1181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are good AI coins to buy and HODL? on: December 30, 2022, 05:25:39 PM
Did actually we have a product with "AI" actually work?

I been in-crypto around 4 years, AI is always being mentioned or the main utility of some protect in here. Meanwhile, the reality almost all-of them is failed & that's the reason while project talking about "AI".

Is not actually building some "AI, they probably using that for buzzword marketing.

I would like to think the same. It’s black hole industry. They will create a buzz about something and will start pulling it into the black hole and revolving our world around it. First it all started with few Altcoins, then they launched ICO trend. Idk, later came in era of miners, now we have NFT trend which is getting tailed by Artificial intelligence these days. I think these kind of trends are going to be there all the time. They will come and go all the time. We don’t even know what’s going to be there, but those are short term trends. All the above ways that I mentioned remained for short period of time. Definitely AI is next. Better invest wisely.
1182  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: December 30, 2022, 04:42:24 PM
Wow, I just completely forgot about this and just remembered when I got this mail from freebitco.in

Just while checking my FUN tokens I noticed I had 44 WoF spins and so I spinned them all and the results are below.

I guess today is my lucky day since I won 5k BTC as well as 1 GT (I know it's less but at least there's a chance, lol)

Congrats buddy. May I ask why are you keeping the FUN locked for only 90 day basis. I mean isn’t it would be even greater benefits if you keep them locked up for whole year. Since the APY is much more higher (25%). Anyways it’s worth it to keep receiving the WOF everyday all the time. I mean can Feel the premium feature already since it is my one and half year journey through premium membership. It has given me more than I could ever imagine I would have earned on freebitcoin. The longer you keep it the more benefits it gives us.
1183  Economy / Economics / Re: People have learned about money printing on: December 30, 2022, 03:03:45 PM
I don’t think anyone really cares about money printing. There is note press in my city from where I pass at least 4-5 times a day but nothing comes on my mind because I’m seeing that note press since my childhood. All I hear or see how highly guarded it is and how an employee coming out of it feels prestigious with high paid job and government schemes. That’s all mate.

How many people might be thinking about how much money is getting printed? Everyone cares about how much we got and how much we can spend.

People know about money printing but people don’t care about it. We can’t do anything about it.
1184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My dream has become a reality on: December 30, 2022, 02:16:03 PM
This is amazing. There are many more posts like this and more and more are getting added every other week. This means at the most basic level that is right from the bottom small businesses which is very cool. See if they start like that way then it’s starting to let know the common crowd that bitcoin is amazing currency which can be used for daily transactions and they can also pay and receive the same. Yes I know that we do not need such publicity for the bitcoin but we surely need such acceptance to make it look more viable option for day today life.

Congratulation and keep it up.
1185  Economy / Economics / Re: The fight over electric car batteries on: December 29, 2022, 10:49:30 AM
How far we are going to go with this thing? The whole electric vehicle thing is getting developed at very fast rate but the technology is really old. I mean considering the timeline that we are in and pace of demand that’s rising over the period of time is crazy and all they are relying on is the same old lithium batteries.

If anyway they are putting so much money in the research and development of new technologies then they should invest more into new type of batteries.

Smaller in size and high throughput that’s what they really need in the long run.

If they stop chasing the old tech and improve the batteries the fight may be over soon.
1186  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: December 29, 2022, 10:16:50 AM
For big and regulated casino, it will happen in the future. While the small and unregulated casino, they're easy to avoid to get regulated until they make huge cash flow and get a radar from governments, so in the end they can't hide it anymore.
I think the starting point here will be quite different: regulated exchanges with FIAT gateways must be able to prove the (legal) origin of coins. For example, if you win 1 Bitcoin on an unregulated gambling site and want to exchange this Bitcoin for USD later, the Exchanges will refuse to deposit the coin in the future because the origin does not come from a "secure source".

European Exchanges such as Bitpanda are already doing this, where the origin of a Bitcoin must be traceable (e.g. not from a mixing-service) and from 100% legal sources, otherwise the deposit will not be allowed.

But why would it matter if the winner is going to sell the bitcoin for USD and then going to pay the taxes for it? It’s big amount you know, one full bitcoin is going to be around 15k at the bottom after fees and all. That is fairly recognisable amount for the tax authorities so the user will declare it on the balance sheet no matter what.

About casino, I’m not sure how they collect the funds in the first place apart from the users depositing in them but they definitely have accountant working for them, I highly doubt they will have any issues with it.
1187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think hive blockchain is underrated on: December 29, 2022, 10:01:06 AM
Nothing seems underrated in the crypto space unless and until it is called for it. HIVE is nothing new and as it is just forked project it’s literally Mirror copy of steemit and nothing more. I don’t understand why it is that way considering steemit was already in place, it was doing great for the bloggers and they paid handsome money.

They even invented the upvote bots, whole community was chasing those stems.

So the counter question is what Hive is doing about it? What’s really changed in this form that should interest everyone.
1188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin payment laundering in order to avoid taxation on: December 29, 2022, 09:19:35 AM
At some point you will have to spend the money for living so you may end converting bitcoin into the local currency or get it from crypto ATM. As far as ATM considered they will not ask you for KYC for limited cash but after that you may have to go for taxation.

The best way-
Pay only at shops where bitcoin is accepted.
Pay to the peer directly from your wallet.
Or
Convert amount of bitcoin into fiat which is your calculated expense on monthly basis.
Keep rest into bitcoin. Only pay taxes for expenses which will get reduced anyways since they are expenses.
1189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving: If not Bitcoin Wallet then House for Fiat. on: December 28, 2022, 05:06:39 PM
I don’t have cash at my home and neither I will keep any of it handy. The thing is since the day they have integrated UPI method in our country even the smallest digit fiat can be transacted over it which means there no need of bearing cash on us. You can simply transact digitally without any delay.

All the real time gross settlements are done within seconds so whose gonna have cash on them anyways?

Moreover, investing into bitcoin is entirely different thing. A person can choose to hodl or not is up to them.
1190  Economy / Economics / Re: U.S. National Debt Ceiling on: December 28, 2022, 01:59:55 PM
What do you think and the possible effects if the United States defaults on its debts or its credit rating is downgraded?

Simple, we're f*****!
Rember when the US economy coughed a decade ago? The entire world came down with a fever if now it would default on all the debt it would send us into a coma, everything that's happening now will be remembered as the not-so-bad times before the collapse.

Leaving the consequences aside, the level of debt doesn't matter as long as its serviceable, people have been talking about the default for decades, and every single raise has come with predictions of an imminent collapse and obviously, there was none, Japan's debt has surpassed GDP back in 98 and since then we have heard all these stories about how it will end, crash, burn and here we are 25 years from that, another 14 years since it has gone over 200% and nothing.
To put in perspective, from the start of that news, 1 billion people have died in this world of old age and haven't seen the "inevitable" happening, how many it will be till the US defaults? 10?

Because they also increase the cost of everything each year by some % factor and thus levy taxes on it to keep the nation going. Idk, but that’s a dirty business and we can’t really compare US and Japan. The US has always been ranked first for the GDP in comparison with any other nation while over the time public debts will also matter.

US has long gone this time. The difference between Japan in 98 and US in 2022 is that, we have just crossed pandemic cycle. The US was literally throwing away stimulus packages as if they have got it covered.

Sometime in future millions of peeps are going to withdraw their gratuity and provident funds from the government and it would intersection of chaos. You never know what’s coming up in the future if this kind of debts continues over the time.
1191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin decimals. Is 1.00000000 Bitcoin the same as 1.000000000000 Bitcoin? on: December 28, 2022, 01:20:14 PM
MiliSatoshi?
Wow, I never heard about it and all I knew is Satoshi is the last division of bitcoin that we can trade. I don’t know but I never seen mSat getting traded on any faucet also which are popular for paying their user in Satoshi payment for small and quick payouts. If msat was so popular then I think it would have been the digit of interest to be paid out by such small paying / micro payment sites.

I was curious after reading this,
But msat is actually based on Lightening network? & not the bitcoin?
1192  Economy / Economics / Re: What was your lowest point financially? How did you go through it ? on: December 27, 2022, 03:42:26 PM
Got scammed by ICO sale. Literally that was first and last day of my life when I started ignoring every ICO sale that started coming up. Though it was not dead zone for me, I realised I have lost pretty big amount in the process of wanting quick profits. In fact it was ICO so it was not even quick Money but it was shit money and it was a shot worth nothing. That’s really sad one. Later, I started mining operation and it was real deal. Though I’m dipping as the market goes up and down all the time, however it’s still worth it and I’m getting up on my feet from every situation.
1193  Economy / Economics / Re: The poor people with their reasoning on: December 25, 2022, 05:19:43 PM
That's quite inconsiderate. Can you imagine many people don't have the luxury to invest because at the end of the month they only have debts left?

The richer you are, the more risk you can afford to take without going hungry or homeless when your investments fail.

Just amazing reality this dude explained.
I have seen poor families literally eating the same food twice a day and even the left overs are eaten on the following day. That kind of poorer exists in the world man. You can’t expect anything from them which defines as “investing”. All they can invest into is a “hope” that they will do some random labour work 12 hours a day and hope that they will get food for it. They are just surviving, just breathing and still happy with it. I don’t think they in their own dreams they might be thinking about liquidating funds just like that on crypto.
1194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Problem with mass adoption of Bitcoin on: December 25, 2022, 04:33:23 PM
Perhaps, there will never be mass adoption of the bitcoin hence we will never encounter the problem of running out of the bitcoins really. So technically speaking we will still have enough bitcoins (/Satoshi) to trade amongst us. Hodling, selling these processes will continue to improve over the time. There may be few forks along the way so it can shift users or investors temporarily to the other coins. In short there is always plenty of room which can sustain bitcoin and its usefulness over the period. Of course this can be challenged with counter debate but seems best possible scenario….
1195  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin here to stay in Brazil or??.. on: December 24, 2022, 07:21:07 PM
Well that’s not the real crypto currency so it does not matter if Brazil succeed in it or not. Just creating digital coin does not mean it can replace the bitcoin or other crypto coins. That’s really rough idea to think about. Bitcoin is bitcoin. The complexity and simplicity, both can be seen in the single cocoon of cryptographic methods. Bitcoin won’t go away from peeps mind unless and until there comes better version of the bitcoin. Well, it seems impossible to me in the long run so bitcoin will surely stay there.
1196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Megathread] Bitcoin: What is missing for everyone to use btc on a daily basis? on: December 24, 2022, 05:52:00 PM
How bitcoin is missing the characters that are mentioned in the voting list? I really don’t understand what op is saying because bitcoin is already providing those characters. Bitcoin is simply doing great things for us and it’s adoption is really remarkable. For your information, bitcoin has picked up everything within 6-7 years of its launch and percolated throughout the world.

I don’t think there is anything else needed from bitcoin. If you are asking what is interfering bitcoin as global power then it’s government and their shit rules. But rare chance they will get ridden off.
1197  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat and crypto and stock is bs, but property is real on: December 23, 2022, 07:22:08 PM
Yeah sure and when it comes to buying or selling the property how would you do that? Stones and paper ? Well the answer is fiat or may be crypto if someone is interested in that. That’s called as circle of economics. The entire world knows language of money and you can not go away with it. To buy small candy or hectors of land you will need those green bills. It can give you nice security over the time but you can’t use it to trade the bills on everyday life. It can make you good returns but it might be very hard to find purchaser based on various factors.
1198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should be very careful with alts on: December 23, 2022, 06:10:26 PM
The unregulated market? It’s better be that way because that’s the whole point of crypto currencies and the way they should be working by now. I mean the whole principle is to have regulation free currency which we now have and enjoying it.

Now nobody cares if the market is unregulated or how is it going with it as long as you are playing it completely safe with altcoin market. We can do it safely only if know on which project to trust and which not.
1199  Economy / Economics / Re: UK Norway finland and sweden economy in BIG debt on: December 23, 2022, 05:48:06 PM
Western countries and their past deeds, now we get it. It’s hard boomerang that’s hitting them very hard now. Let’s not forget UK was on the quest to capture the whole world, literally entire globe man. Imagine the kind of money that went into the war. As @franky1 stated they cleared the debts in 2006. Well by the time they do not clear the debts unforeseen circumstances started coming up within next decade. As we know very well, past 3-4 years have been hard to entire sphere and we are still not recovered.
Definitely worst yet to come I guess.
1200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important is fiat to Bitcoin? on: December 23, 2022, 05:10:10 PM
I don’t know what’s got into this post but fiat does not mean anything to the bitcoin except one thing, it’s just giving us the way to measure its weightage / cost/ value you name it. It’s simple idea, the way you just say one dollar equals to one dollar. In similar ways if you imagine the world where we only have bitcoin around the globe then who would have thought about bitcoin and fiat pair anyways? We just be saying that bitcoin is equal to one bitcoin and that’s all it need. So for me fiat does not matter much considering you are not selling it for fiat.
