1281  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia To Legalize Use Of Cryptocurrency In International Trade on: November 20, 2022, 06:02:19 PM
They are looking for the back door for sure. Now the situation is even worst than before so it’s undeniably sure that they would want to have the bitcoin on board and see which countries are open to trade with them. Considering various sanctions they have lost the battle of trades in international market and must be struggling with the financial burden. It’s clear because they are not really receiving funds but loosing it all in one war. Now no country would ever expose their financials on paper, so as to Russia. It must be making them hardened over various situations now which might have made them to come to this conclusion.
1282  Economy / Economics / Re: Twitter Crypto head and staff resigns on: November 20, 2022, 04:56:36 PM
This is nothing but Act of Elon.
He did not seem to be making Twitter as traditional outlook but more or less financial system now. If you go through his recent publications then many of them would state words like paid tweets, tipping the tweets, monetisation of tweets and what not. As a result various work flows are now changing.

Moreover, the first action Elon took when he entered Twitter was to fire the top management within a month. That definitely unsecured the minds of many employees. They had dedicated their hard work towards them and I believe what we are seeing now is the change which is intolerable by employees.
1283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I hardly have up to $100 again in all my fait bank accounts since I joined BTT on: November 20, 2022, 09:33:05 AM
It is so annoying when I look back at the wire transfer transactions I had performed in the past, to the point of charging me as high as $71 for a single transfer if correspondent banks are involved.

A big shame on the centralized fiat because of this extortion!

It is definitely annoying considering the amount of fees they are taking for border transactions. You need to pay for foreign exchange charges, services charges, GS tax and yes of course the bank charges for handling the whole transaction.

I usually keep sending funds to USA for work purpose and you guys might have some idea how worst process it is to go through it.

If you see following screenshots then you would see various stuff.

1. I need to explain them what is the Purpose of remittance?
2. Reason for Remittance
3. Charges for Bearer (intermediate bank charges)

If you go through second screen shot then

1. Exchange rate needs to confirmed
2. They are so greedy they would take charge for delivery of your funds.

As if like they are threatening us our funds might get lost on the way. They are hell crazy.

______________________________________________

Definitely not worth it.

Like same transaction if I have send via bitcoin my wallet would charge me near about 1-2 USD with economic speed.
I don’t have to explain any shit to anyone like from where the money is coming and to whom I am sending.
1284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin payment implementing at the Bitcoin Island(BORACAY) on: November 19, 2022, 06:46:30 PM
Yay, Cool let’s go to Boracay then. I am not sure what El Salvador is missing which is not giving spark to the locals to use the bitcoin and do a mass adoption of the same. Is it anything like that if government is involved into something then the trust is hampered somehow? Or may be it has got something to do with different peeps with different mindset towards the bitcoin?
I think places which are more or less leisure, fun, escape spaces are the one where bitcoin adoption is on the accelerated rate as compared to the dense places with city lights. However in all, Boracay has given me good gesture. Thanks for sharing this.  Cheesy
1285  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: In trading and Investment you need to know one thing on: November 18, 2022, 07:46:34 PM
And when whale fails to manage it properly the whole market crashes like FTX. Lolz.
That’s really funny but it’s not when crashes like that happen. It’s money of average trader which is playing the games really. A whale could be institutional investor or it could be hidden government fishy plots playing the market in their favour. The times are really bad and we do not know who’s behind all this in the current situation.

However, remarkable example of whale is Elon Musk. That guy literally moved DOGE to unimaginable rates per coin and made millions and millions. However, that’s public whale who doesn’t care about privacy.
1286  Economy / Economics / Re: There is Hope at the End of the Tunnel. Don't Give Up. on: November 18, 2022, 07:21:54 PM
You think everyday is yours? Well that wasn’t Sams day and he lost it all. I am pretty sure he is poor by number but not by his bank account. He was billionaire with sound brain so he must have invested and saved up lot of money along the way. The fact is, we can not be rich in the crypto all the time and not all of us can be rich at the same time if you ask me. If someone is buying then someone is selling and it depends whether they are selling or buying in loss/profit. For Sam it was tragic, we are already in the bear, we already lost big chunk of money from the market and then FTX happened. What could have he done? Just wait and watch.
1287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Trust wallet and is it safe? on: November 18, 2022, 06:58:15 PM
Not really sure, but their developer page claims that the wallet is open-source[1]. If it's accurate, then it's definitely a positive thing.

On the other hand, regardless if it's safe or not, it's really not recommended to hold huge amounts on money through a software wallet. 99% of people should always go with reputable hardware wallets.

[1] https://trustwallet.com/developer/

I like this point. After the falls here and there software part is untrustworthy and anything that’s online is sucker punch today or tomorrow. Now the priority is changed. Let us keep the sequence of securities like this: Hardware wallets being the safest one, then paper wallets, software wallets (preferably with Pass phrase + password protection), decentralised exchanges, (not you centralised exchange). That is something everyone should note now and follow whole thinking about storing huge amounts of coins. Smiley
1288  Other / Off-topic / Re: Elon Musk want to buy bitcointalk on: November 18, 2022, 06:26:12 PM
Interesting question though. I was wondering what OP is onto when he wrote this question and what he might have been thinking about Elon and Bitcointalks connection.

Though it doesn’t matter at all, let’s agree that this is complete non sense in the first place. Elon does not even think twice before tweeting or firing peeps around his company and what would we expect from such guy when comes around this forum?

The first thing he would do when he buy the forum is:
Fire the loyal and serious members out of the forum. He is so capable that he might just turn this forum into colourful modern era chat room.

We may start seeing stri***rs after few months.

“Not gonna happen”. Let’s chill and keep the forum together in similar way it did since its inception. <3
1289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: *El Salvador To Start Purchasing Bitcoin Everyday* on: November 17, 2022, 05:12:22 PM
Shouldn't really be a big deal. They're pretty much just moving from buying dips, to sort of like dollar-cost averaging(obviously not exactly DCA, but slightly similar). Which they should've done in the first place instead of trying to timing prices.

El Salvador definitely had bought at very high prices in the past so yes this is the option for them. In fact they must have planned it intentionally to safeguard their investments and bring up the national reserves of bitcoin at good price.

Quote
El Salvador’s Bitcoin Holdings Lose 60% of Their Value in Crypto Selloff
Country has 2,381 Bitcoin that are now worth $41.5 million
Finance Minister says government hasn’t sold any Bitcoin

What caused them to incur the losses worth 60% (which is definitely serious stuff) is the thing which will help them recover their losses. That is buying at the discounted rates.

Not very long they also lost around 40-57% valuation back in July month as well.

They are literally bagger and serious hodler for sure. I think they must keep it that way, possibility they will be in good position after rakeback.
1290  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Biggest reason why you dont make profit first on: November 17, 2022, 01:20:11 PM
Way way generalised statements OP. You can not win the market if you can not beat it in the first place. If I am not wrong then I am pretty sure we need to use our brain to do so and facts and analysis in consideration to get upto excellent trading.

Who says you can not make money in the falling market? Big bulls actually short the position to make more money and they are kings of bearish market.

There are all kinds of strategies are available to trade with. If you know which one to apply at right time then no one can stop you making millions even in such market position.
1291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are crypto devs so greedy on: November 17, 2022, 12:59:50 PM
The best chance is via investing through trusted platforms such as direct investment to let’s say ETH staking on their contracts directly. Centralised exchanges could not be trusted anymore and if someone still wants proof of this then they should really leave the crypto world and stay happy with the FIAT. The only way to survive crypto investments is to trade quickly, move profits and initial amount towards your wallet door immediately.

Coming to the part of devs, well what to say about “greed” when it comes to money in millions humans change their minds. Sad reality of the current world. Stay cautious stay safe.
1292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Layer 2 is in the Hands of Polygon matic on: November 16, 2022, 05:49:44 PM
Now the main thing is not to buy those assets where Alameda has invested, because they will sell. The market may still fall, I do not believe in such a quick recovery.
Do not keep money on exchanges, or send money there only to buy assets, with a subsequent withdrawal.

This is amazing thinking, I get it how the market would be unstable wherever Alameda is there. That’s really worth noting down because imagine how pissed they must be considering they lost millions of dollars in such pity way. It could take up some serious time and efforts to earn that much money back. FTX is already not believing into returning any sort of money to anyone since they have worst loss ever.

Other markets where they have invested is high risk. If they start to sell something then they will do it at mega levels and could end up creating chain reaction of selling. Better move everything into the wallet. Good idea.
1293  Economy / Economics / Re: Toyota, Cummins eye hydrogen-combustion engines on: November 16, 2022, 04:28:55 PM
Yeah same news was published in India where Toyota in association with “Kirloskar” an Indian electronic leading organization have already been researching on the Hydrogen Fuel based cars and they actually launched the first version of it back in 2014.

So we already talking about projects which happened all the way back 8-9 years ago. Definitely the start of which might have happened way before than considering it was the year when they launched it.

Quote
Toyota Kirloskar Motor claimed that Toyota Mirai is powered by a hydrogen fuel cell battery pack and capable of providing a range up to 650 km in a single charge, with a refuelling time of five minutes.

What’s really causing the delays for such green projects is really a myth. They were able to search for nuclear fission and fusion and yet taking long to successfully and economically produce hydrogen based vehicles.
1294  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Australian crypto exchange suspends withdrawal on: November 16, 2022, 01:49:25 PM
More and more exchangers are failing with the time, but why would the fail of it affects the other exchangers? FTX is not just one who has its token listed everywhere but many. Others to keep failing all the time but it does not mean an exchanger needs to shut down it’s operations until the further notice. That’s really interesting fact we have started to realise now.

Is it going to be aftermath of FTX event or is it the event that every other administration is using as up front curtain to halt their operations for time being? Weird?
1295  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing against 2024 on: November 15, 2022, 05:39:42 PM
Apparently we have the same cycle repeating every 4 years so I can surely tell it’s gonna be perfect opportunity to buy. Definitely it’s a go and one time. Imagine this time bitcoin pumping all the way to previous ATH and the also moving further let’s say 80-85k, man that would make so many peeps millionaire in just single go. I couldn’t wait but to collect as much bitcoin as I could from all the type of incomes that I am having. I just hope that this bear market lasts little longer so that I can arrange the money at right time. :-D
1296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don’t make any crazy/suicidal moves in this bear market on: November 13, 2022, 04:36:16 PM
This is good message because peeps has been doing such extreme moves in the crypto markets. This is nice reminder because bitcoin is dipping at its deepest point during the current financial year. This is impacting the market a lot and peeps also go take extreme steps in the flow of it. The negativity that is getting spread all over the market is really concerning. This is also leading to mega dumps throughout the market.

Only message from the desk would be, investing more money (affordable investment) and buy as much as we could.

This could also contribute to little stabilisation of current market if EVERYONE follow this.
1297  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Can Binance also get bankrupt soon? on: November 13, 2022, 03:10:31 PM
Yeah sure market can go crazy and now it’s impacting the business at alarming rate. The fall of exchanges is due to the fact that they are getting the business deprived due to bearish market. It seems that major exchanges if took little wrong management then it could go on their shoulders and turn them down just like FTX. I am not even sure about binance now considering bearish burden.

Many times they are also working on various extensions and projects which calls for additional investment. So when such down turn comes then they loose lot of money. Then it turns to such incidents.
1298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not your key not your coins is real, not just quoted. (FTX Issue) on: November 13, 2022, 01:57:48 PM
Yeah, smoothly inserted into the system now and should be followed by everyone. I think it’s very important that at least forum members must follow this formula and tell the same to non forum members. This will slowly make bitcoin very strong in the coming days and on top of that it would bring less fraud, less scams and less theft of our own money from the exchanges itself.

Exchanges are just businesses who will look after their own good and quality service etc etc remains only in the book of rules. Follow your own wallets and enjoy the decentralisation. :-)
1299  Economy / Economics / Re: Do your work. on: November 13, 2022, 08:46:48 AM
Though values will remain same but we do get hikes in the salaries every year which means we are fighting the inflation with that volume.

But I agree that, it’s not worth it. The earnings and time ratio in corporate world is at its worst and can not make us live high standard lives.

There will always be difference between business man and corporate employee. What one employee earns every year can be achieved by businessman in single work order!!
1300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your lost from FTX collapse on: November 12, 2022, 07:23:04 PM
I lost the trust from exchanges one more time and gained lesson that always trade quickly on them and move your assets to hardware wallets. Now I am more happy that I have invested on hardware wallets and I am keeping my coins locked up there for better future. I don’t know why traders usually tend to put up so much money on the exchanger and leave it there unattended. They will never take the responsibility for it and that is also one of the key point they will add into their Terms of Services. So they always get an upper hand when such situation arises and peeps loose the money.
