401  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you do during blood waves? on: March 07, 2018, 07:12:53 PM
I prefer to not take any risks during dumps, so I stop and wait the market rise again. Some people like to sell during dumps to buy again when the prices hit the floor, but we never know exactly when we reach the floor, maybe you are selling your coins and the price won't drop anymore, that is the floor. Then you have a loss... For me when a dump happens it's time to hold and wait.
402  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin helpful to the economy? on: March 07, 2018, 06:51:42 PM
Gradually my economy has gradually improved since I joined bitcoin. I do not know if this is the result I get after taking pains, or is it just the beginning? Economic improvement can be where anywhere in bitcoin. When work in my country is very difficult maybe this can be an alternative for those who have not worked.
This will effect to he people of those countries where there is no democracy and the governments are not having the firm grips on the economy of the country. There are countries where the rate of inflation is high, so the people have no other option than to save the money in some better currency. Preciously they use to do it in dollars or Pounds but now they have another better option for their savings which will give back a lot more than it promises.

I think on the practice these people are the most benefited by Bitcoin. They really need the digital currency to store value and save money, otherwise they would need to spend the money in fiat on the moment they receive it to avoid the fast depreciation. It's not a solution for their countries and the respective economies, but a solution for their personal financial lives. It gives them a chance to organize their lives and to choose what to do with the money saved.
403  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this the end for bitcoins ? on: March 07, 2018, 06:13:39 PM
I see this is very contrary to the fact that even I have also read some articles about the predictions of bitcoin in the future which is written by some experts in financial terms that they say bitcoin will have a very significant price increase this year. this is due to the popularity possessed by bitcoin increasingly known by investors around the world. so I think this is not the end of bitcoin because bitcoin is still in an adaptation that will continue to have a fairly high price value. so personally I disagree with what you say that at the moment that bitcoin will end in the present.

I too disagree with the mississippi bubble thing. Bitcoin is a bit risky and price have decreased really great this year. But comparing it to last year's same month it is a bit of improvement. Imagine the price of bitcoin at the end of this month?
It is not yet the end of bitcoin, it will fluctuate surely as more people will sell and more forks will happen and more news that will suppress it will come but it will never stay on that position. It will soon rise again.

What these "experts" contrary to Bitcoin say really doesn't make sense as BTC is constantly fluctuating more positively than negatively. And even on its worse moment, in 2013, if I'm not mistaken, Bitcoin showed a powerful recovery that many people didn't expect. Bitcoin have already passed for worse situations and overcame all of them, so why to fear some relatively stagnation season now? Bitcoin will overcome more this obstacle.
404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the digital dollar on: March 07, 2018, 12:35:49 AM
We can say that bitcoin is digital dollar. In Fiat the dollar is the center of all currencies and in Digital Currencies centers all digital currencies in bitcoin. The only difference between bitcoin in the dollar is price of bitcoin rapidly  rising and drops unlike the dollar that prices have dropped slightly.

#Datarius

Thinking this way, it makes sense... Bitcoin is for Crypto-Currency what Dollar is for traditional markets. Bitcoin rules Crypto-Currency world and Dollar rules the world. But there are many other differences between Bitcoin and Dollar: volatility as you said, decentralization, limited supply, technology...
405  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrencies and our daily life on: March 07, 2018, 12:06:20 AM
When we will use cryptocurrencies ofr our everyday life?
Cryptocurrency in daily life is happening already in some markets today if there are exchanges, stores or merchants who can be located on your place or country then it's applicable to you.
You can watch these sample videos
I lived on bitcoin for 24 hours
SURVIVING ONLY USING BITCOIN FOR 24 HOURS (Does it work?)

These are some good promotional videos, but these people can't live only spending Bitcoins on their daily life for all their needs. Some stores and services may accept it, but most don't, especially at third world countries.

Anyway these videos help people to open their minds about Bitcoin, especially businessmen, what helps Bitcoin's popularity and adoption a lot.
406  Other / Off-topic / Re: How would you explain terrorism to a child? on: March 06, 2018, 10:34:23 PM
I have come across watching Ms. Universe 2017 a while ago and have stumbled upon this question. Terrorism is rampant and a hot topic when it come to news and other media, being an elder or a parent, how would you exolain terrorism to a child?
I would explain to the child about terrorism on the example of real situations. To be told how to behave if caught in such a situation.

Yes, that is a good idea. Children need to know what to do in emergency situations, we can't alienate their minds from the evil that exist in the world and at same time we can't put so many negative concepts on their minds that can disturb them. There is a correct methodology to talk to children about it.

When we talk to adults or youngs about the subject it's different, we can be more incisive.
407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which banks are bitcoin friendly? on: March 06, 2018, 09:58:37 PM
It's a very personal question that will vary from country to country. I'm sure most banks and all mainstream banks aren't Crypto friendly. Many people have already had issues with banks on their countries when trying to buy or sell Bitcoins and some exchanges as well.

However, there are some relatively new banks appearing, again it varies from country to country, but it would be a good idea to check on your country all the banks options, not only the main ones. Maybe one of these new banks can be Bitcoin friendly and even suggested by a local exchange.
408  Economy / Economics / Re: Private Coins from banks and governments on: March 06, 2018, 09:35:30 PM
Banks have already started trying to implement "blockchain technology" into their current system. I think that they are trying to lure people who have heard about cryptocurrencies but they are not into more technical things. We can't really prevent it, can someone enlighten me why would they replace their system with something that won't change much for them and will only generate huge costs? The rich might try to create their own coin without any distinguishing features, pump it and then sell it.

Crypto-Currency is unstoppable, or the old system joins it or they are over. So that is what these guys are trying to do, joining Crypto-Currency, learning Blockchain technology and developing their own projects (centralized ones). For them it's a survival game.

Some people say they make people exchange their Bitcoins into centralized digital currencies, then these big guys use the profit received to buy Bitcoins and hold. This way they are accumulating Bitcoins on long term, while the fools exchange all their coins into centralized digital currencies. The goal is to have enough Bitcoins on their hands to be able to heavily influence the market. Though that is just a theory.
409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Walk of Shame on: March 06, 2018, 08:43:08 PM
I have only heared stories about people who were involved in such situations. During the game they were very excited, since the beginning of the gambling session they were winning a lot and enjoying the prizes, but at some point they started losing money, but didn't lose the confidence and kept playing, hoping to recover the losses and exit the house with some profit, but it didn't happen and I think everyone knows what happened next, similar to what OP described.
410  Economy / Economics / Re: Thank you Bitcoins . on: March 06, 2018, 07:19:27 PM
That is one of the main Bitcoin's points: To nuke bureaucracy, helping each individual to have more accessibility to different kinds of goods and services, connecting people from different parts of the world and allowing them to make deals among themselves without the need of third-party services, middlemen.

Sadly this Bitcoin's advantage is going to be neutralized by many governments politics, in many cases with the approval of Bitcoin's enthusiasts.
411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will be Bitcoin centralized ? on: March 06, 2018, 06:00:38 PM
as per governments view, they never accept decentralized bitcoin. the major reason is they unable to track the sender and receiver. smuggling and black money can send anywhere without third party knowledge.

so do you all think bitcoin can be centralized ? can be do ?

Actually, they are able to track sellers and buyers, but it's necessay some investigation effort to do this, so governments find more convenient to ask you to  make the process easier by showing yourself, your personal informations when dealing with Crypto-Currency and at same time giving them a piece of your profit, and if you ask why, the answer is because they can order it...

Ironic how the governments want to make the process easier for them, not being necessary to track enthuasiasts as they will show themselves, but asking for more money back. So governments have less service to do, but want more money on their pockets.  Cheesy
412  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: New Faucet 100% referral commission on: March 06, 2018, 05:38:10 PM
Are you using Adsense? If so, I think it would be better to add another kinds of ads because Adsense is very treacherous and usually bans its users right before the payment date... But the faucet is fine, it's not intrusive, loads fast and the reward is fine every 10 minutes.
413  Economy / Economics / Re: Trump says U.S. to impose tariffs on steel, aluminum imports on: March 05, 2018, 11:25:09 PM
Trump made a lot of dumb promises to a lot of people who don't understand that you don't get anything for free, and the rest of the country is going to pay the price for him trying to keep those promises. The price of the steel tariffs will touch far more people in a negative way than the steel tariffs help end up helping in a positive way.

Wasn't Obama who did this promising free healthcare for everyone?

Trump is being strategical, he wants to strengthen the national industry and decrease other countries influence over USA, especially China.
I can't say if it will work or not, but I think it's too early to have sure that it will fail...

Most countries threatening retaliatory tariffs war against USA can't do this for real, because they need USA more than USA needs them!
414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you play online casino? if Yes... on: March 05, 2018, 09:33:51 PM
People who plays at Crypto casinos nowadays didn't have access to casinos before because their countries banned this activity or because they don't have a casino near their houses/cities to play.

Those who still play at traditional casinos are used to do it since a long time ago, and old habits are hard to change.
If they are satisfied with the old fiat casinos there isn't much Crypto ones can do to grab their attention.

Changes happen from the insatisfaction feeling, so the point is to find if these traditonal gamblers are insatisfied and if so, why they are.
Then we can find an answer to this question.
415  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: earnings in the phone, is it possible to earn money on the phone without investm on: March 05, 2018, 08:27:26 PM
I downloaded an app on the cellphone once to earn satoshis and it put an undesirable extension on my mobile, like a malware. I also noticed it became laggy, slower than normal. Personally I think it's not a good idea to download these apps. On the computer/laptop we have the advantage we don't need to download anything and a good antivirus blocks if not all, almost all threats.

However, I don't know about other's experiences while earning money on mobiles.
416  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there a microchip implant in your country? on: March 05, 2018, 07:54:21 PM
There are many apparent advantages, but on the other hand you will be being tracked 24/7. If you value your privacy it won't be good and acceptable. There could be someone good monitoring the chips, someone who won't use this 'advantage' to harm the monitored ones, but if someday it changes and an evil person start monitoring it?
417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting in bitcoin is legal or illegal? on: March 05, 2018, 07:08:51 PM
It depends on which country you are speaking, in many countries bitcoin is itself an illegal so betting on bitcoin also becomes an illegal activity. But in few place bitcoin is legal so then no question illegal there can easily play betting activity without any hesitation.
I may not know about those countries that consider bitcoin as illegal but I am pretty sure that there are more countries who
are open for the development and they accepted bitcoin although not yet regulating it.
Our best chance for bitcoin to continue to exist is when it will be regulated which I think we will be there soon.

And you know that anything online would be hard to illegalize since there are so many ways to run around firewalls by governments. Online betting sites for btc can be accessed pretty much anywhere by anyone. So probably as long as thr country isn't against regular gambling, btc gambling would be legal

No country announced officially that they allowed people to do online gambling with BTC. both are illegal but nobody can restrict these sites suppose if they restrict also people can use VPN and they get access to any websites. So if the country against regular gambling also people can freely play online gambling with BTC.

To track Bitcoin's gamblers, the countries must put some effort on it and I think they aren't really motivated to do this for now. It's too much effort for low results, so people are safe to keep gambling online with Crypto-Currency. Anyway, it's a ridiculous rule to try forbidding people to gamble either with Bitcoin or fiat.
418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you still looking for best gambling site that suits your luck on: March 05, 2018, 05:57:27 PM
Well, it's clear the thread's title doesn't have much to do with the thread itself as OP just want to ask for referrals in a different way. But I believe many gamblers are always opened for the possibility to find the best gambling site that suits not their luck, but their expectatives. Maybe a new casino can appears and offer nice advantages for players, different promotions, bonuses, features. But about luck all you can do is to find the lowest house edge casino to minimize your losses...
419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to mine or buy Bitcoin? on: March 05, 2018, 04:49:46 PM
Since I don't have a lot of money so that I always prefer to buy Bitcoin for trading or saving for earning money. Not only that Mining is not so easy for me because I have a little bit knowledge about this mining. that's why buying Bitcoin is more comfortable than mining.
It's true that mining is more profitable than buying Bitcoin if you want to earn money from this platform. But mining requires a lot of risk than buying Bitcoin. So i always choose a safe side regarding making money.

Even if you had knowledge about mining it wouldn't be advisable without a lot of money to start the business and depending where you live it wouldn't be advisable as well. In the earlier days mining was a homemade activity, a hobby for some people discovering the new technology, but since some years ago it has became a serious business only being worthful if done in a professional way, in large scale.
420  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin eventually disappear... on: March 05, 2018, 02:42:00 AM
I'm sure there are hundreds of thousands of bitcoin lost already, mainly because folks threw them away for whatever reason due to either human error or because they thought it would be worthless in the early days.

Many people have forgotten their passwords or where they put their coins since BTC was very cheap, they didn't give much attention to Bitcoin on that time and now some of them are a bit despaired trying to recover it somehow... There are many lost coins already, as you said. But I believe it's not a problem at all.

It will just make the currency becomes more and more valuable. To use Bitcoin we don't need 1 Bitcoin, we can still use it even having some millions of satoshis and in the future this amount can be even lower. Low supply is somehow good (at least for early investors), because the currency's price increases easier.
