Add the masternodes and the project elevates even more. hip hop and away... Man it must have taken hours or research to come to that conclusion.... Go back 4-5 pages and you will see my post saying this coin WILL dump to 50-55k, guess I was right huh? Sorry but the only thing this coin has going for it is branding, and even then it's hijacking the bitcoin name and not even forking off. This is nothing more than a pivx/dash masternode clone with POS and a green branding angle. Not that it's a terrible project, just don't believe hype, these young masternode coins are prone to consistent dumping right now. |

They through out arbitrary numbers like 20k and basically said meh it could be more...we don't know yet. They should have just said nothing at all, going back and forth is too much of indication of trying to manipulate the price.
Delusional bag holders need to realize that this has been a pretty sub par implementation of masternodes and just because it's a coin from 2014 doesn't make it any better.
DMD for example implemented masternodes LAST YEAR, and came out with the collateral amount and never changed it. New masternodes coins are launched literally everyday, at this point it's nothing special. They have been saturated since late last year.
I hold ZERO THC, but if I did have some I would look to get out on the latest volume and price spike. Sorry for the FUD, just my opinion, been watching the developments of this for some time now and have not been so impressed.

Yup sure is, there has been more good news this year than last year, price doesn't reflect unfortunately but you are right there is much more mainstream acceptance of crypto. Bloomberg for example wasn't talking or taking crypto seriously in 2014-2016, now it seems like they have an article or talk about it everyday. Same thing with other mainstream media outlets, gosh there never was any talk of crypto on fast-money in 2014, now they talk crypto everyday it seems. |

Zcash dev holds Zcashco hostage by threatening to fork leading up to the overwinter release because they didnt pay him/her enough to maintain the the zcash wallet. He/She mentions in the article that his/her builds were used by most if not all zcash implementations including komodo, they go on to mention that Komodo paid them more than any other altcoin for the work done. The developer must be independent, not exclusive to any coin...think it says something about Komodo core team reimbursing more to valuable developer work. Sad that such a big ICO has gone through so much in it's inception, a lot of investors have been pissed off about having their funds locked up for so long. The KYC requirement just kind of throws salt an an open wound there.
Aside from that there is still great anticipation for the launch of Tezos, but they surely have lost some ground as far as a token economy platform goes.
Who knows what kind of projects may have been built on them if they launched earlier.

umm the price of 40-45 is really sad? why it is constantly falling down?
go look at the chart of similar POW based masternode coins and you will find the same thing, masternode owners are dumping their rewards and miners are also dumping too... its just the nature of a market right now, if you cant deal with sub 40k sat prices then i would sell, it wouldnt surprise me if we go as low as 30k On a more optimistic note, Polis is more established as a masternode coin than most on masternode tracking sites. I know the Polis devs are experienced because they had their governance setup before most other masternode coins. Also PolisPay is going now...a good sign. |

I do trades when I have free time or when I got home from work. I am so sick seeing those sell and buy walls on every altcoins I wanted to trade which I understand that it was from a group of people who also wanted to buy or sell their holdings on the same price. Do you think that it this type of sell and buy walls are the reason of market manipulation or just an over reaction from those traders that are affected in FUDs and FOMOs?
I think it is a type of market manipulation, massive buy/sell walls on crypto markets are pretty common and as old as the markets themselves. They are considered market manipulation because they can be faked to induce buyer/sellers. I think that most of the time they are done by bots though, I have noticed that if i have a big buy (by my standards) on an order book sometimes my buy will get lumped into the wall as if the bots are creating the walls based on where more volume is. I wouldn't pay too much attention to them man, especially the big sell walls. If the coin is legit than it will do well long term. |

I did not know that steemit articles were an accepted medium for bounties, this kind of motivates me to do more bounty hunting aside from just a sig campaign.
I have had a steem account for years and have some steem on there that I powered up years ago...but i honestly never use it.
From you're experience what's the best way to make money on steem...if i power up a hefty amount say 2k worth. Should i look to sell my votes maybe? Any advice would be appreciated! thanks man

We've got quite a few very exciting developments planned over the next few months  Such as? Anything in beta we can check out or you holding onto things until post Pos before sharing  I'm also interested in what is coming, I think the homenode was a great addition and especially now that we are switching to POS..but I tend to agree that POS coins seem to have a market that moves differently than POW coins in a good/bad way. Good for POS because maybe people are less likely to dump coins they mint, bad because like thehas said there is less exposure to new investors. For POW good because more people find the coin, think about how many people mined BWK especially after getting on mining info sites like whattomine.com. But bad because most of these miners just mine then dump, just my opinion though, maybe some mine to accumulate a node...who knows. I'm just interested in the future of BWK, team and community seem good for a low cap coin. |

So... with the update my MasterNode is no longer working smoothly.
'Watchdog-Expired' stays on... I tried to put Sentinel on my VPS, following the directions, and it fails with 2 errors on debug.
They say that this error is not big deal... so I let it roll -- but it also goes to "New_Start_Required" every hour or so now.
So basically it is broken. I logged into my VPS and updated the Daemon... should I do anything else ?
Had it running smooth as butter for 2 weeks prior to the update situation.
Try restart alias from updated control wallet. And I recommend connecting to Discord, there everything goes quickly. Help and problem solving almost 24/7 Yes I am restarting it each time it says "New_Start_Required" but it keeps going back to that. I will have to try Discord I suppose. double check all the information in your config files, it will kick your node back to new start required if some of that information doesnt match or is wrong Indeed. I checked them all again -- they are all correct as they have been since I ran the MN for ~2 weeks. Today I wiped clean my VPS and re-installed everything... re-download block-chain... set up the config on the VPS and started it back up. So far it seems to be okay other than the "watchdog" error which I will work on again later (I need to get Sentinel going from what I read). VPS side the wallet is the right version & on the right block. The "masternode status" command indicates that the status is "masternode successfully started" -- so we will see if it sticks overnight. Sounds to me like you are good if you see that "masternode successfully started", and yes the watch_dog thing comes from not having sentinel installed on your VPS. Everyone is saying you will still get rewards even if you have that so don't stress on it, but you will need it eventually. There is a guide on how to install it in discord, but after you get sentinel going check here: https://masternodes.gobyte.network/Look for your VPS ip and make sure that ports are open and your node shows as active. |
