421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Navigating the World of Online Gambling on: September 18, 2023, 04:03:49 PM
Ahh, we get the fee when we lose on the way. No gambler might have won in the first go including their ROI and profits thereafter. Every one lose first, then they get the lessons and then the real journey starts. Every one start experimenting when they enter the gambling world. Whether it is experimenting the same slot or same live roulette on one casino site or other hundred sites we know very well it works the same yet we experiment and lose along the way. It’s not about that in the OP, it’s about how risky it is. The ways are not explained but in short one can say that it’s experiment, either it is gonna be failed one or success one.
Many times it can also be about luck to be honest. Luck that is calculated based on maths. For example, volatility of the game, how much losses or wins House has gotten, House edge itself and adding your own experience with it. All of this can play crucial role during that “game session”. Better play the games when you are winning and not when you are losing it in a streak.
422  Economy / Economics / Re: Was just watching the big short. Why do the times suddenly feel similar? on: September 18, 2023, 01:36:39 PM
Just watching that movie gave me such chills, my family and I lost our house we lost everything in 2008 when the housing market crashed. Honestly after living through it in the worst way you can see how I would be such an advocate for bitcoin. Many other folks didn't have to go though that, and so they don't quite understand. I couldn't hell but think how strangely similar the feeling back then how it almost feels like the same type of conditions for things to happen. I said it the other day whilst playing golf to my m8 that something big was brewing, I could just feel it. Could we be on the verge of some crazy market crashes like in 2008?

I hope you guys are on track now and doing better. The economic crash hits the normal peeps like me and you all the time. Our financial management starts breaking apart when we see prices soaring for daily mandatory things like food, electricity, gasoline, and a few others but not limited to them.

Some might say this is just a needle in a haystack but I say things start worsening at this point itself. Our interest rates are also revised during such high tension thus it becomes complicated whether to feed the family first or pay the EMI on time. If someone is from a developing country then they will know what are the consequences of living with missed EMIs, high price tags on regular vegetables, and much more.

So I feel you mate. It can only be recovered with great attention to savings that can make us survive during high times like these.
423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halving is Going to Cause a General Effect on all in the Ecosystem on: September 18, 2023, 01:03:42 PM
I would say this is just a reminder for every one of us and new thing for the newbies. It’s most awaited event by bitcoin hodler since there is high chance it will pump Bitcoin economy to next level. The previous mapping suggests we get a big dip first, then we end up in high pumping zone once FOMO is out. This is big event for the millionaires, institutional investors, and most of the big companies to get lot of Bitcoins in their bags. They know very well when rest of the word is fearing out their sells, it’s time to buy and hodl.

Hope so most of the forum members have learned the lesson in previous 1 or 2 halving events if they had been around for that much time and hodl by not freaking out. Good times coming boys, hope so we get good bag of bitcoin soon.
424  Economy / Economics / Re: It ain't meant to be easy on: September 18, 2023, 12:30:16 PM
I am keeping everything simple and will continue to follow the same mantra even if I become multi millionaire. You enjoy the life the way it comes to you. If you try too hard you will make mistake and if you do not try at all then it will hit hard back to you. Better keep managing the life events as they come to you. You got extra money today? Save some, invest some, and spend some for your loved ones. If you did not get any extra money still save some, invest some and spend “later” on your loved ones. They ain’t going anywhere, they also live the same life. The save and invest is the key in all of this.

I see you mentioning and correlating things with merit earning on the forum. I count it as appendix in the system. One of the organ that is in our body it has no function since ages and it’s getting rejected by the body. It’s just sitting there with no meaning.

If you are using forum for your knowledge and sharing your knowledge, you are automatically getting escalated.

Don’t make this as rat race, makes it simpler. Smiley
425  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet hacked? on: September 17, 2023, 05:00:18 PM
I wish to express my gratitude for the prompt responses and valuable insights shared. I would like to clarify the nature of the alert I received on my iPhone. This alert was generated by a built-in feature that detects if credentials stored in the password manager are part of a data leak. The specific message conveyed was:
"This password appeared in a data leak, which puts this account at high risk of compromise. You should change your password immediately."
Thank you for the clarification, now it makes more sense!
The worning you received has nothing to do with Cloudbet. It doesn't mean Cloudbet has been hacked or there is a breach or anything like that.
It only means that your password is weak or it appears in one of the leaked databases.
You can enter your password here to see if it was exposed in any of the known breaches:
https://haveibeenpwned.com/Passwords

Ok if that is the case then we can safely say Cloudbet is in good hands. Moreover, there would have been an official announcement quicker than we needed to open a discussion about it. Since there is no such comment from the Cloudbet officials it is just a matter of someone trying to phish the entire thing or may be just part of negative marketing. However, in my opinion, if we have the slightest doubt about any casino or any sort of website out there we should either change he password, take out the funds from the website, or make he account safer with 2FA if that option is available. If we are not too attached to the website then we can just find an alternative way to invest and go there. It's always better to prevent stuff before it gets on our heads.

I have no doubt that every casino site tries its best to keep its data safe so that users can trust it and keep investing in it. However it is best practice to perform all the safety actions before losing any funds to the fraudsters.
426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Tax Efficient With Your Gambling Habbits? on: September 17, 2023, 03:11:32 PM
In India it is mandatory to show the income from gambling sites. We consider it as Virtual assets and other income under one of the section of Taxation. However it is another case whether we show that income or not. For business personnel it is very easy to adjust the various income slots and lesson the income from gambling sites or at least show it that way. The tax can be lowered that way. However when it comes to an individual full tax slots need to be paid. If we are playing and earning in the form Bitcoin then anything sold off in terms of bitcoin would be considered as 30% tax slot. It’s way better to just hold the winnings and keep them safe in wallet.
427  Economy / Gambling / Re: Empire.io | Free Payouts, VPN-Friendly, No Upfront KYC & 1 BTC bonus! on: September 17, 2023, 02:13:28 PM
Also, I was reading through the 100% bonus for the deposit but did not understand the requirement completely. For example, most of the casinos would tell us straight away that we have to wager 10x, or 5x of the deposited amount then only we can withdraw, however, there are no such instructions given in the Empire promo.

The information about wagering requirement for the welcome offer (100% deposit) is available in the promotion page. https://empire.io/promotions/100--welcome-offer-new . Let me make it easy for you by quoting the wagering requirement:
Quote
The mBTC (μBTC) / USDT / ETH / DOGE / TRX / BUSD / LTC / XRP/ BNB cash reward that you can receive as part of this campaign is subject to 50x (25x deposit + 25x reward money) playthrough in video slots.

It is 50x of your total deposit + bonus, e.g you take this bonus and make 100$ deposit, you will have $200 balance so you will have to wager $200*50= $10k before you are able to withdraw.

Does that mean it's wager-free or something?

There will be no casino offering a wager-free deposit bonus because it will be easily abused.

Shush, that's the big wagering requirement. So as usual let us start with a small footstep and then grow the investment bigger. I am not sure but it seems peeps are experimenting with these bonuses with dice games or crash games. They are the only ones that can get us lesser losses and bigger profits. However, that can also get weird if the volatility is not in our favor during our seed or game plays. I think it's better to put a small amount first and then unlock the withdrawal stage with that. I thought empire is offering very relaxed wagering requirement, but to the notice, having 50x requirement is really big one.

There will be no casino offer wager-free deposit bonus because it will be easily abused.
Usually casinos require users to wager to claim deposit bonus which is easily abused. The level of exploitation can be bigger if the bonus program is big and lasts long enough so wagering condition is helpful to prevent abuse.

Each casino has different wager requirement but I agree it must be one of conditions to be eligible. Empire.io team should consider this condition for their Deposit bonus program too.

Yeah, I have read about it. It's also to overcome any sort of money laudnering that might be done by exchange the deposits with other type of coins. It's always good to see casino taking care of that with such wagering requirement however it should be little relaxed. Like, if I am getting 100 bonus for depositing 100 then I they should only impose 50x wager on my original deposit. Might simplify it for actual players.
428  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: September 17, 2023, 01:32:14 PM
@swogerino, @Fivestar4everMVP and @Saint-loup
I realized what made the freebitcoin website unable to be accessed easily in recent days because it turned out that this casino was included in a website that was blocked by my ISP so I had to access it via VPN to be able to access it perfectly.

All sites containing gambling would be blocked by almost all ISPs in my country. Usually when a site is blocked a positive internet notification will appear but using Brave Browser the notification doesn't appear so I don't know that it has been blocked.

After being a member of this casino for quite a long time, freebitcoin was one of the casinos that could be accessed without a VPN, but now that's not the case anymore, and because FBIN is very VPN friendly, there are no worries about using a VPN.
Be careful, Freebitcoin is VPN friendly unless no other user is using the same VPN address as you. Otherwise you will be unable to claim your free rolls and you'll receive messages saying that someone else as already claim a free roll from your IP address and you need to wait X minutes. In addition if one big cheater is using the same VPN as you, it could be problematic for you.

Interesting, this is the first time I have heard someone is getting blocked from using free Bitcoin. I think free Bitcoin is fully turning into a gambling website and that's why there is a sudden change like this. It's sad to see you are not able to access it directly as a "faucet". It makes sense, but free Bitcoin also needs to adopt new ways of entertaining its users. First, we saw newly promoted casino sites that were listed as promotional programs and then we saw major changes like sports betting. This was now within the site so I believe your ISP is considering it as a proper gambling site. By the way, accessing sites that include investments should not be accessed with VPN. You never know what rule might get bent by you or the provider thus locking up all your funds. We have seen this happening with other gambling sites before. From the experience it should be avoided and only go with the other type of games that may not be blocked by your ISP.
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram launches crypto currency wallet. on: September 16, 2023, 07:30:51 PM
I am not very comfortable with the wallet that is able to fetch the data via in-chat application mode. I think it's very risky and there are chances that one can be a victim of phishing links. One can easily get trapped with hundreds of channels or groups that host likeable content to which we are subscribed. As we know very well telegram also has bot functionality and it is one of the authentication process when we enter new groups or let us say private chats. Who knows someday someone will create a bo, instead of getting verified on a channel we might just get phished with such bot. Isn't that fearful? Since wallets will be synched with telegram all the time, that is one of the possibilities that we can not deny at any cost. It's all about our money. I think it would be surely popular but as an individual I am good with my own wallet and non-custody is a safe passage to keep your funds safer in crypto. However, cheers to the community who is loving this idea. Hope it adds more money in the entire ecosystem.
430  Economy / Gambling / Re: Empire.io | Free Payouts, VPN-Friendly, No Upfront KYC & 1 BTC bonus! on: September 16, 2023, 06:43:04 PM
Welcome to the forum I can see that you have already got nice promotions on the site. Currently, it seems you have foxed 9 promotions and 1 tournament underway. Hoping that your stay will be one of the top most liked gambling sites here. The website theme is really nice and eye-catching. Fits better for longer plays like in those live gaming sections. I see the Streak and Monthly winner as the new way of promoting more game plays or competition amongst the players. This type of competition is very engaging since you have to be present on the site almost every day to stay on top of the list.

Also, I was reading through the 100% bonus for the deposit but did not understand the requirement completely. For example, most of the casinos would tell us straight away that we have to wager 10x, or 5x of the deposited amount then only we can withdraw, however, there are no such instructions given in the Empire promo. 431  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: September 16, 2023, 05:31:54 PM
So you've deposited $48,000+ and only now found out that they "may" require KYC in the future and you are mad about it? What a non issue to be up in arms about, lol.

I am not mad at KYC thing, I know this long back. I am just stating, they will take as much as $48,000 without requiring kyc. Then they can nerf down with the bonuses. These fuckers should be in jail for their shady practices. Any person wearing their signature should be ashamed as well..haha

That's coming from a person who might not have invested more than $10 on a gambling site considering you are also firing your questions with a new account. If that had been the case then they would have been behind bars already. It's a licensed casino man, they have books to keep, and they have accounts to maintain all the time. If you think running a business is always a way to loot peeps then better not play and avoid the internet for that matter, If players have been playing on Duelbits for a long period of time then definitely they are getting paid. Now don't reply with shit that you only played for a few hundred dollars and stuff because you have no idea how much peeps invested and competed on Duelbits all the time.  It's so bad that they always have to target the famous casinos around the forum. If that's a confirmed case for you, just switch it rather than taking out anger on your losses in the thread. Just a suggestion.
432  Economy / Economics / Re: To afford personal education or a property? Where to allocate funds? on: September 16, 2023, 02:58:33 PM
This is literally the question to every one of us as we grow with our lives. Some are blessed with good financial backgrounds some are not as good while some literally start from scratch. I think if it is the age of learning then it's better to spend money on education only. This is primarily based on us building the skills to survive in the real world. The only reason we should spend on education is knowledge, a career path, and destiny to reach the highest level in that field.

If we start spending money on properties then they will grow eventually and that can also have amazing returns. The question is, will they be enough to survive for the rest of our lives? I highly doubt there is any scheme that can make you that rich or gain you that much money.

I think one should never break the protocol. Get the perfect degree, have an amazing career path, friends, family gatherings, extra-curricular activities, and learn as you go. Money will definitely follow you in your footsteps. So invest in education!
433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be the biggest means of fulfilling dreams in the future. on: September 16, 2023, 01:36:29 PM
I fully agree that we should chase our dreams but there needs to be proper account management to perceive our dreams. Many peeps think that having a good salary can be a good thing and having plenty amount in savings can be a good thing to chase those dreams. I disagree with that because having savings won't last for a very long period of time. BUT, you need to save for any sort of emergencies that may arise in the future. I think what you stated in the OP that having money in the corner of the house for the family shouldn't be it is not true. There has to be a portion saved so that we can tackle any unwanted things in the future.

Now, to save, doesn't mean you have to save everything that comes your way. Better do accounting have a fixed % to be shared int he savings account and checking account. This way one can be very clear about what they are left with for investing, in our case Bitcoin.

If we know that figure one can easily tally when and how we can achieve our dreams. Smiley
434  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: September 15, 2023, 06:57:01 PM
Since we all know that Roobet.com regularly hosts an Art Contest here on Bitcointalk and they say:
Code:
Bonus Free Spins!: Some lucky participants will be credited with Free Spins
I'm not sure if this is my fourth time joining the Roobet Art Contest on Bitcointalk. I've won twice but never received a free spin as a prize. I want to know if other contestants in the Art Contest have received free spins, even if they didn't win.
I have never participated in this contest because I don't have those skills so I don't know for sure about the free spins that participants get, but from the statement you included and I also checked directly in the art contest thread, it clearly states that only some lucky participants, meaning not all the winners or not all participants took part this contest will get a free spin bonus, and it is not stated the criteria for getting it so the award is random whoever gets it, only Roobet knows, and I'm pretty sure the lucky ones will have gotten it.
Getting free spins is really fun so we can try Roobet casino and if we are lucky we will get attractive prizes of course.

I've been following the roobet art contests for a while now and I realized they changed the free spins rewards.

The first one said every real artwork entry will get a free spins. Did every entry got it? I would have joined if I read that one. Now they just award selected users. It would be nice if someone can confirm if there is really a consolation prize.
maybe that is the reason why the team changed that rules in bonus spins because some are just partaking to have that free spins even if their entry is not as competent than others submitted .
i am not saying there is a discrimination from most skilled to non skilled but lets admit the fact that there might be an abuse or taking advantage so the team changed that and I believe it is their rights and also their way to prevent abusing.
and since the rules changed to whom they will only award depending on thier decision  , so maybe no one can question who received and whom does not.

Oops, I think I have also missed this opportunity but I was honestly careless to read all the terms and conditions about the artwork contest. Maybe I am too used to artwork contest that I know old rules where you just have to submit artwork, best submission gets the winning entry after Roobet team select it and that’s all. :-)

It’s fair from the Roobet team that they have changed the rules to the above quoted post since it’s not getting much of the attention.  Or there could false submissions with so called “instant” submission too. Whatever it is, it’s way professional and thoughtful contest so far. I think we deserve this as always.
435  Economy / Economics / Re: 1.34 trillion asset manager Deutsche Bank to offer Bitcoin service on: September 15, 2023, 03:12:11 PM
That’s called as good face and bad face at the same time. We can’t rely on the banks for crypto services because we would end up sending our money in the centralised possession. Banks will earn the interest on that money they will also earn interest by giving away the loans at higher interest rates. They will definitely Back up the stability with fiat money itself. This is going to be encircling economy where no one but the banks will benefit a lot. I hope nobody use their services. Let us keep the money in bitcoin form preferably in our own custody. In the cold wallet or paper wallet. :-)
I am not sure what others to think about it but this is should be the way.
436  Economy / Economics / Re: Economics is not fulfilling its true potential as a science on: September 15, 2023, 01:35:45 PM
This is what happens when our government starts fooling us with a Trojan horse. On the outer side, it is always looking good but inside it is just a crooked economy that they have built. I think it is like they are showing us everything is very normal, we have enough credits, loans are running perfectly, and prices for day-to-day life things are in line but it's nothing like that. The thing is, it doesn't matter if they are studying the economy properly or not, there is a whole bunch of corrupt government authorities that will run everything for their own benefit and nothing else. Even if there is a way to overcome things easily they would not start implying those solutions immediately because that would be dangerous for their profits. They will let the chaos happen, use the stones to throw when elections are at the doorstep, and then start recovering things. I never understand why it is the highly developed countries with the best minds that are getting the worst hit if they can overcome everything in a year or so. Isn't it tricky?
437  Economy / Economics / Re: for anyone interested in how much their personal data is worth on: September 15, 2023, 12:07:40 PM
Makes clear sense when someone is working on the micro-tasking site. They also segregate the task publishers into Tier 1, 2, and 3 countries. As anyone would guess, Tier 1 is nothing but highly developed countries like Europe, and the USA while the rest of the world follows behind it.

If someone is doing a KYC-related task then a Tier 3 country would have let us say $ 0.20 payout. However, if the same task is being done by a Tier 1 country then the difference is as much as $2 making it 10 times more valuable.

Based on this assumption demographic data is far more valuable than anything else. Even the survey providers follow the same strategy and pay their users likewise. I think what is being represented in the OP falls to correct reality which is both sad and unwanted at the same time. It's personal data, it's better be secure.
438  Economy / Speculation / Re: Key Accelerators to bitcoin bull market on: September 14, 2023, 09:42:12 AM
Well, so far the utilization is for profit making only. Most financial institutes have taken Bitcoin literally as a way to earn more profits with their brokerage firms. Some of them are ahead of that making a bitcoin bank where they accept every commercial business from a Bitcoin background. This has made the business grow under the roof of bitcoin trades.

Going beyond this, Bitcoin is now included in traditional exchangers like Forex, etoro, and other privately owned firms stating the purpose of making money only. I think everything makes sense because they are adopting bitcoin as a means of sending money here and there seems to be getting #2 acceptance.

By the way, I hardly think that the US presidential election has anything to do with Bitcoin. Not so far as they are only putting it in negative ways.
439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why gambling beginners must not joke with casino announcement on: September 14, 2023, 06:52:06 AM
It's important to note that when trying out a new site, it's highly recommended to use a small amount of money. We all still lack sufficient trust in the behavior of new casinos, so conducting some initial testing is crucial.

Most new casinos give quite large welcome bonuses to their new members. or for new members' first deposit. Maybe that's what encourages gamblers to deposit quite a lot of money at new casinos whose reputation we still don't know yet.

However, it is important to try new casinos with little money. with small bets and see if the casino pays us fairly when we get a win. Even if the process of withdrawing winnings that are not that big is deemed difficult by the casino, then we have to be careful.

we have to choose a casino that is comfortable and safe for us to play. Don't let us get trapped making deposits to casino sites that won't let us make withdrawals.

I think users still have a choice. Though there are big bonuses out there, they also call for a high wagering amount before you can actually withdraw your winnings if any. In my experience, it's a lucky chance if we ever end up wagering all that money and fulfilling the requirements given. The wagering requirement is actually one of the fraud prevention techniques where money laundering can be avoided. I mean someone could just put their money in the cashier and withdraw in a different currency and swap it. To avoid this you have to have the wagering requirement no matter what.

Whether it is a promotional offer or not, if the user is getting registered for the first time then they have to pass the checklist to show the authenticity. Unfortunately we have to study the gambling sites by ourselves and have the authenticity checked with external sources such as forum. That is what beginners need to do.
440  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crashgambler.io - Your Ultimate Crash Gambling Guide - Tournaments & Reviews on: September 14, 2023, 06:02:01 AM
Dude that is really nice website you have built up. Surfing through your website as we speak, everything is well organized there. You have done your studies and that's what your site is portraying. I am not sure whether you are affiliated with all those listed casinos, but it feels like high-end sponsorship and you are managing it so well.

All the information is present on your site and obviously, you must be updating them from time to time. What I love about your site is, the way you have laid out the info. Quick sections are there to understand the detailed info about tournaments. This is a site that one should be bookmarking in their browser for quick access. I am already registered on 4-5 sites in your list that means I can keep track of every tournament under single roof. Makes it perfect for gambler like me. Thanks!
