of the four horsemen and I can tell you that they are getting more and more accounting request for crypto related stuff. He was already interested in crypto for the past 3-4 years and I can tell you that they didn't really had any crypto at all when he first started and nowadays they get like about 70k per month from the crypto companies.

Now obviously this is nothing because they are getting tens of millions of dollars from the regular companies but we really didn't expected crytpo to be equal to others right? So that still shows you that crypto is getting bigger and fiat is getting lower. One day everyone will prefer bitcoin because who wouldn't want a currency that doesn't change depending on the politicians?
2980  Economy / Economics / Re: btc value and currency inflations on: October 22, 2020, 07:10:44 PM
You will know by being able to buy the same things for the same bitcoin price instead of same usd price. For example, check how much 1 kilo of apple worths in bitcoin and how much it worths in dollar right now. If it is let's say 10 dollars (probably not that much) and let's say its 0.0001 bitcoin (or whatever btc to dollar rate is at that moment, this is just example) if the price of 1 kilo of apple stays at 0.0001 bitcoin but becomes 20 dollars one day, you will know dollar has gone up, but bitcoin stayed with the same valuation and worth.

Of course all the rates and the apple one is just example, you can calculate it based on today as well. 1 bitcoin is almost 13k, you can buy X item for 13k or 1 bitcoin, in 10 years that X item becomes 30k let's say and it stays 1 bitcoin, that is what we are trying to achieve.
