So the story here is that this friend of yours send, at some point, nude pics (some of them when she was minor...) to a guy that he is now dead.
Then all of a sudden, she receives a mail (?) or a FB message (?) to send to this account more pics or else the blackmailer will post the pics that he has already to her job, friends etc surroundings. Am I say it correctly or I miss something?
Correct.. Exactly.. He just sent her a long list of names he is threatening to send them to.. Also.. I guess this has been going on for a long time.. If you have facebook profile image of this guy you can run image search on google/yandex to get information if he is using real photo, but I doubt that.
This is free however so you can try it.
You can also check same image for exif and possible traces.
This is serious stuff, and if police can't help her, she can hire other people to track him.
I am sure he made some mistakes or will make mistakes in communication.

Trump - insists on sending federal law enforcement into certain cities despite local authorities being against that. I'm not quite sure who that's supposed to appeal to. Probably going to piss off the residents of those cities. Might make some of his base happy but they're already happy with him. Doesn't seem to be helping with the actual law enforcement because these interventions tend to inflame the protests and the locals will need to clean it up anyway. What else? What's the play here?

I don't think he's grasped the part about the statistical likelihood of what he's talking about here. Like -- there's so many cities in the US and at first (March/April) places were reporting large records of numbers so it makes sense that something like this would happen.

I've had some trouble with authorities but not even close to that.
Not that I was perfectly innocent.. I owned a 7 bedroom "flop house" (the police called it) at the time, right down town next door to the mayor's son, renting out all the rooms ($$), lots of people traffic coming and going, loud partying, more than a few unsavory characters coming and going.. Bunch of my closest friends at the time ended up doing pretty serious time after they got into drugs, but I never liked drugs myself.. I'm grateful and lucky that something about me just never really was interested in or wanted to do drugs like too many others have been ruined over.. I was more of a drinker (kinda wild).. I consider myself somewhat of a survivor.. I have been completely out of trouble and off paper for probably 7 years or so now, started over from nothing again, doing pretty well, stick much more to myself and just very few close friends and family.. Not so adventurous anymore.. Kinda hate the government since though.. It strikes me that a reasonably likely outcome of the election is that Trump loses but refuses to accept that he's lost.
It strikes me ad exceptionally likely that Trump/R voters are keeping their heads down amidst all this rioting crap and Trump will win in November no matter what all the polls and propaganda may have you believe..  Also, to me the though of Trump freaking out and going all dictator refusing to leave office if he loses is absolutely ridiculous.. I think if you believe this you have been drinking wayyy to much progressive "orange man bad" coolaid, buying into their narrative of him being some sort of deranged lunatic, which he absolutely is not.. Prolly have ptsd from their bogus charges alone.. No wonder I don't much like the government.. They ruined my life I had, and it was pretty good.. I can't say that I knew all the answers from those I got correct but it was not hard to select some answers from the other options as some of those options are not even close to the answers. Few answers were complete buffs :-D Multiple choice questions are often pretty easy to narrow down to just 1 or 2 Qs for better chances.. |

DNS cannot go down - it's distributed. The issue is many websites are relying on a third party. I'm sure you could still access BTCT if Theymos were to give out the server IP. For a fee, theymos could give a private IP address/subdomain that is a server that connects to the forum server. The server could have limits as to how frequently it will connect to the forum server to avoid it being used to DDoS the forum server. If the server gets DDoS'ed by the user, nothing will happen.
Cloudflare DNS went down earlier today, which affected much of the internet, including the forum. CF is very cheap, but they do business inside China, which means they are friendly with the CCP, which implies they are willing to censor content at the request of the CCP. My suggestion is to find an alternate DDoS protection service. Yeah something like that.. I don't really like the idea of the cloudfare monopoly either.. What about something like an onion mirror? Would that work for an emergency backup that is pretty secure? |
