301  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Transaction time of Bitcoin on: October 10, 2019, 05:17:37 PM
The Terminology is kinda weak tbh. The "Transaction" is broadcasted almost instantly depends on your latency While the "Verification" can take anywhere from a few seconds to days depends on the mempool size/the fees attached with the transaction.

Quote
So do you people think that the problem of scalability can be solved with the lightning network other solution?

In short, Yes! But we are not there yet and we are nowhere near the adoption point where we need it overnight. BTC fees are still a few cents compared to other mediums. The lightning network has got plenty of time to work itself out.

1. Edit an image using notepad, paste the seed in between.

If someone is already on your PC, you have been compromised. You never COPY/PASTE your seed. There are much better alternatives to make backup copies of your seed which have been discussed here before.

Anyway, If I were to create a secure seed, I would download an official copy of windows from Microsoft and verify it first. Most people don't run official windows and if you ask me that's a major threat that most people ignore/are unaware of. After Installing the windows on a spare drive, I would Create a seed, backup the seed on 2 Encrypted flash drives and probably place them under a plant in my home Tongue Even if one of them fails I will have the 2nd one. The more flash drives you have, the better Tongue

i have seen Javier Mendez telling that when Khabib came to the gym initially he never used to wear protective gears nor mouth piece even while training and even if his coach ask him to do so he will never listen because when he competed in combat sambo there was groin strikes and head butt and Khabib fought and never got defeated and he was not comfortable wearing all the protective gears and that shows his mentality.

Exactly. I would suggest McNugget Fans to watch "Anatomy of a fighter" youtube series just to get an idea where the guy comes from. When you have been trained for war the ring is nothing. A 'cut' is nothing when you have been training for your whole life both Mentally and Physically. The only way I see Khabib going down is by a TKO, else I don't see how he ends up on the losing side.
304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Nodes in Space? on: October 10, 2019, 01:02:11 PM
If we are just worrying about a "catastrophic event" then under ocean nodes make more sense. Believe it or not, our oceans can survive pretty "harsh" stuff and will outlast us. Just like @Artemis3 mentioned we don't have a fix for the physical latency just yet. Till we figure that out, Having nodes in International waters can be a potential solution to "true censorship-resistance and reliability".

Ok mate fair enough, im done discussing with Khabib nuthuggers which claim you aren't looking at things from a neutral POV.

Tapping out like McChicken eh?? Thought this was gonna last at least a few rounds but I guess not Tongue

Quote
Let's just see how Khabib handles Tony Ferguson.

LMAO! You guys will never learn will ya? 10 came before and all of them got mauled! I know who to bet on in the next one as well Wink

Quote
But like it or not, there's a rematch happening in 2020, mostly because Khabib's dad said they will give him the rematch in Russia.

Only if he 'proves' himself. Let's not go there yet.

Conor did better than all of his previous opponents if you actually look at the fight from a neutral pov.

You have got to be fucking kidding me!! He did "good" only cuz he fucking cheated like 6 times during the fight. You need to put Connor's dick aside and see the fight from a neutral pov mate. He doesn't deserve a 2nd chance after the way he got fucking mauled.

Fighting is a very complex game,

For Khabib it isn't, it's his fucking life. I would suggest you watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnOVaDaGslQ to see where Khabib comes from. He is a fucking killer and the environment he grew up in can't be compared with anything that he gets in the ring... smdh...

Hold your horses' mate. The match ain't over till the last ball is delivered. Pakistan has a history of making a mess out of small run chases and i can bet this won't be so different...

To be honest, the only one coin is live with full decentralization and that is Bitcoin. Except bitcoin all other just a altcoin and likely centralized. Although few altcoin have some advantages but that's are nothing with bitcoin blockchain. Probably that's the reason why bitcoin creator staying anonymous and no one is there to control bitcoin blockchain. If you want to upgrade bitcoin blockchain with comparing other altcoin then likely it will turn into centralization which would lose the value of current bitcoin. Remember, even your father is oldest but you can't replace him with your son.

GOD!! I wish SMAS was still around. Dude refrain from commenting on topics which you know nothing about, it ruins the reading experience for other users... Back in my day posts like these were considered 'shit posting' and I see you have been on a roll lately...

You are just stating the obvious which has been stated by other users before you and in some places you are giving out wrong information to newbies.

I also have big doubts he can do it. He has all the resources in the world, best minds in the game to tweak his stamina, but I believe ultimately it comes down to genetics. I still believe Conor can get the job done even if by a small margin, if he tweaks certain things.

I do hope technology will develop to the point that nothing bad happens.

The technology is already there... Solar, wind, wave, nuclear and so on. Unfortunately, everybody has been put to sleep. I find it funny how we haven't learned anything from the past. There are stories like Noah's flood, he warned everyone about it but no one listened instead, he was made fun of and ridiculed. Today the same thing is happening again and the naysayers are mocking and ridiculing anybody who tries to warn them. If I'm to look at the past then I know what's coming next. It seems inevitable but I hope I'm wrong...

I'm going to watch that video you linked. I'm always looking for documentaries about climate change and I'm surprised I never came across it. At least I think I haven't.

Yeah please do it is about Coral reefs and how they are on the brink of extinction...

We can't afford to delude ourselves when it comes to this problem.

I think it's too late already. But hey that's my pessimistic self speaking. Besides CO2 Emissions there are things like this "50 Minutes to Save the World" : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wthTmQHmuZ0 which we are sleeping on.

Don't go with someone without a portfolio. Something like this requires an optimized code So that everything is fast. A Newbie won't cut it. Just Like @hatshepsut93 mentioned Captchas do expire fairly quickly, A slow 'code' will only hurt your business. Try to hire someone from Freelancer or Upwork if you don't get someone from the forum.

He's Chief Selector and Coach so he's the only reason Akmal and Shahjad are in the squad. i don't follow PCL so not sure if both of them are top performer or not.

If my memory serves me well... They both got some runs on their back in PSL. That could explain their selection but oh boy Pakistan got thrashed in the T20s, that too by an 8th ranked team Grin . No wonder why 'Unpredictable' word suits them soo much.

Quote
"It's unfortunate in our circuit, there is no other batsman in T20s who had performed better than them. Players who have performed in domestic surely deserve a chance, and that's why we offered them.

I call this BS. There weren't any runner ups to these 'old' farts? If that was the case why not just shut down the PSL as it is clearly not serving its purpose of 'Grooming' new talent. I love it when people Fuck up and don't want to take the blame. Misbah Fucked up with that selection and he needs to eat all the criticism he gets... smdh.

@pereira4 A rematch isn't happening unless Connor pulls out some stupid shit as the bus incident again, iyam that won't end well for him this time Tongue Khabib won't be taking a re-match until Connor proves himself to be worthy, which I don't see happening as he has got all the money in the world now. Tongue I do agree with @SaShiRaJaVu Connor vs Dustin makes perfect sense and to see Connor "Back the fucking talk".

You may argue about the fight being 'good' for business but remember khabib ain't about money, He is all about his 'Legacy'. The way dude is disciplined I doubt any amount of money will be able to convince him. Tongue

That stupid girl that has gone to America in a carbon fibre boat to pretend that she has a zero carbon footprint sums it all up. She is funded by big money. Carbon fibre is an intense user of resources and creates large amounts of emissions in its production, and the crew is flying home by plane. That just about sums up the whole of the mentality of the climate change sheep.

LMAO!! you have got to be kidding me? How is 'she' suppose to reach her destination then? Is 'she' suppose to walk whenever she wants to travel? You sound like an orangutan right now... The awareness 'She' is creating will help decrease carbon emissions which will be many thousand folds over what her carbon footprint is. Think of her carbon footprint as an investment which will yield results of many thousand folds over in the coming years. Wink

Just like @hatshepsut93 said you will have to hire someone to develop it for you. If you aren't willing to hire a developer to make this for you. Your best bet is to contact these websites and check up with them if they want to share their code with you for revenue share or sell it completely. If i'm being honest the chances are slim but you could try your luck.
