381  Economy / Exchanges / Re: I can't find my transaction in blockchain explorer on: November 12, 2017, 05:07:56 AM
Shit I just realized I'm having this same issue. Keep us updated on what support says. I bet it will take forever to hear from them though. Hopefully this is resolved before then. They're really going downhill quickly.
382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but... on: November 12, 2017, 05:03:31 AM
Lol you're bummed you don't own BCH. You sir, are here for the wrong reasons. That is very clear.

Maybe you should be more worried about holding your own wealth. Maybe you should be more worried about complete and total financial freedom. The price gains are just a bonus on top of an already great product. Don't get wrapped up in the fiat price. Fiat is literally worthless by definition.
383  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fork gone! BTC to $10k in 2017 guaranteed! on: November 12, 2017, 05:00:55 AM
I think we'll see an increase in price if we stop seeing these forks and/or potential forks because newbies just don't understand it at all and it scares them to invest in something that's so beyond their realm of understanding. It's not free money if you're paying a 30% premium on your coins because of fake hype lol!
384  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Peeled] When that Bcash looks too tempting to dump. on: November 12, 2017, 04:57:01 AM
Let's see what are they worth now. I'll offer a half millibit for them all. Grin hope the Bcash got you lots of real cold hard Bitcoin! Other people with poker chips are thanking you for increasing the value of theirs by a bit too. Thanks a handy payoff for everyone.
385  Economy / Speculation / Re: Am I late ? on: November 12, 2017, 04:54:29 AM
I'd hurry up and buy before we head straight back to that ATH. There's a little confusion to newbies because they won't be getting their "PHR33 M0N3Y" for segwit2x but that's fine. The heavily invested people are the early adopters anyway. No big deal. People are putting way too much value in these forks that are pure stinking garbage. When is that Bitcoin Gold wallet coming out??? LOL!
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'M GETTING REALLY ANGRY! WTF is happening with this BTC/BCH crap! on: November 12, 2017, 04:52:15 AM
Advice for a newb? Look at how Bitcoin Cash has always worked in the past. days of massive pumps and massive volume, huge price increases and everyone is so happy, the "NEW" "AMAZING" Bitcoin will sweep away the competition... Then the pumping stops. People run out of money. People start to sell off because they had been to lazy to bother colllecting their Bitcoin Cash and then there is a new all time low yet again. It's already done this at least twice from what I remember.
387  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin price come back up? on: November 12, 2017, 04:49:11 AM
What an amazing time to buy Bitcoin. I know I had a little fiat I was saving for this exact moment and I'm happy to increase my stack by 20% more than if we were sitting at the ATH. That's a win in my books! I don't understand why people complain about this fluctuation. It's great for me!
388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People talking about the REAL BITCOIN on: November 11, 2017, 04:02:09 AM
you are overthinking it OP. this is a pretty common thing with altcoin supporters (bag holders) to claim their altcoin is the real bitcoin or in other words their altcoin will replace bitcoin. if you look back at the topics created back in April till June you can see how many different altcoins were making the same claims and all of them were pumped like hell and then all have been getting dumped until today nonstop and without exception.

this is just a temporary BCH pump, try to enjoy it and add to your bitcoin stash before BCH bubble bursts and bitcoin comes back on track towards its ATH.

Yeah I just think it's funny because people are saying that the huge Bitcoin selloff was because people are running to BCH. What? Bitcoin lost more value than BCH is even worth haha so that's not true. There must have been a lot of fiat selloffs which are even worse for the crypto space. Why everyone always does this at the same time is beyond me. Anywho this belongs in *drum roll please* ALTCOIN DISCUSSION!
389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: password correct, but not working on: November 11, 2017, 03:57:38 AM
Did you check your keyboard layout? I had a huge issue one time when I encrypted my computer but I did it in a UK keyboard format and I was typing my password with a US keyboard format. It's just an idea. If you haven't changed settings this may not be it. Just see what keyboard you're on and see if it types the password out properly in an OpenLibre doc.
390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Truth behind JP Morgan's CEO comment about Bitcoin on: November 11, 2017, 03:55:20 AM
Who cares. The prices didn't drop because of some dumb CEO toddler whining about something that does his job than him. He's supposed to help people move money, invest money and Bitcoin does that all for free without him and 10x better. Of course he's going to be like a scared animal, piss of himself and get the claws out.
391  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [17-11-10]Japan’s Legalization of BTC Led to Rapid Surge in Mainstream Adoption on: November 11, 2017, 03:47:31 AM
Lol I love how they say that Japanese people are conservative with their investments then they go all in. Well that's the polar opposite so that makes no sense. Also not every person in one country has the same risk tolerance. That's a really ignorant quote. No one that's adverse to risk would go all in on an investment that jumps 900% in a year and drops 30% in a week. They'd throw up from the roller coaster ride.
392  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks offering only 1.3% interest rates for Savings Account on: November 11, 2017, 03:44:05 AM
I think the bank will pay you far less than a mortgage rate so they make money. That's really what it comes down to. Mortgage rates are low, so 1.3% is the most they'll do? What a useless meaningless number. It's worse than nothing because you're losing buying power. You've come to the right place to beat inflation.
393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am proud to be a part of the Bitcoin community. Long live CORE! on: November 11, 2017, 03:38:13 AM
Could you imagine the embarrassment if they went forward with SegWit2X and Bitcoin users started to lose coins with this whole Replay Protection fiasco? The anger and outrage would have ruined their reputation even more. Yes, they raised the white flag, but it was not to stop the war. They saw what the outcome of this might have been and they protected their own reputation.

You cannot gamble with a Billion Dollar project and other peoples wealth. The Core developers gets this and they will not put code out there that might harm the experiment. Just look at what happened with Bitcoin XT. ^hmmmmm^

Was it going to be implemented later or they just were really going to go ahead and fly without it in the hopes that they would become the main chain? That's just insanity. It would just prove how incompetent they really are.
394  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What happend with BTC? BTC is going down under 7000 USD. on: November 10, 2017, 03:56:22 AM
Ffs newbie you aren't losing money unless you're selling. Just HODL and at some point when you're 10x your initial investment none of the fluctuations will matter.

These are SUCH minor fluctuations they aren't worth writing about. You're really showing how green you are. "Omg guys a 7% dip should I sell??" Come on. Man up.
395  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-10] Bitcoin Over Stocks: Millennials Moving With Times on: November 10, 2017, 03:48:10 AM
Well I can see how this is absolutely true even though it was only a survey of 4000 people. I'm surprised how many women are actually getting into crypto now though. It's a little surprising but at the same time I guess it makes sense for everyone. It just happens to be a male dominated area. No big deal! The more the merrier!

I still don't know any friends that own Bitcoin (that I know of) so idk where this survery took place but not in my home town hahahah.
396  Economy / Reputation / Re: Lauda gives abusive negative trust on: November 10, 2017, 03:42:10 AM
Sounds like you were advertising something sketchy. Why would anyone trust that? If you asked to buy Bitcoin with PayPal and got neg bombed I'd consider that the same basic problem. You can't just advertise for a scam then expect everyone to go along with it. Hope the pay was worth it lol. Time to start a new account.

After a dumbass rant like this you'll never get rid of your neg trust.
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to invest bitcoin? on: November 10, 2017, 03:37:28 AM
The best thing you can do is just earn Bitcoin. This way you don't have to worry about losing anything because you never invested anything. So far so good for me. I invested some but nothing that I would cry about if Bitcoin went to 0, which we all know won't be happening any time soon.
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is a bitcoin wallet a savings account or a payment account? on: November 10, 2017, 03:35:54 AM
TL;DR IOTA shill. Buy IOTA.

When you increase 25x in price the fees are going to follow the same trend. It's naive to think they wouldn't. 150 Satoshis per byte really isn't massive. It's maybe 5-10x what is was a couple of years ago. I'd rather it be lower too but what are you going to do about it. Bitcoin is still king.
399  Economy / Speculation / Re: $50,000 Bitcoin In The Next Couple Of Months? on: November 10, 2017, 03:33:11 AM
10,000 in a couple of months but certainly not 50,000. There are going to be more corrections with this whole segwit2x cancellation then it's back on madness. Newbies are coming in by the boatload and they're going to be pissed when they lose 20% and cash out. Oh well. After that we'll get right back on track.
400  Economy / Services / Re: [BitBlender] Signature Campaign - Seniors and up (CFNP) on: November 05, 2017, 03:10:06 AM
I don't think there are any empty spots.

Yep, CFNP is closed for new participants. Not sure why people are still applying.

Any updates on payments? Been (nearly) a week.

The escrow address still has the ~0.01BTC in it. I'm assuming we will just be paid double tomorrow, but idk. I hope this campaign isn't ending. It's been great so far! Thanks BitBlender and Lutpin! You guys rock!
