1321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your reason for investing in NFT? on: November 04, 2022, 09:34:29 AM
Share with me your story and the reasons why you switched from crypto investing to nft? 🙂
What was the reason behind it? And what was interesting about it? 😉

There is no reason because I never switched investing into NFT at all. NFT is just another wave on the ocean which is going to hit the shore and get dissolved back to its primary place and vanish. That’s the thing here about NFT and you can also sense the same with the current key word search about it over the Google or other platforms. The crypto currencies is always going to be perfect investment since it’s in existence since long as compared to the NFT and they will always have organic volume all the time. So my trust and efforts still goes into bitcoin and other currencies.
1322  Economy / Economics / Re: Is long-term employee retention a losing battle? on: November 04, 2022, 05:12:46 AM
. . . And does the employee know what are they actually doing? Most of the time they switch because they want to have higher salaries in very less time and also above their skill sets. Many of them try to do “moonlight” jobs and thus end up disturbed work environment into both companies for which they are working.

This reduces the work quality and many times employer end up paying higher money than is needed. We can not blame it to the employer all the time just because they are sitting up there and we think they won’t suffer from recession or losses.

They do actually, if work quality goes down with the time it could happen that they will loose their contracts too and it’s the vital source from where our salaries and benefits come to us.

That’s cyclic economy, it comes around and goes around.

I am not saying it’s totally employers or employees fault, what I am saying is it’s a balanced workout. If it is maintained then there is no need to lay off the employee.
1323  Economy / Economics / Re: Philippines First Regulated Bank for its Cryptocurrency and Trading services. on: November 03, 2022, 02:54:11 PM
That’s definitely welcoming for the Philippians and it will easily drive more clients towards them who are into crypto and also from new comer perspective.

I don’t know but it could also be potential source for attracting the overseas peeps to trade and invest on their platform and may open up doors for international competitions.

Now this is good step from them for also driving more investment into the country. Hope they take it to that level soon. Officially!
1324  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: November 03, 2022, 02:02:36 PM
I think freebitcoin users will never get big prizes like this, I only ever got 5k satoshi in WOF free spins 2 times

Did you forget the recent Lambo winner is a member here? Wink

There are many. To be honest many user are not very open to their winnings and do not always want to share here on the forum. Though the accounts itself is private they still think it would expose them somehow.
There have been so many winnings such as 200 dollar free roll. That has been published many time by users and I think that’s the highest prize you could get on freebitcoin for “FREE”. I think that’s already win win for forum user to rest of the world user ratio.

Sometime I do feel that every user on freebitocin might be already present on this forum itself. It’s crypto so we never know !
1325  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is this not shilling but information sharing? on: November 03, 2022, 01:36:56 PM
Depends on the matter of video or blog and what’s been actually stated in it.

For example, it would be straight up shilling if they are focusing everything on investing into specific project or let’s  say a token/coin and then it would be clear that project paid them to do so. If they add the affiliate links or something then it should be taken way seriously.

However, one fact is sure, there are thousands and thousands of channels and blogs which will keep posting about the blog or video and they couldn’t really have filtering criteria for the same.

1326  Economy / Economics / Re: Biden Administration Wants To Make It Easier To Seize Crypto on: November 03, 2022, 11:34:05 AM
That definitely sucks but instead of seizing the crypto currencies they should be enforcing taxation law. If anyone is possessing more than 100k in crypto then allow them but once they convert it to the USD which they will have to someday if they want to use it then make them entitled for tax payments. It is that simple but NO it’s USA, they always have to do something out of the box so what can one say?
On the other hand various countries are imposing taxes but at least peeps are happy trading it.

Does anyone have a good crypto wallet they would like to recommend under these circumstances?

Your best shot is hardware wallet. Put crypto in it, buy locker at the nearest bank and put it safely there.  Grin
1327  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: November 02, 2022, 03:46:09 PM
I have third option: Business / Entrepreneurs

You get best of both the worlds mentioned above. You are highly proactive when you invest money and time on yourself and can do magical things in terms of financial management. Definitely it’s more paying and you could still have lot of time for yourself.

Though it depends entirely on nature of business most of them would take lot of time, struggling period cant go off soon but once the base is created you can easily sky rocket yourself.

Just indulge into this pathway if you really want to average the pros and cons of those two ways you mentioned. ;-)
1328  Economy / Economics / Re: Is recession coming actually? on: November 02, 2022, 02:28:03 PM
I’m paying more for milk, oil, vegetables. I am pretty sure we are into recession already. I am sure everyone is going through the same unless and until they are not richest around. By the way you stated that it’s high unemployment which means that’s actually very problematic mate. Recession plus unemployment is the worst formula for disturbed economic. This is growing all the time considering war situation, ever growing sanctions from powerful countries and everything crippling around that bad circle. It’s gonna make it worst just wait and watch.
1329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why btc cannot move pow to pos on: November 01, 2022, 04:53:03 PM
This question comes, Do btc network can move to POW to POS?
I am just asking and there is a issue that electricity bill too. Energy problem is most hottest topic all now. so lets discuss this

Oh yeah the energy problem, it’s good way to market bitcoin actually. At least for searching the energy consumption peeps are searching bitcoin on the Google and Once they realise it’s nothing as compared to the worlds energy consumption they would definitely go and buy it. Far cheaper than printing money in a press, hiring world class security to protect it and yet getting robbed now and then. Paying salaries to press runners and what not.

Definitely Bitcoin is working on PoW because that’s what Mr. Satoshi dreamed about and had all 360 thoughts while developing blockchain.

PoS came in afterwards when they thought about new business line. Funny.

1331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin - History repeating itself on: October 30, 2022, 06:10:19 PM
I literally stopped reading after you stated SHIB. In general they are all just capable of luring peeps into their universe where prices are so cheap that you can easily buy them in bulk and think you have huge amount of it and could easily turn it into fortune. Basically this is calling crowded funding ultimately because it’s little investment and that’s what peeps want these  days. You know that feeling of buying these shit coins and hoping that some of them will turn into bitcoin like price tag in the near future. That’s funny but bitter truth.
1332  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Effective strategy to get crypto news. on: October 30, 2022, 05:47:15 PM
Though I would consider them factual data which is also important to take into consideration while investing and trading bitcoin I believe you should focus more on to technical analysis. Many times TA can be upper hand in the crypto trading because this market very volatile and it could leave the boundaries of facts anytime given the trade. I am more or less trading less and hodling more so I know one thing sure, news may or may not affect the bitcoin prices and with the time they are getting very disconnected. So don’t take that factor into consideration at A+ level but may be just for reference. And best source is forum itself.
1333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 8 Years ago today, $500,000 worth of bitcoin was distributed to MIT students. on: October 30, 2022, 05:16:19 PM
That’s amazing how they did it back then and taught those student this is new recipe worth trying out and definitely most of them turned into hodlers for sure. I am wondering if any of those students are present on the forum or not because there is pretty high chance someone must be from that group on the forum for obvious reason of bitcoin and blockchain tech discussion.

This was good move by MIT group. Wish we had more such news coming out from various technological institutions and also from financial institute. Like giving some practical approach for using the bitcoin. :-)
1334  Economy / Economics / Re: Printing of money doesn't make a country rich but to diversify like a person on: October 30, 2022, 04:50:17 PM
This is why diversifying the countries assets other than printing money is very important. For example, gold bonds,  government PF money, and other stable reserves which are locked away for years to come and thus they make up good amount of reserves and could help country from inflation kinda situation.

Other than this, countries relationship with overseas businesses matters a lot and I mean this one. Just take how Germany is crippled when Russia cut off their trades with them. Being highly modest country, Germany is now helpless and getting tangled up in recession more and more.

I hope current studies can provide more info on this. Printing money is short way out through difficult situations but not permanent solution.
1335  Economy / Economics / Re: Competition in business on: October 29, 2022, 05:36:49 AM
For this very reason in our country every company irrespective of its nature and sector they have unions and associations which are formed on city level and state level. They will define the specific rules for how much to be charged for a product or service which is prime daily need or emergency stuff. For example, medicines production. There are cheap to premium drugs from same formulations however on the counter medical association will decide fixed price for all of them so that everyone can have fair business.

Because every production house knows, if they keep doing too much competitions and try to reduce the prices for their finished product they will end up producing lower quality product as they would be using cheap raw material, cheap labour workers resulting into bad quality product with low rates.

This is why it should be in synchronous and that’s what followed in my country.

But what to say, there are always businesses somewhere at the corner who will try to complicate the process.
1336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Alternative to Bitcoin, Your Alternative is Bitcoin. on: October 27, 2022, 03:49:13 AM
Definitely no need for the motivation to members who are already on this forum. Most of us are here and active because this is the closest place where we can go closer to bitcoin physically.

I mean from now onwards the trend of such news will continue to grow because slowly slowly every officials know that bitcoin could be escape pod if things do not go well in the fiat system during inflation and recession.

It's hard bound reality that they are taking longer time to accept it but deep down evert government knows, if bitcoin exists today then it exists for reason.
1337  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: October 27, 2022, 03:18:32 AM
BTC price touched 21k today, 5 days left. I did not place my bet this month as I expected we will leave the channel sooner or later, but I decided to bet the on FUN and I wonder if we will stay in the most popular range. We will see.
BTW fact we are above 20k is always a good news!

I am not sure but this could be treat from the bitcoin community on the 14th Anniversary of blockchain white paper. There may be loyal millionaire players making it happen or this could be just someone who thought to buy at bigger level as we move towards last two months of the year. This is very common in the bitcoin trading pattern as we move to the end and towards halloween and Christmas things gonna turn them upside down.

Considering FUN, it’s unpredictable at this movement since increased bitcoin prices might just hamper the paired conversion and show higher price for it. This is applicable only if bitcoin keeps growing upwards.
1338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vote To Earn (V2E) on: October 27, 2022, 02:47:26 AM
That’s something new and hearing for the first time. Good that community is being imaginative at level which was impossible to think of before crypto. Now all the vote of confidence has increased day by day and we can safely say there are minds who are making real use of crypto space.

I am just not sure how the whole system would work in the long terms.

Quote
Every time a miner achieves the goal of 100 CMP a block is signed as proof of vote (PoV) and the block’s reward is released.

The rewards for PAX (BEP20 token) mining are reduced by half every 210,000 blocks. The first mined of PAX would earn you 50 PAX for mining one block. In block number 210,001 this was halved to 25 PAX. In block number, 420,001 the earn for one block will be 12.5 PAX, etc.

To get started, you need to become a member of one of VoteToEarn’s partner apps and start to vote from any mobile or web device.

I mean the protocol looks simple and there are little bit chances of breaking the system. Though multiple accounts and greed of earning quick cash has never stopped scammers, it could breach with unfair voting too.

I just hope that they have taken care of those loopholes too. Rest system looks really unique.
1339  Economy / Economics / Re: World going to Crisis and money saving mode but good to start trading on: October 26, 2022, 05:35:00 PM
Trading sector looking for time being mate but it’s not going to last forever. The trading market do make up most of the common public investments which is always cream layer and it can remove itself as and when required. The current times are such that peeps can withdraw it for their daily needs. With increasing cost of living and high interest rate things will affect these peeps first and then comes the legendary investors. Government can not just keep their funds locked up if emergency situation goes out of the hand. They have nation to run.
1340  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: October 26, 2022, 04:48:37 PM

curious if we'll ever see other kinds of medium on roobet's contests
we don't see a lot of 3D submissions, or even things related to NFTs
maybe the best art could be minted on the eth blockchain and given as a prize on a gambling game
many ideas
This is art submission contest and you can submit any type of art and if you look on all entries then you find some 3D models in blender with Mr Roo or some other design concept but not at professional level and most of winning one's are hand drawn/digital painting/hand crafted items and some other in most of art contest. But if you say about the NFT then it's also jpeg image on blockchain and you just need to submit it as entry only so no need to have NFT in this matter.
I think that if you submit a Generated 3D Art, I think it won't have a chance winning on the roobet tournament especially if the 3d Art generator is open in public. You will have a chance if the generator you have is made by yourself and entirely made for winning the roobet tournament. I believe that judges is considering the hardwork and efforts of those artist so submitting a common generated art even if it's 3d won't stand a chance against hand drawn arts.

Are you kidding me? This does not even qualify for an entry mate because that’s not this competition is about. Just simple rules, draw/sketch/make with your hands and imagination which definitely states that it does not have to be imagined by AI art generator.

I’m so scared with this AI thing now. Is it going to eat our jobs as an artist or what?

All I can explain is, its human participation and no AI should be part of it.

I bet even you do art with it then there are artist who will have arts 100x better than AI one. That’s what Roobet competition is all about: True Artist.
