1281  Economy / Economics / Re: Why a BTC/ETF is a dangerous thing. on: February 25, 2017, 11:11:31 PM
?? Huh? Banks are already in global markets. Do you know of any bank that isn't working in another country? It's bound to happen that bankers and wall St. types will want bitcoins to be available easily to the public and this is a way to do so. I'm never going to invest this way because it's basically a bitcoin bank hut that doesn't mean that bitcoins will fail or whatever you're trying to say. It's just going to increase the price because more people own bitcoins.
1282  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the timeframe to get in BTC in the event of ETF approval on: February 25, 2017, 11:02:45 PM
You mean Japanese exchanges lead the market right now, because they are providing fee free trading. But there is no telling who the traders are...

the free trading ends in a few days anyway so japan's 'dominance' is gonna be a very short lived thing.

Huh I thought that was the Chinese exchanges but now they all had to charge 0.2%? Or are Japanese exchanges pulling the same scheme?
1283  Economy / Economics / Re: Would a global disaster increase or decrease the Bitcoin value ? on: February 25, 2017, 07:28:12 PM
War would see an increase in bitcoins price but a natural disaster? I'm not sure. It depends how many places it affects since if it's just a small country or a few islands it wouldn't affect the price at all even if the people there had to spend all of their bitcoins.
1284  Economy / Speculation / Re: Get ready to buy on: February 25, 2017, 05:32:32 PM
The only time to buy three digits is coming after a huge dump when an exchange gets hacked or something like that so this is the only time to stock up. Get rid of that fiat, it's crashing!
1285  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: money on: February 25, 2017, 05:07:42 PM
As a newbie I wouldn't suggest a signature campaign as the pay would be horrible. You could offer a service or sell things on the goods / digital goods sections of the forum. They always seem to be busy. Other than that try a freelancing site like xbtfreelancer or something similar as this is just a forum.
1286  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can we have a list of casinos that made use of Cloudflare? on: February 25, 2017, 05:05:23 PM
Are you going to be adding it to the OP? Because I don't know how to find out who used Cloudflare or not. Could you add the sites that you've already changed your passwords to?
1287  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: i want to know more about campaign!! on: February 25, 2017, 02:57:36 PM
Well to start, don't bother joining one as a newbie or even Jr member. The pay is pennies and you might as well not bother. Also the only campaigns that accept newbies or Jr members have horrible reputations so you'll be lumped in as a spammer.

Next I'd say make sure you know what you're talking about with bitcoins first then worry about posting here for money. There are so many spammers trying to make a buck here so we really don't need another.
1288  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the timeframe to get in BTC in the event of ETF approval on: February 25, 2017, 02:53:44 PM
First of all, it's probably not going to happen but if it does it'll be at least a month but probably a few months. That's just based on other ETFs in the past though. The process may have been expedited now.
1289  Economy / Lending / Re: req loan of 1btc on: February 25, 2017, 02:50:34 PM
i dont really want to req a loan as im a newb and most people will probably think im a scammer but its kindof urgent and i wouldnt really ask if it wasnt. i usually dont use loans for bitcoin but im willing to put up both my okcoin and poloniex accounts under dokrafter as colateral which both currently have 3 bitcoins circulating in both if i cant pay up on time. im only wanting a small loan until my money transfer goes through within the next few days and im willing to pay 0.75 on to of that. my wallet is 13AoGwfiAdPfLK2aX9QqZV4XTEsYXJU6ki and ill appreciate it if someone could help me out pease
withdraw BTC from your respective accounts use that money to spend on whatever you wish to use your loan for, use the income to redeposit BTC back into your respective accounts, and send 0.5BTC to the address in my profile.

I just saved you 0.25BTC in interest. You're welcome.

Lol God damn your logic! How is he supposed to pull off this master scam now? This was so well thought out, I can't believe no one has sent anything yet.
1290  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Invest 10k - 20k on: February 25, 2017, 02:49:12 PM
I wouldn't be buying right now. There was a huge rise and there's probably going to be a correction. That's just my 2 cents.

The smartest thing to do would be to dollar cost average, buy a little every week and then you're taking less risk with the ups and downs of the price.
1291  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do i start an Escrow Service? on: February 25, 2017, 04:43:36 AM
Omg op don't. Just don't. If you have no reputation here there is no way anyone will use you as an escrow. If you get hundreds of trades under your belt a few years from now then maybe being an escrow will make sense. Why do people want to be escrows?  The pay and recognition is shit.
1292  Economy / Economics / Re: What would be effect of denial from ETF on: February 25, 2017, 04:40:10 AM
Lol these bullshit numbers of 26% 35% 25% and whatever else are hilarious. They're based on ... what? Random statistics that may not be relevant?

The actual affect if it's declined would be a sharp decline, a correction and we'll stay around the $1000 mark.

I happen to have a cracked copy of this(will be a zip file). Let me know your price and I will probably let you have it for almost any price you name.

Anyone can get a cracked key easily. Clearly he's looking for a legit copy here. Keep your cracked illegal garbage to yourself.
1294  Economy / Speculation / Re: THE DUMP on: February 25, 2017, 04:34:05 AM
Just kiding guys Smiley

Currently celebrating ATH.  Cheers.

Lol what the fuck is going on? Why make this thread? Just to get some reactions out of people? See where the market was going to go? I don't see a crash happening, I truly don't. We had a tiny correction but it's holding very steady. No issues with staying over $1000 let alone $1100.
1295  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Transaction rejected by our node. on: February 25, 2017, 03:56:07 AM
First thing's first, could you post the transaction ID so we can have a look at it? That will remove the need for any assumptions and wrong information.
1296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have stopped introducing bitcoin to others! on: February 25, 2017, 12:01:18 AM
Lol I get it OP but here's what you need to say to them: 95% of the population keep balances on credit cards. Those 95% are not using a free credit card. They're actually paying 2% or 3% a month on their balance (29.99% APR is horrible). Also, people pay a monthly fee for bank accounts in Canada so I'm assuming most cou tries have that too. I do know some cou tries have free banking though. Well technically if you want an online only bank they're available in Canada too for free. Either way there are going to be transaction fees because transactions use energy which costs someone money. If you aren't being charged transaction fees it's because you're getting fucked on a higher interest rate mortgage or something like that. Bitcoins let you get ahead, they're the wave of the future and they don't lose 2-3% of their value every single year, year over year until it's a worthless piece of shit.
1297  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Is anyone interested in this piece of history? Block Erupter on: February 24, 2017, 11:56:51 PM
Lol yeah they're pretty useless to mine (lottery mining would be your only option). That's pretty cool to see though. These were way before my time. How much are you looking to sell them for? Where are you located?
1298  Economy / Gambling / Re: ***WARNING*** PLEASE DO NOT BET ON BETONLINE.AG on: February 24, 2017, 11:55:22 PM
what is betonline.AG, iam first hear about betonline.AG, where link announcement thread in bitcointalk
or you mean betcoin.AG
and why youre not recomended, you any problem withdraw in there

Betonline.ag and Betcoin.ag are 2 totally different companies.  Betcoin.ag offers the highest rakeback in all of online poker when you sign up with BetcoinRakeback.com while Betonline.ag doesn't have any affiliates that offer extra rakeback.

Lol but both are clearly scams. Look at this fool still promoting them, he's obviously making a buck off of it or he'd have been gone a long time ago. Careful everyone. Trust no one.
1299  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DavidXXXX (UID = 875854) scammer on: February 24, 2017, 06:42:42 PM
Can you elaborate on it? Is it a forum policy not to get involved or something?
The forum policy dictates that the staff does not get involved with scammers. In other words, they will not ban someone for scamming.

Many people are confirmed scammers with hard proofs and they keep scamming new members.
That's why the trust system exists. You should have checked the user's rating and avoided trading with them after seeing the red from me.

Yup it's like any other feedback system in the world. If you use it properly you'll avoid scams. We've known this guy was an obvious scammer for a long time. Always check the trusted feedback AND the untrusted feedback.
1300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I failed to make a fortune as an early bitcoin adopter? on: February 24, 2017, 02:47:25 AM
Is pre $100 considered an early adopters then? I'm not sure what the consensus is on the time frame. Either way I don't think I'll be lumped into that category because I started using bitcoins in 2015.

I think it's pretty sad that a lot of early adopters didn't invest much or got scammed out of their coins. Reading about bitcoins before I used them helped me a lot but that was probably because I read up on what others had done wrong in the past. I'd suggest that to anyone getting into bitcoins now.
