1361  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Twitter Campaigns [Last update: 04-Feb-2017] on: February 04, 2017, 11:07:16 PM
Ah perfect I didn't know there was an overview of Twitter campaigns thread here. I'll be watching to see if anything worthwhile shows up!

Edit: duh, I didn't know about because it's brand new. Thanks for taking the initiative!
1362  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is signature campaign? And how can I earn btc by doing such stuff? on: February 04, 2017, 11:01:28 PM
Don't bother joining a signature campaign yet. As a newbie you don't know what you're talking about enough to make sensible posts and you will earn portions of pennies worth of bitcoins. Basically all it comes down to is don't post for the sake of posting, just a signature campaign to earn some bitcoins on the side when you already would have been posting either way.
1363  Economy / Digital goods / Re: $150 Saks Fifth Avenue giftcard & 100$ Amazon giftcard & I want 70% on: February 04, 2017, 10:59:21 PM
I'll save you the of trying to figure out what an escrow is. It's an independent third party who holds bitcoins from the buyer until the seller delivers the goods or services to them. Once the buyer confirms they received it the escrow is released and you get your funds. Don't trust just anyone on bitcointalk to handle your escrow. Check outthis list for people who have escrowed hundreds or thousands of bitcoins before.
1364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Corrupted wallet on: February 04, 2017, 03:54:37 AM
Be extremely careful if you're going to download anything to try and recover your coins. There are a ton of fake ones out there where the only purpose is to steal your coins.

Check out this: http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/43408/how-can-i-fix-corrupted-encrypted-wallet-dat
1365  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum STUCKED on: February 04, 2017, 03:50:35 AM
If you created private keys on a live mint USB then there is no way to recover said private keys unless you wrote them down or added them to another wallet. It sounds like you only added the advises as watch only addresses, meaning you didn't import your private keys, meaning the bitcoins are now lost.
1366  Economy / Services / Re: looking for a job on: February 04, 2017, 02:48:39 AM
Lol so are literally tens of thousands of people on this forum alone. You may want to add some of your skills and proof that you actually have said skills into the OP. And $5/hr? Why not go flip burgers omg!
1367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Let's talk about poker! on: February 04, 2017, 02:47:16 AM
Poker is a game of chance and skill. It's a game where you can have some strategy but in the end it's up to chance because you don't know what cards your opponent has. If you fold every hand then you didn't really gamble but if you don't fold very often you're a high risk gambler. If you sick at poker you could still come out on top as long as you fold whenever you have a crappy hand!
1368  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anonymity? on: February 04, 2017, 01:42:29 AM
There's anonymity if you earn monero or you buy it with cash etc. Once you have monero and make transactions they are anonymous from your first transaction so you wouldn't have to worry about someone "following the money" as easily as with bitcoins.
1369  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-02-03] Bitcoin Price $2000 Is Just Starter, Unless Compromise is Reached on: February 04, 2017, 01:38:17 AM
Lol the world's 2 biggest economies. USA absolutely hates being #2. They're just flipping out trying to catch up when they've fallen so far behind. Absolutely this will help the price of bitcoins! The USD is going to devalue and devalue even more Smiley it's great for us.
1370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 65214 Unconfirmed Transactions on: February 03, 2017, 11:32:51 PM
There are currently 65214 Unconfirmed Transactions on the Bitcoin network at time of posting.

What does that imply? Is this good? I have a transaction of 0.01 BTC that has been stuck for almost 24 hours despite a fee of $0.13. What has to change?

Your post means absolutely nothing. What the hell is $0.13 in terms of a fee? How many Satoshis per byte was the fee? If you had 100 inputs you'll be waiting a long time whereas if you had 1 or 2 you'll see a way faster transaction. Your fee based on the number of bitcoins means nothing. 1 input of 1000BTC will cost the exact same to send as 1 input of 0.01BTC. Next time look at the dynamic fee and choose accordingly.
1371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: TORCOIN on: February 03, 2017, 11:29:00 PM
Probably on the altcoin currency exchange Smiley hahaha. Definitely not where you posted this. I can't tell if this is advertising or if you just got a little lost but either way good luck with your shitcoin!
1372  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: 30 TB Google Drive accounts on: February 03, 2017, 11:26:47 PM
Nothing against that you are selling these kind of accounts but just want to notify users who buy this that one day their files can be accessed from someone else that you didn't expected.

Exactly. If you have random disposable crap that you need to store by the terabyte then go for it but otherwise this will never be worth it.

Also, why not just buy a .edu email and get an unlimited google drive account? I see people selling .edu emails for like a dollar here all the time.
1373  Economy / Speculation / Re: $200 is on the way on: February 03, 2017, 11:24:49 PM
Lol what the hell? If you said 600 or 700 I mean sure, it's most likely going to happen again but $200? God I wish! I'd buy up as many bitcoins as I could! It's not going to happen though.
1374  Other / Archival / Re: BitFortune.io – brand new bitcoin casino | Anonymous | Secure | Fresh on: February 03, 2017, 11:23:28 PM
You forgot one thing though, is it provably fair? If not you'll have a hard time finding people willing to gamble with their hard earned money on a site where you could literally set the code for you to win all the time or win on any bet over a certain threshold.
1375  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Warning xchangechina.com possible scam on: February 03, 2017, 11:21:36 PM
You didn't try the site then right? Was it a random user talking about the 20% above asking rate or was it a rep that works there? Do you have any evidence of the post that we could see? Any screen caps links or archives?
1376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ride a cab with bitcoin on: February 01, 2017, 04:14:59 PM
Now what if that cab driver lost his license 3 years ago due to too many DUI and/or DWIs. What if they decided to get coked up and they crash into a building with you inside? It's an unlicensed taxi. There's no insurance on their part. You and your family are completely screwed because you wanted to spend bitcoins and potentially save $10. Way to go.
1377  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: how using API Blocktrail on: February 01, 2017, 04:12:14 PM
I'd go right to the source and ask them on their thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=756279.0 I only use blocktrail as an Explorer and didn't even realize they had a wallet!
1378  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: How many confirmations does it take? SMH coinbase.... on: January 29, 2017, 04:14:58 AM
It's obviously just a bug. I've been seeing a lot more issues with coinbase lately so I'd suggest everyone stay way the hell away from them. Shit is going to hit the fan soon.
1379  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have about 50$ where to invest ? on: January 29, 2017, 04:13:12 AM
Lol you have $50 and want to earn 10% a day. You are so naive omg. Banks are paying out 1%/yr and you want 3650x that. Good luck. You'll be taking one hell of a risk with the fly by night ponzis you invest in. Maybe just work for it? Buy and sell things, you know?
1380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you remember the very first time you sent a Bitcoin transaction? on: January 29, 2017, 04:09:46 AM
I remember reading for hours and hours how it worked and sent myself a few cents. I was scared I was going to screw it up and lose the bitcoins I finally had figured out how to collect. Wasted some time in faucets just so I didn't have to invest anything. In hindsight I'd've just bought $10 worth and screwed around with them rather than wasting hours on faucets collecting portions of pennies at a time hahahahaha!
