I can't withhold from next payout, I'd have to freeze the entire account for a week to do so. Simply hold the divs for now people, if you are a decent people.
I received a double-dividend payment as well :| How did this happen, and how should we return the extra payment to you ? FWIW, I manually reinvest dividends from both ASICMINER-PT and TAT.ASICMINER into TAT.ASICMINER, so, yeah... have this money staring at me needing to be returned, can't reinvest it, and would like to get it back to you. Please just hold the extra coins for now. I need to wait on Burnside to see how he wants to fix this. I have copied a list of all shareholders, but doing anything more might just make it messier.

The BCTCT system glitched and paid out twice. I don't know if it was reversible, but please do the right thing and hold your coins for now.
Isn't it easier to reduce next payment(s)? Apparently you had enough coins. Some people have reinvestment programs so I doubt that you can cleanly reverse it even if nobody have withdrawn... I can't withhold from next payout, I'd have to freeze the entire account for a week to do so. Simply hold the divs for now people, if you are a decent people.

Can i transfer my shares from BTC TC to Bitfunder??
Exporting, importing, or conversion of shares is not currently available. Is it up for consideration assuming we have no set timeline ? It will not be considered again until the board seat is achieved, and even at that point, nothing is promised in regards to transfers. I have explained the reasoning a few times in the past, and those reasons are unlikely to change.

The is a very valid point. Holding a currency does not in an of itself provide an income. There is a limit to the number of shares that could be issued so I am curious as to how the actual execution would take place. i.e. Where is the profit in this?
Charge a storage/management fee.

Never mind I found it. It amazes me what people are willing to pay to enter the mining game. At this rate I wouldn't see and ROI for 2 1/2 years.
40% per year is actually a pretty amazing ROI. Not in the world of Bitcoin sir. For $33,000 (250 BTC x $133) I can buy a foreclosed home, renovate it, put it on the market and within 4 months double your original investment and that is still taking a hefty profit for myself. *and that includes taking a hefty profit for myself. I think you are looking for the "Slumlord forums" next door...maybe they are more interested in the amazing opportunities in the US housing market. Mining stocks benefit from three sources of appreciation....the stock value is held in units of bitcoin which is increasing in value (in the long term), the stock price is appreciating every time Friedcat does something even more brilliant, and you get paid in dividends every week. If you just looked at it alone from the dividend aspect we are making as someone mentioned >40% income per year. (In a currency that is also appreciating.) First of all you can go fuck yourself for referring to me as a slum lord. I take pride and care into what I do and take a house that has been destroyed by previous owners who defaulted on their loans for whatever reason. I do not judge them nor do I pass judgement on anyone I don't know personally. As for it being a lot of work it is a great deal of work but it is also something I enjoy and take pride in. It's a great feeling taking a home that most people are afraid to step foot in and renovating it into something beautiful and desirable again. The 40% ROI is great in many different aspects of investing but in Bitcoin it holds a serious risk. Their are so many factors in Bitcoin such as the economy of Bitcoin, government interference, general adoption etc. that for me 2 1/2 years is to long to "wait and see". If I am going to invest in a BTC opportunity I would like to see a 6-8 month turn around. This limits the risk substantially and any investor will tell you risking an investment in something as volatile as Bitcoin get your money in and out as quickly as possible and use our profits to go long. Two questions then... 1. What assets have a better ROI than AM, or meet your criteria 2. If AM is not good enough, and probably nothing else is, why are you here?

Lucif, what sources are you using for your current charts? Is it Gox price, or a combination from all markets?
I ask, because I'm pretty sure Gox is representing a smaller and smaller portion of the market, and we need to factor the whole market for accuracy.

The problem with a book of this sort, is it that anything specific will be outdated by the time you finish writing and releasing it. This means that you'd need to get very conceptual about the type of markets within bitcoin, and how known financial strategies might apply. However, I do concede that there indeed specific tips and ways to maneuver in bitcoin investing that would be helpful to investors, but good luck getting people to share

isnt asicminer in china? how will this affect the company? or even more affect us the share holders?
Risk: Regulation by chinese authorities. Opportunity: Promising huge market... Especially, if mining (and selling ASIC hardware) is not so attractive in the future, AM still has huge investment opportunities in a potentially huge market. Who knows? Maybe in 5 years Friedcat will sell Bitcoin-ATMs in China instead of Blockerupters. how possible is it that chinese authority will regulate or even illegalize bitcoin at all ? since deadterra is selling of more than 2000 shares, i'm a little afraid that he might have some insider information to that and now takes profit before shareprice is going down ... 2000 out of 18,000. I would be constantly selling too.. You aren't grasping how a passthrough works. The great majority of shares in G.ASICMINER are already "sold", DT just holds onto the direct shares on behalf of the people who bought them.

Would publishing AMC's bitcoin address add transparency since we can see proof of purchase of Avalon chips, etc.
I think it would: Here is the address we are holding bitcoins at to purchase the chips: 16yTynjmSe5bsRGykDaaCL5bm2pxiEfcqP We would like to purchase a full batch as group purchases have a commission of about 9.5% Where did the other 460BTC go?
