1261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase wallet to end support for ETC, BCH, XRP, XLM on: November 30, 2022, 05:11:34 PM
That is a good heads up for anyone holding these coins. At last they have made proper announcement well advance in time so that they could give up the custody of those funds to owners. Now if all of the exchanges promoted the news and also announcement like this within time then it could make good relations between two parties. I am saying all this in reference to the current FTX drama that happened and all the coins were lost and unrecoverable considering “non custody” of the coin owners (the FTX users). I hope coinbase handles it properly.
1262  Other / Off-topic / Re: Reuters Report: Crypto among highest-growing topics on twitter on: November 29, 2022, 06:24:27 PM
It means a lot to us but I dont know why would it matter to bitcointalk forum if anything is happening over the Twitter? Certainly community will start speaking about it, they will create thousands of threads to discuss about it's pros and cons but I dont think there will be any technical impacts on the forum itself. Or may be I did not get what impact you might be talking about?

Well as for the twitter, obviously it is bought by Elon so we can expect more inclination towards the financial growth of twitter shares. We may see peeps tipping each other for their tweets in the form of BTC or DOGE!!

1263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I will support Elon Musk if he creates a stablecoin for Twitter on: November 27, 2022, 07:53:43 PM
Hm, I stopped reading and making any sense out of the post after they said it will make everyone rich in the world. That is not how the world works and on top of that, it’s not the way financial circle works. If everyone became rich then it won’t solve any problem. There is still laundary to be done and dish to be served which means there will always be differences. I am not being rude here but I am being straightforward here. It is what it is and if there are millions to be distributed then let’s not forget there will be more billionaires and some trillionaires if that’s how the formula is going to work with Elon and his stable coin.
1264  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: November 27, 2022, 07:32:11 PM
Talking about the effectiveness to gain more tickets, playing slot games is better than betting on football matches.
Simply because playing slot games can be done anytime without waiting unlike betting on football matches.
Obviously, it is all about preferences but I have to say that playing slot games is faster but riskier in order to earn raffle tickets.

I think they have tried to make it fair by giving 5x more tickets on the sports betting so it does equalise in both the ways. But I also agree that spending money on slots can give us far more fun than what we could get out of the sports betting. Slots are lively, there is sound, adrenaline and your eyes are wide open when we loose in streak or win.  Grin

I am not sure if they have added roulette in this raffle because in few of the previous 5x was on the roulette. Might be sports because it’s new addition to the casino.

Good luck to all collecting and winning along the way.
1265  Economy / Economics / Re: Twitter Crypto head and staff resigns on: November 27, 2022, 07:13:21 PM
I personally don't think that this event will have a significant impact on Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency nor will it damage the reputation of Blockchain Technology as a whole.
That's also what I think. Because the noise that Elon has made, it seems that everyone is following the incidents and anything that him and his company does.

We're too invested much on the drama and happenings to Twitter and Elon. We shouldn't attached and think of it directly that there will be an effect to the market just because of it.

New King new rules. That’s how I am seeing this operation and definitely he might have some other level of thinking and management which took him to this extreme levels. The last updated count was around 5k employees being layed off from the Twitter company which is about 60% of total employees as per my Love news article. (Please check authenticity). Anyways, that’s huge number now and it could be due to his strictness or either he found the work culture was become too lazy around Twitter office considering the traditional way of working. The future is in good hands may be, he is more or less “earning methodology” expert so hopefully he will take Twitter to the right direction in terms of financials.
1266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FTX drama stressing people for no reason | How to stay neutral on: November 27, 2022, 06:44:45 PM
Peeps will obviously go away if they have lost millions in the arena of bitcoin because they themselves know how hard it was to hodl it for years and then loose it all in blink of an eye. I couldn’t see any viable reason here to deny the fact that they are wrong! If they are getting their money back then their is only slight chance the will believe in crypto one more time but that is also just slight chance. FTX drama is serious shit considering it involves the real money and not just virtual tokens mate.
1267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Good the bad and the ugly side of airdrops on: November 26, 2022, 03:56:28 PM
Yes, the ugly one. That’s really the thing about airdrops these days. So the other day I was in a telegram group where we work on micro tasks and kee earning few bucks in bitcoin all the time. There might have been big planning behind this but soon channel started publishing various good airdrops. It was all good until we get paid to do that micro task. The logic was we used to get paid for getting referred by single owner. In turn hé earned huge amounts of airdrop and later traded for money.

However, soon we realised that there were airdrops which literally had no projects, no white paper and worst none of them had a simple Website as well.

That pointed out the whole stuff to one thing, they were collecting the data. So it’s always better to use the secondary or temp mails so that to stay away from such scams
1268  Economy / Gambling / Re: BETS.IO Casino Up to 20% Cashback Every Day | 10-Minute Cashout | No KYC on: November 26, 2022, 03:08:26 PM
I like the theme of this casino a lot. It is so much lucid and very calming to my eyes. I don’t know but they have gone all HD with their graphics and using amazing UI immersive gameplay. Well I think our search for that particular casino which ask for no KYC might end with them. However I am not sure how long they will be able to sustain this because after every high end limit is reached for gambling sites they will ask for KYC because local authorities will enforce that rule on them. I just hope this does not happen with them?
Thanks for those permanent coupon codes for first timers. Hope so they will help boost us our experience.
1269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Get Bitcoin Holdings for your child from infant. on: November 26, 2022, 02:15:01 PM
Looks difficult for that long. But if there comes a tech where child’s biometric are required to open the ledger then it could work out really well. However in this case patents Will have to be patient enough to wait until they are 14-15 so that they could be taught what’s inside the ledger and how only they can open it. May be by that time one should also teach them if they gonna do part time work then start sending some bucks in bitcoin and then open the ledger in their 20’s or 25th something.  Imagine the kind of money they could have by that age and if bitcoins value is more (which will be) then they could end up with settled life.
1270  Economy / Economics / Re: Will central banks ultimately fail in their goal of lowering down inflation? on: November 26, 2022, 01:35:49 PM
Actually they will be able to do it right because they also did in the past and they have always managed to escalate the situation towards right road. In fact I could not imagine world getting into negative trends for very long terms. It will impact the lives of common peeps like me and it would be hard to sustain a good lifestyle for very long. Obviously every bit of action by government and central banks will impact us so they must recover the world from such down trend. Whether they use high taxes for time being and try to get it in-line or whether they use other ways (like bitcoin) but they should do it.
1271  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Will there ever be any safe centralised exchange ? on: November 25, 2022, 04:34:35 PM
Asking this question in the decentralised space is itself a crime. Lolz.  Grin
Idk, may be we should keep safe distance from the centralised exchanges and kee trading our assets with at most care. If we still going to use centralised exchanges then we should be thinking twice before doing so for “long term” investment. If we have entry point then just buy at it and move the coins to wallet. Once market is green for it then get them back and sell. Could be troubling but worth it if we want to safeguard it. Or another best option is not to use the centralised exchange at all.
1272  Other / Off-topic / Re: Increase in cost of running the family on: November 25, 2022, 03:37:34 PM
That’s why there is need of passive income along with our fixed job salary. We can not really cop up with the inflation that is going off the chart right now. In fact even without inflation the cost of living life is extremely high. In metropolitan cities the ratio is so high that we need to think twice while buying house or even renting one. In my country they are either managing the small living space or living far away from the city so as to tackle the expenses. Take example of living mumbai. The cost of survival is so high you would end up spending more than 50-60% of salary on monthly basis. This is in relation with average salaries person on the bell curve. Having kids would exhaust everything they have. The solution? Multiple incomes by spending more time on work and less time in sleeping and leisure.
1273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cloud mining on: November 25, 2022, 01:33:49 PM
After reading your title itself I was like - NOPE. You might know this but cloud mining is oldest scam you can ever find in the crypto community. Before 2017-18 it was really on the boom and many peeps got looted for their investment. That is get quick rich scheme and it’s better to stay away from it.

Experience- Swiss Alps Mining company. They literally gone so far that they sat up real mining blocks in Greenland and shown their logos, peeps working around and what not. It was so trustworthy project but slowly it turned out to be scam. Better think 100 times before joining.
1274  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Reasons why the 95% of future traders lose all of their money on: November 25, 2022, 03:37:43 AM
Though there is no source for this study but yes I believe it because market has become way way competitive than before. With digital era resources are becoming more prominent and tech behind every trade takes a footprint which needs to be analysed before anyone could move an inch in the system. One wrong move and one can end up in the bankruptcy. The factors like psychological and emotional is all about that greed which one takes up Once they loose.
1275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright's lawsuit against Kraken on: November 24, 2022, 07:01:55 PM
Craig is real funny guy and he is making a good joke out of him. His news are one of those hood coffee conversation starters which makes our coffee even bitter. Do you like it sir? One spoon CW or two spoon CW? Isn’t thats getting funnier everyday.

I don’t even know how lawsuits work in that country but after a few fake claims in my country such guys are taken seriously for background checks and then they are punished if they were wasting the time of court and deceiving them somehow.

He is stupidest human being with stupidest ideas every morning with stupidest fake claims.
1276  Economy / Economics / Re: The world’s baby shortfall is so bad that the labor shortage will last for years on: November 24, 2022, 06:30:48 PM
We are short of babies, dam that must be psychic assumption from Elon Musk. I think he does not understand each baby costs you food, money, health and living! From diaper changing to making him/her marry a right person it takes huge stuff from parents.  Roll Eyes

Dude does not even know there is part of world which is vulnerable to higher death rate due to hunger and no water and no proper authorities to provide substantial healthcare.

And he wants to grow the population even more?

I have seen him stating that “AI are far more dangerous than Nukes” and that mean automatic industry is gonna take peak soon. Where would the extra babies work?

Oh yeah right may be Mars.
1277  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What does Proof of Reserves mean and... on: November 23, 2022, 05:05:29 PM
Let me get this right, so Satoshi came in with great vision of making decentralised model of financial system. He invented blockchain, implemented all the bitcoin protocols and started proof of work as its working model. Everyone was happy, as everyone could see the transactions over block explorer and get public confirmations.

Then most stupidest peeps jump into the market they create extra layer of exchangers to expose the whole meaning of PoW and anonymous nature by exposing us to the KYC processes.

This too without any proof of their funds!

So then again the most stupidest peeps come together and form another layer to be implemented so that they can make the centralised working “decentralised” by showing their funds to us.

Wow, you got me.

Why don’t we just follow Satoshi in the first place?
1278  Economy / Economics / Re: Corrupt people in crypto on: November 22, 2022, 04:58:37 PM
Everyone is here for profits besides the fact that we also here for the privacy. However, due to some upgraded and extensions in the crypto space over the period of time (introduction of centralised exchangers, NFT crap, Meme crap) and much more we got diverted. Then peeps started seeing huge amount of money along the way and mostly developers and project owners literally started to blow off the bubble with that intentions only.

Now, peeps themselves are trading to earn profits. However, when the limit of earning reaches beyond millions of dollars in short period of time then greed takes over.

Guess what the role is played by either project owners or peeps as whale investors. So these things were supposed to happen someday or other.
1279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To those who do not care about their privacy. Why? on: November 22, 2022, 03:58:14 PM
I don’t think we are taught to fear hiding something or everything BUT we are trained to do so since our childhood. Now there should be clear instructions on what should be private and what should be public. I would say finances is something that can be kept 90% hidden and 10% public. Well that is in the sense of contributing to the society that we wander in. Howeve, today’s government would be like if we even move a dollar to buy or sell position then they would be like “yeah get it taxed on both the ways”. That’s insane. That’s why peeps are going crazy and their craziness should be for bitcoin now.
1280  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: November 20, 2022, 06:40:12 PM
Roo’s $100,000 office marsupial, Cool man that’s huge competition one more time. I think Roobet team is one of the best with their giveaways. They are always huge in amount and at least 50 winners will always share the winnings from it. I think I had participated in couple of the competitions and ended up collecting more than 160 tickets.

I mostly wagered on Dice but it’s always good if wagering is done on the x5 tickets to collect it faster.

Like in this case all the word cup bets gonna get x5 so makes it competitive and insane trivia. I might be audience this time, excited to see forum member names winning it. :-)
