Migrations for BTCT shareholders are still in the works. Your shares are safe and all accounts are backed up and stored independently.

Part of the delay is due to Danny, myself, and his team having already scheduled travel and meetings for Neo in conflict with BTCT's closing. I am in Cyprus now. Meeting all of the partners and seeing the offices has been an impressive and surreal experience so far.

I have the video of Danny speaking at the conference, which I'll post when I have some downtime. Meeting with the software team now...
402  Economy / Securities / Re: How To Migrate Your ASICMINER-PT shares from BTCT to Havelock on: September 28, 2013, 03:14:43 PM
Hi TAT,

I never internal transfer any share to anyone in BTCT before. I already have some AM at bitfunder, but now I want to distribute my AM at BTCT to HAVELOCK.

Is it the "Internal Asset Transfer" function in BTCT for pushing shares to you?

Thanks and sorry for my inexperience.

Yes, that is the feature you would use for the BTCT share-pushing portion of the instructions.

Just a note that TAT.NEOBEE migrations from BTCT.co will be processed AFTER TAT.ASICMINER migrations are complete. You can track that progress here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=192499.msg3245924#msg3245924

Once the data is parsed it will be handed off to Havelock for batch processing.

For the people that chose Bitfunder, I will attempt to get Bitfunder to process the imports as one batch as well, after the data is parsed. However, I do not have confirmation that BF can help automate in this way, so it may take longer.

Thank you for your patience. This is a lot of work and comes at a very inconvenient time due to other events taking my time this week and next, but we'll get it all taken care of ASAP!
404  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] TAT.ASICMINER New Micro-share Passthrough! on: September 27, 2013, 09:24:36 AM
We've begun parsing the TAT.ASICMINER migrations.

There are more than 1000 holders, so it's taking a fair amount of time just to verify the requests and note the destination info.

405  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTCTC][[ASICMINER-PT]] - Public trading of ASICMINER shares on: September 27, 2013, 08:54:27 AM
We've been keeping with migrations from AM-PT to AM1 on Havelock pretty well.

Share count has doubled in the past few days and the pace is picking up.

406  Economy / Securities / Re: How To Migrate Your ASICMINER-PT shares from BTCT to Havelock on: September 27, 2013, 08:52:47 AM
All current AM1 migrations are complete. There are several people that supplied incomplete info, so please check your email if you have not received your AM1 shares yet.

Progress is going well with the share count doubling in the past few days for AM1. Keep them coming!

I am just awaiting an update from TAT in relation to the transfers from BTCT.

Once he is online, I shall be in a position to give more information.

It might be a bit early to give an estimate on when transfers will be done. There are easily 500+ requests so far, all of which must be parsed and verified. The parsing has started. I'll give more updates as I can.
409  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Deprived Mining Speculation (DMS) on: September 24, 2013, 04:31:59 PM
Specific problem areas (some of which may only relate to one of them) are :

1.  Lack of API support for transfers - meaning PURCHASE splits would have to be done manually so I'd have to impose limits on them to kep the workload bearable.
2.  No direct transfer of BTC - so redemption of MINING+SELLING pairs wouldn't be possible (or would have to be restricted only to large bundles with the BTC paid off-exchange).
3.  No voting system - so investment approval would have to be simplified.  This also raises problems with the shutdown vote - which is a more serious concern that investment approval really.

1. Havelock does have custom ability to allow pushing shares directly to the issuer for shareholders. It also allows issuers to push shares directly to accounts. You would probably need to talk to James to get any specific API needs addressed, as their issuer system is unique in how it works.
2. Correct, Havelock does not have this feature.
3. Also correct, however....

In my experience, Havelock has been the most responsive to feature requests from issuers. If you take the time to set a meeting with them, and explain your intention to run multiple sets of assets like this (DMS, and the one you have planned), it is not unlikely they will try to accommodate some or all of your feature and API needs.
410  Economy / Securities / Re: Migrate to Bitfunder or Havelock? on: September 24, 2013, 03:34:28 PM
Have lock has a a sweet, underrated live trading interface.

Bitfunder has live books as well.

I really hope BOTH exchanges can thrive.

...DO NOT INITIATE A TRANSFER TO AM1 BEFORE YOU RECEIVE YOUR DIVIDENDS THIS WEEK...

Just to clarify my understanding...

Do you mean do not use this facility at all this week prior to dividends (do not use it on Tuesday, for example)?

Or just do not use it on Wednesday right before dividends go out?

It's simply meant to prevent me from having to sort out individual dividend payments for people.

The quoted text is explicit, if you haven't received your dividends on BTCT yet (this week), don't push the shares.

I am about to board a flight so I might not be able to process such pushes until after Burnside pays divs, thus creating complications because Havelock doesn't have a system to push coins to individual users.
412  Economy / Securities / How To Migrate Your ASICMINER-PT shares from BTCT to Havelock on: September 24, 2013, 01:41:44 PM
Since many are asking, I am making this thread to clarify the steps for importing your shares into the full-share ASICMINER passthrough, AM1, on HavelockInvestments.com

Some details you should know:
• Havelock has no trade fees for buying, and a .4% fee for selling (This is similar in rate to BTCT, except BTCT charges both sides. This is lower in rate than BitFunder.com)
• There are NO MANAGEMENT FEES taken by the issuer on these shares
• AM1 allows both imports and exports for any quantity of shares (The limitations are similar to BTCT, but please read the full details. Bitfunder has a 250-share minimum for exports)
• Our track records shows that we are almost always the fasted to pay dividends
• The full asset description can be found here: https://www.havelockinvestments.com/fund.php?symbol=AM1

What NOT to do:
• DO NOT INITIATE A TRANSFER TO AM1 BEFORE YOU RECEIVE YOUR DIVIDENDS THIS WEEK. We don't to deal with any complications or shenanigans related to paying missed dividends or poeple trying to get double dividends. To be clear, we will NOT render dividends to individuals outside of the normal weekly processes.
• DO NOT UTILIZE THIS SERVICE TO THEN IMMEDIATELY EXPORT TO DIRECT SHARES. This is considered abuse of the service. If you want your ASICMINER-PT shares to be direct shares, please initiate that process with Burnside.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Make the subject of your email: AM1
2. From your BTCT.co account, push the quantity of shares you would like to import to username TATInvestments
3. Send an e-mail to us at tat.investments@gmail.com and confirm the username you pushed shares from, as well as the quantity.
Be sure to send this e-mail from the same address associated with your Havelock account.
4. The new AM1 shares will be added to your account, and a confirmation e-mail will be sent to you when complete.

NOTE: FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND BE ACCURATE. WE WILL NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR TYPOS OR INCORRECT INFORMATION. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DELAYS IN PROCESSING, NOR POTENTIAL LOSS INCURRED DURING THIS MIGRATION PROCESS. WE APPRECIATE YOUR PATIENCE. WE AIM TO MAKE THIS A SMOOTH & EFFICIENT PROCESS, THANK YOU!

Project Timeline

August-September: Deploy/sell all hashpower arriving in July and early August.
September-November: Deploy/sell the hashpower ordered at early July.
November-December: Experimental products of 2nd-gen chips and modular large-scale deployment solutions.

I believe this refers to bolded part. Now it has been specified to be done in october.

The sales have been happening all through that period, the 500TH info is merely saying that supply will be increasing. Note that blades are, and have been, available and selling.
414  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Virtual Community Exchange [WINDING DOWN] on: September 24, 2013, 12:10:26 PM
what nationalities are behind haveluck and bitfunder ? and where are they operating ?

Bitfunder is operated from the USA, but I think the business is registered in another country (I forget which).

Havelock is owned and operated in Canada.
415  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] BTC Growth: Capital Growth via Hedge Fund-Style Investing on: September 24, 2013, 11:22:17 AM
do you need a home for the fund, or facilities to trade?
He needs a platform for us, investors, to offer a liquidity for the shares. He is trading at BitFunder already as we know - the fund holds cca 200 BTC in Ukyo.Loan.

I would prefer Havelock. There are lower fees (but also lower liquidity). On the other hand users there have jumped on pretty much any offering (SANDSTORM, CBTC).

Liquidity after the closing of BTCT will surely improve on Havelock & BitFunder.

Guys, you are so wrong...
Look, did you remember last time we discussed blade production costs?
(actually that's a recurring topic, like many in this thread; I guess today is just the time for yet another iteration)

So we concluded that the mass production costs for a blade should be like around $20.  That's a reasonable price if you compare it to consumer products of similar complexity (like graphics cards).  Remember it's China and Friedcat's prices are likely very close to the lowest available anywhere in the world, at least now that the volume became so high.  Okay, let's be very pessimistic and assume a ceiling of 30$, that's around 0.25BTC by current prices, and with a reasonable profit margin it would still be more than acceptable for them to sell the blades for less than 0.5BTC.  Now please reconsider if people would buy these blades in November, if they sell for 0.5BTC!  I bet they would even in December, even if most the competitors actually deliver in time with their currently announced prices.

Also note that most competitors are less likely to have production costs as low as Friedcat (you know, Chinese are very social people; the "connections" are very valuable for them so a foreigner cannot get as good deal as a local).

Also note that 55nm chip of the same die area is much more expensive than 130 nm chip.  Of course, it's still cheaper per Gigahash, but not as much as per more powerful and efficient.  Let's say, if the 55nm chip is 8x as powerful as 130nm, then it's likely about twice as expensive per chip, so only 4x as cheap per GH.

So don't underestimate the good old 130nm, it will last until the end of the year.

It will last longer than the end of the year, particularly when you consider franchising and self-farming as additional options to sales.

if you can't do it without an exchange, you have no place here

Sorry Vexual, but I have no idea what you're talking about (again)...

(You do get that my previous reply was to MPOE-PR and her plug for MPOE, right? You get that I was saying just because MP has an exchange does not mean he has a credible offer to provide a home for a fund of this type?)

I've already indicated that I am not willing to operate a fund of this type via email transfers, friedcat-style. Even if I were willing to do that, my guess is that very very few participants would want to continue with such severely impaired liquidity.

This has nothing to do with "can't do it without an exchange": I simply won't do it without an exchange. That's not negotiable, and if you or anyone else has a problem with that, then this fund very certainly is not for you.

Have you spoken with Havelock?
418  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] CIPHERMINE.B1 - a virtual corporate bond with a 22% fixed-fiat APR on: September 24, 2013, 11:08:14 AM
The bonds have a face value for a reason, there should be no talk of discounting that.

BTCT/LTCG's closure does not affect their regular business operations (unless their business operations happen to require regular dilution of shares to stay afloat...)
419  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Virtual Community Exchange [WINDING DOWN] on: September 24, 2013, 10:01:07 AM
You are welcome to push your ASICMINER-PT shares to my account on BTCT.co, TATInvestments, where I can convert them to AM1 shares on Havelock.
See https://www.havelockinvestments.com/fund.php?symbol=AM1 for full details and instructions.

There are no management fees on dividends for AM1 and Havelock has low trade fees as well.

PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS UNTIL AFTER THIS WEEK'S DIVIDENDS. ALSO DO NOT DO THIS IF YOU ARE JUST TRYING TO EXPORT TO DIRECT SHARES FASTER (IT WILL NOT BE FASTER, IF YOU INTEND TO HOLD DIRECT SHARES, JUST WAIT FOR BURNSIDE TO DO THEM).

Havelock only charges .4% trade fees on Sales, there is no fee to Buy, nor any fees to have an account.
420  Economy / Securities / Re: Simple way of ASICMINER transfer to 796 Exchange on: September 24, 2013, 09:58:01 AM
The process for transferring your BTCT ASISMINER-PT shares to AM1 on HavelockInvestments.com is also very simple. Details are in the transfer section of the prospectus here: https://www.havelockinvestments.com/fund.php?symbol=AM1

Havelock only charges .4% trade fees on Sales, there is no fee to Buy, nor any fees to have an account.
