Günther Steiner released an interview and he basically said if he will come back in F1 he will be in a better team
He doesn't want to be back in a small team but he want something big.
And what team was he referring to? Top teams are Red Bull, Ferrari and Mercedes. Midtable teams which I guess could be considered somewhat big are McLaren, Aston Martin and Alpine..? I guess Alpine is the smallest one among the midtable teams and it's a fringe big team. And there's the rest of the bunch Williams, Alpha Tauri, Alfa Romero and Haas. So, which team do you think will he go next? And isn't there gonna be a couple more teams on 2026? There's Audi and Andretti's team. Maybe Steiner is gunning for one of them...

^ Not denying it's going to be a sad event in football if found guilty. And yup, I've already said that Guardiola was the one questioning the club when the shenanigans hit the news. It's some posts above...
I think there was a time when Guardiola almost called it quits with Man City but then the top brass prolly talked to him and assured him that their loophole was tight. Lmao. Guardiola went on to have a press conference a week later and said he wasn't leaving and that he still supports the club.

Here's a replay of the UFC's '2024 Season Press Conference' in case some of you don't know how exciting the main event is. And there are vids all over YT showing how Strickland and DDP got into a brawl in UFC 296. It was funny... ^ Pretty sure all wallets that haven't reached some level of volume will be out... Some that have could be checked if they're active enough in other aspects like staking STG and LP'ing in Stargate which is Layer Zero's baby. The devs at Layer Zero Labs built it afaik.
But yeah, I think I have all my bases covered now. Got the volume, the staking and the LP down. All I could do now is wait and hope for the best.

The gamble paid off and Guardiola not only brought success but he also brought his own brand of football which many clubs try to emulate today. Guardiola definitely brought his attacking and possession based football brand to the Premier League, that cannot be denied. How much of that success was because Manchester City cheated by breaking fair play rules on 115 occasions? Yeah it's sad that City resorted to some accounting and legal loop holes and playing around the rules of UEFA to get more money funneled into Man City. But that's besides the point. What I was talking about was Guardiola's relationship and history with City CEO Ferran Soriano and their director of football Txiki. Guardiola has 100% support from those two that even if he falters, he won't be given the sack. Not like the culture in other clubs when the manager is the expendable one.

So who do you guys got for the main event for 297? As Strickland likes to pressure his opponents and DDP is like this immovable object, I think it's going to be somewhat like a car crash of a fight with DDP emerging and getting the W. He's just way too strong which makes up for his lack of skill. Not saying he's not a good fighter but compared to Strickland, DDP has less skill... My pick will be DDP. I think he KO's strickland before R3. :/ Here's a couple of their latest fights. Enjoy. ^ Hey libert19... As I was staking TIA, ATOM and OSMO to increase my chances for eligibility for future Cosmos based projects' airdrops, Layer Zero's airdrop and staking STG got me thinking. Do you think that it's already too late to stake STG? Like do you think the Layer Zero devs have already made the snapshot by now?
Not sure why I didn't do it last year. :/ It's taking things for granted and laziness that get the better of me again. Lol.
Anyway yeah... Hope I'm not too late as I just staked STG just now.
Imo, unless the team has explicitly confirmed that a snapshot has been taken (like Starknet did) , everything is pretty much in the wild. I staked STG a long time again but I started providing liquidity on Stargate just today. Layerzero announced that the TGE launch and distribution is happening in the first part of 2024. We are still 5 months away from the first half so anything is still possible. It's better to fulfill all righteousness and do the needful than to assume. Good call! I'll LP some tokens in the protocol as it could help with increasing the chance for eligibility... Sigh, so yeah I think I got everything covered. I used bridges, mostly Stargate Finance, and have more than 10k USD of volume, staked STG and I will have a stake in their LP. All we could do now is cross our fingers and hope for the best! GL everybody. May we get some replenishments and live another day to be degens.

They got Adrian Newey to thank for that. Without him, I don't think Red Bull would have a dominant team even if they have Horner and his team of race strategists. And as Newey is getting up there in age, he could retire anytime now like he was hinting some years back to start his company making boats.
So the question prolly is who replaces him and does he have a protege ready to take his place and continue car development for the team. Dan Fallows who is a known Newey protege is working with Aston Martin. :/
Adrian Newey is an amazing engineer for real. His designs have always been admired by people and RB19 is the best one ever. People were curious about whether he was going to leave Red Bull as he was in his last year of his contract in 2023. But he removed the question marks from people's minds by extending his contract for longer years. In case he left the team Mattia Binotto was the most speculated person to fill his place at Red Bull. Maybe not as much as Newey but Mattia Binotto is also a pretty good engineer. Aesthetically I think RB19 is considered to be one of the best looking cars in the history of Formula 1. But mostly throughout the years Ferrari and McLaren cars have had the best looking ones. Was Binotto really the most likely person to replace Newey at one point? I think they're just rumors at best. Red Bull could already have one earmarked among their ranks as a replacement... What I could tell you tho is Ferrari wanted Horner as Binotto's replacement as team principal at Ferrari. Horner turned them down.

Here are the results of the event. It was decent with 7 matches finishing inside the distance. The main event was no surprise. ^ But keep in mind that Guardiola's position at City is a special case. So we couldn't really compare him to any other manager in football...
City... When the oilers took over, they had hired Ferran Soriano as their CEO and Txiki as their director of football. Both these guys were in Barca's top brass when they took the risk on making an untested B team manager in Guardiola to hold the reigns of one of the biggest clubs in Europe. The gamble paid off and Guardiola not only brought success but he also brought his own brand of football which many clubs try to emulate today.
So there's history behind these guys and full support from the club. The funny thing is it's Guardiola who's in question if he supports the club in the middle of all the shenanigans.

And, as we talk about chins, founds some nice table. Feel free to discuss. Among the class chins, does Whittaker really count? He has been finished in the past but I don't think he counts as one of those guys who has glass chins... And Ian Garry right there in the same tier as Overeem? :/ There are guys who I think should be higher and some guy a tad lower. Anyway, here are the weigh in vids and the results. Kape missed weight by 3.5 lbs and the match was cancelled. Wtf is the guy doing? He's fcking up. Winning this match would've taken him to the title next. ^ Yup, I just got mine up before it closed... The picks go around two weekends as there's only a few EPL matches this weekend and the next weekend. Not sure why that is as I don't see any cup games scheduled for both weekends. Prolly a much needed break as given by the FA. The EPL has the most hectic schedule during the holidays among the top leagues in Europe.
Anyway, my picks are Palmer, Foden, Watkins, Garnacho, Saka, Lewis Potter and Joao Pedro. Leeezzz gooo and good luck to all your picks!
And I think Foden is a much safer pick for the City vs NUFC match imho.
Edit: Palmer penalty.

^ DYM is still just a tad over 4 bucks in perp exchange Aevo. I think 10 bucks to start is way overboard as we already know a lot of guys can't wait to sell their airdrops down at the slightest hint of a pump. Hope it opens officially around 2 bucks tho then go side ways like what TIA did. The whole market does look like it can't get any higher at the moment. And there's another possible airdrop called Berachain. It's an EVM compatible L1 built on Cosmos SDK. So TIA stakers would prolly get airdrops. Hopefully... Lol.

2023 season was like Verstappen's career-high season. Like in the image above he also joined among the drivers who completed every lap in a season. But the last season was really like a dream for Verstappen as I don't remember any bigger domination than this in F1 history. It is like he nearly won all the races in this season. The consistency of finishing every lap is another amazing work. If you remember 2022 Red Bull car had some serious problems at the beginning of the season. But they really learned their lesson from that to come back stronger to 2023 season. They got Adrian Newey to thank for that. Without him, I don't think Red Bull would have a dominant team even if they have Horner and his team of race strategists. And as Newey is getting up there in age, he could retire anytime now like he was hinting some years back to start his company making boats. Walker has so much potential, but I feel he leaves his chin too open to be able to compete against the best of the best. If it wasn't for his wild style, which he has turned down a little bit in recent fights, he would probably be doing a little better against them. However, that turns down the entertainment factor, which is one of the reasons he's so popular. I thought the last stoppage was wrong, and might have actually been down to Walker not understanding the question or making a joke at probably the wrong time. However, that's walker for you. I'm really hoping he does well in this fight, but I'm worried about his open style compromising his chances. Since, he definitely does have a chance to win this.
Walker is good but he lacks the durability. The guys looks funny when a fist grazes his chin as he looks like he's on his way to get slept but as soon as his head hits the ground he suddenly recovers and wakes up. Lolol. I think it happened at the fight vs Ryan Spann. Anyway, official weigh ins start in around 4 hours. Can't wait to see these guys. It feels like the UFC was gone for more than a couple of months. :/ UFC Fight Night: Ankalaev vs Walker Official Weigh Inhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXwHQOq1I8U

Even after Ngannou's showing vs Fury the books line him at 4.20, via KO at 5.60 and vs decision at 16. I think the latter has a lot of value in it. Ngannou has the cardio to go all through the end in a boxing match as seen vs Fury. But the question is how does Joshua take a punch from Ngannou? Will he be able to stand up and soldier on til the end? I really have no idea.
We all know Ngannou's chin could take a punch and he could prolly take Joshua's powerrr. :/
There's always a value on it, IMO, he is quite an underrated boxer, and since his record is still 0, I thinkt he odds are just fair. But we aren't line makers, and line makers based their odds on a lot of factor, so if we believe that Ngannou should have win in his previous fight, I think this time he can prove himself if he really win against a boxer that is lower than Fury in terms of ranking. Personally, I would take a 5.60 via KO, as I think AJ is not as durable as Fury. As Joshua has a lot of fight time in the ring, I think he could make the match last longer and go to a decision than go fight toe to toe vs Ngannou which would def by a bad proposition for Joshua. I might go for Ngannou via dec at 16. And it'sgonna go higher as the build up to the even intensifies. Omg it's gonna be a so good... Fresh off the heels of Ngannou's great performance vs Fury. I think 5.60 via KO doesn't have that much value. I'd rather take it straight at 4.20. Not a big difference.

^ True, but Arterta turned out to be a decent manager who had something in mind for a rebuild in Arsenal. Now... Compare it to Chelsea's Frank Lampard, if he was 'given time', there'll be Lampard out all over Stamford Bridge, supporters would be disgusted and walk out during lacklustre performances, players start complaining and overall ticket sales would eventually go down. And that's when the top brass start considering giving their manager the sack as it's the easiest thing they could do.
If the club decides to stick with their manager, it's gonna be expensive like what City is doing with Guardiola. Every mistake Guardiola did in the transfer market was met with getting rid of the player after a season or two and replaced by another player. Don't think Chelsea wants to do the same thing with Poch. But I could be wrong.

The UFC's YT channel uploaded the first match up between Ankalaev and Walker which happened just a couple of months ago or so. These guys were lined at dead evens before this match happened and just seeing around three minutes between these guys, it showed that Ankalaev has the strength advantage. If he didn't throw those illegal blows, it's safe to say that he would've had the advantage going into R2 and would've won the fight. UFC Free Fight: Ankalaev vs Walker 1https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6npgX4OEC8IAnyway, if I could do my picks at the Multi Master again, I'd take another shot with another underdog in Gaston Bolanos... McGhee is so so. After Watching it again, it was a clear misunderstanding, but the real issue here was it could have been prevented if Magomedov Ankalaev hadn't thrown that illegal knee that led to the stoppage and cut to Johnny Walker's cut, that fight had been a translator for both fighters that can not understand English clearly Johnny Walker isn't aware that the fight is already finished, even Ankalaev don't want that result and was upset even though it was his fault in the 1st place, but here is the real culprit the doctor that checked Johnny Walker if he is OK. Yup, when I watched it live, I really thought Walker was out of it but watching it again with the replay, dunno... I feel like he knew what he was doing and the fight should've been continued. The pick is Ankalaev but do you really wanna bet on him at 1.19 knowing that Walker has the explosiveness and the KO power to get anybody out of there as long as the clock is running? There are better spots in this event for favorites imho.
