361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We dont own enough bitcoin on: January 26, 2024, 09:05:07 PM
For most of us who are still in the process of accumulating more bitcoin, it’s obvious to say that we hadn’t have enough bitcoin on our wallet. And even if we can buy a lot of bitcoin during this dip, I guess no one would still admit that we have enough bitcoin on our wallet. That only proves that anyone who is dying to own bitcoin won’t never know the meaning of enough. We would always want to buy and buy again until we don’t have any means to buy anymore.

Still, I like how Jonathan Kuminga is growing. Double digits in points for these past weeks and tonight was the highest with 31 points. He is becoming an offensive weapon of the Warriors and he is still learning. His body control mid-air is also getting better, I cannot even count how many and1's he made today. Then, he is using ball fakes at the right timing and he is now using it effectively against big men when he is under the paint.
Last night he was also awesome. 11/11 field goals. Yes, did not even miss a shot. The Warriors still have a chance if Coach Kerr could make some plays for him.

We need to see him getting more minutes with the team, he is not only beneficial on the offensive end but he is also a good defender and a rebounder. We have to admit that the Warriors now are different during the previous seasons when they are still dominating, but what I admire about them is they never give up and still remain competitive, Curry wasn't even asking for a trade when their team are struggling, they'll fix this problem and I'm optimistic with that.

Losing 1 point is not bad at all on a competitive game, and the Warriors shooting are very impressive.

Overall - FG percentage, 56%... 3 Pts 51%, and FT's 78%. They just had a rough night that's why they loss.

Yes, and there instance that there was a no call on Steph Curry and that fumble in the end, very uncanny of him but he was double team and time is running out. It was a very competitive game indeed. It's winnable, and playing against one of the best team in the West, and they have the numbers against the Kings, but I guess they don't want to lose another games to the Warriors.

And for the Warriors fans, I know it's tough to see them lose another close game, but I think this season, it's a different team and there could be movement of some pieces before the trade deadline.

Hopefully there's a major addition or changes to the Warriors roster that would fix their problem. They have a lot of close games and they lose most of them. Before, when the Warriors are holding a big lead, it's unlikely that the opposing team will come back, this season they have some disappointing lose from that.

Warriors are currently ranked at number 12 with below .500 win rate. This showed how they really struggled, plus the loss of Draymond Green is still a big factor on why they struggled a lot on their defense. I don't know when he'll come back, but if ever he'll come back soon, I'm hoping to see a change Draymond Green and will bring back the old kind of energy they had during their championship run.

364  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why they need a license if bitcon is not money? on: January 26, 2024, 09:10:27 AM
If Bitcoin is not money, what would have been the fate of the exchanges, how either will the gambling platforms accept bitcoin for use or crypto, I don't even think we would have been all here making discussions like this and lastly, having an avenue to participate online gambling platforms would have been so tiring and frustrating to many of us if we are not having alternative to it.
bitcoin is a money in digital form and that is what I do believe and learn over the years so yeah it is not that to made confusions .
and you are also correct that if this is not a money so why are we talking about this still now so stop of the complain about this.
and Licensing is jus a form of government to make money so its given already.
I think the take that "bitcoin is not money" from the government happened a long time ago. They are freezing bitcoins and keep it. Now they are encouraging operators to get a license, or will pay the hefty penalty. In short, they are treating it like a fiat casino business as major rules are applied in crypto casino as well. There's no argument in this thing, the world evolve, crypto grow and therefore changes happened.
365  Other / Meta / Re: Other Forum members are more civil than Legendary members, Why? on: January 25, 2024, 11:38:27 PM
I haven't noticed that from a user yet, but it all depends on how you react or feel about a specific response given to you by the user, regardless of their rank in the forums. It is good to be nice to people when responding to them, but because this is not moderated in the forum, you either learn from it or leave them alone. It could be their way of life, their own way of expressing themselves, or their reactions to a question or discussion. I don't see this as a problem because you agreed to join a public forum and learn here. Accept the correction and learn from the critics.
That’s also my perspective on that. It can’t be avoided that there will be a bargain of behaviors in the forum as we are raised from different cultures, some might be soft in their words  and some might be used on using tough words, but it’s not really an issue unless if you give meaning to those. And the fact that we are dealing with a public forum, expect the unexpected. But the main focus here is learning, so most likely if that’s the best way they can express their own opinions or ideas, then you can’t do nothing about it but just learn from them.
366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the rush to gain profit in crypto? on: January 25, 2024, 09:47:05 PM
Why do we have this feeling that if we see other people in profits, then we also try to be profitable as well, regardless if we have no certain knowledge and skills to achieve success. I believe greed is the first reason, as everyone has its own greed, it’s just a matter of how we are able to control it individually. And most likely, the big lie that majority of crypto influencers are talking about, that trading is a get rich quick, and that anyone may find it hard to resist but chose to risk in trading and lose the funds in the end.
367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tim Tszyu vs Keith Thurman WBO super welterweight Title March 31 on: January 25, 2024, 02:44:34 PM
So Thurman is going to 154 lbs now? It's good though, I mean as he age, he might have issues making 147 lbs. However, he will be given a nod to fight for the belt at his new weight class, lucky for him.

One thing that might go against him is the long layoff. He could experience what we call ring rust. But Tim Tszyu has been in this weight class for sometime now and supposedly be fighting Charlo for unification. I check the rankings, and Charlo holds the WBA and WBC (together with Brian Mendoza).
Thurman has been eying for a big fight and here it is. For him to get this kind of fight despite a long layoff, that only tells tha the is still capable even at his age. Thurman is now 35 years old, while Tim Tszyu is 29 years, huge age disparity but I trust Thurman to give  Tim Tszyu a real challenge.

If Thurman was more active, maybe people will be seeing Thurman to be the favorite here, but since he is the challenger and he is moving up, I understand now why he is the underdog.

I think Tim might beat Thurman though, maybe Keith is about to hit his sunset in boxing for being so inactive and can't pull the trigger anymore.

Or could be the other way around. here's my take, Thurman wants to prove to the world that he is still here, he can still fight and can win a championship. A loss here might say goodbye to his career, so I'll bet on him to win with that attractive moneyline odds.
368  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 25, 2024, 12:42:32 PM
In view of what was revealed, it is probably true that they are experiencing a downturn, so they have made a policy of reducing their advertising activities to create a balance, and it is a logical decision that rather than stopping their advertising outright, reducing the payment is a wise decision and they can still continue their advertising without interruption.
Yeah. It's a logically sound decision indeed considering the global economy which is slowly and steadily recovering currently and the fact that they can't keep paying decent amounts forever without making a few cuts here and there.

This is similar to layoffs and paycuts in companies around the world if you think about it.

I was part of the Roobet campaign in the past, been there for a while and I understand the decision of the management through Hhampuz. Reducing participants and payrate is normal, and I see that their payrate now is still competitive among active campaigns in the forum. However, don't speculte that they are having a problem, maybe they put more concentration on other types of advertising for the bests interest of the company.
369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: January 25, 2024, 11:51:25 AM
As what the announcers mentioned, game 1 winner has a higher chance to win the series. I could not remember the percentage but if the trend persist, it will be SMB which will be advancing in the Finals.
But trend does are not followed all the time. I think we will see some exemption this time. Besides, that lose from Ginebra was not really a lose that they can't beat SMB, it was a tough game a close one but SMB ended up lucky in the end. I'd call it lucky because they didn't Ginebra, so game two should be Ginebra "ALL IN", if we want to make quick buck.  Smiley

I have a feeling that this series will reach to game 5.

Ginebra needs to do a great job on CJ Perez as the was the one who contributes big for SMB, he needs to be limited.

For sure we will see that kind of adjustment in game 2. They didn't start strong, so this time they'll have two as they know how capable SMB is.
370  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can we understand market going to be Bear? on: January 24, 2024, 11:42:28 PM
We know better cryptocurrency market always unpredictable. Yet we invest in the cryptocurrency market. Sometimes the market gradually turns to bear.
My question is how do we know if the market will go bearish.
We can only tell if the market goes bearish if majority of the coins are consistently dropping their prices. With that, there’s high chances that the market will turn bearish after a bullish season. That’s also the time when these greedy investors stop buying coins, because they always though that bullish market is the best time to buy but feel upset and discouraged when the market turns into bearish. Without realizing that the best time to buy is when the market is bloody and all the coins are showing 20% price off.
371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: January 24, 2024, 08:39:21 AM
Bucks is 30-13 and 2nd in the NBA standing but the management don't like teams defensive performance so they fired Adrian Griffin. Bucks had the second-best percentage of teams to let their coach go after the Cavs parted ways with David Blatt in 2015-16. According to rumours Doc Rivers is a top candidate for the job. They have both Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo. A team with such great players and aiming for the championship should have such an experienced coach.

Why was Adrian Griffin fired? I couldn't understand why they would do such a thing when they had such a good winning percentage and the team was the second best team in the NBA.
Doc Rivers is a legend, he will have a huge impact on the team becoming champions. If he stays with the Bucks for many years, they can be a team that wins back-to-back championships. But I think it's interesting that they made such a decision in the middle of the season. I hope the team doesn't start playing badly after Griffin

We don't know what's happening behind the scene but based on my observations, there are games where the Bucks are not on the same page. I mean, with their strong line up, they should dominate their opponents especially the weak teams, but that didn't happen, they look dull on the court and it's always been Giannis who are carrying the team, with that kind of play, I doubt they'll beat the Celtics or the Heat.

This changes is due to the fact that they are not satisfied with the job of the coach, and despite having a good record, it's not that relevant for them as they want more, they need to be a championship team and ensure they'll win the championship. Doc Rivers, have the experience but he's messing up on the past teams he handles, maybe this time he'll find a success.
372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: January 24, 2024, 08:25:09 AM
Not sure if it's a best of 7 or best of 5, but I think Phoenix will be lucky to win a game.

It's a best of 5 series, and you can verify that on their website. https://pba.ph/
Don't forget that tomorrow will be the first game of the semi finals, we have the double header, Phoenix vs Magnolia on first game and SMB vs Ginebra on the 2nd game.
Yes, it's just a best of 5 series for both Phoenix vs Magnolia and SMB vs Ginebra. All of the schedules are there until Sunday and basically three games for both brackets will be done. SMB and Ginebra is for sure going to have a lot of crowd even this is just a semi finals. And both sister companies are going to fight for moving to the finals while their other sister against Fuel Masters. It's basically three SMB companies on the semi finals and it is going to surprise a lot of fans if Fuel Masters will take this championship.  Grin

That will be a big surprise if it will happen. This young team going to the finals and beat either SMB or Ginebra, that's a cinderalla story. Right now, they aren't even expected to win in game 1 as the handicap is so high, it opened with +9.5 and it close to +8.5. I'm not sure if Fuel Masters will be able to make it a close game but hopefully they will so we will be able to witness an entertaining match.

What I like about this young team now is that they are complete, they have an unselfish import and they are slowing gaining some confidence which it's very much needed against  tough depender team.
373  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why people mostly fail in trading on: January 23, 2024, 11:54:37 PM
Simply, people fail in trading because they are not good enough. Even if we say they are knowledgeable, but if they also lack in their experience, they will still never work in trading. As much as knowledge should be given high importance, but it’s always skills and strategies, and good experience in the market should be given high emphasis.

Trading is not about who’s smarter or wiser, but it’s all about who’s skillful and experienced. Professional traders may not be smart and wise enough, but their varied experiences in the market make them professional and successful in their own ways.
374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Denying yourself comfortability in other to buy Bitcoin on: January 23, 2024, 10:59:07 PM
I’ve been doing this when I started purchasing bitcoin. I never go to bars more often, I minimized my gambling activities, and I stop buying my dream gadgets so I can save a lot to invest in bitcoin. But later on I realized, that there is still no guarantees that I will be highly profitable with bitcoin in the end knowing it’s price would suddenly moves up and down. So what I do now is just to invest on my spare money. I can still enjoy my extra money with some of my wants, and at the same time invest in bitcoin without setting a fixed target when to sell.

Don't forget that tomorrow will be the first game of the semi finals, we have the double header, Phoenix vs Magnolia on first game and SMB vs Ginebra on the 2nd game.

As for the betting lines, as of this writing, we have as follows.

1-Phoenix +9.5
2-Ginebra +1.5

Good thing they put the Ginebra vs SMB on the 2nd game which will start at 8:00 PM. That looks like a championship game and I think whoever wins that series will become the champion as they will be tested very well, unlike the Magnolia vs Phoenix series which for sure will only be a one sided beat down.
376  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit stole my withdrawal… please help on: January 23, 2024, 01:04:08 PM

He did not say that his girl friend requested the Rollbit to close the account, i think she must have requested the OP, who is her boy friend) and convinced him to close the account and he agreed on that time but later he must have regret this decision and that is the reason he want to gamble and open a new account.

Is it? Then how he can say that Rollbit closed the account without any verification? what type of verification he was talking about? If you are right then knew about the account closing from the beginning and he did it. Smiley

btw seems already created a topic in the scam accusation section. let's discuss it there.

Excuse like that is already nonsese. The account's identity is more relevant, whoever uses it, it doesn't matter as long as the user were able to access the credentials, so he/she use the account in any way. If the account requested "self exclusion", or closure, that's it, they have to deal with the consenquences.
377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: January 22, 2024, 11:24:55 AM
I'm also on the Suns spread (-5.5), as the Pacers would have less firepower in their lineup now that Haliburton is confirmed out.

The Suns might be one of the worst teams in covering the spread, but with the Pacers needing time to adapt after their loss against the Blazers, i'd better go with the team that could take advantage of that.

phoenix suns is actually a good team. but from a long time ago the style of play is out side so that it is often windy sometimes playing well sometimes if the 3point shooter is stuck, the game becomes very bad and easy to lose. if you just qualify for the playoffs, it's easy but if you want to win the NBA it's very difficult.
And bet you hold the Phoenix Suns this time to win.

That turns out to be a close game but in the end Suns were able to cover the spread. Unfortunately not on my case since I bet early, the line movement was insane, it started at -5.5 and ended at -7.5 and I too the last line which I lose since Suns only won by 7 points. Tomorrow they'll play again, I think I'm going to bet against them as I like the fresh team which is the Bulls.
378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: January 22, 2024, 10:33:34 AM

Phoenix may advance in the semi finals but I doubt they'll pass through the Magnolia Hotshots. Magnolia is more phyisical than the Meralco, they have a better import and they are moving the ball well, so their offense is not dry.
That's a real challenge for them but they are already successful reaching in the semi finals as they don't usually qualify at this level. It's usually the MVP vs SMB teams that will advance, but they beat Meralco so they deserve to be in this spot.

I think it will be Magnolia vs SMB/Ginebra in the Finals.

Magnolia that's guaranteed, their pesky defense are not gonna put Phoenix on exemption. And one this is sure, we will see a low scoring game here as it will be physical throughout the series. I not sure how effective Perkins will be but they need him to do some extra work.
379  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Gold vs Btc on: January 20, 2024, 08:13:31 PM
Gold is simply old generation. It might have served people well in the past, but today's generation will unlikely be attracted to gold as a SoV due to digitization of everything and because of the rise of nomad entrepreneurs.
Gold is an old trend investment while bitcoin is currently the digital investment of the new millennium. A lot might still stuck with gold but majority of the investors these days prefer to take risk with bitcoin than gold. Although it's certainly more risky than gold or with any other physical investments, but the profits are definitely life changing that made it highly irresistible for many.
380  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I become a professional trader? on: January 20, 2024, 06:02:08 PM
It takes a lot of considerations before you can reach the position of a professional trader. While successful trading requires good fundamental and technical analysis, as well as candle analysis, but if you are actually an active trader, you will know that trading is not all about analysis. Patience and consistency of showing positive attitude will also matter a lot.

It’s not that once you trade and you lose after, you will eventually quit from trading due to high risk of losing. Trading requires high motivation to relearn and reset your goals, if you are not flexible enough, you will never last in trading.
