1321  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: New scammer is Here ( Mixan ) on: February 17, 2017, 06:59:50 PM
Looks like Mixan ran out of crack temporarily and had a moment of clarity.

Right back on it and back to the insanity though  Grin

Rofl-snort holy shit. I think he's comes off the bender now and part of his NA steps would be of course to apologize to those that he's hurt. Good thing he came back. I seriously thought he fucking lost his mind.
1322  Economy / Economics / Re: What if? Just asking opinion on: February 17, 2017, 06:55:30 PM
Power outages? People would use generators. Bitcoins would skyrocket in price because certain fiats would be worthless. So it's all relative. Your bitcoins won't be able to buy you more but they'll be worth 100,000 USD. That's what I see happening. With trump in office this is inevitable so we'll have our answer in the next few months.
1323  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HaoBTC? on: February 17, 2017, 06:52:36 PM
This is the opposite of what bitcoins are for. I wouldn't trust someone else to hold onto my coins for a small amount of interest because I know they're using it to make money. If they aren't making money then clearly your funds will be stolen later on.
1324  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [Autobuy] Yogurtland Gift Cards CHEAP!!! on: February 17, 2017, 06:48:21 PM
Do you accept escrow rather than your autobuy link? They don't always work the way they're supposed to if you know what I mean...
1325  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at $1050.. China "inspection" has to be coming. on: February 17, 2017, 06:46:18 PM
I couldn't see it  on a weekend. When it does come out though there will be a significant dip. There was obviously so much manipulation but we all knew that from the start.
1326  Economy / Speculation / Re: Spectacular bitcoin performance. on: February 17, 2017, 03:34:10 AM
Bitcoins clearly wait for no one. The great thing with a global currency is all of the good and the bad affects the price of bitcoins but it's all at the exact same time. When the price is going up like it currently is there are more investors or more people paying more into bitcoins then those selling or leaving. It's not all about China folks!
1327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a chance Satoshi is dead? Car accident, heart failure, ect on: February 11, 2017, 05:09:39 PM
Wtf I'm not dead? I mean, satoshi isn't dead. He's probably just busy with a new project that he can't discuss on the forum because it's totally top secret etc. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Move along folks, nothing to see here.
1328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Adam Back thinks he is the inventor of Bitcoin on: February 11, 2017, 04:56:11 PM
It looks like he's just claiming he gave the groundwork for bitcoins but isn't claiming to be the inventor of bitcoins. Idk, he's entitled to his own opinion but obviously I don't think it's true at all. Just because you kind of had a half baked idea doesn't mean bitcoins are your idea to begin with. He's probably just pissed that bitcoins took off and his project never even made it to beta or never worked out.
1329  Economy / Auctions / Re: Auction of 10 000 mrai on: February 11, 2017, 04:28:33 PM
Try the altcoin section since you're selling altcoins. This obviously isn't at all where this thread should be.
1330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New casino vs old and trusted one on: February 11, 2017, 04:26:49 PM
Lol obviously advertising will help get people in. What a stupid question. This is obviously just a lame attempt to advertise your signature. You aren't the most subtle person in the world.
1331  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Need your suggestion, may start a BTC lending service on: February 11, 2017, 03:49:50 PM
I don't see the point of a cosigner or guarantor because it could just be an alt. If someone is trusted in the bitcointalk community you'll know it and not have to worry about a vouch or cosign from someone else trusted. Also, you always run the risk of having the account tagged because they defaulted on a loan so that's another issue you'll need to worry about.
1332  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I want some sign up related tasks on: February 11, 2017, 03:28:54 PM
You just have to look under the services section. Other than that there are micro earning sites but you'll have to do your research. Sorry I can't hold your hand on this one lol.
1333  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Ghost transaction after moving funds on: February 11, 2017, 03:40:49 AM
Thanks, but my question is why the 9.95 was sent in the first place. I only authorised a payment of 0.04 btc between two addresses.

Edit: I found the 9.95 I sent to myself. Apparently it's now in a ''change address''. Bit confusing, but I'll not even try to bother understand. Case closed!

When you send bitcoins your funds are split up into the address you're sending the funds to and the rest go to your change address. This way you don't keep using the same address over and over again and you don't have to pay a fee to move them to a new address which is what bitcoin protocol wants you to do.

If you are sending 0.04, have 9.95 left and a 0.01 fee then the 9.95 will go into a new change address if you are using an HD wallet. If you're using a single wallet essentially what you're doing is giving someone a 10 bitcoin bill, it only costs a nickel so you get the 9.95 back.
1334  Economy / Speculation / Re: Charts: How an ETF Approval Could Impact Bitcoin's Price on: February 11, 2017, 03:38:18 AM
$300million added to the current value would be a small single digit increase. But the price will go much higher, more like 30% then there will be a huge correction. This is only assuming the ETF takes off of course.
1335  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to buy back up! on: February 11, 2017, 02:25:27 AM
Well we've been fairly steady the past 48h or so. I mean a couple $40 jumps here and there but we ended up back where we started. It seems to be calling back down around $1300CAD idk what that is US, almost $1000?
1336  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Entrepreneurial Opportunity on: February 11, 2017, 02:15:24 AM
Small Update:

In addition, I will set aside at least four suitable plots for individuals with aerial drones capable of defending and harvesting less than 100 acres.  To be clear, this is just for drones -- not people.  Must contact me by March 2nd.

Have you got any pictures?

Google Maps

I mean can you verify it's yours - such as a crop circle in the form of a QR code using a Bitcoin address you can sign a message with... or a general warranty deed.

We're definitely not looking for the latter. Deeds mean nothing on bitcointalk. It's all about the QR code crop circles!
1337  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or zcash? on: February 10, 2017, 11:22:54 PM
Shitcoin after shitcoin will come and go but a few will actually solve some issues people have with bitcoin, namely the anonymity. There are lots of other currencies that are anonymous so I don't see why you're focused on zcash, unless this is just a poor attempt to advertise it.
1338  Economy / Economics / Re: Better adoption through use of mBTC on: February 10, 2017, 07:47:08 PM
I think if you can't do a simple google then you're probably too stupid to use bitcoins. If you really can't figure out that bitcoins can be broken down to 8 decimal places can you really secure a wallet properly? Can you really send a transaction? Do you even know how a computer works?

Go ahead and use mBTC. No one is stopping you. Let me know how many people you convert solely based on  the denomination of bitcoins you talk about.

Btw, in the metric system the base unit is a meter. How the fuck am I supposed to buy screws if they're all a meter long!?!?!? Bad logic. Anyone with that logic needs to be sterilized hahahaha.

Also, the gambling community always uses mBTC to make pots seem bigger than they are. Should they use Satoshis!? Holy shit 1 billion Satoshis!?!?!? Oh that's not actually a big pot at all... Huh... now I hate bitcoins. They aren't worth much. 1billion Satoshis can't buy me much at all.

It's not that people can't or won't understand these things, it's the fact that it's a psychological deterrent to them using bitcoin.  I believe it will come, but I'm just saying making it more appealing will increase the speed at which the masses adopt it.

I know many of you "hardcores" don't care if the masses adopt, the fact is that if only people that really understood the nuts and bolts of bitcoin were the only ones that used it, you'd still be spending 10,000 of them for a couple pizzas.

You have to have some basic knowledge or you'll be posting stupid crap on here constantly. "Why isn't my transaction confirming!?" Because your fee was too low... ugh... here we go again...

Mass adoption won't be coming from talking in different denominations. That's what it comes down to.
1339  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Obtaining a HOME MORTGAGE with Bitcoin Users on: February 10, 2017, 07:30:57 PM
Lots of companies can look at your income and make an exception if it's not the usual paystub and a tax return kind of job. Income is income so if it's included on a tax return it's income. I don't see how you feel your business has any competitive edge here rather than targeting bitcoin users. Why not just go to a mortgage broker and find a private lender?
1340  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [Suspicious link removed].bid for sale! on: February 10, 2017, 05:33:58 PM
Lol the link was removed. Is it a short domain? A good name? Your trust on bitcointalk is awful so I'm assuming you'll accept escrow...?
