I highly doubt China eradicated the virus..
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCP] Counterparty - Pioneering Peer-to-Peer Finance - Official Thread on: May 20, 2021, 02:43:39 PM
SOG was another playing/trading card game, Spells Of Genesis, that had limited number cards as counterparty tokens..
Similar to the rare Pepe cards, both were supposed to be online card games using provenly rare cards you could prove ownership of on the Bitcoin blockchain, and therefore prove the right to play them..

Maybe some of it will come back someday..
As far as I know it should all still work..

It got expensive for a while and then most was seemingly abandoned.. What a shame..
363  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: May 20, 2021, 02:28:58 PM
Addresses / transactions in the Cryptsy blog at the time of the hack can be seen here:
https://web.archive.org/web/20160325013714/http://blog.cryptsy.com/

These two addresses had 100BTC incoming transactions in 2014, and weren't spent until 2020:
https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/15yRZyEyzwyNhCFBfqWBJDXsuJn9WJVhnJ
https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/17QwFUD9awdi4JcncVrkxfDDBvEos8HU8H

These two addresses had 100BTC incoming transactions in 2014, and weren't spent until 2021:
https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/12KBnNKkEdjcojNZ7ceBhDBJWhMZbtttgr
https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/159m8sYcDJwPfJaVpLeKJitkQTiPKevnY4

The last address to have 100BTC sent to it remains unspent here:
https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/1AA8YJ2DeYr99BS1PrsFKWC1p9hXT28dup

The reward/bounty address that Paul Vernon set up had small amounts sent to it in 2016. It was spent in February this year suggesting that even if Paul Vernon wasn't in control of the above, he is certainly in contol of the below and thus, must be alive.
https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/1KNi4E4MTsF7gfuPKPNAbrZWQvtdQBTAAa

If you follow the trail, it always ends up at an exchange. For example, if you follow the https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/159m8sYcDJwPfJaVpLeKJitkQTiPKevnY4, you'll see that it follows a trail to Binance's hot wallet here: https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/1NDyJtNTjmwk5xPNhjgAMu4HDHigtobu1s

This BTC is long laundered through Binance and HitBTC. As the Class Action is now over, I'm assuming it's done and dusted as far as the lawyers on the case are concerned; they certainly haven't responded to my comms.

This is some good forensics and it took me down a rabbit hole, revisiting the feud between BitJohn and Gleb for the last hour. I wonder if CZ would care about this sort of thing. Binance has taken actions to stop flows of coins from hacked/scam exchanges. HitBTC... wouldn't count on it.

BitcoinXpress once said that Big Vern started a new exchange in China... guess business from that dried up at some point?

The new Chinese exchange was running even before cryptsy closed..

Bitebe9 it was called iirc
Had to use wwww.bitebe9.com to make it work

It goxed too..
Just disappeared one day with some dust I sent to it to play with it..

368  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 19, 2021, 01:54:58 PM
Hahahahaha... The carnage... I love it!!!

It's kinda funny how we have become this way, isn't it?

My thoughts too.

"Oh, I've just lost a third of my wealth. Nevermind, at least the noob shitcoiners are burning. It'll bounce back again and hit a new ATH soon enough. Carry on with lunch."

What a weird breed us hodlers are  Grin

I find it exciting and I’m greatfull to be able to witness these such events live..

This is like the $20 XPY wall.. I shall never forget..

Shout out to the shittiest exchange in existence (Coinbase) - it conveniently stops working when there is something interesting going on in the market, therefore preventing me from mindrusting my corns in panic.
Buying of selling!

If was to buy then I feel bad for you, hope you are not missing it. Fuck Coinbase who even use this shit!

Uh.. I has some stash on CB PRO from dip buying too... Huh

Need more FUD as I can almost afford to add another full coin to my stash.
How about every Bitcoin hodler ends up with violent diarrhoea for the rest of their life and it's particularly bad when you're driving a Tesla?
Only dumping your coins and then riding a lying alpaca cures it.

Elon, can you tweet that please, I know you're game buddy?

I’ll sell you 1 full coin right now for a sweet deal of 100,000 (previously)freedom shekels.. USD
373  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 19, 2021, 01:30:55 PM
Quite a fucking dip!!
>50% from ATH

374  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 19, 2021, 01:28:26 PM

378  Other / Meta / Re: P&S moderator? on: May 18, 2021, 12:33:59 AM
The board needs attraction of more critical thinkers and people who actually care about politics related to Bitcoin..

It used to be that people who were into Bitcoin were into it for political reasons and now most are just in it for the get rich quick scheme..

The P&S board isn’t much but a late repeater of stories that break elsewhere, it is heavily loaded with posts supporting all mainstream points/propaganda to enforce modern progressivism/Marxist agenda, knowingly/purposefully or not, it is otherwise very low IQ other than barely a handful of others with half a brain who care to make posts questioning the CNNesque barrage..

I almost never report anything on the forum..
To me, the forum allows such massive amounts of low IQ shitposting that can barely be comprehended, that worrying about some things being off topic or trolling seems ridiculous..

I’d prefer intelligent trolling and breakoff conversation to the massive amounts of unintelligent blather any day..
